03-22-22 | Middle Tennessee -1.5 v. Abilene Christian | Top | 85-69 | Win | 100 | 10 h 58 m | Show |
Middle Tennessee State takes on Abilene Christian in this CBI Semifinals from Daytona Beach, FL. Winner heads to the CBI championship game against either Northern Colorado or UNC Wilmington. Mid Tenn State Blue Raiders beat Cal Baptist in the first round, 64-58, and then Boston U, 76-46 in the 2nd round, covering vs Boston and pushing vs Baptist. Mid Tenn State has been very good to bettors, going 22-6-2 ATS in their last 30 games. They are also 15-5-1 ATS their last 21 as a favorite. Abilene Christian Wildcats beat Troy in the opening round, 82-70 and then Ohio U yesterday, 91-86, covering both games. Both teams have good offenses, but I give the defensive nod to the Blue Raiders. The Raiders also have been so good against the spread. I am taking Middle Tennessee State in this one. |

03-20-22 | TCU v. Arizona -9.5 | 80-85 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 10 m | Show
The TCU Horned Frogs were next expected to be playing in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. They are 21-12 and they finished the regular season losing their last two games. They opened conference tourney play with a win over Texas, 65-60 before losing to Kansas 62-75. Then they opened NCAA play first round action with a win over Seton Hall, 69-42, as a 1.5-point dog. Now they have a much tougher task in Arizona. Arizona is 32-3 on the season and rolled right through the PAC-12 tourney to win the title over UCLA, 84-76 as a 2-point favorite. That makes seven straight wins for the Wildcats including their opening round of the NCAA win over Wright State, 87-70. That makes seven straight games that Arizona has scored at least 81 points. I don't expect this TCU team to be able to hold down Arizona's scoring today. I'll lay the points with Arizona. |
03-20-22 | Miami-FL +7 v. Auburn | 79-61 | Win | 100 | 6 h 23 m | Show
Miami Florida closed out the season winning six of their last eight games. Then won their opening conference tourney game over Boston College, 71-69 before losing Duke in the next round, 76-80. Still. They have covered four of their last five games and eight of their last 11 games. The Auburn Tigers rebounded from their opening SEC tourney loss to Texas A&M, 62-67, with a NCAA 1st round win over Jacksonville State, 80-61, as a 14.5-point favorite. The Tigers have not been good at covering spreads, going 2-5 ATS their last seven games. They are also 0-7 ATS their last seven games following a straight-up win. Miami might not win this game, but they have been very competitive and covering spreads. Play Miami. |
03-20-22 | Iowa State v. Wisconsin -4 | 54-49 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 46 m | Show
A Sweet 16 spot open to the winner of this game today as Iowa State takes on Wisconsin. No 11 Iowa State pulled a 1st round upset win over LSU on Friday, 59-54, as a 3.5-point dog. Third seeded Wisconsin just did get past a stubborn Colgate, 67-60, but failed to cover the 7.5 point spread. Iowa State has had a dramatic turnaround after winning two games last year and now heading to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. Iowa State has struggled on offense though, averaging only 66.2 ppg on the season. Wisconsin trailed much of their game to Colgate before rallying late for the win. Wisconsin finds ways to win and that's important in these games. I do not like this Iowa State offense as they have had some really bad games of late. I'll take Wisconsin here as they hold down this Iowa State team. |
03-20-22 | Michigan State +7 v. Duke | 76-85 | Loss | -115 | 5 h 57 m | Show
This 2nd Round NCAA matchup is one of legendary NCAA coachs in Tom Izzo of MSU and Mike Kryzewski of Duke. No 2 Duke had an easy win over CSU Fullerton on Friday, 78-61, as a 18.5-point favorite. Duke has now failed to cover their last five spreads while going 3-2 S/U. No 7 seed Michigan State just got by No 10 Davidson, 74-73. Michigan State has been very good this year hitting 3-point shots, 37.4% overall. Duke looking to push for that title in Coach K's final season before he retires, so some extra incentive here today for the Blue Devils. With two great coaches going here today I'll take the points with Michigan State. |
03-20-22 | Dayton v. Vanderbilt -3.5 | 68-70 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 7 m | Show
NIT 2nd Round action here on Sunday has Dayton taking on Vanderbilt. Still at home sites, so Vandy gets the home site advantage in this one. Dayton has won eight of their last nine games and beat Toledo in the opening round of the NIT, 74-55 as a 2-point dog. How the Dayton Flyers didn't make the NCAA I don't know and they will either run the board and prove how good they are or lose interest in a hurry. One injury that concerns them is Malachi Smith, who is questionable with an ankle injury. Vandy finished the season at 18-16 overall and in 11th place in the SEC. Vandy did play well down the stretch, winning four of their last five games and covering five straight and eight of their last nine. They won two games in the SEC tournament over Georgia and Alabama before bowing-out against Kentucky. I will be on Vandy here today with home court. Play Vanderbilt. |
03-20-22 | Ohio State v. Villanova -4.5 | Top | 61-71 | Win | 100 | 4 h 31 m | Show |
NCAA Second round action here on Sunday has 7th seeded Ohio State taking on 2nd seeded Villanova. Ohio State came out of round one with a won over Loyola Chicago, 54-41 while Villanova downed Delaware, 80-60. Ohio State struggled of late, losing four of its last five games before winning in round one. They held the Ramblers to just 27% shooting from the floor. However, the Buckeyes hit just one of 13 three-point shots in the game. Villanova won for the sixth straight time after round one. They held Delaware to just 44% from the field and 15% from 3-point arc. This game seems taylor made for Villanova. Ohio State doesn't have the height to contend in the paint vs the Wildcats. They also don't possess the shooting to dent this Villanova defense. Ohio State will have to rely on its defense to keep them close, but I don't see that happening against a very good Villanova offense. Play Villanova. |
03-20-22 | Houston v. Illinois +3.5 | 68-53 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 0 m | Show
NCAA 2nd ROund Action concludes today as Houston takes on Illinois for the right to move on. Houston beat UAB on Friday, 82-68, in the first round . That makes four wins in a row both S/U and ATS for the Cougars as they hit the 30-win mark for the year. Illinois beat Chattanooga, 54-53, after trailing most of the game to win at the end and advance. They didn't cover the 7.5-point favorite line though. The motto of this team is survive and advance and now they get to finally be a underdog today to the Cougars. I like Illinois because they have depth to the bench over Houston. Houston is predominantly a 3-point shooting team and you live and die by the 3's. I'm going to take the points here with Illinois. |
03-19-22 | Memphis +10 v. Gonzaga | 78-82 | Win | 100 | 11 h 1 m | Show
No 9 Memphis hopes to pull some inspiration from St Peters as it looks to upend a top seed here today in the form of Gonzaga. The Tigers got here with a win over Boise State, 64-53 last Thursday. Gonzaga struggled for bit but finally pulled away in its first round win over Georgia State, 93-72. Memphis looked dead in the water until it won 10 of its final 11 games down the stretch. They then added two more wins in the AAC Tourney before losing to champion Houston in the Title game. Gonzaga is the top offensive team in basketball this year with the best 2-point percentage. They face a Memphis team ranked 28th in defense. The Tigers have had an up and down season, but have proved they can beat any team on a given day. I'm going to take a shot with the points here on Saturday on Memphis. |
03-19-22 | St. Peter's v. Murray State -8 | 70-60 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 16 m | Show
15th seeded St Peters pulled the biggest upset of the NCAA Tournament thus far with their win over Kentucky in OT 85-79. Murray State beat San Francisco, 85-79 to set up this improbable contest here today in round 2. The Peacocks were a 18-point dog to Kentucky and improved to 20-11 overall and 14-6 in their conference. Murray State can punch their ticket the sweet 16 here today. The Racers improved to 31-2 and 18-0 in the OVC with their win over San Francisco. They also are a very high scoring team, averaging 79.7 ppg, good for 14th in the nation. They also posses the 25th ranked defense, holding teams to just63 ppg. This Racers team is very well balanced and while the Peacocks shocked Kentucky, don't expect Murray State to let that happen today. Play Murray State. |
03-19-22 | Michigan v. Tennessee -5.5 | Top | 76-68 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 21 m | Show |
NCAA Tourney 2nd Round action from Indianapolis, IN has 11th seeded Michigan taking on 3rd seeded Tennessee. Michigan trailed Colorado State by as many as 15-points in round one before rallying to win over the Rams, 75-63. Tennessee had it much easier, rolling to an easy win over Longwood, 88-56. It's still a shock that Michigan got an at large bid with 17 wins when teams like Drake were overlooked with 22 wins. Plus, Michigan got knocked out in the 1st Round of the Big 10 Conference tournament by Indiana, 69-74. Further bad news for the Wolverines is that they may be without guard Devante Jones who has a concussion. Tennessee just continues to win, now having won eight straight games including their SEC Tourney Championship win over Texas A&M, 65-50. They have covered four straight games and six of their last eight games. Michigan would have to play a perfect game here today to win against a much better Tennessee club. With Jones possibly out too that is going to be too many hills to climb for this Michigan team. I'll lay the points with the Vols. |
03-19-22 | Western Illinois +8 v. UTEP | 54-80 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 30 m | Show
First round action here in The Basketball Classic has Western Illinois Lethernecks taking on the UTEP Miners at the Don Haskins Center. WIU comes in with a 16-15 overall record and 7-11 in the Summit League. They lost in the conference tournament Quarterfinals to Oral Roberts, 80-68. UTEP lost their conference quarterfinal matchup to Middle Tennessee State in OT, 59-66. WIU had their highest win total in almost 10 years, though they faded down the stretch after starting the season 10-2. WIU is the 24th scoring team in the country with 78.7 ppg this season. UTEP can at least hit the 20-win plateau here with a win today. The Miners offense isn't nearly as good as WIU, averaging just 68.8 ppg on the season. Getting over seven points here today with a very good scoring offense is good enough for me. Play Western Illinois. |
03-19-22 | North Carolina v. Baylor -5.5 | 93-86 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 42 m | Show
Second Round NCAA Tourney action has an early matchup here on Saturday between 8th seeded North Carolina and top seeded Baylor Bears. NCU is off a blowout win over Marquette in round one, 95-63. Baylor also cruised to an easy victory in round one over Norfolk State, 85-49. Surprisingly this will be the first ever meeting between these storied teams on the basketball court. The defending national champion Bears improved to 27-6 with the win and were 14-4 in the Big 10. They hit 57.4% from the field in their win over Norfolk. Both these teams are very good offensive clubs. The difference though is that the NCU defense is not very good. Baylor is one of the better defensive teams in the nation. I will back the defending champs here as they have the more complete team. |
03-19-22 | IUPU Ft Wayne +10 v. Drake | 65-87 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 30 m | Show
CBI Tourney 1st Round action here on Saturday has IPFW taking on Drake in the early game. The Fort Wayne Mastodons are 20-10 on the season and 19-9 ATS. They will take on #1 seed Drake Bulldogs who are 22-9 overall and 9-19 ATS overall. Fort Wayne won their last nine regular season games before losing their tourney game to Northern Kentucky, 43-57, as a 2-point dog. Fort Wayne covered eight of their last 11 games. Have to wonder how motivated Drake will be here today, having to settle for a CBI bid when they just missed on on both the NCAA and NIT tournaments. The Bulldogs won five straight games before losing to Loyola Chicago in the conference tourney, 65-48 as a 5.5-point favorite. Drake is by far the better team here, but motivation does play a big part and Drake has no motivation to be in this tournament. I'll take the points with IPFW. |
03-18-22 | TCU v. Seton Hall | 69-42 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 6 m | Show
The TCU Horned Frogs got an at large bid into the NCAA tournament with a 20-12 finish and despite losing three of their last four games. The Frogs lost in the Big 12 Tournament to Kansas, 62-75, after beating Texas in round 1, 65-60. Seton Hall finished 21-10 and beat Georgetown in their opening conference tourney game before losing to Connecticut, 52-62. Still, Seton Hall finished out winning six of their last seven games and 10 of the last 11, which was good enough to get them in the tournament. Seton Hall will have a big advantage at height in this matchup. That will take away from the TCU offensive rebounding, which has been excellent. Seton Hall also has experience on their side, ranked 21st while TCU is 279th in experience. I like a team with experience and can control the boards, which is just what I expect out of Seton Hall tonight. Play Seton Hall. |
03-18-22 | Davidson +1.5 v. Michigan State | 73-74 | Win | 100 | 20 h 3 m | Show
No 10 Davidson takes on No 7 Michigan State here on Friday in the NCAA Tournament. Davidson hopes to break the one-and-done trend they have had in the NCAA tournament the last four appearances. Michigan State was 22-12 overall and started the season hot at 14-2. However, they slumped in Big 10 play, losing nine of their last 15 regular season conference games. They did turn it around in the Conference tourney, with a pair of wins before losing to Purdue in the semifinals. Davidson was 27-6 and had little issues in their conference. This is a slow paced Davidson team, so they play a very deliberate pace. That translates to top 50 nationally in 2-point shots, 3 point shots and free throws. They also rank 15th in the nation in offensive efficiency. This is a Wildcats team that does everything right on offense, including not turning the ball over. The defense isn't the best, but the MSU offense is very inconsistent. I'm going to take Davidson here today. |
03-18-22 | Iowa State v. LSU -4 | 59-54 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 17 m | Show
out of the Big 12 Conference Tourney in their first matchup to Texas Tech, 41-72. That loss followed losses to Baylor (68-75) and Oklahoma State (36-53). The most distressing is that this offense has really struggled of late and really all year as they ranked 277th nationally in scoring as well as 242nd in 3-point fg's. LSU got knocked out of the SEC Conference tourney in their second game by Arkansas, 67-79. That game after they beat Missouri to open the tournament, 76-68. Iowa State is 2-5 ATS in their last seven NCAA tournament games as a dog. This really looks to be a good matchup for LSU. LSU has the experience and with the Cyclones offensive woes I expect LSU to have little trouble advancing. Take LSU. |
03-18-22 | Chattanooga +8 v. Illinois | 53-54 | Win | 100 | 17 h 15 m | Show
Number 13 Chattanooga takes on No 4 Illinois in the NCAA 1st Round here on Friday. The Chattanooga Mocs were 27-7 overall on the season. The Mocs did great in the Southern Conference, going 14-4 in the league and winning the conference tournament. Illinois lost three of their seven February games and needed to win their final three games to share the Conference title with Purdue and Wisconsin. Despite being the No 1 seed in the Big 10 Tournament, they Fighting Illini were upset by Indiana in the quarterfinals. I expect Chattanooga to keep close here today and with the line around 8-points, that should be more than enough for the Mocs to get the cover. Play Tenn Chatt. |
03-18-22 | Virginia Tech +1.5 v. Texas | 73-81 | Loss | -115 | 15 h 4 m | Show
NCAA first round action today has No 11 Virginia Tech taking on No 6 Texas. The VT Hokies were 23-12 and won the ACC Tournament in Brooklyn, beating Clemson in OT, Notre Dame, N.Carolina and Duke to win the title and auto bid. Texas finished 21-11 and comes into this game losing three in a row and four of the last six. Va Tech got hot down the stretch after starting the season just 10-10. Texas started hot at 12-2 and finished poorly. Don't expect a lot of points here as Va Tech is one of the slowest teams in the country. They also posses the nation's 3rd best 3-point shooting team. Texas is also a slow team but its the defense that is the best part of this Longhorns team. We have the hot Tech team against the slumping Texas team. Can Tech continue that here on Friday? I think they can and I will take the couple of points they are getting. |
03-18-22 | Miami-FL +2 v. USC | 68-66 | Win | 100 | 14 h 48 m | Show
The 10th seeded Miami Hurricanes take on the 7th seeded Trojan of USC in the NCAA 1st Round. Miami is coming off a 23-10 overall record and 14-6 ACC mark. USC was 26-7 overall and also 14-6 in conference play. The Canes narrowly lost to Duke in the ACC Semifinals, 76-80, covering the spread. USC made it all the way to the Elite Eight last year before being knocked out of the NCAA tournament. Miami was a surprise team this year and are a team to not be taken lightly. USC struggled down the stretch an was eliminated by double digits to UCLA in the PAC-12 Semis. Miami has the better offensive unit and while they aren't getting a lot of points, we are getting a few. Play Miami. |
03-18-22 | Loyola-Chicago v. Ohio State | Top | 41-54 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 39 m | Show |
Early Friday action here in the NCAA 1st Round from PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA. The Loyola Chicago Ramblers take on Ohio State Buckeyes. The winner of this game likely has a date with Villanova in the next round. Loyola is no stranger to Cinderella runs in the NCAA tournament so don't expect them to shock anyone this year. This team has lots of experience with road and neutral games, playing 17 games on one or the other site. Loyola also comes into today's contest fully healthy. The Loyola defense is their backbone, ranked 29th nationally in scoring defense. They also rank 11th nationally in rebounding. Ohio State started the season red-hot, but down the stretch could only manage a 19-11 record and 4th place in the Big 10. The Buckeyes were just 5-6 away from home this year and 1-2 on a neutral court. I'm going to take Loyola here in what looks currently to be a pick'em game. |
03-17-22 | San Francisco v. Murray State -1.5 | 87-92 | Win | 100 | 22 h 49 m | Show
NCAA Tournament action on Thursday night has No 10 seeded San Francisco Dons taking on the No 7 Murray State Racers from Indianapolis, IN. These were two of the best mid-major teams in the country and it looks like the committee wanted to see which team was better in this head to head matchup. Murray State was 30-2 and had a huge win this year on the road over Memphis. One of their two losses coming to Auburn. The Racers sped through the Ohio Valley Conference undefeated at 18-0 including the tourney win. San Francisco was 24-9 at got the at large bid into the tourney. The Dons started the season strong at 10-0, but just 14-9 the rest of the way. They also lost all five meetings with WCC powerhouses Gonzaga and St Marys this year. San Francisco has a very good team, but I believe this Murray State team can go far in the tournament. Murray laying just two-points here looks like a bargain to me. Play Murray State. |
03-17-22 | South Dakota State +2.5 v. Providence | 57-66 | Loss | -110 | 16 h 16 m | Show
NCAA Tourney action begins it's drive to the Finals here with this early game on Thursday between South Dakota State and Providence. No 13 seeded South Dakota State Jackrabbits were 30-4 overall and one of the best scoring teams in college basketball. In fact, they had the 12th most efficient offense in all the country this year. They are ranked 1st in the country in 3 point FG% (44.2%). The Providence Friars will have their hands full with this offense. The Friars finished the season at 25-5 overall. The question for the friars is how will they respond after being blowout out by Creighton in the Big East Tournament. In fact, Providence lost two of their last three games. I expect a close game here on Thursday, but I like the Jackrabbits in an upset win. |
03-16-22 | Notre Dame v. Rutgers +1.5 | 89-87 | Loss | -110 | 46 h 35 m | Show
Another First Four playoff game with the winner advancing to the NCAA tournament has Notre Dame taking on Rutgers. Notre Dame went out of their conference tournament in the first game, losing to Virginia Tech, 80-87 as a pick'em game. Still, the Irish 22 wins go them to this spot with a chance. The Irish are a small favorite here tonight, something they haven't done well at lately. They are just 2-8 ATS their last 10 times they have been a favorite in the NCAA Tournament. Rutgers finished 18-13 after losing their Big 10 opening round game to Iowa, 74-84. The Scarlet Knights are 8-2-1 ATS their last 11 games as the dog. Notre Dame can't be happy having to play this First Four game while Rutgers is happy for the chance. I'm taking Rutgers here tonight. |
03-16-22 | Nicholls State +15 v. SMU | 58-68 | Win | 100 | 8 h 10 m | Show
NIT action here tonight has Nicholls State taking on SMU. Nicholls State Colonels was the Southland Regular Season champion with a 21-11 record and 11-3 conference record. However, they did lose in the semifinals of the conference tournament to Texas A&M CC, 64-71. SMU had to settle for a NIT bid after just missing out on the NCAA tournament with a 23-8 record and losing in their conference semifinals to Memphis. Nicholls State was the 20th highest score team in the nation with 79.1 ppg average. Yet here today they are getting 14 1/2 or 15 points. If the get their average that would mean SMU has to get 95 or more point. I don't see that happening against this very good Nicholls State team. Play Nicholls State. |
03-16-22 | Mississippi State v. Virginia -2.5 | Top | 57-60 | Win | 100 | 7 h 10 m | Show |
The Virginia Cavaliers host the Mississippi State Bulldogs in this NIT First Round game. Two big conference teams here as the SEC meets the ACC. No 3 seeded Mississippi State takes on 6th seeded Virginia. Mississippi State Bulldogs finished just 18-15 overall on the season and 10th in the SEC with a 1-9 record. The Bulldogs will also be without a key cog in Rocket Watts (elbow) as the Dogs have struggled without him in the lineup. We are used to seeing Virginia in the NCAA tournament, so some steps backward this year as they hit the NIT's. One big advantage I see here tonight is that the Cavs are 100% healthy. A deep bench will undoubtedly go a long way in this game. Virginia is the lower seed here, but they get the home game and are the favorite. Mississippi State doesn't win on the road and are 1-6 in their last seven games. Motivation will be key here tonight as I don't see Mississippi State having any in this matchup. Take Virginia. |
03-15-22 | Indiana v. Wyoming +4.5 | Top | 66-58 | Loss | -115 | 21 h 19 m | Show |
NCAA First four action here on Tuesday has Indiana taking on Wyoming with the winner advancing on to their tournament bracket. Indiana didn't win the Big 10 Tournament, but they came close, just losing to Iowa in game they led most of the way, 77-80. They did cover all three of their Big 10 tourney games - all as an underdog. Now today, here they are the favorite against Wyoming. The Cowboys lost in the Mountain West Semifinals to Boise State, 61-68. However, their 25 wins got them this First Four play-in game. The Hoosiers are playing their third game in five days, something they haven't excelled at, evidenced by their 1-7 ATS in their last eight games. Wyoming has done very well in the role of a dog, going 11-4 ATS their last 15. They are also 9-3 ATS in their last 12 neutral site games. I'll take the points tonight with the Cowboys. |
03-13-22 | Iowa +2.5 v. Purdue | 75-66 | Win | 100 | 5 h 10 m | Show
The Big 10 always closes out play on this Selection Sunday and they do so again as Iowa takes on Purdue for the Tourney Championship and automatic NCAA bid. Both of these teams will make the NCAA tournament, regardless of the outcome of today's contest. Still, bragging rights are on the line. Iowa trailed most of yesterday's contest to Indiana before pulling out the late win, 80-77, but failing to cover the 5.5-point favorite line. They beat Rutgers the night before 84-74 and Northwestern in the opening game, 112-76. The way this Iowa team scores, it's no wonder they are the top ranked efficient offense in the Big 10. Purdue is 27-6 after beating Penn State in their opening tourney game, 69-61, and then beating Michigan State yesterday, 75-70, as a 6.5-point favorite. They have failed to cover a spread in nine straight games (with done push). Purdue has the 2nd most efficient offense right behind Iowa. However, they are 9th in defense, which won't help them much here today against this high powered Iowa offense. Iowa getting 2.5-points here today. I like Iowa to win outright, but I'll take the points. |
03-13-22 | Memphis +3.5 v. Houston | Top | 53-71 | Loss | -105 | 5 h 55 m | Show |
American Athletic Conference Championship here today has Memphis (19-9) taking on Houston (26-5) for the Title and automatic NCAA bid. That last one more important for Memphis. Houston will be going to the NCAA tournament no matter what, but a loss by Memphis and I really doubt they get in with 19 wins when so many teams have 20 or more wins. That makes this game even bigger for Memphis. Memphis got here today with a win on Friday over Central Florida, 85-69 and then a win yesterday over SMU, 70-63, covering both games. Memphis has covered five of their last six and 10 of the last 12 games. That includes a cover a pair of covers against Houston on March 6, 75-61 and Feb 12, 69-59. They not only covered both but beat Houston straight up in both games. So we know they have the confidence to beat them again here today. Houston lost only five games all year and two of those to Memphis. They beat Cincinnati in round one of their tourney play, 69-56, and then Tulane yesterday, 86-66. For me, Memphis knows they can beat this team and needs to win to assure a NCAA bid. I'll take the points with Memphis today. |
03-13-22 | Texas A&M +6.5 v. Tennessee | 50-65 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 39 m | Show
SEC Championship game not exactly what many figured to see here today with a 23-11 Texas A&M taking on a 23-7 Tennessee. A&M had to win all three of their tourney games as a dog. They beat Florida in game one, 83-80, then Auburn in game two, 67-62 and then Arkansas yesterday, 83-64, as a 6-point dog. That means the Aggies have now covered seven straight games and got hot just when they needed to get hot. Tennessee also pulled out the upset win yesterday, taking down Kentucky 69-62 as a 2.5-point dog. They have covered four of their last six games. A&M getting 6.5-points here today looks like a gift to me. The Aggies just keep covering games and winning as a dog. I'll take those points. Play Texas A&M. |

03-13-22 | Richmond v. Davidson -3.5 | 64-62 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 10 m | Show
Atlantic 10 Championship has Richmond taking on Davidson. Richmond is playing their fourth game in four nights here today after beating Rhode Island, 64-59, VCU, 75-64 and Dayton, 68-64. This Richmond team has to be tired playing here today. Davidson has played two games in two days, beating Fordham, 74-56 and then beating St Louis yesterday, 84-69. Davidson has now covered six of their last seven games. I'm taking Davidson here today with the Wildcats being less tired of the two teams. Play Davidson. |
03-12-22 | Virginia Tech +6 v. Duke | Top | 82-67 | Win | 100 | 9 h 57 m | Show |
ACC Championship game pits 22-12 Virginia Tech against Duke. Tech won it's first tourney game against Notre Dame, 87-80, covering the pick'em game. Then last night they got the win over North Carolina, 72-59, blowing out the Tar Heels as a 3-point dog. Tech playing their third game in five days here but they have done well in this position, covering nine of the last 11 times. Duke is 28-5 after beating Syracuse in game one, 88-79 and then disposing of Miami Florida last night, 80-76. However, they have failed to cover their last three spreads. They are also 0-5 ATS in their last five games vs a team with a winning record over 60%. I like the 6-points in this game with a Tech team that can win outright. |
03-12-22 | Creighton +7 v. Villanova | 48-54 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show
Big East Championship has Creighton taking on Villanova today from Madison Square Garden in NY, NY. Creighton opened their tournament with a win over Marquette, 74-63, and then won last night over favored Providence, 85-58, as a 3-point dog. The Blue Jays have covered three of their last four games and are 7-2-1 ATS their last 10 games. Villanova is 25-7 and beat St Louis to open Big East tourney action, 66-65. They then beat U Conn last night, 63-60, as a 2-5-point favorite. Both games closer than the Wildcats would have like. Now they have to lay 7-points to a very good Creighton team. The dog has covered seven of the last nine games in this series. I'm sticking with the dog again here today. Play Creighton. |
03-12-22 | Texas Tech +2.5 v. Kansas | 65-74 | Loss | -108 | 6 h 28 m | Show
Big 12 Championship game here between Texas Tech and Kanas. Likely the loser of this one goes to the NCAA anyway. Texas Tech is 25-8 overall and has tourney wins over Iowa State, 72-41 and then beat Oklahoma last night, 56-55, as a 7.5-point favorite. The Red Raiders now playing their third game in three nights. Kansas is 27-6 overall and has tourney wins over West Virginia, 87-63, and then last night over TCU, 75-62, as a 8-point favorite. The Hawks are 6-2 ATS their last eight games as the favorite. Line just about 2-points on Kansas here. But I'm taking Texas Tech team in a small upset win. |
03-12-22 | Monmouth v. St. Peter's -2.5 | 54-60 | Win | 100 | 4 h 28 m | Show
Metro Atlantic Final here today from Atlantic City, NJ has Monmouth taking on St Peters. Monmouth is 21-12 after beating Niagara in their opening round game, 61-58, and then Rider last night, 72-68, covering both games. That snapped a four-game streak where the Hawks had not covered a spread. St Peters Peacocks are 18-11 after winning their opening round game last night over Quinnipiac, 64-52. St Peters has now won six straight games both S/U and ATS. In addition, they are 16-4-1 ATS their last 21 games overall and 10-2 ATS their last 12 games on a neutral site. I like the Peacocks here today. Play St Peters. |
03-12-22 | Indiana +5.5 v. Iowa | 77-80 | Win | 100 | 1 h 29 m | Show
Early action in the Big 10 Conference SemiFinals here today as Indiana takes on Iowa for the right to advance to the finals tomorrow. Indiana (20-12) has won its opening two games of the tourney on Thursday over Michigan, 74-69, as a 3-point dog and then yesterday over Illinois, 65-63, as a 5.5-point dog. The Hoosiers have pulled two straight upset wins. They are also 5-2 ATS in their last seven games on a neutral court. Iowa (24-9) beat Northwestern to open conference tourney play, 112-76. Then they beat Rutgers last night, 84-74, covering both games. Indiana will need to slow the pace in this one to stay close. The dog has covered five of the last seven in the series and that's who I'm on today. Play Indiana. |
03-11-22 | Colorado +10 v. Arizona | 72-82 | Push | 0 | 8 h 52 m | Show
PAC 12 Semifinal action has Colorado taking on Arizona. Colorado Buffaloes are 21-10 overall on the season and opened PAC 12 conference tourney play with a win over Oregon, 80-68, as a 1.5-point favorite. That win was their third in a row and eighth in their last nine games. They are also 6-1 ATS in their last seven games. They split the season series with Arizona, winning on their home court on Feb 26, 79-63, as a 9.5 point dog. They lost at Arizona back on Jan 13th, 55-76, as a 15-point dog. Arizona is 29-3 overall and coming off their first round win over Stanford, 84-80, but failing to cover the 15.5-point line. They are just 2-3 ATS over their last five games. They are also 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 neutral site games as a favorite. I'll take the points here tonight with Colorado. |
03-11-22 | Ohio v. Kent State +1.5 | 61-67 | Win | 100 | 8 h 8 m | Show
MAC Semifinals here today with the right to play in the Championship game tomorrow has Ohio U taking on Kent State. Ohio opened MAC play with a win over Ball State, 77-67, covering the 8-point favorite line. That win snapped a three-game losing streak both S/U and ATS. Kent State Golden Flashes improved to 22-9 with their opening round win over Miami Ohio, 85-75, covering the 6.5-point favorite line. The Flashes bring one of the longest win streaks into today's contest, now up to 13-games. They are also 10-2 ATS their last 12 games. Hard to go against Kent as they continue to dazzle with their winning both S/U and ATS. Plus we get a point or two here tonight. Take Kent State. |
03-11-22 | Miami-FL +9 v. Duke | Top | 76-80 | Win | 100 | 8 h 7 m | Show |
ACC Semifinals tonight have Miami Florida taking on Duke. Miami opened their conference tourney play with a narrow win over Boston College, 71-69, as a 8-point favorite. The Canes extended their win streak to three games, though they failed to cover the spread. Miami does very well as a dog, evidenced by their 21-8-1 ATS mark their last 30 games in that role. Duke is 27-5 overall on the season and opened ACC tourney play with a win over Syracuse, 88-79, though they failed to cover the 15-point spread. The Blue Devils are now 4-6 ATS their last 10 games. Miami plays too good as dog to be betting 8-points here today. Play Miami Florida. |
03-11-22 | Michigan State v. Wisconsin -3 | 69-63 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 58 m | Show
Big 10 Semifinal has Michigan State taking on Wisconsin this afternoon. Michigan State is 21-11 overall on the season and opened Big 10 Tourney play with a win over Maryland, 76-72, as a 2-point favorite. The Spartans have not been good at covering spreads, going just 4-8 ATS in their last 12 games. The Spartans are just 1-4 their last five games as a dog. Wisconsin is 24-6 overall and got the bye in the quarterfinals. That means they will have the extra rest going into tonight's contest while Michigan State had to play yesterday. The Badgers are 4-1-1 their last six games on a neutral court. I like the rest factor here with the Badgers and I will lay the three points. |
03-11-22 | LSU v. Arkansas -3 | 67-79 | Win | 100 | 3 h 8 m | Show
SEC action here on Friday has LSU taking on Arkansas. LSU is 22-10 overall and opened tournament action with a win over Missouri, 76-68, as a 11.5-point favorite. LSU hasn't done well on neutral courts, going 5-13-2 ATS their last 20 times as a dog at these sites. The Arkansas Razorbacks are 24-7 S/U and had a bye in the 1st round of the tournament. They finished regular season with a loss at Tennessee, 74-78, as a 5.5-point dog. Arkansas has been great to bettors, going 13-2-1 ATS their last 16 games. They beat LSU both times this year, back on Jan 15 at LSU, 65-58 as a 6.5-point dog. Then they beat them at Arkansas on March 2, 77-76, as a 5.5-point favorite. Arkansas laying around 3 to 4 points here today. I'll take the Razorbacks. |
03-10-22 | Iowa State +8 v. Texas Tech | 41-72 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 2 m | Show
Big 12 Conference Quarterfinals here today has Iowa State taking on Texas Tech in the final game of the day from T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO. Iowa State rebounded from their worst performance of the Year on March 2, scoring just 26 points at home to Oklahoma State with a good showing vs Baylor last game, 68-75. Even though they have lost two games, they are still 4-2 S/U and ATS their last six games. The Cyclones are now 12-5-1 ATS their last 18 games as a dog. Texas Tech Red Raiders had a fine season at 23-8 overall. They are coming off a loss at Oklahoma State, 51-52, as a 3-point favorite. That makes three straight cover losses for the Raiders. The Raiders haven't done well on a neutral court, going 1-7 ATS their last eight games as a favorite. Getting seven or eight here today with Iowa State is plenty for me. Play Iowa State. |
03-10-22 | Utah State v. Colorado State -3.5 | 51-53 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 56 m | Show
Utah State Aggies come into tonight's Mountain West Conference tourney contest with a 18-14 record. They won their last two games, though those came against the bottom teams in the conference in Air Force and San Jose State. They lost to Colorado State on Feb 26 on their home court, 55-66, as a 2.5-point favorite. Colorado State was 24-4 to finish the regular season. They have won their last three games and eight of their last nine games. They were also 5-3 ATS their last eight games. Colorado State has the top efficient offense in the Mountain West. They are 2nd in 2-point FG% (54.9%) and 1st in free throws (77.5%). Colorado State is one of the teams to watch in this tournament. I'll lay the price with them here tonight. |
03-10-22 | Vanderbilt +5.5 v. Alabama | 82-76 | Win | 100 | 10 h 36 m | Show
SEC late tourney action tonight has the conference last game of the Day as Vandy takes on Alabama from Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL. Vandy opened their conference play yesterday with a win over Georgia, 86-51, as a 8.5-point favorite. They have won three of their last nine games. The Commodores historically are not good on a neutral court, evidenced by their 3-13 mark their last 16 as a dog. Alabama finished the regular season with a 19-12 mark and got a bye in the first round of the tournament. They should be well rested here today while Vandy is playing their second game in two nights. The Tide finished losing their last two games to Texas A&M and then at LSU, 77-80, though the covered vs LSU as a 3.5 point dog. The Tide really haven't played well for a while. They are just 5-17-1 ATS their last 23 games and 8-20 their last 28 games as a favorite. I'll take the points here tonight with Vandy. |
03-10-22 | Mississippi State v. South Carolina +4.5 | 73-51 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 56 m | Show
SEC Tourney action has Mississippi State taking on South Carolina. Miss State was 17-14 to finish their regular season. They lost their last two games including at Texas A&M, 64-67, as a 2-point dog. They have also lost five straight against the spread. South Carolina finished 18-12 and lost their final regular season game at Auburn, 71-82, covering the 15-point line. They are 6-2 ATS their last eight games. They have also covered five of their last six as a dog. In fact, the dog has done great in this series, going 14-6 ATS the last 20 meetings. I'm taking South Carolina plus the points here today. |
03-10-22 | Northwestern v. Iowa -8.5 | Top | 76-112 | Win | 100 | 3 h 41 m | Show |
Big 10 Action here today has Northwestern taking on Iowa. Northwestern overcame a big deficit in the first half of yesterday's game to Nebraska to hold on at the end for the win, 71-69, failing to cover the 4-point line. They are now 15-15 overall on the season and are 2-4-1 ATS their last seven games. Northwestern is just 1-5 their last six neutral site games after their spread loss last night. Iowa is 22-9 and didn't have to play the first round on Wednesday. They finished the regular season with a 8-2 S/U record and 7-2 ATS mark. The Hawkeyes have done well on neutral courts, going 8-2-1 their last 11 games as a favorite. Northwestern was fortunate to survive last night. No such luck for them here today against a very good Iowa team. Play Iowa. |
03-10-22 | Florida v. Texas A&M +2.5 | 80-83 | Win | 100 | 2 h 37 m | Show
SEC Early action here today has Florida and Texas A&M tipping off conference tournament action. Florida finished the regular season at 19-12 overall. They lost their final game, 63-71, at home to Kentucky as a 4.5-point dog. The Gators were just 3-4 S/U down the stretch and 3-7 ATS their last 10 games. Texas A&M finished 20-11 and won its last four games both S/U and ATS including their last game to Ole Miss, 67-64, as a 2-point home favorite. A&M struggled a good part of the mid-season before heating up down the stretch. I like teams who come into the tournament hot and that's A&M here today. Play Texas A&M. |
03-10-22 | Indiana +3.5 v. Michigan | 74-69 | Win | 100 | 1 h 13 m | Show
Early Big 10 action kicks off their tourney play here today as Indiana takes on Michigan. Indiana finished the regular season 18-12 and lost its last two games including at Purdue, 67-69. They have covered three of their last four games. The Hoosiers are also 5-2 ATS in their last seven neutral site games. Michigan finished 17-13 and won their last game at Ohio State, 75-69, as a 6-point dog. They were 4-4 S/U and ATS their last eight games. The Wolverines are just 2-5 ATS their last seven games as a favorite. They are also 3-14 ATS in their last 17 games following a ATS win. I like the Hoosiers here today and look for an outright win. |
03-09-22 | DePaul +4.5 v. St. John's | 73-92 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 8 m | Show
Big East Conference Tourney action here today has Depaul taking on St Johns. Depaul finished the regular season at 15-15 and a loss to U Conn, 68-75, as a 10-point dog. The Blue Demons have covered five straight games and nine of their last 11 games. That includes a win and cover over St Johns on Feb 27th, 99-94, as a 2.5-point dog. St Johns was 16-14 to finish the regular season. They finished losing three of their last four games both S/U and ATS. Getting 4.5-points here today a bit too much to pass on with a very good covering Depaul team. Play Depaul. |
03-09-22 | Nebraska +5 v. Northwestern | Top | 69-71 | Win | 100 | 7 h 36 m | Show |
Big 10 Tourney action has Nebraska taking on Northwestern from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN. Nebraska finished the regular season with a 10-21 record. However, they did finish strong, winning their last three games and covering their last four. That included covers against Wisconsin, Ohio State and Iowa. Northwestern finished with a losing record also at 14-15 overall. They did win and cover their last game against Minnesota, 75-62, as a 6.5-point home favorite. However, they were 2-5 S/U and 2-3-1 ATS down the stretch. In addition, the Wildcats are just 1-4 ATS in their last four games on a neutral court. Northwestern laying 5-points here today and I believe Nebraska can win this game outright. But, I'll take the points with Nebraska. |
03-09-22 | Air Force +14.5 v. Utah State | 56-83 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 22 m | Show
Mountain West Tourney action here today has Air Force taking on Utah State. Air Force was 11-17 on the regular season and finished with a win over San Jose State, 58-54, as a 5-point favorite. Historically, the Falcons have done well on neutral sites as a dog, going 21-9 ATS their last 30 tries. Utah State Aggies are 17-14 and finished the regular season with a win over San Jose State, 75-52, as a 11-point favorite. They are just 2-5 S/U and ATS their last seven games. Utah State has not been good down the stretch of the regular season, especially at covering spreads. Yet, here today they are laying 14.5-points on a neutral court in Las Vegas. I'll take those points as Utah State should win, but they will look to conserve energy with more games in the next days. Play Air Force. |
03-08-22 | St. Mary's +12.5 v. Gonzaga | 69-82 | Loss | -108 | 9 h 49 m | Show
The matchup we all expected is happening tonight in the West Coast Conference as top ranked Gonzaga takes on conference runner up St Marys. St Marys led by double digits a good way through last night's contest against Santa Clara, but in the end didn't cover the 4.5-point line in a 75-72 win. It was the Gaels fifth win in a row. The Gaels are 10-4-1 ATS over their last 15 games. St Marys also beat Gonzaga straight-up in their last meeting on Feb 26th, 67-57 as a 10.5-point dog. Gonzaga is 25-3 overall and arguably the best team in the country. They had a huge lead over San Francisco last night (over 20 points), but let the Dons back in the game in the 2nd half and held on for a 81-71 win as a 14-point favorite. That made the Zags just 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games. Should be another great games between these excellent schools. However, I'll take the double digit line here tonight as St Marys has the confidence to know they can beat Gonzaga. |
03-08-22 | UT-Rio Grande Valley v. California Baptist -7.5 | 80-81 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 49 m | Show
WAC Conference first round here tonight has Texas Rio Grande Valley taking on Cal Baptist from Las Vegas, NV. UTRGV Vaqueros are just 8-22 on the season and are 1-7 S/U their last eight games. They are also 3-3-1 ATS their last seven games. Cal Baptist is 17-14 overall on the season and has won two games including last time out at Lamar, 78-66 as a 8.5 point favorite. Cal Baptist is middle of the pack in offense and defense. UTRGV is 10th in offense and 12th in defense. Baptist laying just 4.5 points here against one of the worst in the conference. I'll take that with Cal Baptist. |
03-08-22 | Wagner +3 v. Bryant | Top | 43-70 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 48 m | Show |
Northeast conference championship here today with a automatic bid on the line to the NCAA tourney. The Wagner Seahawks are 21-5 overall on the season and bring a two-game win streak into today's contest. The Seahawks lost at Bryant last week, 70-78, as a 4.5-point dog. They did beat Bryant way back on Jan 6th, 84-81, as a 8-point favorite. Wagner is now 8-3 AST in their last 11 games as a dog and 7-3 as a road dog. Bryant is 21-9 overall and has a six-game winning streak going. They have failed to cover their last two games and are 2-3 over their last five games. Bryant has the top rated efficient offense in the conference and the 4th ranked defense. Wagner is very well balanced, ranking 2nd in both offense and defense efficiency in the Northeast conference. They also have the top ranked 2-point shooting team (54.4%) and the top ranked offensive rebounding team (34.4%). Should be a great game, but I'll take the points in this one. Play Wagner. |
03-08-22 | NC State v. Clemson -4.5 | 64-70 | Win | 100 | 4 h 19 m | Show
ACC afternoon action here today has NC State taking on Clemson. The NC State Wolfpack are having a bad season at just 11-20 overall. In addition, they have lost four straight game both S/U and ATS and are 1-10 S/U and ATS their last 11 games. The Pack are dead last in the conference in defensive efficiency (15th) last in 3-point FG% (39.1%) and last in 2-point FG% (55.2%). Clemson hopes to bring their four-game win streak into today's 1st round game. The Tigers are 16-15 overall and have covered three of their last four games. They have also done well on a neutral site, going 9-3 ATS in that venue. I expect Clemson to make quick task of NC State and move on to the quarterfinals after today. Play Clemson. |
03-08-22 | Boston College -1.5 v. Pittsburgh | 66-46 | Win | 100 | 4 h 31 m | Show
Two of the ACC bottom feeders matchup in the 1st round of the Conference Tournament early here on Tuesday. It's Boston College (6-14) taking on Pittsburgh (6-14) from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. The BC Eagles are 11-19 overall on the season. They have lost three straight games entering tourney play. BC beat Pitt back on Jan 30th, 69-56 as a 3.5-point favorite and lost to them on Jan 8th, 67-69, as a 3-point dog - covering both matchups. Pitt is 11-20 on the season and has lost four straight games both S/U and ATS. Pitt has the 14th offense and 13th defense in efficiency in the conference. Two teams that won't go far in this conference, but today, the play is on Boston College. |
03-07-22 | Santa Clara +5 v. St. Mary's | 72-75 | Win | 100 | 12 h 34 m | Show
The number two and three conference seeds meet here tonight in the West Coast Conference Tournament. Second play St Mary's (12-3) will take on their neighbor, Santa Clara (10-5). The Santa Clara Broncos are 21-11 overall on the season. They have won three straight games both S/U and ATS. They are also 8-2 S/U and ATS their last 10 games. The St Marys Gaels are 24-6 overall on the season. They are coming off a huge win over conference leader and number one Gonzaga, 67-57 as a 10.5-point dog. That was their fourth win in a row. I have to wonder if that big win will have some hangover effect here tonight. The dog has covered five of the last six meetings in this series. That's what I will be on tonight, the dog. Play Santa Clara. |
03-07-22 | Northern Kentucky v. IUPU Ft Wayne +2 | 57-43 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 55 m | Show
Horizon League Semifinals down to four teams and the late game of the two has Northern Kentucky taking on Indiana Fort Wayne. Northern Kentucky Norse were 18-11 overall on the season and opened the tournament with a win over Detroit, 77-59, as a 4-point favorite last Thursday. The Norse have won four straight games and seven of their last eight. They are also 7-1 ATS their last eight games. The IUPUFW Mastadons are 21-10 and started tourney play with a win over Illinois Chicago, 78-72, as a 7-point favorite. The Mastadons have now won 10 straight games and gone 8-2 vs the spread. Both teams are hot, both teams can win this game. Fort Wayne has been a dog in both games this year, the teams splitting and winning on their home courts. Yet, NKU laying about the same points here (2) as they did when they played on the road at Fort Wayne back in December (2). I'll take Fort Wayne here on Monday. |
03-06-22 | Nebraska +12 v. Wisconsin | 74-73 | Win | 100 | 2 h 8 m | Show
Reason: Big 10 Action here today on the college hard court has Nebraska taking on Wisconsin. The Nebraska Cornhuskers won't be going to any postseason tournaments this year with a 9-21 overall record. That makes these last games of the season a way for them to go out on a high note. The Huskers have won two straight games, both as double digit dogs, to Ohio State 78-70 and at Penn State, 93-70. They have also covered three straight games. Wisconsin will be going to the NCAA this year no matter what, as they have a 24-5 overall record. The Badgers really don't care about today's game as they are coming off a big upset win over Purdue, 70-67, as a 3-point dog. For me, it's about motivation here today. Nebraska has it, Wisconsin doesn't. Play Nebraska. |
03-06-22 | South Florida +8.5 v. Temple | 47-75 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 8 m | Show
South Florida has struggled to a 8-21 mark this season. However, they have covered their last three games including last game against Memphis, 64-73, as a 13-point dog. They will face a Temple team that has fared a bit better on the season at 16-11 overall. The Owls are coming off a loss at Houston, 46-84, as a 16.5-point dog. Temple will be without a star player today in Khalif Battle, who is out with a foot injury. Battle averaged 21.4 ppg on the season. I will take the points in this game with South Florida. |
03-06-22 | Houston v. Memphis +3 | 61-75 | Win | 100 | 1 h 12 m | Show
Two of the top three teams in the American Athletic Conference meet today as top seede Houston (15-2) takes on 3rd place Memphis (12-5). The Houston Cougars are 26-4 overall on the season and bring a six game win streak into today's contest. They are coming off a blowout win over Temple, 84-46, as a 16.5-point favorite. Memphis is 18-9 overall and likely in need of more wins to make the NCAA tournament. They have won three straight games and nine of their last 10 overall. Their only loss in the last 10 coming to SMU on Feb 20th. They have also done well covering the spread, evidenced by their 7-2 mark their last 10 games. Memphis getting a few points here at home today and I think they have more incentive to win this game. Take Memphis. |
03-05-22 | San Diego State -3.5 v. Nevada | 79-78 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 12 m | Show
Late Mountain West action here on the college slate tonight has San Diego State taking on Nevada. The Sdg State Aztecs another of those Mountain West teams with 20 wins. Knowing the NCAA won't take them all, these last few games become big. San Diego State is 20-7 overall and has won three straight games and eight of their last nine games. They have also covered five of their last six games. Nevada having one of their worst seasons in recent memory at just 12-16 on the season. The Wolfpack have lost three straight games after winning three straight. They are also 4-8 ATS their last 12 games. Don't see a lot of incentive for the Wolfpack here tonight. However, the Aztecs do have incentive if they want to make the NCAA tournament. Play San Diego State. |
03-05-22 | Iowa State +12.5 v. Baylor | 68-75 | Win | 100 | 6 h 23 m | Show
Big 12 action as they get ready to head into conference tourney play. Iowa State is coming off a loss at home to Oklahoma State, 36-53, as a 4-point favorite. They had their lowest scoring output of the season and hit just 28% of 2-point field goals and 11.8% of 3-point field goals. The Baylor Bears are 25-5 on the season and have won four straight since their loss to Texas Tech on Feb 16th. They are coming off a win at Texas, 68-61, as a 1-point favorite. Have to believe Iowa State will be plenty upset after their last performance. While I don't expect them to win outright, I do expect them to cover the double digit dog line today. Play Iowa State. |
03-05-22 | VCU +2.5 v. St. Louis | 65-69 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 23 m | Show
The VCU Rams one of those teams with 21 wins on the season and that means they need a few more wins or to win their conference tournament. The Rams are 21-7 overall and are on a eight game win streak. They are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games. The Saint Louis Billikens are 20-10 and in the same boat as VCU. The Billikens are just 3-4 S/U and 3-3-1 ATS their last seven games. Both teams are good, but VCU is on the winning streak and St Louis is floundering a bit. I'll take VCU. |
03-05-22 | Texas +6.5 v. Kansas | 63-70 | Loss | -109 | 4 h 11 m | Show
Big 12 action here today has Texas traveling to Kansas to take on the Jayhawks. Texas is 21-9 on the season and while there are a lot of 20+ win teams in college, Texas by their conference and pedigree likely gets an NCAA bid no matter what happens rest of the way. Texas is coming off a loss at home to Baylor, 61-68, as a 1-point dog. That loss snapped a two game win streak for the Horns. Kansas 24-6 definitely will be a high seeded NCAA team come tourney time. The Jayhawks are just 1-2 S/U and 0-3 in their last three games, so they are not finishing very strong. They are coming off a win over TCU, 72-68, but failed to cover the 11.5-point line. Both teams don't need this game to make the NCAA, but Texas might want it a bit more. They are getting 6.5-points which I believe is a bit too much. Play Texas. |
03-05-22 | Fresno State v. Wyoming -4 | 64-68 | Push | 0 | 4 h 59 m | Show
Fresno State still at 20 wins after losing last games at San Diego State, 64-65, as a 7.5-point dog. The Bulldogs are 20-11 and might not make the NCAA tournament without a very good showing in the Mountain West Tournament. They are just 2-5 S/U and ATS their last seven games. Wyoming should make the NCAA with their 23-7 record, though it's not for sure so they need to win all the games they can. They are coming off a pair of losses, their first home loss of the season to San Diego State, 66-73, and then losing at UNLV, 57-64, as a 1.5-point dog. It's imperative that the Cowboys get back on the winning track today and that I believe will happen back at home. Play Wyoming |
03-05-22 | La Salle -1 v. Duquesne | Top | 85-76 | Win | 100 | 3 h 10 m | Show |
LaSalle 9-18 on the season but brings a 2-game win streak into today's contest at Duquesne. The Explorers are coming off a win over St Joe's 49-48 as a 1.5-point dog. Duquesne Dukes likely playing their last game of the season here today at just 6-22 and no postseason prospects. The Dukes are coming off a loss to George Washington, 93-98 as a 7-point dog. That was only their 1st cover in their last six games and third cover in their last 15 games. Duquesne is the worst team in the conference and one of if not the worst in college basketball. I'll take Lasalle here today. |
03-05-22 | Miami-FL +1.5 v. Syracuse | 75-72 | Win | 100 | 2 h 51 m | Show
Reason: Miami Florida hoping they can get into the NCAA tournament without winning their conference tourney that comes up soon. The Canes are 21-9 and are right there. So today's game at Syracuse means a lot to them for the NCAA push. The Canes are coming off a win at Boston College last time out, 81-70, as a 4-point favorite. They have covered five of their last seven games. Syracuse just 15-15 on the season and likely set for a minor postseason tourney. The Orange have lost three straight games and are 1-5 ATS their last six games. They are coming off a loss at North Carolina, 79-88, as a 8.5-point dog. With Miami a small dog here today and likely gaining a lot of benefit from a win, I'll back the Canes. |
03-05-22 | Davidson v. Dayton -3.5 | 76-82 | Win | 100 | 1 h 21 m | Show
Davidson looks like they have punched their ticket to the NCAA tournament with a 25-4 overall record. They have won five straight games including last game vs George Washington, 73-62, as a 7-point favorite. Dayton looks like more of a bubble team at 21-9. They are coming off a win over Richmond, 55-53, as a 2-point road dog. Dayton needs this one more. I'll take the Flyers minus the small number. |
03-05-22 | Alabama v. LSU -3 | 77-80 | Push | 0 | 1 h 51 m | Show
SEC action here today has Alabama taking on LSU. Bama is 19-11 and likely one of those bubble teams as we head toward the NCAA tourament. They are coming off a loss to Texas A&M, 71-87 as a 10-point favorite, totally dropping the ball in that game. Still, they have won five of their last seven games. LSU is 20-10 and likely in the same spot as Bama. The Tigers have lost three of their last four games including last game at Arkansas, 76-77, as a 5.5-point dog. LSU back on home turf here today and laying a small number. I'll take the hosts in this one. |
03-04-22 | SE Missouri State +15.5 v. Murray State | 74-88 | Win | 100 | 8 h 3 m | Show
Ohio Valley Conference 2nd Round action here tonight has SE Missouri State taking on Murray State. SE Missouri State Redhawks started the first round with a win last night over Tennessee State, 79-55 as a 2-point favorite. They held Tennessee State to just 8.3% from 3-point field goals. SE MO State has the league's 3rd ranked offensive efficient team. They rank first in 3-point field goals (36.4%) and did just that last night, hitting 36.7% vs Tennessee State. Murray State was 28-2 in the regular season and was the best in the conference. They start conference tourney play here tonight against the team they ended the regular season playing. These teams met just last week with SE MO State losing a close one, 68-70, as a 11.5-point dog. Murray is the best team in the conference, but 15 points to a very good 3-point shooting team like SE MO State is just too much. I like SE MO State and I believe their 3-point shooting will be what covers this game for them. Play SE Missouri State. |
03-04-22 | Bradley +6 v. Loyola-Chicago | 50-66 | Loss | -115 | 4 h 28 m | Show
Missouri Valley Semifinals here today from Enterprise Center in St, Louis Missouri. Bradley finished the regular season 17-13 S/U and 17-12 ATS. They finished with a win over Valparaiso, 79-55, as a 10.5 point home favorite. They won five of their last seven games down the stretch. The Braves have done well on neutral sites, going 8-2 ATS in their last 10. Loyola Chicago Ramblers are 22-7 and lost their last regular season game at Northern Iowa, 96-102, as a 2-point favorite. Loyola is now 2-5 ATS in their last seven games. Bradley had the 1st ranked efficient defense in the Conference this year, ranking 1st in 3-point field goal% (31.9) and 4th in 2-point fG% (48.7). I'll take the big points here today with Bradley. |
03-03-22 | Evansville v. Valparaiso -5 | Top | 59-81 | Win | 100 | 22 h 47 m | Show |
Missouri Valley Conference Tourney 1st Round action here today from Enterprise Center, St Louis, MO. Evansville likely an early exit here and their season will be done at just 6-23 thus far. The Aces have lost seven straight games and are 2-3 ATS in their last five games. The Aces rank last in efficiency in the conference in both offense and defense. They have the worst 2-point shooting team (43.5%) and the worst defensive 2-point team (58.1%). Valparaiso is 13-17 on the season and has lost two straight games. The Crusaders have played three games on a neutral court this year, going 2-1 both S/U and ATS. Both teams in the bottom portion of the conference. However, the Aces are the worst and they should lay over today and take the early out. Play Valpariso. |
03-03-22 | Illinois-Chicago v. IUPU Ft Wayne -5.5 | 72-78 | Win | 100 | 19 h 18 m | Show
The Illinois Chicago Flames are 14-15 this season overall as we enter Horizon League Play. The Flames have won four straight games and are 3-1 ATS. The Flames have the 8th ranked offense and 10th ranked defense in the conference. They give up a conference high 38.2% 3-point shots. Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne is 20-10 and have a nine game winning streak. They have also covered six straight games and eight of their last nine games. The Mastadons have the best defensive efficiency in the conference. They also have the best 3-point shooting team at 38.1%. Couple that with the Ill Chicago terrible 3-point defense and this looks a key spot for IPFW. Take the Mastadons here today. |
03-03-22 | Oakland +4.5 v. Wright State | 63-75 | Loss | -115 | 7 h 4 m | Show
Horizon League Quarterfinals here tonight has Oakland taking on Wright State here tonight. The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are 20-11 on the season and have won their last two games. They are coming off a win over IUPUI, 69-58, but failed to cover the 23.5 point spread. The Grizzlies have a well balanced team, ranked fourth in both offensive and defensive efficiency in the Horizon League. They have the top free throw shooting team in the league (80.1%) and the best 3-point defense in the league (30.8%). Wright State is 18-13 on the season and have won their last two games, including last time out vs Robert Morris, 71-61, as a 12.5 point favorite. I'll take Oakland plus the points here tonight. |
03-02-22 | Miami-FL -4 v. Boston College | 81-70 | Win | 100 | 9 h 38 m | Show
ACC action here today as we close out the regular season and teams ready for their tournament. Miami Florida is 4th in the conference with a 12-6 record. They will face 11th seeded Boston College who is 6-12 on the season. Miami Hurricanes are 20-9 overall and look like a good bet to make the NCAA either way. They are coming off a loss to Virginia Tech, 70-71, as a 1-point favorite. The Canes are 8-5 ATS their last 13 games. The Canes have been good on the road, covering seven of their last eight away games. Boston College is 11-17 overall and is coming off a loss to Clemson, 60-70, as a pick'em. They are now 2-6 S/U their last eight games. Miami only laying four points here today. Feeling is they want to secure every win possible to solidify that NCAA bid. Play Miami. |
03-02-22 | SIU-Edwardsville v. Tennessee State -3.5 | Top | 62-77 | Win | 100 | 7 h 9 m | Show |
Ohio Valley First Round tourney action here today has SIU Edwardsville taking on Tennessee State from the Ford Center in Evansville, IN. The SIU Cougars are coming off a win over Morehead State, 77-70, as a 10.5-point dog. They are 2-3 S/U their last five games and 5-2 ATS their last seven games. The Cougars have the 8th ranked efficient offense in the conference. They are also 8th in 3-point percentage (31.2) and 7th in 2-point percentage (47.2). Tennessee State is coming off a loss at Belmont, 67-87, as a 16-point dog. The Tigers had covered six straight before that spread loss to Belmont. The Cougars are 6th in both offense and defensive efficiency in the conference. They have the top free throw shooting team (74.1%) and that can help cover these spreads late in the game. I'll take the Cougars here today as they have the better balanced team. |
03-02-22 | Duquesne v. George Washington -6.5 | 93-98 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 39 m | Show
Duquesne looks to put away this season and forget about it after a dismal 6-21 record. They are also 0-14 S/U and 2-12 ATS their last 14 games. They have almost no offense, scoring more than 59 points just three times in their last 13 games. In the Kenpom efficiency ratings they are dead last in the conference in offense. They are also last in both 3-point and 2-point shooting. George Washington isn't having a good season either with just a 11-16 overall record. The Colonials have lost two straight games but have split their last eight at 4-4. They are also 6-2 ATS in their last eight games. Neither team is very good, however with GW having Senior Honors here tonight at homecoming the atmosphere will be inclined toward a GW blowout win. Play George Washington. |
03-02-22 | Notre Dame -2 v. Florida State | 70-74 | Loss | -117 | 7 h 38 m | Show
Notre Dame sits second in the ACC with a 14-4 record and 21-8 overall mark after winning their last two games. They will take on 9th place Florida State which is 8-10 in conference and 15-13 overall. Notre Dame has won two straight and seven of their last eight games. They are also 6-2 ATS their last eight. The Irish have also covered their last five road games. Florida State won its last game at Virginia, upsetting the Cavs 64-63, as a 8.5-point dog. Still, they are just 2-8 S/U and 1-9 ATS their last 10 games. Take Notre Dame here today. |
03-01-22 | St Bonaventure v. VCU -4.5 | 51-74 | Win | 100 | 5 h 32 m | Show
St Bonaventure Bonnies are 19-7 and looking for that 20th win here tonight at VCU. The Bonnies are riding a seven game win streak as they enter play here tonight and are coming off a win at St Joe's, 54-52, as a 7-point favorite. The VCU Rams are 20-7 and also have a win streak on the line here tonight. The Rams have won seven games in a row and are 4-2 ATS their last six games. VCU has the second most efficient defense in the conference. They are also ranked 1st in 3-point defense (28.5%) and 5th in 2-point defense (47.3%). VCU has some revenge on the line here tonight as they lost at St Bonnies on January 14, 73-53. Both teams have win streaks here tonight and the Bonnies did win by 20-points in the first meeting. However, they also had 19 more free throws in that game. It's senior day at VCU and with some revenge on their minds I'll take the hosts in this one. |
03-01-22 | Ole Miss +17 v. Kentucky | 72-83 | Win | 100 | 7 h 50 m | Show
SEC action today has Ole Miss taking on the Wildcats in Kentucky. Kentucky is 2nd in the SEC with a 12-4 record while Ole Miss is near the bottom with a 4-12 record. Ole Miss Rebels are 13-16 overall on the season and have lost two straight games including last time out to Texas A&M, 66-76 as a 1.5-point favorite. That makes them 1-6 S/U and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games. Kentucky is 23-6 overall and is coming off a loss at Arkansas, 73-75, as a 2-point dog. They are 2-2 their last four games and 1-2-1 ATS. The WildCats will finish their regular season on Saturday with a game at Florida. Cats are really in no danger of making the NCAA tourney and laying 17-points here today is probably more than they need to lay. I look for them to win here tonight but not cover this big line. Play Ole Miss. |
03-01-22 | Providence +9.5 v. Villanova | 74-76 | Win | 100 | 6 h 20 m | Show
Providence and Villanova fighting over the Big East conference title. Providence is in 1st place with a 14-2 conference record while Villanova is in 2nd with a 14-4 mark. The Providence Friars are 24-3 on the season and have won three straight after their loss to Villanova at home back on Feb 15th, 84-89. Other than that loss the Friars are 11-1 over their last 12 games. Villanova Wildcats are 21-7 overall on the season and are coming off a loss at U Conn, 69-71, as a 2.5-point dog. They are now 14-3 over their last 17 games. Providence ranks third in offense and fourth in defense in the league. Villanova is 1st in offense and 2nd in defense in the league. Still, Providence getting 9 1/2 point here today? That just seems way too many to me for a team leading the conference and having the revenge factor too. I'll take those points. |
02-28-22 | UCLA v. Washington +8.5 | 77-66 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 36 m | Show
UCLA sits third in the PAC-12 standings with a 13-5 conference record and 21-6 overall mark. They will take on 6th place Washington, which has a 9-8 conference record and 14-13 overall record. The Bruins rebounded from a loss at Oregon on with a win over Oregon State, 94-55, as a 12.5-point favorite. That was the Bruins fourth win in their last five games both S/U and ATS. UCLA is 7-3 as an away favorite, but only 5-5 vs the spread. UCLA has the PAC-12's 2nd most efficient offense and top rated defense. The Huskies snapped a four game losing streak with a win last game vs Washington State, 78-70 as a 4-point dog. The one big problem I see for this UCLA team is their role as a road favorite. They are just 18-40-1 their last 59 games as a road favorite. Washington is 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games and 13-6 ATS their last 19 games as a dog. In addition, the home team has covered six of the last eight games in this series. I'll take the 8 points with Washington here tonight. |
02-28-22 | San Diego State v. Wyoming +2 | Top | 73-66 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 49 m | Show |
Mountain West action here tonight has two of the top conference teams meeting in Laramie. Boise State leads the conference with a 14-2 record, Wyoming is in 2nd at 12-3 and San Diego State is 4th at 10-4. Four teams in this conference have a great chance of making the NCAA so every win is important. This game probably means more to the San Diego State Aztecs, as they sit at 18-7 and unless they win the conference tourney they are a bubble team to make the NCAA. They are coming off a win over San Jose State, 77-52, as a 21.5-pint favorite. They have won six of their last seven games with their only loss at Boise State, 57-58, as a 2-point dog. They have covered four straight games. Offense has always been an issue for this team and it is again this year as they have just the 8th ranked efficient offense in the conference. However, defense has always been excellent and it's ranked 1st in the Mountain West again. They rank first in six defensive categories. Wyoming is 23-5 and should be a NCAA team no matter what. They have split their last four games at 2-2 S/U. They rebounded from a loss to Colorado State with a home win over Nevada, 74-61, as a 7-point favorite. Wyoming is a perfect 13-0 at home and yet tonight they find themselves a 2-point dog. I understand the line as the oddsmaker figures SDG State needs this game. However, I feel that Wyoming will not just give in and will want to keep that perfect record before their home crowd. The altitude is high in Laramie and that will also have a factor. I'll take Wyoming as a home dog here tonight. |
02-27-22 | Illinois v. Michigan +1 | 93-85 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 46 m | Show
Early Big 10 action here on Sunday has Illinois taking on Michigan. Illinois is 3rd in the Big 10 with a 12-5 record, while Michigan sits 7th with a 9-7 record. Illinois Fighting Illini are 19-8 overall on the season and going for that 20th win here today at Michigan. The Illini are coming off a loss to Ohio State, 83-86 and have lost three of their last five games overall. The Illini have the 5th most efficient offense and the 2nd defense. Michigan is 15-11 and will need to likely do very well in the Big 10 conference tourney if they hope to make the NCAA tourney. The Wolverines are coming off a win over Rutgers, 71-62, as a 5-point home favorite. Michigan has the 4th most efficient offense in the league while they rank just 12th in defense. Two very good offenses here today, but I give a lot to the home court factor with Michigan. Play Michigan. |
02-26-22 | Nevada v. Wyoming -7 | 61-74 | Win | 100 | 8 h 39 m | Show
The Mountain West is a very competitive conference this year and any team can win it and the tournament. Boise State is in first place and Wyoming is right behind in 2nd place with a 11-3 conference record and 22-5 overall mark. Nevada is not a team that has much chance though, as they sit 8th with a 6-9 record and 12-14 overall mark. The Nevada Wolfpack are coming off a loss to instate rival UNLV, 54-62, making the first time in many years that they lost both games to UNLV in one season. That loss snapped a three game win streak, though that streak did have a pair of wins of a very bad San Jose State team. The Pack is now 3-7 S/U and ATS their last 10 games. Meanwhile, Wyoming making a big push for that NCAA bid as they have 22 wins thus far even after losing their last game at Colorado State, 55-61, as a 6.5-point dog. The Cowboys are 7-2 S/U and ATS in their last nine games. The Cowboys have the top offensive efficient team in the conference and are 2nd in Free Throws (76.6%) and 2nd in 2-point field goals (55.7%). Wyoming only laying about 7-points tonight looks like one of the best bargains of the day. Play Wyoming. |
02-26-22 | Loyola-Chicago v. Northern Iowa +2.5 | 96-102 | Win | 100 | 6 h 11 m | Show
Loyola sits atop the Missouri Valley Conference standings with a 13-4 record and 22-6 overall mark. Northern Iowa right on their heals, also at 13-4 in conference and 17-10 overall. The Loyola Ramblers have won two straight games including last game vs Evansville, 82-31, as a 21-point favorite. They have still covered just three of their last 12 games. Loyola has the third most efficient offense and the top defense. Northern Iowa Panthers have won three straight games including last game at Indiana State, 88-82, as a 6-point favorite. The Panthers have the second most efficient offense in the conference and 5th defense. They have the top free throw shooting team (82.2%), 2nd in 2-point FG% (55.6%) and third in 3-point FG% (36.4%). NIU getting a couple of points on their home floor here today. This should be a great game, I'll take the host in this one. |
02-26-22 | Wisconsin v. Rutgers -2 | Top | 66-61 | Loss | -110 | 6 h 12 m | Show |
Big 10 action here on Saturday has Wisconsin taking on Rutgers. Wisconsin has won three straight games and five of their last six. They are 2nd in the Big 10 with a 13-4 record and 22-5 overall record. They are also 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games. Wisconsin has the 8th ranked efficient offense in the Big 10 and the 3rd ranked defense. Rutgers is 16-11 overall on the season and 6th in the conference with a 10-7 mark. They look to snap a two-game losing streak after dropping games at Purdue, 72-84, and at Michigan, 62-71. They return home where they are 13-2 S/U and 9-5-1 ATS on the season. They have the fourth ranked efficient defense in the Big 10. I like Rutgers on their home court here today. Play Rutgers. |
02-26-22 | North Carolina -3.5 v. NC State | 84-74 | Win | 100 | 2 h 13 m | Show
ACC action here today has rivals North Carolina taking on North Carolina State. North Carolina Tar Heels are 20-8, hitting that 20 win mark last game when they beat Louisville, 70-63, but failing to cover the 9.5-point line. They have won two in a row and four of their last five games. However, they have covered just two of their last six games. North Carolina ranks 4th in efficiency in the ACC in both offense and defense. They have the top free throw shooting team with a 77.5% mark. NC State won't be going to any post season tourneys as they sit just 11-17 overall on the season. They are coming off a loss to Boston College, 61-69, as a 6-point favorite. That makes them just 2-9 S/U and ATS their last 11 games. NC State has a horrible defense, ranked last in efficiency in the ACC, last in 3-point FG% on defense (40.2%) and 14th in 2-point defense (52.9%). I'm a bit shocked at NCU laying just 4-points here. I realize this is a rivalry game, but the dog needs something and I see them as being totally mismatched here today. Take North Carolina. |
02-25-22 | Texas State v. Troy State +2 | 66-61 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 40 m | Show
Two of the top Sun Belt teams butt heads here tonight as Troy host Texas State. Texas State tops the conference with a 11-3 mark and 20-6 overall record. Troy comes in third with a 10-5 mark and 19-9 overall record. Texas State Bobcats bring a eight game win streak into tonight's contest. They have also covered their last six games. They are coming off a win over South Alabama, 55-52 as a 3-point road dog. The Cats have the conference's top efficient offense and lead the league in 3-point fg% at 37.8%. They are 3rd in defense. The Troy Trojans are coming off a win over UT Arlington, 59-53 as a 4.5-point favorite. They are 6-2 S/U and 5-3 ATS their last eight games. Troy has the Sun Belts 2nd most efficient defense and is top four in defensive 3point and 2-point fg%. This looks to be the State offense vs the Troy defense here tonight. With Troy at home and getting a couple of points, I'll take the Trojans. |
02-24-22 | UCLA v. Oregon +3.5 | Top | 63-68 | Win | 100 | 10 h 55 m | Show |
PAC-12 action here tonight has UCLA taking on Oregon. UCLA hit that 20-win mark in their last game, a win over Arizona State, 66-52, as a 13.5 point favorite. That was their third win in a row both S/U and ATS. Even with that, they are just 4-3 S/U and ATS their last seven games. Oregon is 17-10 overall on the season and looks to snap a two-game losing streak here at home tonight. The Ducks are coming off a pair of road losses in Arizona to ASU, 57-81, and then last game to AU, 81-84. The Ducks have the fourth best efficient offense in the PAC-12. They are 2nd overall in 2-point FG% (51.8%) and fourth in 3-point FG% (33.4%). I'll take the points at home tonight with the Ducks. |

02-24-22 | IUPU Ft Wayne +6.5 v. Oakland | 81-70 | Win | 100 | 7 h 25 m | Show
Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons are 18-10 on the season and bring a seven game win streak into today's contest. They are also 6-1 ATS in those last seven games. They are coming off a win at Wisc-Milwaukee, 81-71, as a 4.5-point favorite. The Mastodons have the top defense in the conference overall. The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are also 18-10 and are looking to break a 2-game losing streak here tonight. They are coming off a loss to Northern Kentucky, 66-71, as a 4.5-point favorite. The Grizzlies have not done well for bettors, evidenced by their 1-9 ATS mark their last 10 spread games. I like the visitors here tonight who have been covering spreads. Play IPFW. |

02-24-22 | Youngstown State +7 v. Wright State | 71-84 | Loss | -107 | 6 h 30 m | Show
Youngstown State Penguins look to improve their win streak to three games tonight as they take on Wright State. The Penguins are coming off a win over Indiana Purdue, 74-61, as a 17.5-point favorite. They are now 8-1 S/U their last nine games and 8-4 ATS their last 12 games. Wright State Raiders are 16-13 on the season and coming off a loss at Detroit-Mercy, 75-80 as a 1-point favorite. That makes three losses in their last four games both S/U and ATS. The Raiders are only 4-9 ATS their last 13 games vs a team with a winning straight-up record. Wright State is a 7-point favorite here tonight and I believe that is way too many points against a very good Youngstown squad. Take Youngstown State. |

02-23-22 | Rutgers +5 v. Michigan | 62-71 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 30 m | Show
Big 10 action tonight has 5th place Rutgers (10-6) taking on 8th place Michigan (8-7). The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are 16-10 overall and had their four-game win streak snapped last game at Purdue, 72-84, as a 12.5-point dog. The Knights have covered six straight games though. Unless Michigan comes out big in the Big 10 tourney, they likely won't go to the NCAA tourney with a 14-11 record. The Wolverines are coming off a loss at Wisconsin, 63-77 as a 3-point dog. They are just 3-3 S/U and ATS in their last six games. Michigan laying around 5-points tonight and for me I can Rutgers winning this game outright. I'll take the points with Rutgers. |

02-23-22 | TCU +9 v. Texas | 66-75 | Push | 0 | 7 h 30 m | Show
Big 12 clash here on Wednesday has TCU taking on Texas. TCU and Texas right next to each other in the Big 12 with Texas 4th at 8-6 and TCU 5th at 6-7. TCU Horned Frogs are 17-8 overall on the season and snapped a 3-game losing streak in their last game against West Virginia, 77-67, as a 4-point favorite. The Frogs have done well covering spreads, going 9-4 ATS their last 13 and 13-5 ATS their last 18 games. Texas is 19-8 overall and coming off a loss at home to Texas Tech, 55-61, as a 4-point favorite. The Longhorns have lost two of their last three games and are 4-7 ATS their last 11 games. TCU getting 8.5-points here tonight. I believe that's too many for Texas to lay. Take TCU. |

02-23-22 | West Virginia v. Iowa State -5 | 81-84 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 2 m | Show
West Virginia looks to keep its head above the .500 line with a win tonight at Iowa State. The 14-13 Mountaineers have lost four straight games both S/U and ATS including last time out at TCU, 67-77 as a 4-point dog. WVU is now just 1-11 S/U and 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games. Their one win came at home against this Iowa State team, 79-63, as a 3.5-point favorite. The Iowa State Cyclones are 18-9 and bring a two-game win streak into this contest. They are coming off a blowout win over Oklahoma, 75-54 as a 1.5-point favorite. I look for Iowa State to avenge that loss to WVU here tonight. Play Iowa State. |

02-23-22 | Mississippi State v. South Carolina +2.5 | Top | 56-66 | Win | 100 | 7 h 1 m | Show |
Both these clubs pretty evenly matched with both having won 16 games on the season. Both are 7-7 in conference play and sit right in the middle of the SEC pack. Miss State Bulldogs have won two straight games, including their contest at Missouri, 58-56, as a 4-point favorite. Still, they are just 3-6 S/U and 5-4 ATS their last nine games. South Carolina Gamecocks have won three straight games, including last time out vs LSU, 77-75, as a 4.5-point home dog. They have covered four straight and seven of their last nine games. They lost to the Bulldogs back on Feb 1st, 64-78, as a 8.5-point road dog. Not sure why Miss State is a small favorite here tonight. I have it the other way around. However, I'll gladly take the few points with South Carolina. |

02-22-22 | Alabama v. Vanderbilt +4.5 | 74-72 | Win | 100 | 9 h 40 m | Show
SEC action tonight has Alabama taking on Vandy. Alabama brings a 17-10 overall record into tonight's contest and is off a loss at Kentucky, 81-90, as a 5.5-point dog. The Crimson Tide are just 2-11 ATS in their last 13 games. Vandy has a 14-12 overall record and is coming off a win over Texas A&M, 72-67, as a 3.5-point favorite. They are 4-1-1 ATS their last six games. This has been a close series with 17 of the last 18 meetings between these teams decided by 10 points or fewer and 10 of those games by five points or fewer. I look for Vandy to cover here tonight and really look for an outright win from the Commodores. |

02-22-22 | Richmond v. George Washington +6.5 | 84-71 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 42 m | Show
The Richmond Spiders hope to make a late season push to get to that 20-win mark, but it starts here tonight at George Washington. The Spider have lost two of their last three games, including last game at VCU, 57-77, as a 3-point dog. They are also 0-3-1 ATS their last four games. George Washington won't be going anywhere this post season with just a 11-14 overall record. So these games mean something to them as we come down the stretch. The Colonials have played well lately, winning their last two games and three of their last four games. They are coming off a win over Rhode Island, 72-61, as a 4-point home dog. But what I really like about this GW team is that they know how to cover spreads. They are 9-2 ATS their last 11 games. They are also 7-3-1 ATS at home this year and 3-1-1 as a home dog. Richmond is laying 7-points here and really they better not take this GW team lightly or they will lose the game outright. Take the points with GW. |

02-22-22 | Arkansas v. Florida | Top | 82-74 | Win | 100 | 7 h 41 m | Show |
Arkansas looks to solidify its hold on a NCAA bid as they play at Florida tonight. The Razorbacks are 21-6 overall on the season and have won two straight after losing to Alabama back on Feb 12. They are coming off a win over Tennessee, 58-48, as a 2-point favorite. The hogs have now covered eight straight games and 11 of their last 12 games. They have the number one defense in the SEC and are ranked first in defensive 3-poing FG% (28.6%) and 2nd in two-point FG% (44.8%). The Florida Gators are 17-10 overall on the season and snapped a two-game losing streak with a win in their last game over Auburn, 63-62, as a 4.5-point dog. Florida is just 1-5 ATS in their last six games. Unlike Arkansas, Florida is ranked 10th overall in the SEC in defense. Pick'em game here tonight means we just need to win the game and I look to Arkansas to do just that. Play Arkansas. |
