03-04-22 | Bowling Green +16 v. Toledo | Top | 56-96 | Loss | -110 | 3 h 55 m | Show |
At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Bowling Green + the points over Toledo. The Rockets upset Buffalo, 92-76, on Tuesday. But off that upset win, we'll fade Toledo this evening, as .636 (or better) Mid-American Conference favorites of more than 4 points, are a dismal 31-67 ATS in home conference games off an upset road win. Take Bowling Green + the points. |
03-04-22 | High Point v. Winthrop -7 | Top | 51-68 | Win | 100 | 2 h 23 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Winthrop Eagles minus the points over High Point. The Panthers upset the Eagles in the teams' lone meeting this past regular season. We'll lay the points with Winthrop, as the Eagles are 18-7 ATS when playing with revenge. And Southern Conference Tournament favorites are 26-16-1 ATS when playing with revenge. Lay the points. |
03-04-22 | The Citadel +5.5 v. East Tennessee State | Top | 84-76 | Win | 100 | 1 h 25 m | Show |
At 5 pm, our selection is on the The Citadel + the points over East Tennessee State. The Bulldogs were blown out by 35 points last Saturday by Furman. This afternoon, they'll look to bounce back from that defeat, and they will face a Buccaneers team which defeated them by 10 points on Feb. 19. We'll grab the points as The Citadel is 8-0 ATS its last eight (and 19-7 ATS its last 28) as an underdog of 14 (or less) points away from home off a loss by 14+ points. Take the Bulldogs + the points. |
03-03-22 | Stanford +19 v. Arizona | Top | 69-81 | Win | 100 | 10 h 34 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Stanford Cardinal + the points over Arizona. Stanford comes into tonight's game off back to back double-digt blowout losses. And the Cardinal were favored in each of those two games. We'll grab the points tonight, as NCAA double-digit dogs are a sensational 71% on the conference road, if they were off back to back double-digit upset losses, and their foe was off a SU win. Take Stanford. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-03-22 | Bruins -108 v. Golden Knights | Top | 5-2 | Win | 100 | 10 h 30 m | Show |
At 9:05 pm, our selection is on the Boston Bruins over Vegas. The Golden Knights shut down San Jose on Tuesday, as they held the Sharks to just one goal on 17 shots. But Vegas is a dismal 27-28 (but minus 15.7 games on the moneyline) after surrendering less than two goals in their previous game. And they're also 0-3 at home this season after allowing 20 or less shots on goal in their previous game. Take Boston tonight. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-03-22 | Pacific v. Loyola Marymount UNDER 140 | Top | 66-86 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 35 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the UNDER in the Pacific/Loyola Marymount game. The previous meeting of these teams went 'over' the total by 31 points, which has led the oddsmakers to inflate the number of this Total. We'll take advantage and look for a relatively-low scoring game tonight, as post-season games have gone 'under' 55% when the previous meeting went 'over' by 25+ points. Even better: the UNDER falls into a 76% Totals system of mine. Take the UNDER. |
03-03-22 | Robert Morris v. Cleveland State -11.5 | Top | 67-83 | Win | 100 | 9 h 32 m | Show |
03-03-22 | TCU v. Kansas -11.5 | Top | 68-72 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 31 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Kansas Jayhawks minus the points over TCU. This is the 2nd of back to back games between these Big 12 Conference rivals. Jamie Dixon's men won the first meeting -- in Forth Worth -- on Tuesday, 74-64, as a 6-point home dog. We'll lay the points tonight with Kansas, as it's 38-18 ATS when playing with revenge from an upset loss. Take Kansas. Good luck, as always....Al McMordie. |
03-03-22 | Pistons v. Raptors -8.5 | Top | 108-106 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 8 m | Show |
At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Raptors minus the points over Detroit. The Pistons have won both meetings vs. Toronto this season. We'll lay the points with Toronto in Round 3, as Detroit has covered just 37.2% as a road underdog since 1990 when playing a foe with double-revenge from two losses earlier in the season. Take the Raptors. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-03-22 | Detroit v. Northern Kentucky -3.5 | Top | 59-77 | Win | 100 | 8 h 34 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Northern Kentucky Norse minus the points over Detroit. We played on the Titans on Tuesday, and were rewarded with a 17-point win over Green Bay. But Detroit is an awful 20-36 ATS on the road off a double-digit home win. The Norse did lose both regular season meetings vs. Detroit. But Northern Kentucky is a super 17-6 ATS when playing with revenge. Take Northern Kentucky. |
03-03-22 | American v. Navy -11.5 | Top | 64-71 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 33 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Navy Midshipmen minus the points over American. Navy swept the season series vs. American, and is 24-13 ATS as a favorite the past two seasons. It's true that American ended the regular season with back to back wins. But it's a horrid 0-6 ATS off back to back ATS wins. Take Navy. |
03-03-22 | Arkansas-Little Rock +13.5 v. South Alabama | Top | 75-71 | Win | 100 | 4 h 36 m | Show |
At 3 pm, our selection is on the Arkansas Little Rock Trojans + the points over South Alabama. The Trojans were blown out, 77-46, by the Jaguars earlier this season, and are 8-18 on the season. We'll take the points with Little Rock, as .500 (or worse) teams have cashed 62.3% in the post season if they were an underdog of +5 (or more) points, and playing with revenge from a 30-point (or worse) defeat. Take Little Rock + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-02-22 | Presbyterian v. Campbell -3 | Top | 72-75 | Push | 0 | 11 h 39 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Campbell Fighting Camels minus the points over Presbyterian. The Blue Hose upset Campbell when these teams last met four weeks ago. We'll lay the points with Campbell, as revenge-minded favorites have cashed 72% in the Big South Tournament if they lost all of the meetings in the regular season vs. their opponent. Take Campbell. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-02-22 | Knicks +10.5 v. 76ers | Top | 108-123 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 18 m | Show |
At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the New York Knicks + the points over Philadelphia. The 76ers blew out the Knicks on Sunday, 125-109 (though the game was tied at 98, in the 4th quarter before Philly's finishing kick). We'll take the Knicks this evening, as double-digit dogs have covered over 63% since 1990 if they lost SU/ATS to the very same opponent in their previous game. Take New York. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-02-22 | Blues v. Rangers -105 | Top | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 10 h 12 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the New York Rangers over the St. Louis Blues. The Rangers come into this east-west match-up having lost on back-to-back days to the Penguins and Canucks. In the second game -- a 5-2 defeat here at home -- New York had to use its back-up goalie, Alexandar Georgiev. Their regular net-minder, Igor Shesterkin, will be back in goal tonight with a fresh pair of legs. The 26-year-old Russian is the favorite to win this season's Vezina Trophy for top goaltender in the league. In 34 games played, Shesterkin has a 25-6-3 record with a 1.95 GAA and a league-leading .941 saves pct. The two days of rest that the Rangers have had since that stinging defeat here to Vancouver could really help them out tonight as they are 9-3 in their last 12 games when playing on two or more day off. New York is also 5-0 in its last five games following a loss by three or more goals. Take the Rangers. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
03-02-22 | Pacers -2.5 v. Magic | Top | 122-114 | Win | 100 | 3 h 46 m | Show |
At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Indiana Pacers minus the points over Orlando. This is the 2nd of back to back meetings between these teams (both in Orlando). The Magic won Round 1, 119-103, as a 2.5-point favorite. Tonight, it's the Pacers who are favored, in part because Malcolm Brogdon will play tonight after missing the prior game. We'll lay the points, as the Pacers fall into a 132-94 ATS revenge system of mine. Additionally, in the 2nd of back to back meetings between the same two teams, the loser of the first meeting has covered the 2nd game 56.9% if both games were competitively-priced with point spreads of 3 points or less. Take the Pacers. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-02-22 | Sacred Heart v. Long Island -8.5 | Top | 75-82 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 40 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Long Island Sharks minus the points over Sacred Heart. The Pioneers enter the tourney on a 2-game SU/ATS win streak. Not to be outdone, Long Island comes into this Northeast Conference game on a 6-game win streak. It's 11-1 SU at home, and 7-4 ATS. Sacred Heart, meanwhile, is an awful 2-15 ATS on the road off a SU win. Take the Sharks minus the points. |
03-02-22 | Middle Tennessee v. Charlotte +2.5 | Top | 56-60 | Win | 100 | 10 h 39 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Charlotte 49ers + the points over Middle Tennessee. Nick McDevitt's Blue Raiders have won 8 straight (and are 7-0 ATS their last seven). But we'll look for this hot streak to come to a halt tonight, as Middle Tenn falls into a negative 119-177 ATS system of mine which plays against certain teams on win streaks. Moreover, since 1990, Conference USA home underdogs, with a .500 (or better) conference W/L record, have cashed 60% in conference games off a SU/ATS loss. Take Charlotte + the points. |
03-02-22 | North Carolina A&T +2 v. Radford | Top | 78-71 | Win | 100 | 2 h 11 m | Show |
At 11:30 am (note the early start time), our selection is on the NC A&T Aggies + the points over Radford. These two teams met this past Saturday in Greensboro, and the Highlanders upset the Aggies, 62-53. Overall, the Aggies are off back to back SU/ATS losses, and have also dropped 4 straight games entering this Big South Tournament, while the Highlanders are off back to back ATS wins. We'll take NC A&T + the points, as teams off 4 SU and 2 ATS losses have covered 57% of tourney games since 1990 vs. foes not off an ATS loss. Additionally, the Highlanders are 0-7 off a road upset win, while the Aggies are 27-11 ATS when playing with revenge. Take the Aggies + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-01-22 | CS-Northridge +15.5 v. UC-Santa Barbara | Top | 61-70 | Win | 100 | 12 h 39 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the Cal State Northridge Matadors + the points over UCSB. Cal Santa Barbara is on a 3-game SU/ATS winning streak, while the Matadors are 0-4 SU/ATS their last four. We'll grab the double-digits with Northridge, as UCSB has covered just 14 of 48 at home off 3+ wins. Additionally, Big West road teams have gone 30-11 ATS off 3 ATS losses when playing a conference foe off back to back ATS wins. Take the Matadors. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-01-22 | Cincinnati +15 v. Houston | Top | 53-71 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 37 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Cincinnati Bearcats + the points over Houston. The Cougars blew out Cincy earlier this season by 22 points. We'll grab the points with the Bearcats in this rematch, as they've covered 67% since 1990 when playing with revenge, if they were off a SU loss in their previous game, while their opponent was off a SU win. Take Cincinnati. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-01-22 | Michigan State v. Michigan -4.5 | Top | 70-87 | Win | 100 | 10 h 7 m | Show |
At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Michigan Wolverines minus the points over Michigan State. The Wolves come into this game off an 8-point loss to Illinois, while the Spartans upset the Boilermakers in East Lansing, on Saturday. But Michigan is a solid 80-46-2 ATS off a loss. And the Spartans are 3-13 ATS off a conference home win. Take the Wolverines. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-01-22 | IUPU-Indianapolis +23.5 v. Oakland | Top | 58-69 | Win | 100 | 10 h 42 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the IUPUI Jaguars + the points over Oakland. IUPUI has been installed as a massive road underdog in the opening round of the Horizon League tournament. And that's to be expected, given IUPUI's 3-25 record (9-17 ATS), compared to that of Oakland (19-11 SU, 14-14 ATS). We'll grab the points, as road underdogs of more than 18 points have gone 17-2 ATS in the post-season vs. foes that didn't have a losing ATS record. And Oakland is a poor 20-38 ATS as a favorite of more than 4 points. Take IUPUI. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-01-22 | Wisc-Milwaukee +2.5 v. Illinois-Chicago | Top | 69-80 | Loss | -105 | 10 h 40 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on Wisconsin-Milwaukee + the points over Illinois-Chicago. The Panthers were blown out, 71-58, by the Flames here, on Saturday. We'll take Milwaukee in this rematch, as it's 27-9 ATS as a revenge-minded road underdog vs. a foe off an ATS win. Take the Panthers + the points. |
03-01-22 | Nets +8.5 v. Raptors | Top | 108-109 | Win | 100 | 9 h 16 m | Show |
At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Brooklyn Nets + the points over Toronto. Last night, we played on the Raptors, and were rewarded with a 36-point blowout of these Nets. We'll take Brooklyn as a big underdog in this rematch, as it's 41-17 ATS as an underdog on the road when playing with revenge. Take the Nets. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
03-01-22 | Oilers -150 v. Flyers | Top | 3-0 | Win | 100 | 9 h 40 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Edmonton Oilers over the Philadelphia Flyers. The Oilers and Hurricanes clashed on Sunday and the game was as expected -- close until the very end. The 'Canes came out of it with a hard-fought 2-1 victory in Raleigh despite being limited to under 30 shots on goal. No doubt, the Oilers are looking forward to this trip up north as they will get to visit Philadelphia (tonight), Chicago (Wednesday) and then Montreal. For the Flyers, they had one of their biggest victories of the season when they beat the Capitals here on Saturday afternoon, 2-1. But despite that success, let's not forget we're still talking about a team that is just 16-36 overall and 9-18 here at home. Even an injured Edmonton club (they are currently without eight regular skaters) should be able to get by the Flyers tonight in the first meeting of these two here in over three years. The Flyers are 3-14 in their last 17 when their opponent allows two goals or less in their previous game. Take Edmonton. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
03-01-22 | Green Bay v. Detroit -9.5 | Top | 62-79 | Win | 100 | 9 h 41 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Detroit Mercy Titans minus the points over Wisconsin-Green Bay. Detroit suffered its first home loss of the season on Saturday, when it fell by 3 points to Fort Wayne. Detroit is 14-9 ATS at home off a SU loss, while Green Bay is 5-12-1 ATS away from home as an underdog vs. a foe off a SU loss. Take Detroit. |
03-01-22 | American v. Holy Cross -2 | Top | 69-63 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 40 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Holy Cross Crusaders minus the points over American. The Eagles upset Holy Cross here, in Worcester, on Valentine's Day, 60-54. We'll lay the points in this rematch, as Holy Cross is 12-4 ATS when playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season. Take the Crusaders. |
03-01-22 | Bucknell v. Lafayette -5 | Top | 82-81 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 39 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Lafayette Leopards minus the points over Bucknell. The Bison upset Boston U., 89-78, on Saturday (and also defeated Lafayette, 92-89, in February). But Bucknell is a poor 5-10 ATS off an upset win. Meanwhile, the Leopards were upset by Lehigh, 78-58. However, they're 4-0 ATS off a loss by more than 16 points, and 19-13 ATS when playing with revenge. Take Lafayette minus the points. |
03-01-22 | NJIT +10 v. Stony Brook | Top | 68-87 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 22 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on New Jersey Tech + the points over Stony Brook. The Highlanders are on a 3-game SU/ATS losing streak, while the Seawolves are off a SU/ATS home win over Albany last Saturday. Unfortunately for Stony Brook, it's 2-11 ATS off a home conference win. And, notwithstanding its last victory, it's still just covered eight of 26 at home vs. conference foes. The Highlanders' 3-game SU/ATS losing streak has triggered a very good 705-494 ATS system of mine, so we'll grab the points with New Jersey Tech. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-28-22 | San Diego State v. Wyoming +2 | Top | 73-66 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 20 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Wyoming Cowboys + the points over San Diego State. The Cowboys are 23-5 on the season, including 13-0 straight-up (and 6-4-2 ATS) at home, and 10-5 SU/ATS away from home. Tonight, notwithstanding their perfect home record, the Cowboys are a home underdog. But home teams with a 13-0 (or better) home record have cashed 56% ATS at home over the past 32 years, when not favored by 5+ points (including 8-1 ATS this season). Indeed, this past Saturday, we saw Tennessee (14-0 at home) defeat Auburn, St Mary's (15-0 at home) upset #1 Gonzaga, and Middle Tennessee (14-0 at home) blow out Western Kentucky. Grab the points with Wyoming. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-28-22 | Hornets v. Bucks -10 | Top | 106-130 | Win | 100 | 12 h 31 m | Show |
At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Milwaukee Bucks minus the points over Charlotte. Mike Budenholzer's men come into this game off back-to-back losses. But the Bucks are a sensational 48-21 ATS at home off back-to-back losses. And they also fall into an 85-49 ATS revenge system of mine, based on the fact that Charlotte has won the previous two meetings. Lay the points. |
02-28-22 | Kings -3.5 v. Thunder | Top | 131-110 | Win | 100 | 12 h 31 m | Show |
At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Sacramento Kings minus the points over Oklahoma City. The Thunder won without Josh Giddey on Friday, at Indiana, as they upset the Pacers, 129-125. But off that win, we will fade the Thunder tonight vs. Sacramento, as OKC falls into negative 78-145 and 110-200 ATS systems of mine that fade certain teams off upset wins. Even better: the Kings are off a loss at Denver, but are 25-16 ATS off back to back losses, if their previous game was on the road. Take the Kings minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-28-22 | Raptors -2.5 v. Nets | Top | 133-97 | Win | 100 | 11 h 1 m | Show |
At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Raptors minus the points over Brooklyn. The Raptors were blown out by 27 points in their last game by Atlanta. And that was Toronto's 2nd straight loss since resuming play after the break. But Toronto is 23-13 ATS off a loss by more than 11 points, and 110-71 ATS off back to back losses, overall. Take Toronto. |
02-28-22 | Canucks v. Devils -125 | Top | 2-7 | Win | 100 | 4 h 42 m | Show |
At 7:35 pm, our selection is on the New Jersey Devils over Vancouver. This is a tough spot for the Canucks, who had to play the Rangers yesterday, while the Devils are well-rested following two off days on Saturday and Sunday. Thatcher Demko will sit tonight for Vancouver, who will instead turn to veteran Jaroslav Halak. Unfortunately, the Canucks have dropped seven of the nine games started by Halak, and they're 3-15 their last 18 when playing the 2nd of back to back games. Even worse: yesterday, the Canucks tallied 5 goals in a 5-2 win over the Rangers. But they're 7-20 after winning a game on the road while scoring more than 3 goals. Take New Jersey. |
02-28-22 | South Carolina State v. Howard -9.5 | Top | 62-72 | Win | 100 | 11 h 49 m | Show |
At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the Howard Bison minus the points over South Carolina State. The Bulldogs upset the Bison four weeks ago, 58-55, as a 7-point home underdog. So, we'll lay the points with the revenge-minded Bison, as they fall into a 169-92 ATS revenge system of mine. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-27-22 | Mavs +4.5 v. Warriors | Top | 107-101 | Win | 100 | 12 h 35 m | Show |
At 7:40 pm, on ESPN-TV, our selection is on the Dallas Mavericks + the points over Golden State. The Warriors thrashed the Mavericks, 130-92, in the previous meeting. Unfortunately for Golden State, winning teams that won by 38+ points in the season's previous meeting have covered just 36% at home since 1990 in the next match-up. And the Mavericks are also 9-3 ATS in the last 12 meetings between these Western conference foes. Take Dallas + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-27-22 | Clippers v. Rockets +7 | Top | 99-98 | Win | 100 | 11 h 6 m | Show |
At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Houston Rockets + the points over the Los Angeles Clippers. In a scheduling quirk, this will be the 2nd time in three games that these two teams will have met. And, then, they will play for a 3rd time in four games when they play here, in Houston, on Tuesday. The Clippers blew out Houston by 31 points in the game right before the All-Star Break. We'll take the Rockets in this rematch, as the Clippers are 20-44 ATS when favored by 4+ points against a revenge-minded foe. And NBA home underdogs off back to back SU/ATS losses are a solid 150-112 ATS vs. non-division foes off 3 ATS wins. Take Houston + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-27-22 | Celtics v. Pacers +8 | Top | 107-128 | Win | 100 | 9 h 4 m | Show |
At 5:10 pm, our selection is on the Indiana Pacers + the points over Boston. The Pacers stumbled coming out of the All-Star Break, as they were upset, 129-125, as an 8-point favorite vs. Oklahoma City. Of course, this is to be somewhat expected, as the long layoff creates a little bit of rust. But we'll take Indiana to bounce back, as teams that were off upset losses in their first game after the All-Star Break have covered 64.8% at home when not laying more than 7 points (and 90% when getting 2+ points). Additionally, the Pacers are 54-30 ATS as an underdog of +4 (or more) points off an upset home loss, including 12-1-1 ATS vs. unrested foes. Grab the points with Indiana. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-27-22 | SMU v. Houston -10.5 | Top | 61-75 | Win | 100 | 4 h 23 m | Show |
At 12:30 pm, our selection is on the Houston Cougars minus the points over SMU. Kelvin Sampson's men have lost just twice in American Athletic Conference play this season: to Memphis and SMU. So, they'll get their first chance to avenge a conference defeat today, at home, in the friendly confines of the Fertitta Center. Houston is a powerful 34-17-3 ATS in conference games when playing with revenge, including 23-7 ATS off a point spread win. And it's 18-9 ATS when playing with revenge from an upset loss. Even better: in regular season match-ups between .735 (or better) teams, the revenger has covered 58% since 1990 when priced as a PK/Favorite at home or on neutral courts. We'll lay the points with Houston this afternoon. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-26-22 | Colorado State v. Utah State -2 | Top | 66-55 | Loss | -123 | 12 h 42 m | Show |
At 10:30 pm, our selection is on the Utah State Aggies minus the points over Colorado State. Utah State blew out New Mexico, 81-56, here at home, on Tuesday. And they'll welcome the 22-4 Rams tonight for their final home game of the season. The Aggies have always had a strong home court, and they're 27-4 in their final home game of the season since 1991. Even better: Utah State has cashed 60% since 1994 at home vs. Conference foes with a winning SU/ATS record. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-26-22 | Gonzaga v. St. Mary's +11 | Top | 57-67 | Win | 100 | 9 h 39 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the St Mary's Gaels + the points over Gonzaga. The Gaels have yet to taste defeat at home this season, as they're 15-0. And home teams with a strong home court, that have won at least 35 of their last 40 home games (which St. Mary's has), are 61.2% ATS as home dogs of +5 or more points, vs. conference foes off a SU win since 1990. Take the Gaels. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

02-26-22 | Wizards v. Cavs -7 | Top | 86-92 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 55 m | Show |
At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Cleveland Cavaliers minus the points over Washington. We played against the Wizards last night, and took the Spurs as a small road favorite. San Antonio + Washington went to double-overtime before the Spurs prevailed by a 157-153 count. Off that extended game, and having to travel, I look for Washington to be a bit overmatched against a rested Cavaliers team. The Cavs were upset in their last game by the cellar-dwelling Pistons, so they'll be extra motivated this evening. Cleveland's an awesome 47-21 ATS as a favorite of -6 (or more) points vs. losing foes, if the Cavs were off back to back losses. Lay the points. |
02-26-22 | Grizzlies v. Bulls | Top | 116-110 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 54 m | Show |
At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Chicago Bulls over the Memphis Grizzlies. The Bulls have won six straight, and currently are atop the Eastern Conference. They'll welcome the #3-seeded Western Conference team to the Windy City tonight. The Grizzlies got the better of Chicago on Beale Street, in January. But we'll take Chicago to avenge that defeat tonight, as .650 (or better) revenge-minded teams are 545-442 ATS at home in the regular season vs. .500 (or better) foes, if our revenger wasn't favored by 11+ points. Take the Bulls. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-26-22 | Arizona v. Colorado +10.5 | Top | 63-79 | Win | 100 | 7 h 41 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Colorado Buffaloes + the points over Arizona. The Buffaloes had their five-game win streak snapped on Thursday, when they suffered an upset loss at the hands of Arizona State. We'll take the Buffs to bounce back tonight, as Colorado is a solid 51-30 ATS at home when not favored by 17+ points. Take the Buffaloes as a home underdog. |
02-26-22 | Lamar +14 v. Tarleton St | Top | 49-57 | Win | 100 | 7 h 40 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Lamar Cardinals + the points over Tarleton St. Yes, Lamar is 2-24 on the season. But really bad teams have been solid bets on the road over the years late in the season. Indeed, at Game 21 forward, teams that have won less than 10% of their games have covered 61.2 percent on the road, dating back to 1999. Take Lamar + the points. |
02-26-22 | Raptors v. Hawks -2 | Top | 100-127 | Win | 100 | 18 h 26 m | Show |
At 7:40 pm, our selection is on the Atlanta Hawks minus the points over Toronto. The Raptors won by 11 points earlier this month vs. Atlanta, so the Hawks will play this game with revenge. We went against Toronto last night when they went into Charlotte to play another revenge-minded foe, and were rewarded with a 125-93 blowout win. And we'll look for the Raptors to lose back to back games. Atlanta is a solid 93-54 ATS at home when playing with rest and revenge from a loss by more than 10 points. And Atlanta also falls into a strong 144-66 ATS revenge system of mine. Take the Hawks minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-26-22 | Southern Miss +15 v. Rice | Top | 72-77 | Win | 100 | 5 h 10 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles + the points over Rice. The Owls have not been a reliable home favorite of -12 (or more) points, as they've covered just 31% over the last 32 seasons in this role. That doesn't bode well for the home team today. Moreover, Southern Miss falls into a 704-494 ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams off SU/ATS losses.. Take the Golden Eagles + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-26-22 | Wisconsin v. Rutgers -2 | Top | 66-61 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 11 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights minus the points over Wisconsin. The Badgers are an awful 26-52 ATS on the Big 10 Conference road when they've been a regular season underdog of less than 13 points, and their foe's ATS win percentage was .563 (or less). Take Rutgers minus the points. |
02-26-22 | Murray State v. SE Missouri State +12.5 | Top | 70-68 | Win | 100 | 3 h 12 m | Show |
At 5 pm, our selection is on the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks + the points over Murray State. The Racers had their most impressive win of the season when they blew out a strong Belmont team, 76-43, last Saturday. But Murray is a poor 4-15 ATS on the road off a 15+ point win. Take the Redhawks + the points. |
02-26-22 | Green Bay -6 v. IUPU-Indianapolis | Top | 67-41 | Win | 100 | 3 h 58 m | Show |
At 4:45 pm, our selection is on the Wisconsin-Green Bay Phoenix minus the points over IUPUI. The Jaguars are 3-24 and come into this game off a blowout home loss to Milwaukee. IUPUI is a woeful 8-17 ATS its last 25 as a home dog. Take Green Bay minus the points. |
02-26-22 | Florida State +9 v. Virginia | Top | 64-63 | Win | 100 | 2 h 14 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Florida State Seminoles + the points over Virginia. The Seminoles come into this game off back to back blowout losses (of 18 and 16 points). But FSU is 10-1 ATS off back to back losses by 15+ points. Grab the points with Florida State. |
02-26-22 | Rangers v. Penguins -158 | Top | 0-1 | Win | 100 | 14 h 48 m | Show |
At 3:05 pm, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Penguins over the New York Rangers. No NHL team is as streaky as the Penguins this season. Pittsburgh's hockey club will regularly put together a week-long string of victories only to follow it up with a three, four, or five game swoon. Such is the case right now as the Pens won four straight between February 8 and 15 (three of those on the road) and have promptly followed that up with a three-game losing streak coming into this afternoon's match-up vs. the Rangers. Meanwhile, New Yorked looked like a Stanley Cup team on Thursday night when it completely dismantled the Capitals at home, 4-1. But there are a few reasons to believe that the Pens will start a new win streak at home today. First, the city of Pittsburgh has not been friendly to the Rangers lately. New York is 1-6 in the last seven meetings here going back to January of 2018. Second, is the fact that despite their success, the Rangers haven't fared well lately as a road underdog (3-8 in their last 11) which is what they are this afternoon. Take Pittsburgh. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.
02-26-22 | Central Arkansas v. Lipscomb -8 | Top | 66-81 | Win | 100 | 3 h 14 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Lipscomb Bisons minus the points over Central Arkansas. The Bears upset Lipscomb in January, 93-88, as a 6-point home dog. We'll take the Bisons this afternoon to avenge that defeat, as they're 11-3 ATS when playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season. And they also fall into a 166-92 ATS revenge system of mine. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-26-22 | Fairleigh Dickinson +13.5 v. Long Island | Top | 77-84 | Win | 100 | 3 h 8 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights + the points over Long Island. The Knights narrowly lost to the Sharks, 79-75, at home back in January. We'll grab the double-digits in this rematch, as Fairleigh Dickinson falls into a super 90-39 ATS system of mine which plays on certain big underdogs in conference games. Even better: the Knights upset Wagner, 88-86, as a 13.5-point home dog in their last game. And underdogs off upset home wins, as an underdog of 13+ points, have covered 60.3% since 1990. Take the Knights + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-26-22 | North Alabama +13.5 v. Jacksonville State | Top | 52-69 | Loss | -110 | 2 h 56 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the North Alabama Lions + the points over Jacksonville State. The Gamecocks come into this game on a 3-game SU/ATS win streak while the Lions have lost their last 7 (1-6 ATS). But we'll grab the points with North Alabama, as it falls into a super 439-242 ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams off SU/ATS losses. Meanwhile, the Gamecocks are a horrid 4-21 ATS as a double-digit favorite vs. opponents not off a SU/ATS win. Take North Alabama + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-26-22 | IUPU Ft Wayne v. Detroit -3 | Top | 81-78 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 57 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Detroit Mercy Titans minus the points over Fort Wayne. Detroit has gone 8-0 SU at home this season, and this will be its final regular season home game. One of the things I like to do is play on home teams in their final regular season home game, if they're undefeated at home, and matched-up against a non-losing foe. And if they're playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season (which Detroit is), then even better. Lay the points with the Titans. |
02-26-22 | Maine +10.5 v. Maryland-Baltimore County | Top | 79-93 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 54 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Maine Black Bears + the points over Maryland-Baltimore Country. The Retrievers annihilated the Black Bears when the two teams met in Maryland earlier this season. UMBC won that game by a whopping 42 points. But that massive defeat sets up our play today, as teams playing with revenge from a 40-point (or worse) setback have gone 97-67 ATS. Take Maine + the points. |
02-26-22 | Celtics -10.5 v. Pistons | Top | 113-104 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 55 m | Show |
At 12:10 pm, in an early start, our selection is on the Boston Celtics minus the points over Detroit. Boston's won 10 out of 11 games. Its one loss: a 1-point home defeat to these Pistons, on Feb 16. So, don't be surprised if the Celtics avenge that loss in a big way on this Saturday. Indeed, revenge-minded, double-digit road favorites have cashed 73.9% since 1990 if they were off a win in their previous game. Take Boston. |
02-26-22 | Miami-OH +12.5 v. Toledo | Top | 73-88 | Loss | -110 | 1 h 22 m | Show |
At 12 Noon, our selection is on the Miami-Ohio RedHawks + the points over Toledo. Miami was upset by Toledo at home, back in January. We'll grab the double-digits, as Mid-American Conference road underdogs of more than 8 points have gone 28-7-1 ATS in the regular season when playing with revenge from an upset loss earlier in the season. Take Miami. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
02-25-22 | Spurs -2.5 v. Wizards | Top | 157-153 | Win | 100 | 12 h 41 m | Show |
At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the San Antonio Spurs minus the points over Washington. The Spurs have won 3 of 4 games (all on the road) to move up to 11th place in the Western Conference, just one game outside the final play-in spot currently held by the Trail Blazers. They'll visit a Wizards club which is currently in a 4-16-1 ATS tailspin, including 2-11-1 ATS their last 14 at home. Even worse for Washington: it won its last game, 117-103, over the Nets. But Washington is 0-8 ATS its last eight (and 3-14 ATS its last 17) games off a straight-up win. Take San Antonio to blow out Washington. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-25-22 | Raptors v. Hornets +2.5 | Top | 93-125 | Win | 100 | 4 h 10 m | Show |
At 7:10 pm, our selection is on the Charlotte Hornets + the points over Toronto. Going into the All-Star Break, these two teams were headed in opposite directions. Toronto had gone 9-2 SU/ATS since Jan. 29, while the Hornets had won just one of their 10 previous games, straight-up. One of those nine defeats was a 15-point home loss to this Raptors team, on February 7. We'll take the Hornets + the points, as they fall into a 97-35 ATS revenge system of mine, as well as a 66% ATS system which plays on certain .450 (or better) home teams off a loss vs. non-division foes. Finally, the Raptors are 8-26 ATS in competitively-priced games with point spreads of 5 or less, if they're playing a .480 (or better) double-revenge-minded foe. Grab the points with Charlotte. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-25-22 | Blue Jackets v. Hurricanes -1.5 | Top | 0-4 | Win | 100 | 12 h 37 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Carolina Hurricanes -1.5 goals over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Tonight will be the fourth meeting of the season between the 'Canes and Jackets. It looked like it was going to be a one-sided series after the first two -- both won by Carolina rather easily. But the Blue Jackets came back with a vengeance on January 13, shutting out the 'Canes, 6-0. So now this is a revenge situation for the home team as the 'Canes hope to get the bad taste of that stinging defeat -- their worst of the season -- out of their mouths. It's been a carousel for the Jackets in goal this season with their top two veteran net-minders (Merzlikins and Korpisalo) plus their talented rookie Tarasov out with injuries. Number four Jean-Francois Berube has stepped in with two solid starts, but with Columbus having played last night, it'll be down to the last option tonight in recently-signed Jet Greaves who has yet to play an NHL game. The 'Canes are 4-1 in their last five vs. Metro teams while the Jackets are 1-5 in the last six meetings of these two. Take Carolina -1.5 goals. As always, good luck...Al McMordie |
02-25-22 | Akron v. Ohio -7 | Top | 91-83 | Loss | -107 | 11 h 30 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Ohio Bobcats minus the points over Akron. The Zips come into this game off back to back SU/ATS wins over Eastern Michigan and Bowling Green. But they're a wallet-breaking 18-34 ATS off back to back wins, including 0-6 ATS their last six. This is the final home game of the season for Ohio, and it currently sports a super 14-1 record at the Convocation Center. The Bobcats are also 29-4 SU their last 33, and 20-12 ATS their last 32 lined games. And they're a spectacular 17-1 ATS in their final home game of the season when playing an opponent off a SU/ATS win. Take Ohio minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-24-22 | Belmont +3.5 v. Murray State | Top | 43-76 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 55 m | Show |
At 9 pm, our selection is on the Belmont Bruins + the points over Murray State. This is a great match-up between the 23-5 Bruins and 26-2 Racers. Earlier this year, the Racers went into Belmont and shocked the Bruins, 82-60, as a 6-point road underdog. But Belmont has bounced back from that loss, and has won 11 of 12, including its last 10 in a row. The Bruins are 12-1 ATS as an underdog of 2+ points. Take the Bruins. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-24-22 | Morehead State -16 v. Eastern Illinois | Top | 82-46 | Win | 100 | 8 h 13 m | Show |
At 8:30 pm, our selection is on the Morehead State Eagles minus the points over Eastern Illinois. The Eagles were stunned, 92-84, at home by Southeast Missouri on Saturday, as a double-digit home favorite. We'll lay the points with Morehead tonight, as I love it to bounce back. And especially since it's 18-7 ATS on the road off an upset conference defeat. Lay the points. |
02-24-22 | Hawks +3.5 v. Bulls | Top | 108-112 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 8 m | Show |
At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Atlanta Hawks + the points over Chicago. The Bulls ended the first half on a 5-game win streak, but momentum won't carry over after the eight-day layoff. We'll grab the points with Atlanta, which plays tonight with double-revenge from a pair of losses to Chicago in December. The Hawks are 9-1 SU and 10-0 ATS as underdogs with double-revenge (including outright upset wins as underdogs of +4.5, +5.5, +6, +8.5 and +11 points). Take the Hawks + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-24-22 | South Dakota State v. Oral Roberts +4 | Top | 106-102 | Push | 0 | 8 h 45 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Oral Roberts Eagles + the points over South Dakota State. The Jackrabbits are 16-0 in Summit League play, but Oral Roberts was competitive in defeat at South Dakota State back in December, as they lost by just six, as a 9-point road underdog. We'll take ORU + the points, as teams that are 14-0 (or better) in conference play have covered just 30% of the time when they weren't laying 6+ points. Take the Eagles. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-24-22 | Southern Miss +20.5 v. North Texas | Top | 61-85 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 43 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles + the points over North Texas. The Golden Eagles have dropped 10 straight, while the Mean Green have won 12 in a row. The knee-jerk reaction might be to play on the red-hot North Texas squad, but consider that teams off a SU/ATS loss, and 10 losses in a row, overall, have covered 76.6% over the last 32 years vs. foes off 6+ wins. This angle has already had four plays this season, and is 3-1 ATS. And it's 7-1 ATS the last three seasons. Take Southern Miss + the points. |
02-24-22 | Lamar +17 v. Abilene Christian | Top | 42-77 | Loss | -115 | 8 h 42 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Lamar Cardinals + the points over Abilene Christian. Lamar is 2-23 this season, but 0-23 vs. Division 1 foes. Obviously, they've been non-competitive. But one of the few games where they were ultra-competitive in defeat was against these Wildcats, on January 29. They were an 11.5-point home dog, but lost by just three, 85-82. That narrow loss will serve Lamar in good stead tonight, and give them confidence. We'll grab the big number tonight with the Cardinals. |
02-24-22 | Idaho State +3.5 v. Northern Arizona | Top | 70-66 | Win | 100 | 8 h 42 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Idaho State Bengals + the points over Northern Arizona. The Lumberjacks have burned money as a home favorite, as they've covered just 11 of their last 40, including just 4 of 26 vs. foes off a SU loss. Take Idaho State + the points. |
02-24-22 | Wild v. Maple Leafs -140 | Top | 1-3 | Win | 100 | 7 h 5 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Maple Leafs over the Minnesota Wild. With their overtime loss to the Blue Jackets on Tuesday, the Maple Leafs are in the midst of just their second three-game losing streak of the season. Things don't get any easier for them tonight as they face the Minnesota Wild who have almost an identical record to that of Toronto. At least the Leafs are back home tonight, where they've lost only six times all season. This is a revenge situation for Toronto as in the only previous meeting of these two this season, the Wild came out on top in a shootout at home back on December 4. Despite its success lately, the Wild is just 2-5 in its last seven as a road underdog while the Leafs are 23-9 in their last 32 as a home favorite. Take Toronto. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
02-24-22 | Maryland v. Indiana -6 | Top | 64-74 | Win | 100 | 7 h 56 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Indiana Hoosiers minus the points over Maryland. The Hoosiers are on a 5-game SU/ATS losing streak, while Maryland won + covered 2 straight. We'll lay the points with the ice cold Hoosiers, as they fall into a 59.6% ATS system of mine which plays on certain .555 (or better) favorites of -6 (or more) points off 4 SU/ATS losses. The Terps are a poor 8-18 ATS off a point spread win. Lay the points with Indiana. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-24-22 | IUPU Ft Wayne v. Oakland -5.5 | Top | 81-70 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 46 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Oakland Golden Grizzlies minus the points over Fort Wayne. The Mastodons are on a 7-game win streak. But this hot streak has placed Fort Wayne into a negative 50-98 ATS system of mine. Meanwhile, Oakland comes into this game off back to back upset losses, but now falls into a 152-86 system that plays on certain teams off 2+ upset. Lay the points with the Grizzlies. |
02-24-22 | Robert Morris +10.5 v. Northern Kentucky | Top | 64-78 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 41 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Robert Morris Colonials + the points over Northern Kentucky. The Norse have covered just 5 of their last 20 as home favorites, including 0-7 when laying more than 7 points. That doesn't bode well for Darrin Horn's men tonight. Moreover, the Colonials are 6-1 ATS their last seven as underdogs off back to back losses. Grab the points with Robert Morris. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-24-22 | William & Mary v. Northeastern -7.5 | Top | 28-62 | Win | 100 | 6 h 16 m | Show |
At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Northeastern Huskies minus the points over William & Mary. On New Year's Eve, the Tribe upset the Huskies, 71-70, as a double-digit underdog. Take Northeastern in this revenge match, as William & Mary is a wallet-breaking 8-15 ATS off a loss, and 22-44 ATS when playing a revenge-minded foe. Lay the points. |
02-23-22 | Bucknell v. Army -6 | Top | 60-73 | Win | 100 | 10 h 57 m | Show |
At 6 pm (note the early start time), our selection is on the Army Black Knights minus the points over Bucknell. The Bison come into this game off a 92-89 win over Lafayette. But Bucknell's a poor 0-6 ATS after scoring 85+ points. Meanwhile, Army will play its final home game of the season this evening, and look to snap a 6-game losing streak in the process. It lost 83-67 at American on Saturday, which dropped its season record to 13-15, but is 15-5 ATS off a road defeat. Army's been installed as a home favorite, and already defeated the 7-21 Bison by 7 points in Lewisburg back in January. We'll lay the points with the Black Knights, as losing NCAA teams have gone 27-9 ATS at home when favored, and playing their final home game of the season off 5+ losses. Additionally, the Black Knights are 7-2 SU when playing their final home game of the season, while Bucknell's 6-19 SU when facing a foe playing its final home game. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-22-22 | Oklahoma +10.5 v. Texas Tech | Top | 42-66 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 56 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Oklahoma Sooners + the points over Texas Tech. These two teams met just 13 days ago, and Oklahoma routed the Red Raiders, 70-55, in Norman. Since that game, however, the Sooners have dropped three straight, while Texas Tech has won three in a row. Unfortunately for Texas Tech, it's a poor 3-15 ATS off three straight wins. Meanwhile, Oklahoma is 13-0 ATS as an underdog of +2 (or more) points vs. foes off 3+ wins. Take the Sooners. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-22-22 | Nebraska +11.5 v. Northwestern | Top | 65-77 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 55 m | Show |
At 8 pm, our selection is on the Nebraska Cornhuskers + the points over Northwestern. The Wildcats are 12-13 on the season, and 5-11 in Big 10 Conference play. And they're favored by double-digits against a foe they already soundly defeated, 87-63, less than three weeks ago. The motivation will be on the Nebraska side this evening. So, we'll happily take the double-digits against a Northwestern club which is now 0-12 ATS its last 12 regular season Big 10 games as a favorite of more than 4 points. |
02-22-22 | Maple Leafs -210 v. Blue Jackets | Top | 3-4 | Loss | -210 | 10 h 2 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Maple Leafs over the Columbus Blue Jackets. Just because the Maple Leafs have one of the best records in the East, don't assume they will sit quietly coming up to the trade deadline. This is a team with plenty of high-end talent but one that needs depth at pretty much every position. They'd like to add a defenseman to ease the burden on their young blue line. And #1 net-minder Jack Campbell has looked a bit more human lately, so maybe Toronto would like some insurance in goal as well. When Campbell got his third start in five days on Saturday, that shakiness was apparent as he allowed five goals on 33 shots in Toronto's loss to St. Louis. The Leafs will step down-in-class tonight against a Blue Jackets team whose last four victories have come against the Blackhawks, Canadiens, and Sabres (twice). So the fact that Columbus is a hot team lately is more than a little misleading. The Leafs are 5-0 in their last five against the Metropolitan and 15-3 in their last 18 vs. teams from the East. Take Toronto. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
02-22-22 | Georgia +12 v. Texas A&M | Top | 77-91 | Loss | -115 | 10 h 56 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Georgia Bulldogs + the points over Texas A/M. The Bulldogs were blown out, 85-68, on Saturday by Ole Miss. But SEC Conference double-digit dogs off losses by 12+ points have gone 144-85 ATS in conference play, including 69-32 ATS off back to back SU/ATS losses. And the Aggies are a horrid 5-17 ATS as favorites of -9 (or more) points. It's true that A&M bested the Bulldogs in Athens, in early January. But the Bulldogs are 13-0 ATS in the regular season as underdogs of more than 7 points when playing with revenge from a loss earlier in the season. Take Georgia + the points. |
02-21-22 | New Mexico State v. Seattle University +3 | Top | 68-55 | Loss | -110 | 12 h 48 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the Seattle Redhawks over New Mexico State. Both teams enter this game with 12-2 records in WAC Conference play, so the winner will move to the top of the Conference standings. Seattle is 16-1 SU and 10-4-1 ATS at home this season, and it's 20-9-1 ATS its last 30 home games. Even better: WAC Conference home underdogs (or PK) have gone 35-14 ATS in matchups between winning conference foes, if both teams entered the game off a SU win. Take Seattle. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

02-21-22 | Maple Leafs -1.5 v. Canadiens | Top | 2-5 | Loss | -135 | 9 h 51 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Toronto Maple Leafs minus 1.5 goals over Montreal. The Leafs avenged their Playoff ouster at the hands of the Habs last season, with a 2-1 victory on Opening Night. But the Maple Leafs will no doubt want to beat their rivals more than just one time after their disastrous Playoffs showing last year. So, I expect a solid effort from Toronto tonight, and the fact that it gave up six goals two nights ago to St. Louis should serve as extra motivation. Montreal is 12-20 (minus 13.6 net games on the moneyline) off back to back losses, and 4-15 (minus 8.0 net games) when playing with revenge. And it's 1-9 at home when the Over/Under has been 6+ goals. But rather than lay more than -300 on the moneyline, we'll take Toronto on the goal line for this game. Lay the 1.5 goals with the Maple Leafs. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

02-21-22 | UTEP +5.5 v. Middle Tennessee | Top | 59-77 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 45 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Texas El Paso Miners + the points over Middle Tennessee St. The Blue Raiders return home off back to back road wins over Florida International and Florida Atlantic -- the latter win of the upset variety. And MTSU has covered the spread in its last four games, overall. But this hot streak has placed the Blue Raiders into several negative systems of mine, including ones with 24-89, 47-114 and 101-195 ATS records. UTEP is also playing very good basketball, with eight wins in its last 10 games (7-3 ATS), including 4-0 ATS its last four on the road. The Miners blew out Southern Miss, 84-70, on Saturday, and are 13-7 ATS off a double-digit win. Meanwhile, the Blue Raiders have covered just 10 of 30 vs. foes off a double-digit win. Grab the points with UTEP. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

02-20-22 | Lehigh v. Loyola Maryland -4.5 | Top | 42-69 | Win | 100 | 9 h 13 m | Show |
At 5 pm, our selection is on the Loyola-Maryland Greyhounds minus the points over Lehigh. The Greyhounds will be playing their final home game of the season tonight, and are currently tied for 5th place in the tightly-packed Patriot League standings. With a difficult road game against 2nd place Navy on deck, the Greyhounds know they need to win today's game to stay ahead of Army and Holy Cross in the race for a top-6 seed, and a bye into the quarterfinals. It's true that the Mountain Hawks come into this game off an impressive, 86-77 win over Bucknell. But Lehigh's top two offensive performances this season were both against Bucknell, as they also scored 97 vs. the Bison back on January 13, so they clearly match up well vs. that opponent. The bad news for Lehigh, here, is that it's a horrid 0-13 SU/ATS after scoring 80+ points in its previous game. Lay the points with Loyola Maryland. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

02-20-22 | Hurricanes v. Penguins -121 | Top | 4-3 | Loss | -121 | 5 h 17 m | Show |
At 1:05 pm, our selection is on the Pittsburgh Penguins over the Carolina Hurricanes. As they often do, the Pittsburgh Penguins got off to a slow start this season and there were many people thinking that this would be the season in which the age of their star players would catch up to the five-time Stanley Cup Champions. But also as they often do, the Pens have rallied after that slow start and now they look like a team that could not only win their division, but one that could make another trip to the Finals. Since December 4, the Penguins have gone 21-7, taking them to a tie with tonight's opponents atop the Metropolitan Division. Surprisingly, this is the first meeting of these two in almost two years (March 8, 2020 -- a 6-2 'Canes win here in Pittsburgh). The Pens lost to the Maple Leafs in their last game on Thursday, 4-1, and they are 7-0 in their last seven games playing with two days of rest. The Hurricanes are 5-11 in the last 16 meetings with the Pens and 6-13 in the last 19 here at PPG Paints Arena. The favorite is also 12-4 in the last 16 meetings. Take Pittsburgh. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.

02-19-22 | Long Beach State v. UC-Santa Barbara -5 | Top | 71-84 | Win | 100 | 11 h 48 m | Show |
At 10 pm, our selection is on the Cal Santa Barbara Gauchos minus the points over Long Beach State. The Beach defeated the Gauchos earlier this season. But Big West conference teams on 3-game SU/ATS (or better) win streaks are an ugly 29% since 1990 when facing revenge-minded foes they defeated earlier in the season, if they weren't favored by 3+ points in the current game, including 0-9 SU and 0-8-1 ATS their last nine. That doesn't bode well for Long Beach tonight. Nor does the fact that UCSB is 22-12 ATS at home when playing with revenge and priced from -3 to -6. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |

02-19-22 | Bruins -170 v. Senators | Top | 3-2 | Win | 100 | 7 h 16 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Boston Bruins over the Ottawa Senators. The Bruins' trip to the Big Apple did not go as planned, as they lost to both the Rangers and Islanders by a combined score of 6-2. They are hoping a trip up north of the border will get them back on track. But the Bruins won't be taking their hosts lightly as the Senators have won four of their last seven, including victories over the Caps (4-1) and Hurricanes (4-3). Let's not forget, however, that this is still a team that is 18-29 overall and just 9-15 here at home. The Sens are also a group with a ton of injuries right now, including #1 Center Josh Norris (shoulder), #1 RW Drake Batherson (ankle), #1 D-man Thomas Chabot (upper body), and #1 Goalie Matt Murray (undisclosed). The Bruins are 13-3 in the last 16 meetings with the Senators including a 2-0 shutout right here at Canadian Tire Center just one week ago. In fact, the Bruins are 7-1 in the last eight meetings in Ottawa. Boston lost its last game 4-1 and it is 7-1 in its last eight immediately following a loss by three or more goals. Take the Bruins. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
02-19-22 | Stetson v. Liberty -14.5 | Top | 82-88 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 49 m | Show |
At 7 pm, our selection is on the Liberty Flames minus the points over Stetson. Liberty looks to bounce back off its upset loss to North Florida, and will welcome the 11-15 Hatters to Lynchburg. Liberty already smashed Stetson earlier this year, on the road in DeLand, as a 6.5-point road favorite. Now, they're back home, where they've won 46 of 47 games since Feb 2, 2019 (and have covered 64%). We'll lay the double-digits, as Liberty falls into several of my very best systems that play on certain teams off upset losses, including a 94-49 ATS angle, as well as a 60-20 ATS system. This will be a blowout. Lay the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-19-22 | Prairie View A&M -6.5 v. Arkansas-Pine Bluff | Top | 92-84 | Win | 100 | 7 h 44 m | Show |
At 6:30 pm, our selection is on the Prairie View A&M Panthers minus the points over Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Golden Lions have covered just 30 of 76 as an underdog, and are also 8-19 ATS their last 27 off back to back ATS wins. With Pine Bluff in off back to back ATS wins over Alabama State and Alabama A&M, we'll fade them as a home underdog on Saturday. Lay the points with Prairie View. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-19-22 | Kennesaw State +6 v. Jacksonville | Top | 56-59 | Win | 100 | 6 h 15 m | Show |
At 6 pm, our selection is on the Kennesaw State Owls plus the points over Jacksonville. The Dolphins enter this game on a 7-game ATS win streak, and are now 17-8 SU and 17-4 ATS. But Jacksonville's hot streak has triggered several negative systems of mine, including one with a 101-194 ATS record since 1990. Take Kennesaw + the points. |
02-19-22 | North Texas v. UAB -4 | Top | 58-57 | Loss | -110 | 5 h 50 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the UAB Blazers minus the points over North Texas. This is a great Conference USA match-up between the 20-6 Blazers, and 19-4 Mean Green. UAB already defeated North Texas, 69-63, in Denton. And we'll look for UAB to sweep the season series this afternoon, as it's 15-1 straight-up at home this season, and has a relative home/away point spread differential of +7.44. Even better: dating back to Feb. 12, 2020, the Blazers are 33-3 SU at home, and 22-10 ATS. Take UAB to blow out North Texas. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-19-22 | Towson v. College of Charleston +3.5 | Top | 80-77 | Win | 100 | 4 h 16 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Charleston College Cougars + the points over Towson. The Cougars were upset here, at home, by James Madison two nights ago, which lowered their record to 14-11. We'll look for Pat Kelsey's men to bounce back as a home dog, as the Cougars are 76-41 ATS when they're an underdog of +3 (or more) points, when they've owned a winning record. Take the Cougars. |
02-19-22 | Eastern Illinois v. Tennessee State -10.5 | Top | 49-63 | Win | 100 | 4 h 15 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Tennessee State Tigers minus the points over Eastern Illinois. The Panthers upset the Tigers last month, as an 8-point home dog. But that upset has triggered a 164-92 ATS system of mine which plays on certain revenge-minded teams that were upset by their opponent earlier in the season. Even better: revengers have gone 17-7 ATS vs. Eastern Illinois. Lay the points with Tennessee State. |
02-19-22 | Middle Tennessee v. Florida Atlantic -4 | Top | 87-79 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 12 m | Show |
At 4 pm, our selection is on the Florida Atlantic Owls minus the points over Middle Tennessee St. The Owls have dominated as a favorite, including 12-1 ATS their last 13 when favored by 1.5 (or more) points against a conference rival. Lay the points with Florida Atlantic. |
02-19-22 | St. Thomas +19.5 v. South Dakota State | Top | 60-79 | Win | 100 | 4 h 51 m | Show |
At 3 pm, our selection is on the St. Thomas Tommies + the points over S. Dakota St. The Tommies are on an improbable 11-game SU/ATS losing streak, and will face a Jackrabbits team on a 15-game win streak (9-6 ATS). The knee-jerk reaction might be to go against the ice-cold Tommies. But their long ATS losing streak has actually created point spread value. Indeed, teams off 10+ straight-up losses have covered 60% since 1990 vs. foes off 10+ straight-up wins. So, we will happily grab the double-digits, as the Tommies also fall into a 780-584 ATS system of mine, as well as 22-7 and 438-240-13 ATS angles. Take St. Thomas + the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
02-19-22 | Northeastern +11.5 v. Hofstra | Top | 73-76 | Win | 100 | 2 h 19 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Northeastern Huskies + the points over Hofstra. Northeastern has lost its last two games - both SU and ATS. But Colonial Athletic Ass'n road underdogs of +9 (or more) points have gone 86-52 ATS if they were off back to back SU/ATS losses, including 38-15 ATS vs. foes off back to back wins. Take Northeastern + the double-digits. |
02-19-22 | Oklahoma v. Iowa State -1.5 | Top | 54-75 | Win | 100 | 2 h 18 m | Show |
At 2 pm, our selection is on the Iowa State Cyclones minus the points over Oklahoma. After upsetting Texas Tech, 70-55, on Feb. 9, the Sooners have dropped back to back games to Kansas and Texas. I don't look for things to get better this afternoon in Ames, as Oklahoma is a dreadful 13-36 ATS away from home off back to back losses. Take Iowa State minus the points. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. |
02-19-22 | Central Connecticut State +15.5 v. Wagner | Top | 68-78 | Win | 100 | 1 h 19 m | Show |
At 1 pm, our selection is on the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils + the points over Wagner. After scoring 91 points in a win over Fairleigh Dickinson, the Blue Devils have hit the offensive skids, and have managed to tally just 60, 50, and 61 points in their last three games. But Central Connecticut State is 7-0 ATS its last seven (and 10-1 ATS its last 11) off 3 games where they failed to score 67+ points. And the Blue Devils also fall into a 701-491 ATS system of mine which plays on certain teams off back to back SU/ATS losses. Grab the double-digits with Central Connecticut State. |
02-18-22 | Predators v. Hurricanes -158 | Top | 3-5 | Win | 100 | 14 h 50 m | Show |
At 7:05 pm, our selection is on the Carolina Hurricanes over the Nashville Predators. The Hurricanes come into tonight's game off of back-to-back stinging 3-2 defeats. Those two one-goal losses came against two very good teams in the Wild and Panthers (the latter in OT), so the 'Canes will be stepping down-in-class tonight to face the struggling Predators, who visit Raleigh for the first time this season. In fact, the last time Nashville was here was in last year's post-season when the Predators lost to the 'Canes in the first round, 4 games to 2. The Preds come into tonight having lost three straight -- the last two of which were at home but they've had their struggles on the road this season as well. And Carolina -- in particular -- is not a place that has been kind to the Preds as they have won just three times in their last 16 trips here going all the way back to the 2012 season. The home team is 11-2 in the last 13 meetings of these two teams, while the favorite is 11-4 in the last 15. And Carolina is also 7-1 off back to back 1-goal losses. Take the Hurricanes. As always, good luck...Al McMordie. |
