Charlotte at Dallas 8:30 ET

Hornets (+) over Mavericks- The Hornets who are just 7-18 SU and 19-9 at home on the road blew a 20-point lead at home against the LA Clippers last night. Charlotte is now one-game under .500 and were destroyed by the Mavericks 122-84 in the last meeting at home and will look forward to the second meeting in Dallas where they are 4-1 ATS in the last five. I suspect that it will take some time for newly acquired Trey Burke, Tom Hardaway Jr. and Courtney Lee in fit in and of course Porzingis is down until next season. Take CHARLOTTE!

Clemson at Georgia Tech 7:00 ET

Yellow Jackets (+) over Tigers- Streaking clubs that are moving in opposite directions clash in Atlanta where Georgia Tech has dropped their last three games will host Clemson who has won their last two and five of six. The Tigers bounced back after losing five of their first six ACC games but are still just 1-4 Su in true road games and 3-6 ATS overall away from home. Georgia Tech is 15-7 ATS on the season including 9-5 SU at home. The key factor here is the Yellow Jackets record as hosts going 19-8 ATS in their last 27 in Atlanta. Take GEORGIA TECH!

Miami at Portland 10:30 ET

heat (+) over Trailblazers- After a slow start Miami finally got to the break-even mark only to drop their last three all at home and are now 3-games under .500 while Portland has won their last three and six of seven as well as eight straight at home. These two met right after Christmas in Miami and the Heat got the best of the Trailblazers 120-111 as a -1.5-favorite but they are 0-4 ATS in their last four in Portland and the Blazers are 5-0-1 ATS in their last six against teams with losing records. 22-7 SU at home and 19-10 ATS. With the addition of Rodney Hood who will see more playing time than both traded players Nik Stauskas and Wade Baldwin will add more quality minutes on the floor. But, it is MIAMI!

St. John's at Marquette 8:00 ET

Red Storm (+) over Golden Eagles- These two met on New Years Day and the Red Storm destroyed the Golden Eagles 89-69 and are now 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings. Since that defeat No. 9 Marquette has reeled off eight straight wins going 7-1 ATS including 5-0 ATS in the last five overall. The former Warriors are 14-0 Su at home (11-3 ATS) 7-1 ATS in their last eight home games and 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games overall. St. Johns was routed by Duke 91-61 Saturday and look to rebound against a quality team that they know they can play with as they already handed the Eagles one of their three losses. It happens again tonight. Take ST. JOHN'S!

San Antonio Sacramento 10:00 ET

Kings (+) over Spurs- San Antonio who has won five straight is embarking on their annual 'rodeo road trip' where they play eight straight road games that span thru the ALL-Star break. Last season it was a six-game trip that saw the Spurs go 2-4. Sacramento has won their last two including an impressive win over the Sixers on Saturday and is a stellar 18-8 ATS at home while San Antonio is just 10-15 straight-up on the road. The Spurs had defeated the Kings 14 consecutive times (11-4-1 ATS) before their streak was broken by Sacramento in November. Kings rule here...take SACRAMENTO!

Denver at Detroit 7:00 ET

Pistons (+) over Nuggets- Denver has won six in-a-row and is just marching thru the NBA season racking up wins and are tied with Golden State for the best record (37-15) in the West. Detroit after a quick start to the season (13-7) has reverted back to form. The Nuggets back court has taken a hit as guards Jamal Murray and Gary Harris are sidelined as they won 107-106 Saturday night in Minnesota and are 4-1 ATS in their last four road games. Detroit has to regroup after blowing a 25-point lead to the Clippers on Saturday as they were outscored 64-36 in the second half. Look for the Pistons to bounce back with a complete effort tonight. Take DETROIT!

Los Angels Rams vs New England 6:30 ET

Rams (+) over Patriots- I had to get this out sooner then later because I don't want to be distracted by any 'October Surprise' so to speak. 'We' have been riding the Patriots throughout the playoffs against the Chargers and two weeks ago again at Kansas City. In both instances the 'public' was against New England and now their attitude has changed and 'they' are overwhelmingly on Tom Brady and crew. The speak I keep hearing is how Los Angeles shown't even be here or that they don't belong here. Well, guess what they are here and the Saints couldn't hold the lead with two minutes to go, so boo on them. The Rams come into this fray 4-0 SU and ATS in their last four while the Patriots have scored 78 in the past two playoff games and any team that scores 70 or more points in two playoff games as a favorite is 0-6 ATS. In Las Vegas the 'sharps' are buying the Rams every time the game moves to +3 as they are jumping on what they consider value as LA did open -1.5. I can't help it and I believe this is a really strong play for the most part because people don't believe the Rams belong. Take LOS ANGELES!

Houston at Utah 9:00 ET

Jazz (-) over Rockets- Last night 'we' posted Denver as 'our' Highest-Rated' Megabucks and they came though easily as the Rockets were grounded. To tell you the true I see the same thing over again tonight. This is the story of teams that have one player control all the action they can be flashy and win here and there at times but never on a champIons team (ie Westbrook, Maravich, the Big O) they just don't win. Add that Houston has had their runs and they are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games over all and 0-3-1 ATS against the Jazz in the last four meetings! Take UTAH!

Kentucky at Florida 4:00 ET

Gators (+) over Wildcats- It has been a bit of a struggle for Florida this season as they are 4-4 in their last eight while the Wildcats seem to improve each time out winning their last seven and 9-of-10. One thing though the Gators like getting ready for the spotlight when Kentucky is around as they are 3-1 SU and ATS in the past two seasons. The favorite has made the money seven of the last eight meetings but the home team is 7-2 ATS in the last nine. This could be a stinker with both teams playing such tough defense but Florida only allows 62.7 points per contest and can surprise late. Take FLORIDA!

Michigan at Iowa 7:00 ET

Hawkeyes (+) over Wolverines- No. 5 ranked Michigan has rebounded from their single loss at Wisconsin with three straight wins and are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Wolverines have been dominate in Big Ten action going 34-16-1 ATS in their last 51 conference games and are 22-8-1 in their last 31 road games. Iowa has dropped their last two games following a five game winning streak but is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings at home versus Michigan. This is just a good spot for the Hawkeyes to perform well. Take IOWA!

Xavier at Georgetown 8:00 ET

Musketeers (+) over Hoyas- Georgetown came up with the gams they want beating St. John's on Sunday as Patrick Ewing finally gets to gloat over Chris Mullins (believe me Ewing will NOT gloat over Mullins as he has always carried himself with class. Xavier has dropped their last three but it isn't like they didn't show up. Fighting hard they succumbed to Villanova 85-75 and then dropped a pair at home tp Providence 64-62 and faltering down the stretch in losing to Marquette 87-82 on Saturday. I really think the Musketeers here are they are hungry off of three straight losses and they have had great success over Georgetown winning 14 of 18 meetings including six straight Big East meetings. The Hoyas should return to character as they are 14-38-1 ATS in their last 53 home game and the road team is 7-2 ATS and thats enough for me. Take XAVIER!

Milwaukee at Toronto 8:05 ET

Bucks (+) over Raptors- The 'line' says it all to me. I just look at Toronto leading the East in wins, at home where they are 21-4 straight-up, with Kawhi Leonard healthy it doesn't matter to me who the opposition is I feel the Raptors should always be a 5-point favorite at home (excepting the Warriors). But, ya know what they are playing the Bucks who actually lead the East by a half-game who have won 2-of-3 meetings this season including an early December win in Toronto. They are also 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Toronto. Take MILWAUKEE!

Utah at Portland 10:30 ET

Jazz (+) over Trailblazers- The Jazz have started to put it together winning their last three and nine of their last 10 and they have the Trailblazers in their sights. Utah has won the last three meetings and are 14-12 SU on the road. Portland is one of the stronger teams when playing at home going 21-7 Su and a very profitable 18-10 ATS. The Blazers have won five of their last six and have won seven straight at home but their great backcourt is troubled as Damian Lillard was sidelined Saturday and will be missed. Take UTAH!

Illinois at Minnesota 9:00 ET

Illini (+) over Golden Gophers- Whoa, come on, not here, I really don't want to, but like Texas last night we must. Will somebody set me straight about this Illini team and I imagine that I will learn more tonight. I just saw Minnesota control and defeat Iowa Monday night while Illinois was shocking the Big Ten at Maryland 78-67 and have already ponded the Gophers 95-68 at home. Now most would expect the revenge factor to work for Minnesota but they off of a big home win over Iowa but that is not the norm. Minnesota is not only 2-6 ATS in their last eight at home they are 8-17 ATS in the last 25 versus the Big Ten. Add that the Illini are 21-9 ATS in the last 30 meetings. Take ILLINOIS!

Milwaukee at Detroit 7:00 ET

Pistons (+) over Bucks- Milwaukee just had a six-game winning streak stopped at OKC 118-112 as a 1.5-point favorite and they haven't lost back-tp-back games this season. The last time the Bucks were in Detroit they won 107-104 as 'the 'Greek Freak' was 15 of 21 from the field with 32 points and 12 rebounds. That brings the series record to 3-0 (2-0-1 ATS) this season against the Pistons. Detroit who is still an Eastern Conference playoff hopeful has dropped three of their last four but is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Detroit. The Pistons have had their ebb and flow and is looking get one over the Bucks. Take DETROIT!

Denver at Memphis 8:05 ET

Grizzlies (+) over Nuggets- After a fast start Memphis has returned to reality losing 21 of 25 and eight in-a-row before Saturday's 106-103 win over Indiana which may be bad news as they are 0-6 ATS after a straight-up win. Denver who is 22-6 SU at home have struggled a bit on the road where they are just 9-13 ATS and have already lost 89-87 at Memphis in early November as they have split the two meetings this season. The Nuggets are off of a pair of blow-out wins against Phoenix and Philadelphia scoring 70 points in the first half of both contests. Tonight, not so much. Take MEMPHIS!

Duke at Notre Dame 7:00 ET

Fighting Irish (+) over Blue Devils- I wonder if the beating the Irish took in the FBS championship has had an effect on the basketball team...nah. But, Notre Dame has lost four straight and is just 1-8 ATS in their last nine games. Although the 'Domers' are 10-4 straight-up at home they are just 4-10 ATS as hosts and were just blown out 82-57 by Virginia on Saturday. That loss will have them focused tonight against No. 2 Duke who is putting it together again. Still, at home with one of the nation's elite in town the Irish will show you their best. Take NOTRE DAME!

Washington at San Antonio 7:00 ET

Wizards (+) over Spurs- This seems like a very 'short' number for this matchup as Washington has struggled mightily on the road winning just six of 24 games straight up and losers of 18 straight in San Antonio with their last win coming in December of 1999. The Wizards are actually playing better of late without John Wall winning eight of their last 12 but are an atrocious 8-21 ATS in the last 29 meetings. But, this is not the same Spurs club by a large margin. This 'price' is suspect. Take WASHINGTON!

Michigan State at Purdue 1:00 ET

Boilermakers (+) over Spartans- Ya know a guy could have gotten rich or gone broke if they stayed with or played against the Spartans as they have won and 'covered' nine straight Big Ten contests this season and have won 14 straight overall. Number five on Michigan State's hit list was a 77-59 won over the Boilermakers three weeks ago as -7 favorites. Purdue has turned thing around winning their last four and seven of eight while going 9-0 straight-up at home. MSU has a pair of other trends supporting their side as they re of course 16-5 ATS in their last 21 and the road team in this series ins 6-2-1 ATS in the last nine meetings but the Spartans haven't won in Purdue since 2014. These two are so even that they own the Big Ten best recored the past five years MSU 60-21 and Purdue 29-21. This time it's PURDUE!

Golden State at Boston 8:30 ET

Celtics (+) over Warriors- Two of the hottest teams in the NBA if not the two best go at it in Boston where the Celtics will host Golden State. The Warriors have won nine straight and now have the addition of DeMarcus Cousins to add to their already powerful lineup. Boston has won five straight of their own entering this contest and will have a pair of veterans returning for this contest as Al Horford and Kyrie Irving are back in the lineup tonight. Boston always seems to be ready for the Warriors are they are 6-1-1 ATS in the last eight meetings. Take BOSTON!

Kansas State at Texas A&M 2:00 ET

Aggies (+) over Wildcats- Kansas State enters College Station riding a five-game Big-12 winning streak including their third win over a Top-25 ranked team Texas Tech holding them to their lowest out put in four years. while the Aggies have lost six of seven a and are just 2-8 ATS at home while the Wildcats are just 2-3 straight up in true road games. Although K. State leads the series 18-8 A&M is 7-3 straight-up as hosts against the Wildcats. Texas TEXAS A&M!

Marquette at Xavier 2:00 ET

Musketeers (+) over Golden Eagles- The fact that this is a Big East matchup still has me wondering how teams based in the mid-west are part of the Big East but Marquette enters Cincinnati to play Xavier this afternoon. The Golden Eagles lead the all-time series 50-24 but have lost nine of the 13 meetings since Xavier joined the Big East. A small favorite on the road No. 11 Marquette in just 2-4 ATS away from Milwaukee while the Musketeers are 9-3 straight-up ay home. Take XAVIER!

Toronto at Houston 8:00 ET

Rockets (+) over Raptors- Through the years in sports one man has never been able to beat a team of five players. Okay, James Harden is a scoring machine but that doesn't always equate to winning as his stats never lie but they can be very deceiving. Houston, has had key injuries that may have forced Harden to dominate the ball even more as none of his teammates have had an assist in any of his last 71 buckets. Toronto leads the East and defeated the Rockets in Houston in their last two visits but were 3-18 straight-up prior to those wins. The Raptors are just 11-14 ATS on the road while Houston is 15-9 ATS as hosts. Take HOUSTON!

Michigan at Indiana 6:30 ET

Hoosiers (+) over Wolverines- Michigan is off of their worst shooting game of the year but managed to defeat Minnesota 59-57 hitting just 34% of their shots. The Wolverines beat Indiana 74-63 three weeks ago and have won the last five meetings by an average of 14 points. The Hoosiers have dropped five straight but are 10-1 straight-up at home and are 15-7 ATS in their last 22 rod games. Michigan has dominated in Big Ten action going 25-9-1 ATS in the last 35 conference games and they are 21-8-1 ATS in their last 30 road games. Indiana is struggling but the underdog is 7-3 ATS and they should be ready here. Take the HOOSIERS!

Sacramento at Toronto 7:05 ET

Kings (+) over Raptors- Toronto has the best record in basketball and are 20-4 straight-up at home although just 21-27 ATS on the season. Sacramento who is above the breakwater mark is 27-20 ATS on the year and are 6-3 ATS in their last nine overall while the Raptors are just 1-6 in their last seven following an ATS win. After disappointing yesterday I expect the young Kings to rebound with a great effort here. Take SACRAMENTO!

Mississippi State at Kentucky 7:00 ET

Bulldogs (+) over Wildcats- No. 8 Kentucky is playing their best ball of the season having won their last four SEC contest and is off an 82-80 win at No. 14 Auburn. Tonight's game is sandwiched between the Wildcats win over the Tigers and a Saturday meeting against No. 9 Big-12 power Kansas. Mississippi State after dropping their first two SEC contests has bounced back winning their last two against Florida and at Vanderbilt. Although Kentucky is 6-1-1 ATS at home in the last eight meetings this is a better Bulldogs club that is 9-3 ATS in their last 12 road games. Wildcats are just 4-6 as hosts this season. Take MISSISSIPPI STATE!

Virginia Tech at North Carolina 7:00 ET

Hokies (+) over Tar Heels- When I first saw this matchup I became a bit confused as my first instinct was that North Carolina was the higher ranked team but this is not so as No. 9 Virginia Tech visits the No. 13 ranked Tar Heels. The Hokies at 15-2 broke a seven-games losing streak against the Heels in their last meeting at Blacksburg and that brings the all-time series advantage to Carolina 31-7. Tech bounced back after a 81-59 drubbing by No. 1 Virginia last week but rebounded with a huge win over Wake Forest last time out. The 'price' on this contest tells me the Hokies have a chance to win this game on the floor. Take VIRGINIA TECH!

Sacramento at Brooklyn 3:30 ET

Kings (+) over Nets- The two most surprising clubs in the NBA this season go at it in Brooklyn where the 24-22 nets will host the 24-23 Sacramento Kings. These two are virtual mirror images of themselves as the Kings are 11-11 ATS on the road while the Nets are 12-11 ATS at home. Brooklyn is 16-5 straight up in their last 21 games while Sacramento is 4-1 ATS in their last five and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall. This is one that may well come down to the final buzzer with the Kings getting the money. Take SACRAMENTO!

L.A. Rams at New Orleans 3:05 ET

Saints (-) over Rams- A pair of great offensive teams with the exact same record (14-3) will be playing in 'perfect' conditions but one of them with have a huge advantage, and that is a raucous fan base. The Saints at home have already beaten L.A. 45-35 the first week in November. In that contest New Orleans went off as an underdog (+1.5) and now the oddsmakers believe that they are 5-points better (by-the-line) now than then. I could talk of the experience advantage at quarterback and combine that with the Saints having won their last seven home playoff games six with Brees at the helm alone with the home team going 7-0 in the last seven meetings. One last thing to pee on the Rams, LA is 1-4-1 ATS in their last six against teams with winning records. Take NEW ORLEANS!

Oklahoma City at Philadelphia 3:30 ET

Thunder (+) over 76ers- It seems a bit odd that Philadelphia who is at home and have won three straight games and the last two by a total of 66 points should be such a meager favorite here. Oklahoma City has dropped their last two and have surrendered an average 130 points in their last six contests but have had the Sixers 'number' winning the last 18 meetings. Go for 19 today. Take OKLAHOMA CITY!

Kansas at West Virginia 2:00 ET

Mountaineers (+) over Jayhawks- Not quite sure what to make of Bill Huggins squad at 8-9 and winless in Big-12 play (0-5). Kansas would certainly be a contender with Udoka Azuuike at center but they have rebounded well in his absence and have reeled off three straight. The Jayhawks won all three meetings last season but hip hip for the Mountaineers as the home team is 11-3 ATS in the last 14 meetings. Huggins sez 'he's embarrassed'...they will play hard Saturday. Take WEST VIRGINIA!

Northwestern at Rutgers 7:00 ET

Scarlet Knights (+) over Wildcats- A pair of Big Ten also rans meet in New Jersey as Rutgers hosts Northwestern as both teams enter this contest with two straight losses. Both cubs enter 1-5 in conference play with the Knights having a 7-3 SU record at home while the Wildcats are 0-3 both SU and ATS in true road games. Although Northwestern has won nine of 11 meetings in the series Rutgers won at home last season in the only meeting between the two. The Wildcats are just 2-7 ATS in their last nine road games and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 Friday night games. Take RUTGERS!

Michigan State at Nebraska 8:00 ET

Cornhuskers (+) over Spartans- Something has got to 'give' tonight. No. 6 Michigan State has won 10 straight games since their overtime loss to Louisville including the last four without standout junior guard Joshua Langford and guard Kyle Ahrens for the last two. This will thin out the Spartans back court against a now formidable foe. Nebraska is 9-0 SU at home (6-1-1 ATS) this season and have won 20 in-a-row at Pinnacle Bank Arena. This is where the numbers get good as the Cornhuskers are 20-6-1 ATS in their last 27 home games while MSU has won 18 straight Big Ten games and are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games overall. To me the key factor here is the home court advantage and the vast improvement of the Nebraska program as they are 18-6 ATS in their last 24 versus the Big Ten Take NEBRASKA!

Sacramento at Charlotte 7:05 ET

Kings (+) over Hornets- Charlotte returns home after a six-game road trip going 2-4 SU while the Kings start their season long six-game road trip tonight. Sacramento has won three straight at home including a 104-97 win over the Hornets last Saturday and are 5-2 ATS in their last seven trips to Charlotte. The Hornets who are off of a huge win at San Antonio are 0-5 ATS following an ATS win and 0-4 ATS after a straight-up win. Take the KINGS!

Golden State at Denver 9:00 ET

Nuggets (+) over Warriors- The Denver Nuggets have the best record in the West a half-game better than the Warriors and yet the odds maker is having difficulty showing them respect. Golden State opened the favorite tonight in Denver and the hosts have taken exception to that. The Nuggets are 18-3 straight-up at home and the Warriors are just 8-12 ATS on the road. Denver is 4-0 ATS at home in their last four against teams with winning records and add that Golden State is 0-3-1 ATS in the last four meetings. Take DENVER!

Florida at Mississippi State 7:00 ET

Gators (+) over Bulldogs- Both these clubs are off to disappointing starts as Florida is 1-2 in SEC play and the Bulldogs are 0-2. Mississippi State was just upset by arch rival Mississippi on Saturday as a 6-point favorite against a team that had won 11 straightI found that confusing ('We' foolishly passed the Rebels). What I did post was the Gators as they fell short against #3 Tennessee 78-67. Now, here's the rub Ole Miss was 13-2 winners of 11 in-a-row and the Bulldogs ranked No. 24 with six and now Florida a meager 9-6 in just a 3-point dog. Florida must do it with defense as they score just 58.5 points per game on the road. Gators have won eight straight in the series. Take FLORIDA!

Wisconsin at Maryland 8:30 ET

Badgers (+) over Terrapins- Maryland has won five straight and will be hosting a struggling Badgers squad that is disappointing at 11-5 and are playing as a after losing at home in overtime to Purdue. The people in Madison were expecting this Wisconsin team to contend for the Final-Four and it looks now like they will be fourth in the Big Ten. Maryland (14-3) have built their resume by going 10-2 SU at home although they are just 3-8-1 ATS as hosts while the Badgers are 10-2 ATS on the road. Add they the underdog is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings give me enough. Take WISCONSIN!

Portland at Denver 8:05 ET

Trailblazers (+) over Nuggets- The streaky Trailblazers are at it again and have reeled off four straight wins while Denver off of a loss at Phoenix last night and still have the best record in the West. The Nuggets have won 11 of their last 15 and 11 straight at home and have beaten Portland four straight times including a 113-112 win at Denver on Nov. 30. What gives me the Blazers is that the last time these two met here before the Nuggets emerged with the best record in the West they were a heavier favorite. Take PORTLAND!

Nevada-Reno at Fresno State 8:00 ET

Bulldogs (+) over Wolf Pack- Nevada was 14-0 and cruising along at No. 6 in the nation and then went to New Mexico where the Lobos waylaid the Wolf Pack 85-58. They were fortunate to have scheduled San Jose State home and the crushed the Spartans 92-53 as a 27.5-point favorite. Now, it's back to the unfriendly road where they are 4-3-1 ATS while Fresno State is 8-1 straight-up at home. The Bulldogs have won their last three including a clutch 78-77 win at Utah State and are 3-0 in the MWC while the Pack is 2-1. The Bulldogs are 6-2 ATS in their last eight and will be looking to break a 3-game losing streak in this series. Take FRESNO STATE!

Tennessee at Florida 6:00 ET

Gators (+) over Volunteers- No. 3 ranked Tennessee (13-1, 2-0) rolls into Gainesville winning their last nine and covering their last three. The Volunteers like so many have loaded their schedule with home pasties and this is just their third true road game of the season with wins at Memphis and Missouri. Florida has split their pair of SEC games after a win at Arkansas and return home where they play their best defense allowing 60 points per game. At home the Gators chomp on Volunteers...Take FLORIDA!

Memphis at Miami 5:00 ET

Grizzlies (+) over Heat- At the season's halfway point the Heat are even 20-20 while Memphis who won only 22 games last season are 19-22 after breaking a six-game losing streak with a win over San Antonio last time out. Miami has been impressive of late defeating Boston. Milwaukee and Houston and have a win over the Grizzlies at Memphis in mid-December. The Heat are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and the Griz are just 1-7 ATS in their last eight road games. Still, look for the Grizzlies to get the cash. Take MEMPHIS!

Indianapolis at Kansas City 4:35 ET

Chiefs (-) over Colts- I think by now all have realized that Indianapolis has won 10-of-11 since their 1-5 start the best record in the entire NFL the past 12 weeks. Kansas City just hasn't been the same since the release of Kareem Hunt as they have gone 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games with the lone ATS win in the final game against Oakland 35-3 which makes me think that was their 'tune-up' game. Chiefs first-year starter Pat Mahomes had 50 TD passes and threw for over 5,000 yards and they storyline for this matchup is about Andrew Luck. But, the Colts luck has run out! Too much attention to Indy and I keep hearing how KC is 0-4 Su and ATS in their last four playoff games as host. Take KANSAS CITY!

Milwaukee at Washington 7:05 ET

Wizards (+) over Bucks- I just love these Milwaukee Bucks as they not only win for 'us' in clutch situations but they generally don't lose at all entering the night with the least amount of NBA losses this season win a winning percentage of 72.5 the highest in the league. Washington on the other hand is such a hoax and mixed of fractured egos that don't know how to play to win. They win quit at the earliest chance and for the most part don't play with any heart...unless they are an underdog at home. On the road they are a miserable 5-18 while when playing at home they are 12-7 SU at home. Now, they are getting points against a team off of a huge road win (yes, they are hot and playing great team basketball) while the Wizards have one of those addition by subtract deals...with John Wall sidelined more people get to see the ball and that gives them a chance. Take WASHINGTON!

Boston at Miami 7:00 ET

Heat (+) over Celtics- Boston was expected to be the front runner in the East but have not played at that level as of yet. Now, they are on a 4-game winning streak and are 10-games over the breakwater mark for the first time this season. Miami has dropped their last two after having won eight of ten and are 4-1 ATS against the Celtics in the last five meetings. The Celtics had scored 135 points and shot 57% in last night's win over Indiana and had 32 assists all season highs. After a game like that I expect there to be some drop-off in production for Boston. The Heat won 2-of-3 meetings last year and get the money again. Take MIAMI!

Houston at Temple 7:00 ET

Owls (+) over Cougars- No. 15 Houston is one of just three 'majors' that are undefeated (Virginia and Michigan) as they travel to Philadelphia to take on Temple who returns home to play their first game as hosts since Dec. 15. The Cougars have played their last seven at hone and this contest is just their second road contest. The Owls are 5-0 straight-up at home but are 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight at home when favored (which they are not here). Houston has had the best of this series as they are 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings but this is a spot for an Owls upset. Take TEMPLE!

Clemson vs Alabama 8:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Crimson Tide- A great rematch of 14-0 teams that both finished 8-6 ATS on the season. Alabama has won three of the last four meetings including last years 24-6 win as they allowed Clemson just 188 yards total offense although they are 2-2 ATS. In the meetings for the Championship two years age the Tigers defeated the Tide 35-31 with over 500 yards offense and the season before the Crimson won 45-40. This again may end up a classic as they are the two most talented teams in college football and the points are worth taking. Take CLEMSON!

Indiana at Toronto 7:30 ET

Pacers (+) over Raptors- This game has a 'funny' smell to it as the Raptors the team with the most wins in the league and off of a win at Milwaukee are barely a 1-point favorite at home. Indiana has been one of the hotter team's in the NBA having won six straight and haven't lost since December 19. Toronto is 15-4 SU at as hosts and yet they get co cred here as they have won the last four meetings an 10 in-a-row at home over the Pacers. Add that Indiana is 12-26 ATS in their last 38 visits to Toronto make this even more suspicious. Take INDIANA!

San Diego at Baltimore 1:30 ET

Ravens (-) over Chargers- Okay gang, which is the storyline that will remain prevalent in people's minds concerning this game. Will the populace be thinking that San Diego with Phillip Rivers who has the talent and 16 years experience to lead the Chargers to victory against the Ravens rookie quarterback who is better off running than throwing the football. These two hooked-up two weeks ago in San Diego and Baltimore (+4) won 22-10 as they held the Chargers to 198 yards total offense. One of the illusions of this contest is that San Diego has a more diverse (yes) and potent offense but, Baltimore actually has a slight advantage in total offense. There are trends to support either side as the road team is 4-0 ATS in last four meetings and the underdog is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings. But, they don't stand up to Baltimore being 7-0 ATS in their last playoff games including 5-0 ATS in Wildcard games. The believe the overall money will be too strong for the Chargers to over-come. Take BALTIMORE!

Utah at Detroit 7:00 ET

Pistons (+) over Jazz- This matchup of sub .500 clubs who have had disappointing season's to date. Detroit is off of a win over Memphis as they had lost 12 of 15 while the Jazz took care of business last night in Cleveland 117-91. That doesn't bode well for Utah as they are 0-5 ATS following a win of more than 10 points and the Pistons are 4-0 ATS in their last four games playing on two days rest. Although Utah has dominated this series winning the last four and are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 meetings in Detroit but, that was a different era. Take the PISTONS!

L.A. Clippers at Phoenix 9:00 ET

Suns (+) over Clippers- After a start that saw L.A. Leading the NBA West with their 15-6 start but have gone 6-10 since. The lack of defense has been the Clippers Achilles heel as is evidenced by the 76 points that they allowed 76 first half points to Philadelphia last time out. The Clippers have defeated Phoenix 10 straight times including twice this season once at Phoenix already 123-119 in overtime a game in which Suns leading scorer Devin Booker who was injured. Booker is averaging 29.3 points in his last 10 games and the Suns are 4-6 but have lost their last four. L.A. Is also 4-6 in their last 10 contests and are 9-10 on the road while the Suns are 9-11 ATS as hosts. Take PHOENIX!

Toronto at San Antonio 8:00 ET

Raptors (+) over Raptors- A reunion of sorts tonight in San Antonio where Kawhi Leonard returns to play against his former teammates after seven years as a Spur and DeMar DeRozan faces his former team and he should be ready to oppose the team that 'dumped' him in the trade for Leonard. San Antonio is playing their best ball of the season and have won 10 of their last 13 after adjusting to seven 'new' teammates. The Spurs are off an emotional come-from-behind win over Boston and have dominated Toronto at home winning nine straight and yet they are less than a bucket favorite. Take the RAPTORS!

N. C. State at Miami-FL 7:00 ET

Hurricanes (+) over Wolfpack- No. 19 N.C State has shown that they can play with the big boys as they have posted wins over then No. 7 Auburn 78-71 and have impressive wins over Vanderbilt and Penn State with their only defeat coming at Wisconsin 79-75. After a sluggish start Miami has gained confidence with three straight wins as they face their first ranked team this season. Hurricanes coach Jim Larranaga has his team 6-1 straight-up at home while the Wolfpack is 0-1 in true road games and as a matter of fact they are just 9-20 ATS in their last 29 road games. But the Hurricanes are just 11-29 ATS at home in their last 40 as hosts but the underdog is 10-3-2 ATS in the last 15 meetings. Take MIAMI!

Texas Tech at West Virginia 7:00 ET

Mountaineers (+) over Red Raiders- These two started the season in different positions as West Virginia was ranked No. 13 while Texas Tech was unranked and now, it is the Red Raiders who are 11-1 and ranked No. 11 with their only loss to Duke. The Mountaineers have struggled to keep their legs under them as they are 8-4 SU and an abysmal 2-9-1 ATS. Texas Tech is 2-6 ATS in their last eight road games while UWV has shown some life at home where they are 6-1 straight-up and have defeated the Raiders seven straight times to go along with 7-2 ATS against the Red Raiders in the last nine meetings. Take WEST VIRGINIA!

Utah at Toronto 7:35 ET

Jazz (+) over Raptors- Something is amiss here. Toronto who started the season 20-4 and still have the best record in the East but are just 7-7 SU in their a last 14 overall. Utah has struggled to date and is just 18-19 SU on the year and are just 1-10 ATS in the last 11 meetings including 1-4 ATS in their last five at Toronto. Part of the current issue for the Raptors is the absence of point guard Kyle Lowry who will miss this contest his eight in his last nine. Toronto is 0-4 ATS in their last four overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six as well as 7-11 ATS at home. Take UTAH!

Washington at Ohio State 5:00 ET

Huskies (+) over Buckeyes- Now, this is an amazing fact...the Big Ten and Pac-12 have had their conference champions play in the Rose Bowl every year for eons and these two clubs have played for the Roses 15 times each, but have never played each other. It has been a bit of a disappointing season for both clubs as early season goals were to get to the FBS Final-4. Washington blew their shot in their opener losing to Auburn so understood the entire season that the Rose Bowl was their best option while Ohio State received their disappointment late in the season and that is a key factor. Urban Meyer is stepping down and like Woody Hayes in his final game I expect the Buckeyes to go out a point-spread loser. The field 'numbers' say fade the Huskies but they came on strong at seasons end and get it done by winning the Pac-12 and get the win here. Take WASHINGTON!

LSU vs Central Florida 1:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Panthers- Now, this is one of the more difficult games to handicap as Central Florida remains undefeated in their last 25 games but will be without star quarterback McKenzie Milton who is out and will be replaced by freshman Darriel Mack, Jr. The Panthers freshman have the support of 22 seniors that defeated Auburn 34-27 as a 10-point underdog in last season's Peach Bowl win but this time they sneak up on no one. Here's where the 'rub' is on this game, LSU is ranked No. 11 and Central Florida (undefeated) is ranked No. 8 and yet the Tigers are favored. The 'public' has finally jumped on the Panthers but it's too late. Take LOUISIANA STATE!

N.C. State at Texas A&M 7:30 ET

Wolfpack (+) over Aggies- I 'loved' this one right from the start as I have seen some of this talent up front and liked what I saw. I wonder if the Aggies legs have yet recovered from their 74-72 seven-overtime win over LSU upping their home record to 7-1 SU and 6-2 ATS. I point this out to say that Texas A&M doesn't take well to the road going 1-3 SU 2-2 ATS and having played just four of 12 games away from their famous '12th man.' But, it is not the Aggies offense that will steal the show it will be N.C. State and quarterback Ryan Finley who led the ACC in passing with 3,789 yards along with 24 touchdowns. A&M will be shocked by the Wolfpack's receivers speed. Take NORTH CAROLINA STATE!

Indianapolis at Tennessee 8:20 ET

Titans (+) over Colts- The Colts coming galloping into Nashville riding a three-game winning streak and eight of nine and that makes this one easy as the winner is in and the loser is out! After starting the season 1-5 Andrew Luck and the Colts have shocked the entire NFL community with his and their performance this season and he brings a 10-0 record against Tennessee to the table. Luck is second behind Mahomes in TD passes (36) in the AFC and we know he will under center on Sunday. On the other side we are no so sure and I don't even know if it matters because Marcus Mariota has under 200 yards passing the past two weeks (combined) and hasn't thrown a touchdown in three weeks. The Titans have won their last four and are second in scoring defense 18-pts and have allowed one touchdown the last three weeks. Take TENNESSEE!

San Antonio at L.A. Clippers 10:30 ET

Spurs (+) over Clippers- The L.A. Clippers should have the memory of the 125-87 blowout loss suffered at the hands of the Spurs two weeks ago in San Antonio embedded in their minds. LA.s leading scorer Lou Willams was out that contest and his presence will be welcomed. The Spurs have won eight of eleven despite losing two of their last three and are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings. SA made a huge comeback last night after trailing by 22-points cutting the margin to one-point but the 'hoax' DeMarcus DeRozen made just 2-of-4 free throws in the final minute as they fell short at the buzzer. This time they complete the task. Take SAN ANTONIO!

Tigers (-) over Fighting Irish- I guess this double-digit price has driven more people than I expected to side with the points and Notre Dame. For the most part for the past four weeks I have heard nothing but, 'the Fighting Irish are imposters, they don't play anyone and they choke in big games.' Well if that is the case why do they have so many backers. Clemson of course had three players get caught with their hands in the cookie jar so to speak and will be suspended for the FBS tourney but I don't think it will matter that much. The Tigers are 0-5 ATS in their last five non-conference games but this one has more significance than all the others combined. Take CLEMSON!

5* Cardinals (+) over Wildcats- Sometimes these games just fall into a pattern and if you can see it from a distance you might be able to make some money. It's a four week scenario that has Kentucky getting crushed by Duke and then North Carolina beating Duke and then Kentucky getting up to beat North Carolina and now it's Louisville turn to shine. Very quietly the Cardinals are a more than respectable 9-3 with wins at Seton Hall and over Michigan State. Wildcats just 1-2 away from home and this is their first true road game. Take LOUISVILLE!

Chicago at Washington 7:00 ET

Bulls (+) over Wizards- The NBA doesn't mind these games between the leagues worst teams because one of these guys is forced no matter how bad they play to pick-up a win. Chicago is a young team that is looking to bet better on a daily basis whereas Washington is just a bunch of huge egos that just go through the motions half the time. The Wizards won 2-of-3 meetings last season but Chicago is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Washington and 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall. The Bulls will have an added boost as Zach LaVine returns and Chicago has more heart and will desire and wins here. Take the BULLS!

West Virginia vs Syracuse 5:15 ET

Mountaineers over Orange- West Virginia at one time was ranked in the Top-10 but as they do often they collapsed at the end of the season losing their final two games to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. The Mountaineers open as a virtual touchdown favorite but that changed drastic when quarterback Will Grier and their starting left tackle decided to abandon their teammates a save their soon to be pitiful careers. Syracuse won five of their final six games with that loss showing just who they really are as Notre Dame (Game of Year winner) crushed to Orange like they were making juice 36-3. West Virginia has had four weeks to prep and coach Dana Holgorsen says his playbook will be wide open as he uses two quarterbacks Jack Allison and Trey Lowe III. That will leave the Syracuse defense a bit confused. Look for the Mountaineers to suck it up and win here. The underdog is 4-1 ATS in the that five meetings. Take WEST VIRGINIA!

Miami vs Wisconsin 5:15 ET

Hurricanes (-) over Badgers- Both these clubs were major disappointments not only to their fans but to their 'backers' as well. Miami was sitting pretty the first week of October at 5-1 and then dropped their next four until closing with a pair of easy wins over Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh going 2-4 ATS on the road. That same week Wisconsin was 5-1 and then went 3-4 the rest of the way but just 3-9 ATS. This is a rematch of lasts year's Orange Bowl when Wisconsin won outright in Miami 34-24 . The Hurricanes are just 1-7 in their last eight bowl games and it seems a bit strange for them to be favored here. I figure 'speed kills' and the Canes have plenty of it and may leave the lead footed Badgers holding their jocks. The Badgers just haven't had it this season. Take MIAMI!

Denver at San Antonio 8:30 ET

Nuggets (+) over Spurs- The Nuggets have emerged as one of the better teams in the NBA West with the Conferences best record at 21-10 and are coming off a132-111 beating at the hands of the L.A. Clippers. Now, although Denver has lost 11 straight times in San Antonio I expect them to rebound here (notice how I worked the rebound in) and play the over-rated Spurs tough. The Spurs had put together a decent spurt winning seven of eight before their loss at Houston Saturday night but, I am just not so I'm pressed with the Spurs team make-up. The coaching may be the same but the personnel is not...take DENVER!

Minnesota vs. Georgia Tech 5:15 ET

Golden Gophers (+) over Yellow Jackets- The storyline here will surround the fact that Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson has stepped down and will be on the sideline for the final time with the Yellow Jackets. Johnson's triple-option has been among the NCAA rushing leaders perennially and as usual his team got better as the season wore on winning six of their last seven. Minnesota also needed a late push winning three of their final five to become bowl eligible including a final season 37-15 victory over Wisconsin. Although Minnesota will be with two outstanding defensive players they will overcome Tech's sudden attitude with the departure of Johnson. Take MINNESOTA!

Philadelphia at Boston 5:30 ET

76ers (+) over Celtics- Although tBoston beat me or shall I say 'us' up pretty good their last time out I just don't think the Celtics have 'it' this season. Granted, they now have Gordon Hayward full time but he hasn't been able mesh in the way the brass had hoped. Philadelphia has some meshing issues of their own with the addition of Jimmy Butler and sometimes they might need two basketballs on offense. This is a series in which the Celtics have had the upper hand going 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and are 4-0 the last for meetings in Boston including opening night a 105-87 Celtics romp. The Sixers have struggled on the road going 6-9 SU and 5-10 ATS while Boston at home is a mirror image at 10-5 SU and 9-6 ATS. But, I believe that Joel Embiid wants to make Christmas Day his persona showcase...take PHILADELPHIA!

Denver at Oakland 8:15 ET

Raiders (+) over Broncos- What a paradox as a team as 'dark and sinister' as the Raiders who will host this game in the 'Black Hole' on Christmas Eve. Oakland is in the running for the worst NFL record and the first draft pick and will be moving to Las Vegas (Stadium issues) but most likely will play next season in San Francisco. After rising up at home and defeating Pittsburgh the Raiders reverted back to form and were taken out 30-14 in Cincinnati last week. Denver meanwhile has dropped their last two to fall out of the AFC wild card hunt and will most likely end up in the middle of the pack. The home team is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and gets it done here. Take OAKLAND!

Chicago at Cleveland 6:00 ET

Bulls (+) over Cavaliers- These two clubs have are virtual mirror imagine of each other as they both share the NBA's worst record at 8-25 with the exact same home (5-12) and road records (3-12). It doesn't stop there as both clubs have lost seven of their last 10 and have little hope of much improvement this season. Chicago for some odd reason (considering LeBron played with the Cavaliers) is 26-9 ATS in the last 35 meetings including 17-4 ATS in Cleveland. The beat-goes-on...take CHICAGO!

49ers (+) over Bears- Having used the Niners last week as a Power Play Best Bet 'outright' winner over Seattle I have no problems coming back with them this week. The Bears are in the same position as a number of others that have failed in the same situation, the week after they have clinched a playoff spot (Rams, Saints, and Chiefs) they all were beaten and I expect the same to happen here. If a team isn't ready mentally it doesn't matter who they put out on the field and coming off a win against Aaron Rogers doesn't help. Chicago is 1-4 ATS in their last five games in San Francisco and this season all four of the Niners wins came at home. Take SAN FRANCISCO!

Baltimore at L.A. Chargers 8:20 ET

Ravens (+) over Chargers- There are a few what I consider 'key' factors that are supporting my position on the contest. To start with the Chargers have already clinched a playoff spot and that has been a death nil the next time out for teams that clinched I.e.-Rams, Pats, Saints and Chiefs all lost after clinching a spot. Just in general with L.A. Coming off ending a nine-game losing streak against Kansas City there has to be a feeling of satisfaction, inflated ego and contentment, all this plays into the Ravens hands. The underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last five as well as the road team 4-1 ATS in last five meetings. This will be a match of strengths as Baltimore will try and control the ball on the ground averaging over 200 yards since Lamar Jackson took over at QB. But, LA's strength is their rushing defense and Melvin Gordon on offense as well as a seasoned Phil Rivers at QB. The clinching in the clincher. Take BALTIMORE!

Milwaukee at Miami 8:00 ET

Heat (+) over Bucks- Two of the 'hotter' clubs matchup in Miami where the Heat host the Bucks who have won four straight including a convincing 120-107 win at Boston last night. Miami, meanwhile has lost their best player in Goran Dragic who will be out for two months or more and have managed a season high three-game win streak. After falling behind 10-1 to the Celtics last night the Bucks stormed back for their win and will be floating on 'cloud nine' so I don't expect full focus here. But, key here is that Milwaukee is 0-5 ATS in the last five meetings and 0-4 ATS in their last four in Miami. Defense has been the key for the Heat as they have held the Bucks to 88.3 points per game. Take MIAMI!

Kentucky vs North Carolina 5:15 ET

Wildcats (+) over Tar Heels- Without a doubt this selection will be 'against the gain' for so many reasons starting with Kentucky's 3-9-2 ATS record against the Tar Heels. Both No. 9 North Carolina and the No. 19 Wildcats are 8-2 with KU coming in at 4-6 ATS while NC is 5-3-2 ATS. Kentucky opened their season getting pounded by Duke 118-74 (the largest KU loss ever) and only a 1-point loss at Seton Hall is their only blemish since going 8-1. NC was 'our' Highest-rated' Megabucks winner last week over Gonzaga and this week they fall to the Wildcats. Carolina has a 24-15 series lead but the Cats are 5-3 since John Calipari to the reins. Take KENTUCKY!

Milwaukee at Boston 8:00 ET

Bucks (+) over Celtics- How things have changed in the odds-makers eyes since the 2018 NBA playoffs when Boston was pounding the rest of the league. The Celtics and Milwaukee met in last year's post season and Boston was favored by 5-points and now are favored by less than a 3-point bucket. This gets more of my attention as we see the Bucks are 0-6 ATS in their last six trips to Boston and 2-9 ATS in the last 11 meetings. With these obvious trends the 'price' should be getting larger not smaller. Take MILWAUKEE!

Dallas at L.A. Clippers 10:30 ET

Mavericks (+) over Clippers- After quick starts to the season these two are moving back to the pack as Dallas has lost their last three straight-up and are 0-4 ATS in their last four while Los Angeles dropped their last four, seven of their last nine and are 1-6 ATS in their last seven. The Clippers started 15-6 and were leading the West while the Mavericks had won 12 of 15 before their recent slide. Although the Clippers have won the last three meetings the Mavs are 5-1-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. After 10 season's in Los Angeles center DeAndre Jordan returns to the Staples Center with the Mavericks and The Clippers will be without Lou Williams again. Take DALLAS!

Brooklyn at Chicago 8:00 ET

Bulls (+) over Nets- Like I said before Brooklyn's win last night over the Lakers, 'Break-up the Nets!' They have won six straight games and are favored on the road for what seems like the first time since forever, This win streak comes on the heels of an eight game win streak as they are off of their 115-110 over the Lakers to go 3-0 on their home stand. Jim Boylen Chicago's 'new' coach is 2-5 since taking over but is pleased with the Bulls competitive nature although they have lost 11 of 13. With the way Brooklyn is playing along with Chicago's talent level the 'line' here is very shallow. Consider the Nets are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings makes this look too inviting. Take CHICAGO!

Ohio vs San Diego State 8:00 ET

Aztecs (+) over Bobcats- Okay, 'we' have some issues about this game with Ohio from the Mid-American Conference being favored. As it is, the MAC has had one of the worst bowl results than any other conference even worse than the Big-Ten and have already lost with Northern Illinois this time around. San Diego State who at one time was 6-1 has lost their last three and five of six and are 1-6 ATS in their last seven contests. The Aztecs were beset with injuries to key personal who have returned for this contest. Ohio who runs the ball for the most part will be up against the Aztecs defense that ranks fourth nationally in rushing defense. Take SAN DIEGO STATE! 

Dallas at Denver 9:00 ET

Mavericks (+) over Nuggets- Don't look now but it is the Nuggets that own the best record in the west as they have won 10 of their last 12 including their last three as they host the Mavericks who have dropped their last two. Those two losses followed as span of 12 wins in 15 games. Dallas is capable and although they have lost four straight at Denver they are a rejuvenated team this season. The Paradox is that the Nuggets are 6-0 ATS in their last six home games but Dallas is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. It's a spot for the Mavericks to buck the Nuggets. Take DALLAS!

Buffalo at Syracuse 7:00 ET

Orange (-) over Bulls- Boy, does this match-up have an odd look. Here, is SUNY Buffalo (10-0) undefeated and ranked No.15 while floundering Syracuse (7-3) is reeling after losing outright 68-62 as a 10-point favorite against Old Dominion. In that loss the Orange blew a 13-point lead and were outscored by 16 in the second half. Buffalo dropped an 81-74 decision at Syracuse last season and claimed that they had a better team. Well, they will not be able to sneak up on the orange tonight. Take SYRACUSE!

L.A. Lakers at Brooklyn 7:30 ET

Nets (+) over Lakers- Break up the Nets...Brooklyn in the '50s used to cry about breaking up the New York Yankees and now it is the Nets who dominate the floor winning five straight and ready to take on LeBron James and the Lakers. To start with we have to understand the NBA player's psych as they travel the country week in and week out. But , some times they only get to visit their favorite destination a limited number of times and the Los Angeles Lakers don't make it to NYC that often. New Orleans has already clinched the division and is battling the Rams for the conference lead. Carolina will close the season at New Orleans and will need to start here first. Sacramento at Minnesota 8:05 ET

Timberwolves (-) over Kings- Hey wots-up with this...I would think with the way Sacramento is playing not just covering the spread but dominating their opponents, the Kings have already won the first two meetings both In Sacramento 141-130- and 121-110 so this will be the Wolves first crack at them as hosts. The Kings have won six of their last seven with the only loss was bowing to the Warriors but are 7-1 ATS in the last eight and yet they are a heavy underdog against a Minnesota team that has lost four in-a-row. Sacramento is 0-5 ATS playing with no rest and they are off of a win at Dallas Sunday. Add the Minnesota is 4-1 ATS in their last five home games. If Smells like payback to me!...Take the TIMBERWOLVES!

Phoenix at New York Knicks 7:00 ET

Suns (+) over Knicks- With the return Devin Booker of the Suns have won back-to-back games for the first time this season following a 10-game losing streak. Phoenix who is 0-5 ATS in their last five road games will be without Trevor Ariza who was traded over the weekend but are 6-2 ATS in their last eight trips to Madison Square Garden. If you consider the points allowed (+3) for the home court advantage the odds-makers are rating the Suns higher than the Knicks. This 'line' would have Phoenix favored if this game was played on a neutral site. Take the SUNS!

L.A. Lakers at Washington 6:00 ET

Wizards (+) over Lakers- The Wizards have lost four straight and haven't won since their mini 3-game winning streak when the defeated such powerhouses as Atlanta, Brooklyn and New York. The Lakers after a slow start have won seven of their last nine and they are off last night's 128-100 romp over Charlotte where both LeBron James and Lonzo Ball had triple-doubles. That is the first time teammates had triple-doubles in the same game in 36 years. Washington just pulled off a trade and acquired Trevor Ariza from the Suns and he should help with their 3-point shooting currently at 32.8%. Considering that L.A. Is 12-5-1 in their last 18 meetings in Washington this line is way too low. Looks like a 'come-get-me' to me. Take WASHINGTON!

Chip's 'Guaranteed' AFC Game of Year (9-1 90%)

New England at Pittsburgh 4:25 ET

Steelers (+) over Patriots- Pittsburgh had a shaky start to the season opening 1-2-1 and then reeled off six straight wins to take command at 7-2-1. But, since then, they have dropped three straight and now hold just a half-game lead over the charging Ravens. New England of course is still steady and it took a freaky last play of the game touchdown to beat them last week in Miami. Tom Brady always seems to be at his best when up against 'name' quarterbacks and is 5-0 the last five meetings including twice last season and has 25 TD's and only four interceptions in 10 career games against Pittsburgh. Find and good, but, the Steelers are 8-1 ATS at home as an underdog off a loss. New England is just 3-4 SU and ATS on the road go down here. Take PITTSBURGH!

Seattle at San Francisco 4:05 ET

49ers (+) over Seahawks- Now let me step back and get a good look at this scenario. From what I've seen out of Seattle the past four weeks is nothing but wins and 'covers.' the Seahawks are 8-1-1 ATS in their last 10 games including a 43-16 beatdown of San Francisco two weeks ago at home. The Niners have struggled once again although they gone the outright win over Denver last week they are were 1-5 ATS in the pervious six. Then I look at the series between these two and see the Seahawks with nine straight wins and wonder why this line opened so low and got lower. With Kansas City up at home next week Seattle will get caught peeking. Take SAN FRANCISCO!

Cleveland at Denver 8:20 ET

Broncos (+) over Browns- Okay, here we go...I kept hearing that the Browns are closing in on a playoff spot despite their 5-7-1 record. A mighty improvement over the past few years as they finally dumped their 'dead-weight' coach Hue Jackson who is now helping with the dismantling of the Bengals. Denver is also in the mix after three straight wins but the loss to the Niners last week have them is dire need of a win here. A win last week for Cleveland was their third in four games but they have followed five wins by going 1-4 ATS the next time out. Denver is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings...take the BRONCOS! Boston at Detroit 7:00 ET

Pistons (+) over Celtics- Boston is riding a season high eight-game win streak as the enter the Motor City while the Piston have busted a valve and has lost their last six after a 4-game win streak.The Celtics have already defeated Detroit twice this season by and average of 11.5 points and the are 6-0 ATS in their last six meetings in Detroit. With all these trends the direction these two clubs are headed this is a 'bogus' line. Take DETROIT!

Gonzaga at North Carolina 7:00 ET

Tar Heels (-) over Bulldogs- Gonzaga has been impressive at 9-1 with wins over Duke, Arizona Washington and Creighton while their lone loss was to Tennessee on a neutral floor. The Bulldogs loss to the Vols dropped them out of the college top spot in the nation and Kansas moved in to No. 1. North Carolina has a pair of losses to Texas and to No. 5 Michigan. One thing that happens often in college or even professional sports is after a team has their 'mojo' disrupted it takes them a game or two to regain their momentum and confidence. Two season's ago the Tar Heels got the best of Gonzaga in the Final-4 Championship game 71-65 and will do it again as Roy Williams has criticized his team's effort of late and I'm sure they will respond here. Take NORTH CAROLINA!

Arizona State vs. Fresno State 3:30 ET

Sun Devils (+) over Bulldogs- Fresno State enters Las Vegas winners of their last three and nine of 10 including the Mountain West Championship overtime 19-16 win over Boise State. With seven wins and a trip to a bowl game most are surprised Herm Edwards was able to pull off a successful first season at Arizona State and they enter with four wins tin their last five. Normally, I'm concerned about the MWC's ability to stay with the Pac-12 but the Sun Devils have been a piece of cake for the inferior conference going 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings. ASU's leading receiver will skip this game and that will put the ball in the hands of All Pac-12 running back Eno Benjamin who had 277 carries for 1,524 yards. Take ARIZONA STATE!

Wildcats (+) over Jayhawks- No. 1 Kansas will host the defending National Champion Villanova Wildcats and are look for revenge after the 95-79 beating inflicted bu the Wildcats in last year's semi in the Final-4. Villanova is off a loss to Big-5 rival Penn their first loss in the series in 25 games and in part, the Wildcats issues in that loss might be keyed to the fact that they were looking ahead to this contest. Kansas is 4-0 at home but is just 1-3 ATS but will be without center Udoka Azuibuike and that will weaken their interior. Villanova is 15-6 ATS in their last 21 games and will come to play here. Toronto at Portland 10:00 ET

Trailblazers (+) over Raptors- Toronto leads the NBA in wins with 23 and are off a win against their nearest competitor Golden State (19 wins) 113-99 on Wednesday. Portland has dropped their last two games, 7-of-10 and after a 10-3 start is reeling as they have won just five of their last 15 games. The status of the Raptors Kawhi Leonard who has missed the past two games doesn't hurt the balance of this Toronto squad that is well balanced. Although the Raptors has swept the two-game series in each of the last three seasons they are just 3-7 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Portland. Take the TRAILBLAZERS!

San Diego at Kansas City 8:20 ET

Chargers (+) over Chiefs- Over the years we have had numerous opportunities make money in big games with the Chargers and they always seem to have fallen short. At 10-3 Los Angeles (Don't I mean San Diego) has become a formidable for for the AFC leading Chiefs. Kansas City is undefeated at home at 6-0 but just 3-3 ATS while the Chargers are 5- straight and AATS on the road. Although LA is 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings the road team is 6-1 ATS and it is time for Philip Rivers take up when it counts and show the young phenom Mahomes what a veteran can do. Take the CHARGERS!

Portland at Memphis 8:00 ET

Trailblazers (+) over Grizzlies- A pair of clubs off losses with Portland dropping their last two and six straight on the road (0-6 ATS) while Memphis stumbled at Denver Monday night. The Grizzlies after a quick start have lost six of nine while the Blazers have lost seven of their last 10. Memphis will have a hampered Mike Conley who injured his hamstring against the Nuggets is expected to play but his effectiveness is to be questioned. The Memphis offense has slowed down a bit scoring less than 100 points in five of their last six games. Take PORTLAND!

Colorado at New Mexico 9:00 ET

Lobos (+) over Buffaloes- The trends the surround this contest is urging this to be a 'no-play' and you will see what I mean as the Lobos are 0-7-1 ATS in their last eight against the Pac-12 and Colorado is 19-41-1 ATS in their last 61 games on the road. The Buffaloes are 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in their last five and while New Mexico has dropped their last two getting blown out by St. Mary's and New Mexico State going 1-4 ATS in their last five. The Buffs won (-7.5) 75-57 as hosts last year and I expect the most solid reason I can give is that turn-about-is-fair-pay. Nah, Lobos light-up 3-pointers tonight...take NEW MEXICO!

Portland at Houston 8:00 ET

Rockets (+) over Trailblazers- The Houston Rockets have lost seven of their last nine games and have 14 losses this season which is just three shy of all the losses they accumulated last season. The issue with the Rockets is no longer the presence of Carmelo Anthony but their lack of defense (29th) and meager contribution by the bench which is dead last (28.2) in NBA scoring. Portland opened the year with a 104-85 in a game they never trailed. Portland has won their last two after losing six of their previous seven and but have lost seven of the last nine meetings including the win this season. The Trailblazers have struggled on the road trail losing their last four and are just 4-8 ATS allowing 115.2 points per contest. It is time for the Rockets to take off and blast Portland here. Vikings (+) over Seahawks- A month ago the Seahawks appeared 'dead in the water' as they were under .500 at 4-5, but, they have managed to win their last three games to put themselves back in the playoff hunt. Even with their loss last night the Rams have the division clinched and Seattle is scraping for a Wild Card spot. At 6-5 Minnesota has a half-game lead over Philadelphia, Washington and Carolina and have alternated wins and losses the last five games. The Vikings have struggled against 'better' competition as they are 1-7 ATS in their last eight against teams with winning records. Seattle has won the last four meetings but Russell Wilson is trowing for a career low 226 yards a game. Take MINNESOTA!

Bulls (+) over Kings- This 'price' seems a bit too inviting as the Kings enter the Windy City favored by less than a field goal against a team that has on only six of 27 games and are off their worst loss in franchise history 133-77 to Boston. Sacramento has made huge strides this season with the addition of Marvin Bagley III to work with center Willie Cauley-Stein and shooting guard Buddy Hield. The Kings who are playing their fourth straight road game are 12-3-1 ATS in their last 16 meetings at Chicago. But, the Bulls had a closed door players only meetings after they were booed off the floor in during their 56 point loss. Bulls gore the Kings here. Take CHICAGO!

Bears (+) over Rams- A month ago the Rams were dropped for the ranks of the unbeaten by New Orleans and everybody decided that the Saints were the best team in the NFC. Well, three wins latter and Los Angeles is atop the NFC and has clinched the NFC West Division crown for the second straight year. Last week Chicago mounted a second half comeback against in New York but fell in overtime 30-27 to the Giants with Chase Daniels at the helm ending a five-game win streak. It appears Mitch Trubisky will be back running the Bears offense and will be opposed by Jared Goff. With the Rams having already clinched I believe that that believe they will be totally focused but I think not. Important game of Chicago who are 6-2 ATS against the rams in the last eight meetings and they are 6-0-1 ATS at home against a team with a winning record while LA is 0-3-1 ATS against teams with winning records.
