07-04-25 Tigers v. Guardians +105 Top 2-1 Loss -100 9 h 14 m Show

Detroit at Cleveland 7:10 ET

Watchdogs over Tigers - Cleveland is dropping games in style having lost seven straight games and were shutout four times over this span including a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Chicago Cubs. With Luis Ortiz under investigation for possible by MLB for unusual activity he shared with another man on an off-shore sports book account. Detroit has dropped their last two and will start Reese Olson (4-3, 2.96 ERA) will make his first start since coming off of the IL which he went on May 18. Slade Cecconi (3-3, 3.64) and he won his lone start against the Tigers who he defeated May 23 going six innings allowing just one run. Take CLEVELAND!

07-04-25 Rays v. Twins -109 3-4 Win 100 6 h 14 m Show

Tampa Bay at Minnesota 4:10 ET

Twins over Rays - Minnesota returns home after a six game road trip after having lost five of their past six while Tampa Bay ended a three game slide with a 6-5 win over the Athletics. The Rays will embark on a 10-game road trip before the all-star break. The Twins will send Chris Paddack (3-7, 4.70 ERA) to the hill and in his lone appearances against the Rays last Sunday he gave up three runs in 4.2 innings receiving the loss. Zack Littell (7-7, 3.61) and he is 1-2 with a 3.70 ERA against the Twins. Take MINNESOTA!

07-02-25 Brewers v. Mets -123 7-2 Loss -123 3 h 51 m Show

Milwaukee at New York 7:10 ET

Mets over Brewers - I have got to give credit to Freddy Peralta (7-4, 2.78 ERA) who at 29 and in his eighth season is starting to turn into a tough guy to hit against. So far this season in 88 innings he has surrendered just 64 hits. Add that he is 3-0 with a 2.60 ERA in 17 innings against New York with 20 strikeouts. The fumbling, stumbling Mets will send Clay Holmes (8-4, 2.97 ERA) who has been transformed into a starter after going seven years in relief with the New York Yankees. Except for the occasional long ball he’s showing the Yankees they should be more open minded. Take NEW YORK METS!

06-30-25 Orioles v. Rangers +101 10-6 Loss -100 11 h 8 m Show

Baltimore at Texas 8:05 ET

Rangers over Orioles- These two midland clubs (at this point anyway) met last week in Baltimore where Texas was able to win the series winning two of the three meetings. Both squads will send out left-handers as the Orioles will start Trevor Rodgers (1-0, 1.62 ERA) against veteran Patrick Corbin (4-7, 4.74) who clashed last Monday as Rodgers won 6-0. Rodgers who is 1-1 with a 2.68 ERA in three career starts allowed just three hits and walked no one while Corbin allowed five runs and nine hits in five innings with no walks and six strike outs. His lifetime record against the Orioles is s dismal 1-6 with an ERA of 5.57 in 10 appearances. Still, in this re-match the Rangers rise. Take TEXAS!

06-29-25 Dodgers v. Royals +104 5-1 Loss -100 4 h 12 m Show

LA Dodgers at Kansas City 2:10 ET

Royals over Dodgers - After scoring just four runs in six games while losing all six Kansas City finally got some hits and scored a 9-5 victory yesterday over the Dodgers. The Royals will send out Kris Bubic (6-5, 2.18 ERA) to the mound and he has been outstanding this season having his best career year to this point already matching their single season win total. Los Angeles has no listed a starter and although the Royals are just 4-18 at home since May 9 including yesterday’s win. Sunday they make it two in-a-row. Take KANSAS CITY!

06-29-25 Phillies v. Braves -150 2-1 Loss -150 3 h 51 m Show

Philadelphia at Atlanta 1:23 ET

Braves over Phillies - Atlanta keeps trotting along and the media is waiting for them to get to .500 so the can hype their chances, but, they fought back from 0-7 and reached the breakwater mark before and then fell 10 games under within two weeks. Philadelphia has moved into first place in the NL East by default as the Mets have lost 13 of the last 16 and it doesn’t take much to gain on that. The Phillies are starting Ranger Suarez (6-2, 2.09 ERA) and he has been stellar in 10 starts allowing only 51 hits in 65 innings with only four HR’s. His lifetime mark against Atlanta is 3-4 with an 3.71 ERA in 20 appearances the last 10 as a  starter. Spence Strider (3-5, 4.04) lost his first five decisions and has put together a three game win streak that he will improve on today. Take ATLANTA!

06-28-25 Cubs +104 v. Astros 12-3 Win 104 8 h 1 m Show

Chicago Cubs at Houston 7:15 ET

Cubs over Astros - The Astros started the season slowly but have picked up momentum and are now 16 games over .500 while the Cubs who are 14 games above .500 have been consistent all year and are 14 games over .500. Colin Rea (4-3, 4.42 ERA) gets the nod for Chicago and has knocked around a bit this year surrendering 10 more hits than innings pitched including giving up 13 home runs. Lance McCullers (1-2, 4.91) is starting for Houston and he is struggling with arm problems and control issues. Tke CHICAGO CUBS!

06-28-25 Blue Jays v. Red Sox +106 1-15 Win 106 5 h 0 m Show

Toronto at Boston 4:10 ET

Red Sox over Blue Jays - Toronto has had their way against Boston the past two years having won the last three meetings and seven of nine including a 9-0 beating last night. 06-28-25 Rays v. Orioles -112 Top 11-3 Loss -112 5 h 5 m Show

Tampa Bay at Baltimore 4:05 ET

Orioles over Rays - The Orioles who just two short seasons ago had the best record of all of baseball but, it appears that the window of opportunity for Baltimore has closed. Friday the O’s scored 22 runs after trailing 6-0 and have gained confidence and momentum. usually after a team has an offensive outburst like they had I look to play against them but this was an uplifting win. Take BALTIMORE!

06-27-25 Mariners -104 v. Rangers 7-6 Win 100 9 h 25 m Show

Seattle at Texas 8:05 ET

Mariners over Rangers - Seattle lost to Texas in May ending a five game series winning streak but have still won 8-of-the-10 meetings. The Mariners will send Logan Gilbert (2-2, 3.12 ERA) to the hill and in just eight starts he has allowed just 29 hits in 40 innings with 60 strikeouts with just seven base-on-balls. Texas will send Nathan Eovaldi (5-0, 2.95) to the mound and he is 2-4, with an ERA of 5.31 in 12 appearances against the Mariners while Gilbert is 5-2, with a 2.54 ERA in 14 games against the Rangers. Take SEATTLE!

Toronto at Boston 7:10 ET

Red Sox over Blue Jays - Boston just completed a nine-game road trip by losing the final five games getting swept by the Angels. With a day off to regroup Boston will send Brayan Bello (3-2, 3.31 ERA) to the hill. In his last four starts Bello has pitched at least six innings with an EA of 2.49. Toronto is to start Jose Berrios (3-3, 3.51) who is 5-6 3.60 lifetime against the Red Sox, Valdimir Guerrero is questionable because of an injured fingered. Take BOSTON!

06-27-25 Rays v. Orioles +118 8-22 Win 118 9 h 35 m Show

Tampa Bay at Baltimore 7:05 ET

Orioles over Rays - I can’t stand it…this Rays drive team me nuts because I just do not see how they win. And that is what they do year after year while I expect them to fold each season and right now they have the best record in baseball the past month and are a plus $1,032 at $100 a game. Tampa will start Ryan Pepiot (5-6, 3.04 ERA) gets the nod for the Rays while Baltimore will send out 35-year old rookie Tomoyuki Sugano (5-4, 3.55) when has pitched well for this struggling bird team except for allowing 14 homers. Still, take BALTIMORE!

06-26-25 Braves +102 v. Mets 0-4 Loss -100 9 h 27 m Show

Atlanta at New York Mets 7:10 ET

Braves over Mets - Over the years Atlanta has had their way against the Mets continuing this season as well winning the first six meetings before New York posted a 7-3 win yesterday. Griffin Canning (7-3, 3.91 ERA) will get the start for the Mets and he has already matched his single season win record with seven and I expect a little regression here. The Braves send out Grant Holmes (4-6, 3.71) who against New York has one appearance allowing just one hit in four scoreless innings. Take ATLANTA!

06-25-25 Blue Jays -105 v. Guardians 4-5 Loss -105 9 h 39 m Show

Toronto at Cleveland 6:40 ET

Blue Jays over Watch Dogs - Toronto’s Max Scherzer (0-0, 6.00 ERA) is back in action tonight after a pair of rehab starts at Triple-A Buffalo throwing 8 2/3 innings allowing just two runs. He struck out 12 and walked only two and held opponents to a .167 batting average and is 9-5 with an ERA of 4.05 in 21 appearances. Cleveland will start Gavin Williams (5-3, 3.58) who dominated the Blue Jays although he has only two career outings he struck out 21 in 11 innings with a 1.64 ERA. Great numbers but not today. Take TORONTO!

06-24-25 Mariners v. Twins -105 6-5 Loss -105 9 h 55 m Show

Seattle at Minnesota 7:40 ET

Twins over Mariners - Minnesota is in the middle of a terrible slump that has seen them lose their last four games and 10 of their past 11. In their last four games they have surrendered 46 runs while scoring just 16 getting outscored 12.5 runs to four runs a game. Seattle has won the last three meetings but the Twins had won five of six meetings before this season began. Seattle will send Luis Castillo (4-5, 3.38 ERA) who is 1-2 with a 4.32 ERA lifetime against the Twins. Minny will counter with Chris Paddack (3-6, 4.48) who is 4-1 with a 2.17 ERA against the Mariners. Take MINNESOTA!

06-24-25 Blue Jays -119 v. Guardians Top 10-6 Win 100 8 h 0 m Show

Toronto at Cleveland 6:40 ET

Blue Jays over Naps - Cleveland has gotten the best of the series between these two having won the last two meetings this season and are 5-of-6 and 7-of-10 over the Blue Jays. In a duel between left-handers Ohio born Eric Lauer (3-1, 2.29 ERA) will get the start for Toronto and Logan Allen (5-4, 4.21) will climb the hill for Cleveland. Allen is 1-2 with a 4.12 ERA against the Blue Jays while Lauer has won his past two starts. Take TORONTO!

06-23-25 Rangers v. Orioles -123 Top 0-6 Win 100 9 h 5 m Show

Texas at Baltimore 6:35 ET

Orioles over Rangers - To date these are a pair of the more disappointing clubs if you are willing to wager on them everyday. Texas who two short years ago won the World Series is at a minus $890 while Baltimore is a minus $1,206 at $100 wager per game. It looked like the Orioles were about to make their move winning six of eight and then came the series at Yankee Stadium where they dropped their last two games. The Rangers have been nothing special since their championship run and will use veteran Patrick Corbin (4-6, 3.91 ERA) who’s career record against Baltimore is 1-5 with an ERA of 5.21 in nine appearances. The Orange birds will send out Trevor Rodgers (0-0, 3.12) who is 0-1 with a 4.38 ERA in just 12 innings work. Take BALTIMORE!

06-22-25 Royals -107 v. Padres Top 2-3 Loss -107 5 h 38 m Show

Kansas City at San Diego 4:10 ET

Royals over Pades - Kansas City will start Seth Lugo (4-5, 3.05 ET) and against the Padres in 12 career appearances is 2-0 with a 3.00 ERA. Last night San Diego defeated the Royals and snapped their four game winning streak.  The Padres will send out Randy Vasquez (3-4, 3.70) who hasn’t taken a start (15 of them) beyond five innings. Look for the Royals to rebound and get the win. Take KANSAS CITY!

06-21-25 Brewers v. Twins -124 Top 9-0 Loss -124 10 h 45 m Show

Milwaukee at Minnesota 2:10 ET

Twins over Brewers - In five seasons since leaving the Chicago Cubs. the Brewers starting pitcher Jose Quintana (4-2, 3.35 ERA has pitched for six teams and posted just one winning season (3-2 in ‘22 with Cardinals). Jose is 8-8with a 3.96 ERA in 22 appearances. Minnesota is sending Simeon Woods Richardson (2-3, 5.13) had his beat outing of the year last time out shutting out Houston over five innings allowing just one hit. SWR hasn’t won since April 26 and is in a great sot for the Twins. Take MINNESOTA!

06-20-25 Guardians v. A's +109 1-5 Win 109 12 h 35 m Show

Cleveland at West Sacramento 10;05 ET

A’s over Watch Dogs - This will be just the second time that I have posted the A’s as a selection and I only hope that this time it turns out better for us. Cleveland will start Tanner Bibee (4-6, 3.79 ERA) and he is amid a four-game winless streak and he is 1-0 with a 4.56 ERA in two starts against the A’s. Jeffrey Springs (5-5, 4.52) start for the home team and he has gone six starts without a victory although he is 0-1 with a 2.63 ERA in four appearances against the former Tribesman. Take A’S!

06-19-25 Orioles +122 v. Rays 4-1 Win 122 9 h 50 m Show

Baltimore at Tampa Bay 7:35 ET

Orioles over Rays - Talk about blowing leads, the Orioles scored eight runs in the second inning yesterday and did not score again and Tampa Bay plated 12 runs and posted their largest comeback win in franchise history. Today, Tampa Bay who has won 20 of 27 games will send Drew Rasmussen (6-4, 2.55 ERA) to the hill and he is 2-0 with a 2.89 EAR in eight appearances against the Orioles. The O’s will start Greg Morton (3-7, 6.05) who started 0-7 with an ERA of 9.38 and has now won his last three starts with an ERA of 2.45. Take BALTIMORE!

06-18-25 Royals -116 v. Rangers 6-3 Win 100 10 h 33 m Show

Kansas City at Texas 8:05 ET

Royals over Rangers - Kansas City won for just the second time in 10 outings yesterday defeating Texas 6-1 ending a six game losing streak. The Royals will send Kris Bubic (5-4, 1.92 ERA) to the mound and he has been outstanding this season. In the past three season’s he has won just four while losing 16. But, his ERA has been lowered by almost a full run every year since 2022. Veteran Patrick Corbin (4-5, 3.66) will start for the Rangers and he hasn’t had a winning season since 2019. Take KANSAS CITY!

06-18-25 Orioles +103 v. Rays Top 8-12 Loss -100 9 h 9 m Show

Baltimore at Tampa Bay 7:35 ET

Orioles over Rays - I love this kind of situation, where a veteran pitcher returns to the ‘Big’s after a poor rehab performance in the minors (Norfolk) where he went 0-3 with a 5:45 ERA. Trevor Rogers (0-0. 0.00 ERA) gets the nod and he has a 3.00 ERA with no decisions against the Rays while Tampa Bay starter Tai Bradley (4-5, 4.35 ERA) is 1-2 with a 6.52 ERA against the Orioles. Take BALTIMORE!

06-18-25 Diamondbacks -104 v. Blue Jays 1-8 Loss -104 8 h 30 m Show

Arizona at Toronto 7:05 ET

Diamondbacks over Blue Jays - Yesterday, Toronto may have wont the battle in their 5-4 win over Arizona but they lost a pair of center fielders to injury last night. They already had their starting center fielder sidelined and thing are getting pretty thin. The Snakes will send Eduardo Rodriguez (2-3, 6.77 ERA) to the hill and he is 5-6 with an ERA of 4.97 in 18 games against the Blue Jays while the host club will start Eric Lauer (2-1, 2.37) and he is 3-4 lifetime against the D’backs. Take ARIZONA!

06-17-25 Orioles +107 v. Rays Top 5-1 Win 107 9 h 25 m Show

Baltimore at Tampa Bay 7:35 ET

Orioles over Rays - Tampa Bay has won the past three meetings including a 7-1 victory on Monday and have won their last four and six of the last eight games overall. Yesterday’s loss to the Rays ended Baltimore’s mini 3-game winning streak. Today, the Orioles send Dean Kremer (5-7, 4.99 ERA) to the mound and he is 2-1 with a 2.31 ERA lifetime against the Rays. Zack Littell (6-6, 3.84) gets the nod for the Rays and he is 1-2 with a 2.73 ERA against the O’s. This time it is BALTIMORE!

06-17-25 Twins +108 v. Reds 5-6 Loss -100 9 h 42 m Show

Minnesota at Cincinnati 7:10 ET

Twins over Reds - These two mid-tier clubs are just a half-game apart with Cincinnati being two games over .500 while Minnesota is one-game over the break even mark. The Reds will start Andrew Abbott (6-1, 1.87 ERA) and he is off of his first complete game shutout allowing just three hits in Cleveland one week ago. Minnesota will counter with David Festa (1-1, 4.76) and will will help end the Twins four game slide. Take MINNESOTA!

06-17-25 Diamondbacks +109 v. Blue Jays 4-5 Loss -100 9 h 48 m Show

Arizona at Toronto 7:05 ET

Diamondbacks 0ver Blue Jays - Arizona missed sweeping their six game home stand as they fell Sunday to San Diego. The Diamondbacks will send Brandon Pfaadt (8-4, 5.50 ERA) to the mound while Toronto will send veteran Chris Bassitt (7-3, 3.70) to the bump. The Blue Jays have scored just six runs in their last three games and the D’backs are warming up in the desert. Take ARIZONA!

06-16-25 Phillies v. Marlins +103 5-2 Loss -100 9 h 58 m Show

Philadelphia at Miami 6:40 ET

Marlins over Phillies - Miami of all clubs has won three straight games all wins over Washington after having being swept three games at home by Colorado. The Marlins will send former Cy Young award winner Sandy Alcantara (3-7, 7.14 ERA) who posted two straight quality starts after gone eight straight non-quality starts where he surrendered 41 runs in just 35.1 innings. He has also struggled against the Phillies having lost his last five decisions against them and eight of nine. But, in his last two starts has thrown consecutive quality starts allowing just two runs in his past 12 innings giving up just seven hits. Take MIAMI!

06-15-25 Padres +117 v. Diamondbacks Top 8-2 Win 117 6 h 36 m Show

San Diego at Arizona  4:10 ET

Padres over Diamondbacks - San Diego’s Nick Pivetta has faced division opponents San Francisco and Los Angeles his last two times out and they knocked him around for five runs each. Now, he’s up against division for Arizona who he hasn’t faced since 2023 with Boston  he has 14 strikeouts in 11.2 innings against them. The D’backs Merrill Kelly (6-2, 3.18) has been as sharp as ever not giving up a run in his last two starts against Seattle and Atlanta going 13 total innings with 15 K’s and just five hits. They both come back to the middle. Take SAN DIEGO!

06-14-25 Guardians v. Mariners -126 Top 3-4 Win 100 12 h 60 m Show

Cleveland at Seattle 9:40 ET

Mariners over Watchdogs - Both of these clubs are hovering around .500 with them being just one-game apart. Although their record are similar the bookies with their lines have Cleveland up about $200 and the Mariners down $225 for the year. Seattle is sliding having lost three straight and eight of nine and will send George Kirby (1-3, 6.53 ERA) up against Tanner Bibee (4-6, 3.81). Both of these throwers have struggled this season to date and look to turn things around right now. Kirby won his last time out after starting the year with three straight losses. Take SEATTLE!

06-13-25 Padres v. Diamondbacks -125 1-5 Win 100 11 h 15 m Show

San Diego at Arizona 9:40 ET

Diamondbacks over Padres - Arizona has won seven of their last 10 games and will send out Ryan Nelson (3-3, 4.60 ERA) to the hill and he will be opposed by Padres right-hander Stephen Kolek (3-1, 3.00). San Diego have won 11 of 19 (not so special) since losing six straight. The D’backs have won three straight and this will be their fourth. Take ARIZONA!

06-12-25 Cardinals -126 v. Brewers 0-6 Loss -126 10 h 22 m Show

St. Louis at Milwaukee 7:40 ET

Cardinals over Brewers - I like this opportunity to play on Cardinals Sonny Gray (7-1, 3.35 ERA) who might be one of the toughest right-handers to hit against with 81 K’s in 75 innings allowing only 70 hits. His mound opponent will be Jacob Misiorowski (who s making his MLB debut. He should learn a lot watching Gray. The Red Birds are a half game ahead of the Brewers. Take  ST LOUIS!

06-11-25 Tigers v. Orioles -114 Top 1-10 Win 100 9 h 6 m Show

Detroit at Baltimore 6:35 ET

Orioles over Tigers - This has got to be my first MLB ‘Don’t Make Sense’ winner of the year. Here we have Detroit 20-games over .500 sending out ace Casey Mize (6-1, 2.91 ERA) to face a struggling Orioles club that is 13-games under .500. The Tigers score more than a run a game more than Baltimore and allow almost TWO runs less each game. The O’s will send Zach Eflin (5-2, 4.47) and he has won his past two starts. take BALTIMORE!

06-10-25 Blue Jays -101 v. Cardinals 10-9 Win 100 10 h 34 m Show

Toronto at St. Louis 7:45 ET

Blue Jays over Cardinals - It is fitting that these two clubs have the exact same record (36-30) and both have shown a profit if played every game on the money line this season. The overall pitching between these two I eerily similar as there is just and .04 difference. Toronto has won the past four meetings including a 5-4 Megabucks winner Monday. Chris Bassitt (6-3, 3.56) gets the start for the Blue Jays and once again he is having a winning season and he is 1-1 lifetime against St. Louis. The Cardinals will send out Miles Mikolas (4-2, 3.96) who has no career decisions against the Jays but has a 6.00 ERA in three starts. Take TORONTO!

06-10-25 Braves -115 v. Brewers 1-4 Loss -115 9 h 21 m Show

Atlanta at Milwaukee 7:40 ET

Braves over Brewers - After the disappointing year that Atlanta went through last season I like many other expected the Braves to bounce back this season and regain their pennant winning form. But, alas, they opened the year with seven straight defeats and it took over two months to get to the break even mark, but since they reached that level they have gone south losing 14 of their last 18 games. The Braves ended a seven game losing streak Monday with a 7-1 win and Grant Holmes (3-4, 3.99 ERA) start for the Braves and Quinn Priester (3-2, 3.88) gets the nod for the Brewers and they are 1-5 in his starts. Take ATLANTA!

06-10-25 Reds v. Guardians -103 1-0 Loss -103 9 h 36 m Show

Cincinnati at Cleveland 6:40

Watch Dogs over Redlegs - There are 18 players that will start the game between Cincinnati and Cleveland but the storyline is of a man in uniform that doesn’t play on the field or DH. It is about Cincinnati manager Tito Francona who ran the show at Cleveland for 11 years and posted 921 wins and his return to the site of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Reds will start Andrew Abbott (5-1, 2.18 ERA) had an ERA of 0.55 in May and he is 2-1 with a 3.65 ERA in three career starts against Cleveland posting a win three weeks ago on May 17. The former Tribesman will send out Slade Cecconi (1-2, 4.87) who is 0-2 lifetime against the Reds and took the loss when these two met that day. Revenge is sweet…take CLEVELAND!

06-09-25 Dodgers v. Padres +107 8-7 Loss -100 11 h 47 m Show

LA Dodgers at San Diego 9:30 ET

Dodgers over Padres - Although these two clubs have similar records but if you made $100 a wager on each game the Padres are plus $714 while Los Angeles who is two games better is a minus $205 on the year. The Dodgers will send Dustin May (3-4, 4.09) to the hill and against San Diego he has 63 Ks in 61 innings and is 2-4 3.36 in career starts. The Padres will start Nick Pivetta (6-2, 3.16) who has thrown 68 innings with 76 K’s this season and is 1-2 2.96  with 37 strikeouts in 27 innings against the Dodgers. Take SAN DIEGO!

06-09-25 Blue Jays +102 v. Cardinals Top 5-4 Win 102 10 h 48 m Show

Toronto at St. Louis 7:45 ET

Blue Jays over Cardinals - The fact that this encounter is a virtual pick’em has me believing that the visitor has the edge. St. Louis is 22-11 at home while Toronto is 13-17 on the road and that difference is huge. The Blue Jays will start Jose Berrios (2-2, 3.67 ERA) who is 76 innings has surrendered 67 hits with 70 K’s, he is also 3-0 with a 3.16 ERA with 36 strikeouts in 31 innings against the Cardinals. Blue Jays has won the last three meetings. Take TORONTO!

06-09-25 Rays +103 v. Red Sox 10-8 Win 103 9 h 7 m Show

Tampa Bay at Boston 7:10 ET

Rays over Red Sox - Boston is off of a pair of wins over their arch rivals at Yankees Stadium this weekend and winning that series is a big deal for a team that has been a disappointment to their backers this season. Tampa Bay always seems to be over achievers and will send Shane Baz (5-3, 4.96 ERA) to the mound and if he has a weakness it is that he gives up the long ball allowing 13 home runs. The Red Sox send Brayan Bello (2-1, 3.91) to the bump and the Rays batter him 2-4, with a 5.73 ERA against the Rays. Take TAMPA BAY!

06-08-25 Braves -110 v. Giants Top 3-4 Loss -110 6 h 6 m Show

Atlanta at San Francisco 4:05 ET

Braves over Giants - The Atlanta Braves started the year with seven straight losses and most felt that sooner or later they would get their act together and it took about 55 more game for them to draw even on the season. Then they hit a wall and currently are on a six game slide as they have fallen to a season high nine game under .500. The over achieving Giants just keep hustling and win when they are supposed to and they are nine games over .500. The Braves will send out Spencer Strider (0-4, 5.68 ERA) who because of injury has won a game since his 20-5 season in 2023. He has four starts this year and has taken the loss in all four outings. Yet, he is favored on the road against a better team. This smells. Take ATLANTA!

06-08-25 Rangers -123 v. Nationals 4-2 Win 100 5 h 7 m Show

Texas at Washington 1:30 ET

Rangers over Nationals - It seems like there are too many people that like to bet on the Rangers. I don’t know if it is a Texas thing or they are just totally overrated. Right now the Rangers are minus $1015 at $100 a game and although Washington is four games under .500 they are plus $648. Starting pitching doesn’t carry the same weight now as in the past and Texas will start reliever Jacob Latz (0-0, 2.95 ERA) and the Nationals send Trevor Williams (3-6, 6.03 to the mound and in six of his last seven starts he has surrendered 26 runs and 35 hits in just 28 innings. Take TEXAS!

06-08-25 Diamondbacks -113 v. Reds 2-4 Loss -113 3 h 26 m Show

Arizona at Cincinnati 1;40 ET

D’Backs over Reds - Arizona’s Zac Gellen (4-7, 5.13 ERA) is feeling the pressure as his co-ace Corbin Burnes is having Tommy John surgery and is ‘86’ for the rest of the season. He was 14-6 last season and has his work cut out for him to come close to that kind of stellar year. Cincinnati is going for the three game sweep with Brady Singer (5-4, 4.66) who is 2-0 lifetime against Arizona. Steaky crawlers bite…take ARIZONA!

06-07-25 Padres +105 v. Brewers 3-4 Loss -100 9 h 22 m Show

San Diego at Milwaukee 7:35 ET

Padres over Brewers - San Diego’s Steven Kolek (3-1, 3.47 ERA) has started six games and in three of those starts he didn’t allow any runs. The other three starts not so much  surrendering 14 earned runs on 21 hits in 16.1 innings. My goodness it is Jose Quintana (4-1, 2.77) and back after two uneventful seasons with the NY Mets. Now pitching for Milwaukee, this is his sixth team in the past seven seasons and it is either because people what him or want to get rid of him. His last winning season was with the Chicago Cubs in 2019, he is 19-26 the last five years. Take SAN DIEGO!

06-07-25 Red Sox -105 v. Yankees Top 10-7 Win 100 10 h 31 m Show

Boston at New York Yankees 7:35 ET

Red Sox over Yankees - Garrett Crochet (5-4, 1.98 ERA) If you haven’t seen him pitch you could never understand how anyone could that the Red Sox. This Boston team can’t pick itS up or throw it and their bullpen has allowed the most blown saves in baseball. After four years with the White Sox he was set free by Boston who will torture you in their own way. New York took a quick five run lead in the first inning Friday and the Sawx were never in it. Tonight, they know they have a chance with Crochet on the mound as the do score runs and he doesn’t allow many. Take BOSTON!

06-07-25 Blue Jays -104 v. Twins 5-4 Win 100 4 h 39 m Show

Toronto at Minnesota 2:10 ET

Blue Jays over Twins - These two clubs have identical 34-29 and both clubs and are sitting in second place in their respective divisions. It seems a bit strange this game is a pick-em and the Twins are not favored at home. Toronto will start Kevein Gausman (5-4, 3.82 ERA) who has struggled mightily against Minnesota going 1-5 with an ERA of 6.61 and believe it or not the Twins have a lifetime .300 average against Gausman. Minny will send Chris Paddack (2-5, 3.58) to the mound and this is his first appearance against the Blue Jays in his seven year career. Take TORONTO!

06-06-25 Braves -130 v. Giants Top 4-5 Loss -130 12 h 43 m Show

Atlanta at San Francisco 0:15 ET

Braves over Giants - Atlanta is expected to back back from a poor performance in 2024 started the season with seven straight losses and fought for eight weeks to raise they record to the breakwater point only to fall back once again. The Braves have lost four straight games and eight of their last 10 including blow a six run ninth inning lead yesterday. They are looking to get on the right track with Spencer Schwellenbach (4-4, 3.13 ERA) who has shut out opponents in four of his 12 starts. Braves bounce back. Take ATLANTA!

06-06-25 Mariners -127 v. Angels 4-5 Loss -127 11 h 15 m Show

Seattle at LA Angels 9:35 ET

Mariners over Angels - Veteran hurler Kyle Hendericks (2-6, 5.34 ERA) will get the start for Los Angeles after spending 11 years with the Chicago Cubs and even led the league once with an ERA of 2.13 but, that was 10years ago. But, things change as his ERA was 5.92 last season and is over five once again this season. For Seattle Bryce Miller (2-4, 5.36) who posted a five inning shut out against LA for one of his two victories. He is 2-1 with a 1.30 ERA in five career starts against the Angels. Take SEATTLE!

06-06-25 Diamondbacks -109 v. Reds 3-3 Push 0 9 h 53 m Show

Arizona at Cincinnati 7:10 ET

Diamondbacks over Reds - Arizona posted their biggest comeback in team history yesterday scoring seven runs in the ninth inning to defeat the Atlanta Braves. The Diamondbacks have won four straight and will send left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez (1-3, 7.05 ERA) to the mound and this is his first start coming off of the IL. Cincinnati has lost four of their last five and have dropped below .500. Nick Lodolo (4-4, 3.10) gets the nod for the Reds and he has never faced the D’Backs while Rodriguez ia 1-1 with an ERA of 2.77 in two starts against the Reds. The Snakes were 5-1 against Cincy last season and the beat goes on…take ARIZONA!

Kansas City at St. Louis 7:45 ET

Royals over Cardinals - St. Louis enters this fray having lost three of their last four games while surrendering 29 runs in their three losses. In Game 2 of today’s day/Night double-header the Cardinals will send left-hander Matthew Liberator (3-4, 3.08 ERA) to the mound at night and Kansas City will direct lefty Cole Ragans (2-3, 4.53) to the hill. Ragans is off a stint on the IL and will be making his first MLB start since May 16 when these same Cardinals got to him scoring four runs in a 10-3 defeat. Take KANSAS CITY!

06-05-25 Royals +117 v. Cardinals 5-6 Loss -100 5 h 45 m Show

Kansas City at St. Louis 7:45 ET

Royals over Cardinals -Noah Cameron (2-1, 1.05 ERA) is getting the fifth start of his career and in his previous four starts went has gone at least 6.1 innings in each outing and he has allowed just 13 hits in 26 innings. If my math is correct and I’m pretty sure it is he surrenders a hit every two innings. That’s pretty much it for me…and it looks like the Royals are starting to hit! Take KANSAS CITY.

06-03-25 Brewers v. Reds -122 Top 2-4 Win 100 9 h 17 m Show

Milwaukee at Cincinnati 7:10 ET

Reds over Brewers - Okay, eight is enough! Milwaukee posted a Money Game winner for us all Monday 3-2 while getting just one hit after the third inning. Get hits at anytime against tonight’s mound opponent as the No.2 overall pick in 2017 Cincinnati’s Hunter Green (4-3, 2’63 ERA) who has surrendered just 39 hits in 55 innings with 66 strikeouts. The Brewers send out Freddy Peralta (5-3, 2.77) who is having his best season ever as he has allowed 50 hits in 65 innings and he is 5-3 with a 3.35 ERA against Cincinnati in 20 appearances. Greene is 1-4 with a 7.45 in six game. This time around it is CINCINNATI!

06-02-25 Brewers +105 v. Reds 3-2 Win 105 9 h 12 m Show

Milwaukee at Cincinnati 7:10 ET

Brewers over Reds - Former Kansas City hurler Brady Singer (6-3, 4.60 ERA) will get the nod and will bring his career record of 2-0, 3.48 ERA with 11 strikeouts in 10 innings against Milwaukee. For the Brewers Aaron Civale (0-1, 6.00 ERA) will start and he is 2-0, with 2.03 ERA 10 K’s in 13 innings against Cincinnati. Milwaukee has won seven straight sweeping a three game set at home against Boston and the last three at Philadelphia. The Brew Crew is now a season high four games over .500. The Reds dropped their last two games and have lost 3-of-4 and I expect at least one if not both of these clubs to made a run at the Cubs.  Chicago is threatening to run away with the NL Central and currently is 15 games over .500. The Brewers have taken three of the last four meetings and six of eight meetings. Cincinnati’s future super star Elly De La Cruz will most likely be out be cause of his sister’s death. Take MILWAUKEE!

06-01-25 Red Sox -122 v. Braves Top 3-1 Win 100 4 h 16 m Show

Boston at Atlanta 1:35 ET

Red Sox over Braves - Boston leads the majors in blown saves with 15 and have lost six of there last seven and are 1-4 on this current road trip. Atlanta had that horrible start at  0-7 and have been fighting to reach .500 ever since, but they keep falling back under the breakwater mark and are now still 3-games under. The Braves figure to be better as Ronald Acuna has return to action and that has got to help. The Red Sox will send their prize possession as Garrett Crochet (4-4, 2.04 ERA) and although the Sawx have  lost his last three starts, where his teammates scored just five runs in three games. One of the toughest left-handers to hit, Crochett has surrendered just 56 hits in 75 innings while striking out 90. That’s enough for me…take BOSTON!

05-31-25 Yankees -109 v. Dodgers 2-18 Loss -109 8 h 22 m Show

NY Yankees at LA Dodgers 7:15 ET

Yankees over Dodgers - As expected with the payrolls being what it is these two are the leading scoring teams in baseball with Los Angeles averaging 5.54 runs per games and the Yankees are even better with 5.65 RPG. Of course the storyline is the power hitting superstars with New York’s Aaron Judge and LA’s Shohei Ohtani who have hit 19 and 22 home runs respectively. Both hit homers in their first at bats Friday with Ohtani hitting his second homer in the 6th inning in the Dodgers 8-5 win. Today. the Yankees even the series. Take NEW YORK!

05-31-25 Twins -102 v. Mariners 4-5 Loss -102 8 h 13 m Show

Minnesota at Seattle 7:15 ET

Mariners over Twins - Neither of these clubs is top tier in MLB, but most likely will make the postseason. Seattle, which is supposed to have the best starting rotation in the AL had trouble scoring runs early in the season but it has been their pitching that has been disappointing. The Mariners pitching staff is allowing 4.46 runs per game and that is more than a full run per game (3.50) then the Twins staff allows. Minnesota took the series opener Friday night with a 12-6 victory and have now won five of the last six meetings. One of the biggest problems has been Bryce Miller (2-4, 5.22 ERA) who has been bombed in his last two starts allowing 11 earned runs in just nine innings with just four strikeouts. Last year he was 12-6 with an ERA of 2.96 allowing just 131 hits in 181 innings pitched. I always thought that the weirdest name for any Twins player was Kirby Puckett, but he has now been replaced by today’s starter ‘Zebby’ Matthews (0-1 6.43). who is considered a strikeout artist. Zebby is 1-5 lifetime surrendering 38 runs and 67 hits in just 51 innings with 64 K’s. Take SEATTLE!

05-30-25 Tigers v. Royals +108 Top 7-5 Loss -100 9 h 55 m Show

Detroit at Kansas City 8:10 ET

Royals over Tigers - Kansas City who is expected to be a contender before the season ends has had difficulty scoring runs the season but have their ace Seth Lugo (3-4, 3.02 ERA) returning to the bump after two weeks on the IL. Still, hard to hit Logo has allowed just 47 hits in 57 innings although he has surrendered nine home runs. Detroit will send out Casey Mize (6-1, 2.45) who has his first winning record in his fifth season in the ‘bigs’. Mize has also missed more than two weeks with a hamstring injury. The Tigers had won six straight in the series after taking the first three meetings this season before the Royals broke through with a win in the final meeting. Take KANSAS CITY!

05-29-25 Nationals +109 v. Mariners Top 9-3 Win 109 11 h 1 m Show

Washington at Seattle 9:40 ET

Nationals over Mariners - This match-up is the rubber game of a 3-game set with the Mariners winning the opener 9-1 and Washington coming back with a 9-0 win as a +205 underdog. Today, the Nationals send out their best in MacKenzie Gore (2-5, 3.47 ERA) and his last win came on April 19 against Colorado. The Nats haven’t given him much suppose scoring just six runs in his last five starts, but he is hard to hit! In 62 innings he has surrendered just 57 hits with get this 93 strikeouts. Mac doesn’t walk many but has given up eight home runs. Seattle is starting Emerson Hancock (2-2, 5.95) who has been battered for 53 hits in 389 innings with just 28 strikeouts with right home runs. Huge advantage for the Nationals. Take WASHINGTON!

05-29-25 Rays +102 v. Astros 13-3 Win 102 9 h 11 m Show

Tampa Bay at Houston 8:10 ET

Rays over Astros - Houston will start Ryan Gusto (3-2, 4.58 ERA) and his last win came on April 23 at Toronto and Astros have lost his last four starts. Tampa Bay is send out Shane Baz (4-3, 4.94) and he averages giving up a hit an inning and a strike out an inning. the Rays won a 3-game set 2-1 last week in Tampa winning the final two games after dropping the opener. Baz took a loss last August at home to the Astros when he went 7 innings and allowed three runs. Houston has won four straight and five of six on this home stand. Tampa Bay has won seven of eight and just finish a nine game home stand. Take TAMPA BAY!

05-28-25 Reds -110 v. Royals Top 2-3 Loss -110 10 h 37 m Show

Cincinnati at Kansas City 7:40 ET

Reds over Royals - At this point of the season about 1/3 of the way both of these clubs are midland hovering around the .500 mark. Cincinnati will start Hunter Greene (4-2, 2.54 ERA) who has thrown 50 innings this season while surrendering just 32 hits with 63 strikeouts. He will overpower this weak hitting Kansas City club who has scored just 2.75 runs in their last 15 game going 5-11. The Royals will send Noah Cameron (1-1, 0.93) to the mound and he has been outstanding allowing just seven hits in three starts covering 19 innings. He won’t be enough. Take CINCINNATI!

05-28-25 Cardinals v. Orioles -116 6-4 Loss -116 9 h 49 m Show

St. Louis at Baltimore 6:30 ET

Orioles over Cardinals - It did not take long for one of the best organizations the St. Louis Cardinals in all of baseball has apparently this year has rebounded from an unusual (for them) losing season in 2024. Baltimore after making a run in 2023 has fallen to the point of no return and will send Cade Povich (1-3, 4.86 ERA) to the mound and in his last start gave up one run in a 16-5 loss. St. Louis will start Miles Mikolas (4-2, 2.51) who has been outstanding this season. But, this is the O’s game today. Take BALTIMORE!

05-28-25 Twins -102 v. Rays 0-5 Loss -102 4 h 38 m Show

Minnesota at Tampa Bay 1:10 ET

Twins over Rays - Major league baseball is the longest of all sports and Minnesota looked like one of the worst teams in MLB after a 7-15 start. But, the season gives you enough time to recover and the Twins have recovered and are 23-9 since then which is the best in baseball. Tampa Bay had their six game winning streak stopped yesterday by these Twins and they take their second straight from the Rays. Minny’s Pablo Lopez (4-2, 2.31 ERA) allowed only 40 hits in 51 innings with 54 strikeouts in 10 starts this season. Lopez has surrendered more than two runs once (allowing four runs to the Giants). Take MINNESOTA!

05-27-25 Braves -101 v. Phillies Top 0-2 Loss -101 7 h 0 m Show

Atlanta at Philadelphia 6:4 ET

Braves over Phillies - I have I got a Spencer Strider stat that is quite interesting. He is 8-0 with a 2.06 ERA in nine career starts against Philadelphia but is 0-3 with a 5.40 ERA in all three of his postseason starts. The Phillies will send Ranger Suarez (3-0, 3.70) and he is 2-4 with a 4.08 ERA in 19 appearances against the Braves. Atlanta has dropped four of their last five games but are pleased with return of Ron Acuna who will give them a much needed boost on offense. The Phillies had won nine straight before dropping a 5-4 decision to the A’s on Sunday. Karma has changed. Take ATLANTA!

05-26-25 Twins v. Rays -115 2-7 Win 100 10 h 57 m Show

Minnesota at Tampa Bay 7:05 ET

Rays over Twins - Tampa Bay lost their first game of their current home stand but have reeled off five straight wins including yesterday’s Power Play 13-0 winner over Toronto. Minnesota has been one of the hottest teams in baseball although they lost 2-1 to the Royals Sunday hey are 7-3 in the last 10 overall. In head-to-head action the Rays have won four of the last six and will start Zack Littell (3-5, 4.25) who is 0-2 in five appearances against the twinkies. Chris Paddock ( 2-4, 3.98) get the nod for Minnesota and he has never faced the Rays. Take TAMPA BAY!

05-26-25 Reds +110 v. Royals Top 7-4 Win 110 7 h 26 m Show

Cincinnati at Kansas City 4:40 ET

Reds over Royals - An amazing trends surrounds this rivalry as the home team  has lost seven straight meetings dating back to 2021. Kansas city has taken the past three and Cincinnati had won the previous all games were won by the visiting teams. The Reds enter this fray losing 4-of-5 after having won five straight and today the start nick Martinez (2-5, 3.43 ERA who has thrown better that his record shows. The Royals send out 11-year veteran Michael Lorenzen (3-5, 3.77) and he has surrendered nine home runs already this season and the reds love the long ball. Take CINCINNATI!

05-26-25 Cardinals v. Orioles +106 2-5 Win 106 6 h 3 m Show

St. Louis at Baltimore 3:05 ET

Orioles over Cardinals - Baltimore hasn’t beaten St. Louis since their final meetings in September 2023 when the Orioles could actually play. The Cardinals have won the past five meetings and have allowed only 10 runs and two runs a game isn’t going to cut it for the O’s. The Cardinals just swept a three game home set over Arizona while the Orange Birds salvaged a split with Boston by winning the last two games of four played.  Charlie Morton 4-12 5.05 ERA lifetime against the Red Birds and he has actually won his last two decisions against them. Take BALTIMORE!

05-25-25 Blue Jays v. Rays -101 0-13 Win 100 2 h 16 m Show

Toronto at Tampa Bay 1:40 ET

Rays over Blue Jays - After 51 games played this season the Rays and Blue Jays have identical 25-26 records and have shown to date that neither of these clubs will be playing in the post season. This will be the sixth meeting of the year between these two with Tampa Bay winning yesterday and 4-of-5 meetings this season and are 8-1 over Toronto in the past nine meetings. Chris Bassett (4-2, 2.89 ERA) will start for Toronto and he is 1-5 with an ERA of 3.42 in nine career appearances. Take TAMPA BAY!

05-24-25 Dodgers -103 v. Mets Top 2-5 Loss -103 11 h 37 m Show

LA Dodgers at New York Mets 7:10 ET

Dodgers over Mets - The World Champion LA Dodgers don’t seem to mind which team from New York that they are playing. The Dodgers took down the New York Yankees in the Fall Classic four games to one and have the same winning ratio against the Ne York Mets winning eight of the past 10 meetings. Saturday, the champs will send Tony Gonsolin (2-0, 4.05) to the hill and he is 1-0 with an ERA of 0.82 in 11 innings of work has allowed just one run. Mets will start David Peterson (2-2, 2.86) is 1-0 versus LA but with an ERA of 5.74 in 15 innings surrendering 10 earned runs. Take LA DODGERS!

05-23-25 Dodgers -106 v. Mets Top 7-5 Win 100 7 h 26 m Show

LA Dodgers at New York Mets 7:10 ET

Dodgers over Mets - The last time these two met was in the NL Championship series which Los Angeles won the series in six games. New York will send out Griffin Canning (5-1, 2.47 ERA) who will be opposed by veteran Clayton Kershaw (0-0, 11.25) who will be making his second start of the season. New York has gone 2-5 in their last seven games and failed to score more than three runs in any one game and were outscored 26-10. Canning is 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA against the Dodgers while Kershaw is 11-0 with a 2.03 ERA lifetime against the Mets. Take the LA DODGERS!

05-21-25 Mets v. Red Sox -139 Top 5-1 Loss -139 9 h 4 m Show

New York Mets at Boston 6:45 ET

Red Sox over Mets - I like everything about this match-up especially whee the game starts on the mound. Last time out for Boston Garrett Crochet had too face Chris Sale the former Red Sox who is now hurling for the former Boston and Milwaukee and now Atlanta Braves. He pitched well for seven innings, but the homecoming of Sale was to much for the Sox, and he is 4-2 with an ERA of 2.00. The Mets will send Tylor Megill (3-4, 3.74) to the bump and he has struggled of late after a decent start and has one win since April 4th. Take BOSTON!

05-20-25 Mets v. Red Sox +117 0-2 Win 117 8 h 28 m Show

New York Mets at Boston 6:45 ET

Red Sox over Mets - The Mets are tied with Philadelphia and the Dodgers with the most wins in the N.L. with 29. So, one would believe that their spirits are high but thing are very different. The is a murmur in the locker room as their 800,000,000 dollar player Juan Soto has failed to run out of the batter box after at bats on Sunday versus the Yankees and Monday when he ended up with a single on a ball hit off of the Green Monster in Fenway Park. Teammates are no so pleased with Soto’s effort especially because he is just in his first season of a 10 year contact. My thoughts are that Soto has no incentive to preform as he is guaranteed his money as log as he shows up no matter what he does on the field. Once dissension starts in a locker room a team will crumble from within. Take BOSTON!

05-19-25 Royals +122 v. Giants Top 3-1 Win 122 12 h 33 m Show

Kansas City at San Francisco 9:46 ET

Royals over Giants - San Francisco has won the past four meetings including a three game sweep last season. The Royals just ended a four game losing streak with a 2-1 win over St. Louis but have scored just nine runs in their last five games. The Giants just completed a 3-game sweep of the A’s and are playing their seventh straight home game. KC who just put a pair of All-star pitchers on the IL and will start Kris Bubic (4-2. 1.66 ERA)who is getting his chance to shine as a starter and is making the best of it. Last year he had 27 appearances and all were in relief. Take KANSAS CITY!

05-19-25 Orioles +103 v. Brewers 4-5 Loss -100 9 h 16 m Show

Baltimore at Milwaukee 7:40 ET

Orioles over Brewers - This Baltimore team is so far away from the club that won the most games in the major leagues two seasons ago. That year 2023 the Orioles led the majors in runs and had a weakness with pitching both starting and relieving and last year the pitching fell off and so did their hitting and now both the hitting and pitching are in the tank. The Orange Birds score just 3.76 runs per game and allow 5.64 runs per game. The only team in MLB that allows more runs is Colorado and we all know why and are just 0.16th of a run ahead of Rockies. Milwaukee has dropped 7-of-9 before ending Minnesota’s 13-game win streak and will send Quinn Pfiester to the hill getting to start for the third time in three years with a different club. Take BALTIMORE!

05-18-25 Mariners +128 v. Padres Top 6-1 Win 128 11 h 11 m Show

Seattle at San Diego 4:10 ET

Mariners over Padres - Seattle has won three of their last four including the last two over San Diego and they have beaten the Padres in seven of the past eight meetings. Sometimes it happens that way where one club can’t win against a certain club and likewise some teams just won’t lose to a club the call their cousins. Tonight, the Mariners are sending out a nasty fellow in Byran Woo (4-1, 2.84 ERA) and has allowed just 37 hits in 51.2 innings with only eight walks and 50 strikeouts. Take SEATTLE!

05-18-25 Tigers v. Blue Jays -114 3-2 Loss -114 8 h 25 m Show

Detroit at Toronto 1:37 ET

Blue Jays over Tigers - The AL better wake up soon because there is something going on with these Tigers! Detroit is 30-16 and have the best record in all of baseball and already leads the Central by 4-games. The Tigers will send out 22-year old Jackson Jobe (3-0, 4.32 ERA) who has been very fortunate in his seven starts in which Detroit has scored 51 runs. Toronto will send out 30 year-old Jose Berrios (1-1, 4.33) who is in his 10th MLB season and he is 7-3 in 15 appearances against the Tigers. Take TORONTO!

Braves over Red Sox - Atlanta has reached the breakwater level (23-23) after on 0-7 start and have won 4-of-6 and will send Spencer Schwellenbach (2-3, 3.31 ERA) to the hill. The Braves whose franchise stared in Boston win the series. Take ATLANTA!

05-17-25 Cardinals +117 v. Royals 1-0 Win 117 8 h 23 m Show

St. Louis at Kansas City 7:10 ET

Cardinals over Royals - Well, it is rivalry weekend in MLB action and this match-up brings me back to a World Series when the Royals came from behind to defeated the Cardinals in a wild series. Streaks are a big part of baseball and both of these teams are streaking with one going in the right direction while the other is going through a rough time. St. Louis has won 11 of 12 while Kansas City has dropped five of six. Miles Mikolas (2-2, 4.35 ERA) starts for the Red Birds and he is 2-0 with a 2.14 ERA in three appearances against the Royals. Kansas City was 1-5 after a 16-2 run while started after six straight losses. Take ST, LOUIS!

Houston at Texas 7:10 ET

Astros over Rangers - It is said that everything is bigger in Texas and maybe in time this rivalry (The Silver Boot) will have the same intensity as old standbys with the Red Sox and Yankees or the Giants and Dodgers. The Astros will send Las Vegan Tyler Mahle (4-1, 1.47 ERA) who has already had a ‘career’ year as he has had just one winning season entering his 10 year in the bigs while going 0-2 with a 3.50 ERA against Houston. The Astros send out Ronel Blanco (3-3, 4.04) and he is 2-1 with an ERA of 3.08 in 26 inning against the Rangers. Take HOUSTON!

The Yankees have won 7-of-9 and will send Clark Schmidt (1-1, 4.73 ERA) to the hill and he is 1-0 with a 2.45 ERA the a pair of appearances against the Mets. Griffin Canning (5-1, 2.36) will start for the visitors and he has no decisions against the Yankees. This time around it is the YANKEES!

Braves over Red Sox - This may very well be the best pitching match-up of the season with former Cy Young Award winner Chris Sale (1-3, 3.97 ERA) taking the hill for Atlanta and Boston’s Garrett Crochet (4-2, 1.93). Sale is 3-1 lifetime against the Red Sox with an ERA of 1.99 in 45 innings with 55 strikeouts while Crochet is 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA in seven innings against the Braves. Atlanta enter winning 3-of-4 and have battled to get to .500 after an 0-7 start to the season. Take ATLANTA!

Minnesota at Baltimore 12:35 ET

Orioles over Twins - What is going on…Minnesota has now established a MLB season high of 11 straight wins sweeping a double header yesterday against the ‘Orange Birds.’ Baltimore has dropped 8-of-10 and don’t look like they will be a factor in the East while the Twins are giving a huge ‘hey look at me’ but they are still 8-14 on the road. Minny has won all five meetings played this season while the Orioles had won the five previous meetings and have an advantage with Sugano (4-2, 2.72 ERA) on the hill. Take BALTIMORE!

05-14-25 Royals v. Astros -131 3-4 Win 100 9 h 57 m Show

Kansas City at Houston 8:10 ET

Astros over Royals - There is no doubt that Houston is not the same club that we are used to seeing in most recent seasons and they have even moved their best played over the last decade to a new position. All-star and future Hall of Fame player Jose Altuve has been moved to the outfield as younger players are trying to make their mark. One of their outstanding prospects will take the mound tonight for his first MLB appearance as Colton Gordon who was 4-0, with a 2.55 ERA in Triple-A Sugarland gets the start. Take HOUSTON!

Boston at Detroit 6:40 ET

Red Sox over Tigers - Since the second half of the 2024 season Detroit has grown to the point that they made the playoffs last season and are once again in position (it’s early I know) to make the playoffs again. The Tigers have dropped two in a row and haven’t lost three straight since their opening series against the Dodgers and will send Jackson Jobe (2-0, 4.88 ERA) to the mound and he is coming off getting shelled by of all teams Colorado surrendering six runs on eight hits in 3.1 innings. 05-11-25 Dodgers v. Diamondbacks -106 8-1 Loss -106 5 h 0 m Show

LA Dodgers at Arizona 4:10 ET

Diamondbacks over Dodgers - Los Angeles is the heavy favorite in the NL West but that doesn’t mean that they won’t face some tough competition in their own division. Arizona has given the Dodgers all that they can handle splitting the past five meetings and will start Zac Gallen (3-4, 4.37 ERA) their best hurler the last two seasons winning 14 and 17 games. LA will send Tony Gonsolin (1-0, 4.09) who will be making just his third start of the season having thrown 11 innings with 17 strikeouts. He has lost his last two decision against the D’backs and hasn’t defeated LA in any of his last seven starts against them. Take ARIZONA!

Texas at Detroit 1:40 ET

Rangers over Tigers - These two clubs have split their last 10 encounters and Detroit likes their chances today with Reese Olson (4-2, 3.03 ERA) on the mound as he hasn’t allowed a run in three of his last four starts. Texas will sent out Nathan Eovaldi (3-2, 2.25) and he is 4-0 lifetime against the Tigers with an ERA of 3.00 in seven career starts. The Rangers are just 7-13 on the road and the Tigers are 14-4 at home but the Rangers have scored 10 and nine runs the last two times in Detroit Take TEXAS!

05-10-25 Giants v. Twins -110 Top 1-2 Win 100 16 h 49 m Show

San Francisco at Minnesota 7:15 ET

Twins over Giants - San Francisco can surprise in the West, they play hard nosed aggressive baseball, hustle and are always looking to take the extra base. The Giants will start their gem in Logan Webb (4-2, 2.61 ERA) who has never faced  the Twins. Minnesota will start Joe Ryan (2-2, 2.93) and he has allowed one run twice and zero runs twice in his last five starts. He has 47 strikeouts in 40 innings while surrendering just 31 hits but six were homers. So, what! Take MINNESOTA!

05-10-25 Red Sox v. Royals +108 10-1 Loss -100 15 h 24 m Show

Boston at Kansas City 7:10 ET

Royals over Red Sox - Whoa. what a great match-up between a pair of the AL’s top left handers. Boston signed Garrett Crochet (3-2, 2.02 ETA) after an incredible season for the lowly White Sox where he had only six wins in 32 starts but struck out 209 in just 146 innings. He was surrendered just 32 hit in 49 innings pitched. Kansas City will send out their All-star lefty Cole Ragans (1-1, 4.40) whi is coming off of his best outing of the season with five shutout innings with 11 K’s. Take KANSAS CITY!

05-10-25 Cardinals v. Nationals +103 4-2 Loss -100 12 h 29 m Show

St. Louis at Washington 4:10 ET

Nationals over Nationals - St. Louis to the surprise of many has shown a vast improvement over last season’s below par effort. The Cardinals have always had one of the better run organizations in baseball and always have a fundamentally sound team with this past season possible being an exception. The Red Birds won yesterday’s meeting 10-0 nut Washington is 10-10 at home while Busch Boys have won just five of 18 road games. Take WASHINGTON!

05-09-25 Giants v. Twins -109 1-3 Win 100 11 h 34 m Show

San Francisco at Minnesota 8:10 ET

Twins over Giants - I like these Giants I really do and I think that they can give the Dodgers , Padres and D’backs trouble throughout the year. But, Sn Francisco like so many other club lack starting pitching depth and will be starting Jordan Hicks (1-3, 6.03 ERA) in seven start this season. His lifetime record in his eighth season is 16-31 and has never had a winning season. Now, Chris Paddack (0-3, 5.57) has not won yet but is overcoming a horrible start. In his first two starts he surrendered 13 runs in seven innings, but in his past five starts he went five innings in each and gave up just 19 hits in 25 innings. Take MINNESOTA!

05-09-25 Red Sox -113 v. Royals 1-2 Loss -113 10 h 50 m Show

Boston at Kansas City 7:40 ET

Red Sox over Royals - If you don’t know by now that Witt is the second best player in the American League behind Aaron Judge. Kansas City is built around the future Hall of Fame shortstop but he as of now doesn’t hit with the same power (who does?) as Judge. Seems a bit odd that Boston comes up favored on the road here as the Royals starter Michael Lorenzen (3-3, 4.23 ERA) is in his 11th season while Boston hurler Hunter Dobbins (2-1, 3.78) is making his fourth appearance of the year and his career.Take RED SOX!

05-09-25 Phillies v. Guardians +110 0-6 Win 110 9 h 26 m Show

Philadelphia at Cleveland 7:10 ET

Indians (oops) over Phillies - The former Whiz Kids are hitting the ball consistently for the first time this season as they have won three straight and 8-of-10. Cleveland meanwhile has won five in-a-row and 7-of-8. In his 11th season with the Phillies Aaron Nola (1-5, 4.61 ERA) is off to the worst start in his career and has had only one losing season 11-13, 3.25 ERA. Cleveland will send Gavin Williams (2-2, 5.06) who has shown promise as the Ohioans covet him and believe he will be a star. Let’s hope it starts tonight. Take CLEVELAND!

05-08-25 Blue Jays v. Angels +116 8-5 Loss -100 11 h 18 m Show

Toronto at LA Angels 9:35 ET

Angels over Blue Jays - In recent times it has been noted that Canada wants no part of the USA and that must include their only MLB club Toronto who has won just five of 17 games played stateside. The Blue Jays have dropped four in-a-row rest their hopes on the arm of Chris Bassitt (2-2, 2.95 ERA) who is an outstanding 7-3 with a 3.61 ERA in 14 career starts against Los Angeles. The Angels will start Jose Soriano (2-4, 3.83) who is off of his best appearance of the season throwing six scoreless innings against the Tigers. LA after dropping six straight have won their last two and 3-of-4. Tale LA ANGELS!

05-07-25 Blue Jays v. Angels +115 4-5 Win 115 11 h 7 m Show

Toronto at LA Angels 9:35 ET

Angels over Blue Jays - Los Angeles has gone Asian as they have signed a number of the good and great (Ohtani ) players from Japan, the only problem is all the foreign talent has been good to the Dodgers and what is left when to the LA Angels. Left-hander Yusel Kikuchi (0-4, 4.21 ERA) is still looking for his first win of the season after seven starts. Tonight he pitches against hi former team and he is 2-0 wit a 1.77 ERA in three career starts against Toronto. The Blue Jays will send out over-rated Jose Berrios (1-1, 3.98) and he is 3-5 with an ERA of 5.64 in 10 starts against the Angels. Take LA ANGELS!

05-07-25 Mets v. Diamondbacks +111 7-1 Loss -100 4 h 19 m Show

New York Mets at Ariozna 3:40 ET

Diamondbacks over Mets - This should be a good itching match-up with Kodai Senga (3-2, 1.38 ERA) throwing for New York and Merrill Kelly (3-1, 4.04) tossing for the Diamondbacks. Arizona took 2-of-3 meetings in New York a week ago when Senga went only four innings his shortest outing of the season. Kelly has surrendered two runs or less in six of his seven starts although he is just 1-4 lifetime against the Mets. Take ARIZONA!

05-06-25 Blue Jays v. Angels -101 3-8 Win 100 11 h 53 m Show

Toronto at LA Angels 9:35 ET

Angels over Blue Jays - I can’t tell you how difficult it is to post the Los Angeles Angels with the knowledge that they have no shot of making it to the post season. With or without Mike Trout in the line-up the don’t score very many runs but have Tyler Anderson (2-0, 2.67 ERA) on the bump. Toronto has an AL low of just 23 home runs and will start Jose Urena (0-0, 15.00) who is making his first start of the season. Urena has failed to win a game in four of the past six seasons and has always been very easy to get the bat on the ball. Take ANGELS!

05-06-25 Astros +111 v. Brewers 3-4 Loss -100 2 h 20 m Show

Houston at Milwaukee 7:40 ET

Astros over Brewers - Houston has opened the season by losing four straight road series and things don’t look any better today as the home Brewers posted a 5-1 win to start this set. The Astros have lost 4-of-5 with their lone win over the powerful Chicago White Sox. Milwaukee will use rookie Chad Patrick (1-3, 2.87 ERA)and his mound opponent is Hayden Wesneski (1-2, 3.86 ERA) who spent the last three seasons with the Chicago Cubs and is 1-0 with a 1.86 ERA in five appearances against the Brew Crew. Take HOUSTON!

05-06-25 Phillies v. Rays +107 Top 8-4 Loss -100 9 h 37 m Show

Philadelphia at Tampa Bay 7:05 ET

Rays over Phillies - These two clubs have met three times in each of the past two seasons and Philadelphia is a perfect 6-0 and have Zack Wheeler (2-1,3.48 ERA) on the mound. Wheeler was the starter the last time these two met last season in mid September and he was the winner allowing just two runs on four hits in just six innings with nine strikeouts. Today’s starter for the Rays Drew Rasmussen (1-2, 2.64) took the loss in relief that day and is 1-2 with a 3.16 ERA this season with the Rays  failing to score even one run in his two losses. This time around the Rays score against Wheeler who is 1-2 with a 4.50 lifetime against the Rays…take TAMPA BAY!

05-05-25 Mets v. Diamondbacks -112 Top 5-4 Loss -112 12 h 39 m Show

NY Mets ar Arizona 9:40 ET

Diamondbacks over Mets - It was just a short week ago the New York Mets had the best record in baseball and were running on all cylinders with an unlikely leader in NL batting average in Pee Alonzo who has yet to hit .250 the past three seasons. But, they have dropped five of their last six games and6-of-10 while three other teams in the NL now have better records. Arizona took 2-of-3 in New York last week and will start Ryan Nelson (1-0, 5.82 ERA) who has no decisions against New York. The Mets lost a double-header to St. Louis Sunday and will continue to slide in the desert. Take ARIZONA!
