Hurricans (-) over Tar Heels- Miami has had two weeks to sit in that mess they created when Middle Tennessee State a 25-point underdog crushed the Canes in Miami. North Carolina has had two week to prepare after Notre Dame but they are 2-9 ATS after a bye week. Take MIAMI-FL!

Utah at U.C.L.A. 3:30 ET  No. 18 UCLA welcomes a top 15-ranked, Pac-12 opponent to Pasadena, Calif., for the second time in as many weeks with 11th-ranked Utah's visit on Saturday. The Bruins (5-0, 2-0 Pac-12 offensive onslaught gave UCLA a second-half lead of as many as 24 points against the previously unbeaten Huskies. Utah (4-1, 2-0) is putting up some of the most impressive offensive numbers in the nation at 42 points per game, 11th in the nation. The Utes hit their average in last week's 42-16 home rout of Oregon State. Adding a ninth-consecutive overall victory for the Bruins means ending a different streak. Utah has won the last five meetings between the teams since 2016 and has not lost to UCLA inside of the Rose Bowl since 2012. Take UCLA!

Purdue at Maryland 12:00 ET

Boilermakers (+) over Terrapins- Maryland (4-1, 1-1 Big Ten) is a member of the Big Ten East, beating the Terrapins would be a quality win. Maryland threw a scare into Michigan two weeks ago in a 34-27 loss and then handled Michigan State 27-13 last weekend. Meanwhile Purdue (3-2, 1-1) helped throw the Big Ten West race into a tizzy with a 20-10 upset of then-No. 21 Minnesota. The result left six of the division's seven teams tied for first place. Purdue last won a Big Ten title in 2000 and with quarterback Aidan O'Connell ranks No. 1 in the Big Ten in passing yards per game with 299.8, his Maryland counterpart Taulia Tagovailoa ranks No. 3 with 283.2 per outing. Terps 3-10 ATS in last 13 conference games. Tale PURDUE!

Texas at Oklahoma 12:00 ET

Sooners (+) over Longhorns- For the first time since 1998, the game will feature a pair of unranked opponents when they kick off and the Sooners come in scuffling, having lost consecutive regular-season games for just the second time since 1999. Oklahoma (3-2, 0-2 Big 12) dropped games to Kansas State and TCU. Texas (3-2, 1-1) is coming off a 38-20 win over West Virginia and has lost two games by a combined four points, including a one-point loss to top-ranked Alabama. The Sooners have won four consecutive games in the series beginning with the 2018 Big 12 Championship Game. The underdog is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings. Take OKLAHOMA!

Tennessee at LSU 12:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Volunteers- LSU began the season unranked and lost its season opener to Florida State, but the Tigers (4-1, 2-0) have won four games in a row and finally cracked the rankings this week. The Volunteers are coming off an open date after defeating then-No. 20 Florida 38-33 two weeks ago. LSU scored the final 21 points to beat Auburn and survived despite passing for just 85 yards. Vols just 1-3-1 ATS in last five at LSU and 4-12 ATS L-16 against teams with winning records. Take LSU!

Houston at Memphis 7:30 ET

Cougars (+) over Tigers- Prior to the season, Houston was picked to win the AAC in a media poll, edging Cincinnati but the Cougars' have struggled to close out games. The Cougars head to Memphis on the heels of a 27-24 overtime loss at home to Tulane on Sept. 30. Houston has played three overtime games this season, a program record, and has dropped two of them. Houston (2-3, 0-1 AAC) scored 14 straight points in the fourth quarter before Tulane produced a tying TD with 39 seconds left in regulation before falling. Memphis heads into Friday's game on the heels of a 24-3 win at home over Temple. Cougars Quarterback Clayton Tune threw for 208 yards and two scores in the loss, in which he became just the fourth player in Houston history to amass 10,000 career total yards. Take HOUSTON!

N.C. State at Clemson 7:30 ET

Tigers (-) over Wolfpack- Clemson has just not been very impressive especially on offense were they have now shown 'life' the past two weeks accumulating over 500 yards. When we think of these two clubs we would think defense first and the Clemson before NC State, but that is not the case. The Wolfpack actually surrender almost 90 yards less per game at 261.yards per than does Clemson at 350 YPG. Last season, the Wolfpack pulled out an overtime victory against the Tigers to snap an eight-game losing streak in the series but NC State hasn't won at Clemson since 2002. NCS is 5-14 ATS in their last 19 road games while the Tigers who ave struggled against the 'number' are 4-1 ATS in their last five ACC games. Tigers get it done at home...take CLEMSON!

L.S.U. at Auburn 7:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Tigers- LSU (3-1, 1-0) has won three games in a row and now Brian Kelly LSU's head coach prepares his team for its first conference road game. LSU lost its season opener against Florida State, then sandwiched non-conference wins against outmanned opponents (Southern and New Mexico) around a 31-16 home win against Mississippi State in the conference opener. Auburn narrowly escaped an upset against Missouri when the Tigers missed a 26-yard field goal as time expired in the fourth quarter. They kicked a field goal on the first possession of overtime, then a Missouri fumble landed in the end zone for a touchback to end play. The Auburn offense is second-to-last in the SEC in yards per game (376.8), 12th in passing yards per game (202.8) and 10th in rushing yards per game (174). But, the home team is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings and the underdog is 5-1 ATS L-6. Take AUBURN!

California at Washington State 5:30 ET

Golden Bears (+) over Cougars- Washington State (3-1, 0-1) blew a double-digit lead in the final four minutes against the then-No. 15 Ducks, allowing 22 unanswered points in a span of less than three minutes. The host Cougars scored a meaningless touchdown (except for 'us' that took the +6.5) in the final seconds to lose 44-41. The Golden Bears opened Pac-12 play with a 49-31 victory against Arizona while Jack Plummer added three touchdown passes for Cal. Bears lead the all-time series with Washington State is lifetime 48-29-5 SU and are 5-2 ATS L-7 at Cougars and road team is 12-5 ATS in last 17 meetings. Take CALIFORNIA!

Michigan State at Maryland 3:30 ET

Spartans (+) over Terrapins- Michigan State is trying to put its season back on the rails after two straight losses. Coming off an 11-2 season, the Spartans rose to No. 11 in the AP Top 25 Poll after decisive wins over two Mid-American Conference teams. We used Washington as a Megabucks winner two weeks ago and last week thought that MSU would bounce back. Not so, they were crushed by a superior Minnesota team. Maryland (3-1, 0-1 Big Ten) figures to have confidence and incentive when it takes on Michigan State (2-2, 0-1 Big Ten), Saturday in College Park, Md. The Terps are 0-4 against the Spartans over the last five seasons and 1-5 ATS in their last six home games. Take MICHIGAN STATE!

Wake Forest at Florida State 3:30 ET

Seminoles (-) over Demon Deacons- No. 23 Florida State is off to its best start since 2015 and ranked in the AP Top 25 Poll for the first time in more than four years. The Seminoles (4-0, 2-0 ACC) are undefeated and ranked after thrashing Boston College 44-14 at home last Saturday. Meanwhile, the Demon Deacons (3-1, 0-1 ACC) are coming off their first defeat of the season, a 51-45 overtime loss to No. 5 Clemson. Florida State has been solid on both sides of the football, scoring 37.5 points per game, while allowing just 18.8, both of which rank in the top 35 of FBS. Deacons will suffer after Clemson letdown and Wake Forest is 8-30 all-time against Florida State with one tie. Take FLORIDA STATE!

Oklahoma at T.C.U. Noon ET

Horned Frogs (+) over Sooners- Oklahoma is No. 7 in the nation in total offense, averaging 513 yards a game. The No. 18 Sooners (3-1, 0-1) will need their offense when they face QB Max Duggan and host TCU (3-0, 0-0) on Saturday in a Big 12 game at Fort Worth, Texas. Duggan has three career games with more than 100 yards rushing and ran for 92 against Oklahoma in 2019. The Sooners have won eight consecutive games in the series, with the Horned Frogs' most recent victory coming in 2014. The Sooners have lost back-to-back games in the regular season just once since 2000. In 2020, Oklahoma fell to Kansas State and Iowa State on consecutive weeks to start Big 12 play. Still...it's TEXAS CHRISTIAN!

Purdue at Minnesota 12:00 ET

Boilermakers (+) over Golden Gophers- No. 21 Minnesota (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) will look to continue terrorizing opposing offenses on Saturday when it faces Purdue (2-2, 0-1) in a conference matchup at Minneapolis. The Gophers have allowed just 24 points this season. They've also allowed the fewest average yards per game in the nation (187.8), with the next-closest team, Alabama, at 201.2. Minnesota has averaged the second-most yards per game on the ground (294.5) and has 17 rushing touchdowns, which is tied with Michigan for first. Minnesota has dominated the all-time series lately, winning eight of the last nine meetings. Purdue quarterback Aidan O'Connell also will look for revenge on Saturday after dropping the last three versus the Gophers. Not this time...take PURDUE!

Kentucky at Mississippi 12:00 ET

Rebels (-) over Wildcats- In a matchup of ranked Southeastern Conference teams on Saturday, No. 7 Kentucky and No. 14 Ole Miss will try to shake off last weekend's sluggishness when they meet in Oxford, Miss. The Wildcats (4-0, 1-0) ultimately took care of their non-conference business with Northern Illinois while Ole Miss (4-0, 0-0) couldn't put away Tulsa, which arrived on the Oxford campus as a three-touchdown underdog. The Rebels and Wildcats last met in 2020, when the game went to overtime, 35-35 in Lexington. Rebels are 4-1-1 ATS at home against teams with winning records. Take MISSISSIPPI!

Washington at UCLA 10:30 ET

Bruins (+) over Huskies- Washington is No. 5 in the nation in total offense at nearly 531 yards per game. The Huskies scored an average of 44 points in each of their victories. Washington beat Stanford 40-22 last week in the Pac-12 opener as Huskies quarterback Michael Penix Jr. completed 22 of 37 passes for 309 yards and two touchdowns. The 309 passing yards was the lowest total in a game this season for the nation's leading passer. UCLA (4-0, 1-0) has yielded points in nine of its 10 opponent red-zone opportunities. The conference-opening win marked the third time this season UCLA scored 45 points, bolstering their 20th-ranked 41.8-point per game scoring average. UCLA's defense enters the week gearing up to make life difficult for Penix and the Washington passing attack. The Bruins are among the nation's top 24 defenses in sacks. Take U.C.L.A.

Tulane at Houston

Green Wave (+) over Cougars- Starting the season ranked No. 24 Houston, defeated UTSA 37-35 in three overtimes. But now, it there may be tension within the program. The Cougars (2-2) will look to sort out some of those problems when they host American Athletic Conference foe Tulane (3-1) Friday night in the conference opener. After two convincing wins to open the season, the Green Wave -- a two-touchdown underdog at Kansas State stunned the Wildcats 17-10 on Sept. 17. However, the euphoria of the 3-0 start was dashed in last weekend's 27-24 home loss to Southern Mississippi. Houston has won the past two meetings with the Green Wave and owns a 19-7 edge in the all-time series. Take TULANE!

USC at Oregon State 9:30 ET

Beavers (+) over Trojans- Both clubs are 3-0 SU with this being Oregon State's Pac-12 opener and both clubs have met and defeated Fresno State. USC (3-0, 1-0 Pac-12) was impressive again last week, rolling past Fresno State 45-17. The Trojans have 10 takeaways with no turnovers, the best margin in the nation. Under coach Jonathan Smith. Oregon State snapped its eight-year bowl-game drought last season and ended a losing streak USC with a 45-27 win over the trojans last September. USC is 2-5 ATS in last seven meetings with State and the dog is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. Add that the Beavers are 8-1 ATS in their last nine home games. Take OREGON STATE!

Kansas State at Oklahoma 8:00 ET

Wildcats (+) over Sooners- Oklahoma coach Brent Venables was a walk-on linebacker for Kansas State in the early 1990s and carved out a role with the Wildcats, then began his coaching career there before joining Bob Stoops' Oklahoma staff after the 1998 season. No. 6 Sooners (3-0) open Big 12 play Saturday against visiting Kansas State (2-1) at Norman, Okla. The Sooners come into the game undefeated, having rolled through opponents by a combined 127-30 in non-conference play while the Wildcats come in off a 17-10 home loss to Tulane. Kansas State has performed well against the Sooners in recent years, winning two of the last three meetings. Both teams rank in the top 15 nationally in rushing yards and Kansas State has forced seven turnovers, all interceptions. Take KANSAS STATE!

Iowa at Rutgers 7:00 ET

Hawkeyes (-) over Scarlet Knights- This has got to be the most 'bogus' line of the weekend! Think about this for a second...Iowa, which ranks last among 131 FBS teams with 217.7 yards per game on offense will face a Rutgers defense allowing 240.3 per game and is 10th in the nation. The Scarlet Knights (3-0) are over a TD underdog at home and this just doesn't make any sense. We can always find trends to support our side so it goes. Knights are 0-5 ATS against teams with winning records and 4-9 ATS after a SU win. Take IOWA!

Notre Dame at North Carolina 3:30 ET

Fighting Irish (+) over Tar Heels- Notre Dame's first win of the season was the result of the pressure its defense was able to apply on Cal quarterback Jack Plummer. The Irish racked up six sacks and five other QB hits. North Carolina is 3-0 to start the season but has historically struggled against the Irish. Notre Dame is 20-2 all-time in the series and is currently riding a four-game winning streak. UNC has one of the most explosive offenses in the country, averaging 51.3 points per-game, a mark that is tops in the ACC and fourth-best in FBS. I would have thought the Tar Heels would be bigger favorites but the oddsmaker believe the Irish have a shot. Take NOTRE DAME!

Texas at Texas Tech 3:30ET

Red Raiders (+) over Longhorns- Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian has already made a difference in the Longhorns program going 2-1 to start his career with a 20-19 loss o Alabama and an impressive come-back win (trailed 17-7) over Texas-SA. This will be his first challenge on the road after three home games to start the season. The Red Raiders (2-1) return home after a 27-14 loss at then No. 16 North Carolina State last weekend. Texas holds a 54-17 advantage over the Red Raiders in the all-time series between the schools and has captured 11 of the past 13 matchups. The Longhorns scored 10 touchdowns in a 70-35 win over Texas Tech in Austin last season and Tech is looking to atone at home. Red Raiders 7-1 after a loss. Take TEXAS TECH!

Virginia at Syracuse 7:00 ET

Cavaliers (+) over Orange- Syracuse (3-0, 1-0 ACC) and Virginia (2-1, 0-0) are both coming off last second victories as the Orange shocked Purdue with a 26 yard TD pass on the final play while the Cavaliers kicked a game winning field goal as time expired to defeat Old Dominion. Friday will mark the sixth all-time matchup between the teams, with Virginia leading 3-2. The last meeting, in 2015, was a triple-overtime thriller in which the Cavaliers emerged with a 44-38 home victory. Cavs are 6-1 ATS after scoring less than 20 points the previous games and are 5-1 ATS in their last six ACC games. Take VIRGINIA!

Fresno State at U.S.C. 10:30 ET

Bulldogs (+) over Trojans- USC (2-0) is 7th-ranked and continued to dazzle offensively early into first-year head coach Lincoln Riley's crushed last week at Stanford. Fresno State (1-1) is 1-4 all-time against USC, but last season beat then-No. 13 UCLA (40-37), lost to then-No. 11 Oregon by a touchdown (31-24), and have won four of their past five games against ranked opponents. This is Fresno State's first visit to USC since 2019 when the Bulldogs lost the season opener to the Trojans, 31-23. State lost to Oregon State last week and are 20-8-1 ATS in their last 29 games following a straight up loss and 22-8-1 ATS in their last 31 road games. Trojans are 2-5 ATS in last seven home games. Texas Tech at N. C. State 7:00 ET

Washington last week as Bo Mix the NIL from Auburn had his best game as a college QB Oregon had a 604-187 yardage advantage. Ducks are lined-up and take down the Cougars. Take OREGON!

Florida State at Louisville 7:00 ET

Cardinals (+) over Seminoles- The Seminoles (2-0, 0-0 ACC) are coming off a bye week, which followed one of their biggest wins in recent memory when they beat LSU, 24-23, in New Orleans. Florida State lost its first six September games under Norvell -- two in 2020 and four in 2021 while Louisville (1-1, 0-1 ACC) will be playing its home opener after recording a 20-14 victory at UCF following a 31-7 season-opening loss at Syracuse. Cardinals quarterback Malik Cunningham has yet to throw a touchdown pass this season but ran for one last week against UCF and last season against Florida State, Cunningham completed 25 of 39 passes for 264 yards and accounted for four touchdowns (two passing, two rushing) for a 31-23 victory. Cards are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings. Take LOUISVILLE!

U.S.C at Stanford 7:30 ET

Cardinals (+) over Trojans- No. 10 Southern California will open Pac-12 Conference play against Stanford on Saturday at Palo Alto, Calif. The Trojans (1-0) won a 66-14 rout of Rice last week and it was the debut of Southern Cal head coach Lincoln Riley. USC has a number of transfers in a Trojans uniform for a the first time, Quarterback Caleb Williams, who followed Riley from Oklahoma, completed 19 of 22 passes for 249 yards and two touchdowns which both of which went to Pitt transfer and reigning Biletnikoff Award-winning receiver Jordan Addison. The Cardinal (1-0) opened the season with a 41-10 romp over Colgate, an opponent from the Football Championship Subdivision. Stanford out-gained the Raiders 497-218, with quarterback Tanner McKee going 22-of-27 passing for 308 yards and two touchdowns. Cardinal is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings. Take STANFORD!

Arizona State at Oklahoma State 7:30 ET

Sun Devils (+) over Cowboys- Oklahoma State quarterback Spencer Sanders a redshirt senior accounted for six of the seven touchdowns for the Cowboys (1-0) in last week's 58-44 home win over visiting Central Michigan. Sanders threw for 406 yards while completing 28 of 41 attempts with four touchdowns and no interceptions. He also rushed for 57 yards on 11 carries with two touchdowns. completed 13 of 18 passes for 152 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions last week in a 40-3 victory over Northern Arizona. He rushed 11 times for 48 yards and two touchdowns and has proven he can play at this level. The 'Numbers' said tread lightly but I'm moving forward. Take ARIZONA STATE!

Alabama at Texas 12:00 ET

Longhorns (+) over Crimson Tide- Both clubs opened with lopsided wins with 'Bama routing Utah State 55-0 and Texas opened with a 52-10 rout of Louisiana-Monroe. Last year Texas stumbled to 5-7 in Steve Sarkisian's first season as coach and was formerly an offensive coordinator at Alabama and still has an advantage over 'Bama OC O'Brian. Texas is 7-1-1 all-time against Alabama with the loss coming in the BCS Championship Game at the end of the 2009 season and Crimson Tide are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Longhorns are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 non-conference games. Take TEXAS!

South Carolina at Arkansas 12:00 ET

Gamecocks (+) over Razorbacks- The Razorbacks (1-0) lead the all-time series 13-10 against South Carolina (1-0), but the Gamecocks have won the past three meetings, including a 48-22 win at Columbia, S.C., in 2017. Arkansas' coach with. Razorbacks quarterback KJ Jefferson threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns, while also running for another score and dominated the offense in a 31-24 victory over Cincinnati last week in a matchup of Top 25 teams. Cardinals (+) over Knights- Last Saturday Syracuse gained a measure of revenge on Louisville as the Cardinals had embarrassed the Orange in last year's meeting. Now, it is UL that is coming off an embarrassing play and will look to get it right against Central Florida who destroyed South Carolina State 56-10. They will find the competition a bit tougher this week. Cardinals are 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15 games following a ATS loss and the Knights are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win. Last season, Louisville beat visiting UCF 42-35 with QB Malik Cunningham putting up 364 yards total, 265 yards and a touchdown through the air and 99 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Clemson at Georgia Tech 8:00 ET

Yellow Jackets (+) over Tigers- Clemson opens the season Monday as a 22-point favorite against Georgia Tech in Atlanta as part of the annual college football Labor Day showcase. Tiger's QB junior quarterback DJ Uiagalelei is back after a poor 2021 showing as he had a completion rate of 55.6 percent and he threw for 2,246 yards, he averaged under 11 yards per completion. He finished with more interceptions (10) than touchdowns (nine). The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 3-9 season, including 2-6 in the ACC. Somehow, the Tigers cover. Take GEORGIA TECH!

Florida State at L.S.U. 7:30 ET

Seminoles (+) over Tigers- Sunday night's game in New Orleans has Florida State (1-0) playing LSU in the Allstate Louisiana Kickoff in the Caesars Superdome. The Tigers went just 6-7 last season as Ed Orgeron was fired as head coach and Brian Kelly left Notre Dame to speak cajun. I just don't see Notre Dame's winningest coach going over on Bourbon Street. The Seminoles have a new look and attitude and boy do they need it. Tigers will begin this season without John Emery, who was projected to be the top running back. FSU 5-2 ATS last seven games while LSU is 1-4 ATS in last five non-conference encounters. Take FLORIDA STATE!

Beavers (-) over Broncos- To start with the changes in Idaho have started to play out as Boise State is just not the dominating club that it has been the past two decades (7-5) their fewest wins since since 1998. Oregon State hasn't put together back-to-back winning seasons since 2012-13 and the Beavers were 6-0 on their home turf in 2021 while going 7-5 overall and playing in their first bowl game since 2013. Oregon State holds a 5-4 lead in the series and is 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings. Take OREGON STATE!

Buckeyes (-) over Fighting Irish- This one should be fun...as the storyline is this encounter is for dominance of the midwest media. Utah at Florida 7:00 ET

Gators (+) over Utes- I've already penciled the Utes into the Championship Series...haven't you! Yeah, like last year's North Carolina, the pundits and so-call experts are all over Utah to dominate the PAC-12 and west. When that much attention is bestowed on one team things usually don't go so well. Florida head coach Billy Napier is in his Gators debut and he went 40-12 the last four years at Louisiana. The Gators will be aided with the atmosphere at the Swamp and Utah needs to show it can win on the road last year when its losses came at BYU, at San Diego State, at Oregon State and in the Rose Bowl against Ohio State. Early season results have not been good for the Utes as they are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 games in September. Take FLORIDA!

Houston at TX-San Antonio 3:30 ET

Roadrunners (+) over Cougars- Both programs on the rise and battling for respectability as No. 24 Houston travels in-state to San Antonio to play the upstart UT Roadrunners. Houston went 12-2 in 2021, played for the American Athletic Conference championship and beat Auburn 17-13 in the Birmingham Bowl. UTSA also went 12-2 last season and climbed to No. 22 in the polls while going undefeated over its first 11 games. The Roadrunners won the Conference USA championship game and then lost to No. 24 San Diego State in the Frisco Bowl. San Antonio is 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games. Take the ROADRUNNERS!

Cincinnati at Arkansas 3:30 ET

Bearcats (+) over Razorbacks- This is the first meeting between these two schools don't have any history but they are both ranked side-by-side in the Top-25. Arkansa ranked No. 19 had a 9-4 record last year their best season in a decade and defeated Penn State 24-10 the Outback Bowl. Cincinnati of course made it to the Championships but were spanked by Alabama and the lost QB Desmond Ridder a 4-year starter with 43 wins. But, the Bearcats program is on the rise and most expect a huge drop-off from last season but, I don't. They are on the up swing and not getting the respect deserved. Take CINCINNATI!

Virginia Tech at Old Dominion 7:00 ET

Monarchs (+) over Hokies- Last year after a 1-5 start Old Dominion rallied to finish the regular season with five wins in six games to capture a berth in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. They have 17 starters back, including 10 on offense, and transfers from Power 5 schools the Monarchs will be under-rated' out of the Sun Belt. Tech was just 6-7 last season and are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall and ODU is 5-1 ATS in their last six home games. Take OLD DOMINION!

Penn State at Purdue 8:00 ET

Boilermakers (+) over Nittany- Boilermakers quarterback Aidan O'Connell had a prolific 2021 season throwing for 3,712 yards and 28 touchdowns while completing 71.6 percent of his passes as he paced Purdue to a 9-4 finish last fall and a Liberty Bowl win over Tennessee. Penn State started 2021 with a five-game winning streak that included two victories against ranked foes and a No. 4 national ranking of its own. But the Nittany Lions faltered after that, sputtering to a 7-6 finish that included a 24-10 loss to Arkansas in the Outback Bowl. The Nittany Lions have dominated the Boilermakers in the schools' history, going 15-3-1, including winning the past eight, But, O'Connell will be the difference here. Take PURDUE!

Bears (+) over Rebels- Baylor is going to try and run the ball and they should be able to if all goes to Hoyle. The Bears run for 215 yards a game and Mississippi's defense allows 183 YPG ranking them 102 in the nation against the run. But, what the Rebels do have is an offense that averages 507 YPG which is 4th nationally. The Bears are 15-5 ATS in their last 20 games as underdogs and are 43-21 ATS in their last 64 games against winning teams. As successful as Mississippi is they are only 3-10 ATS on field turf but still 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight bowl games. Take BAYLOR!

Utah vs Ohio State

Utes (+) over Buckeyes- Does The Ohio State University really even want to be here! I mean they never even go to the Big Ten Championship game lost to Michigan to close their regular season and end up with the consolation prize the Rose Bowl which is pretty good if you represent the Big Ten as champions and not as also rans. Utah closed the season in a flurry and hammered an Oregon team twice that beaten the Buckeyes in their season opener. OSU lead the nation in total offense (551 YPG) and the Utes strength is their No. 13 ranked defense allowing just 317 YPG. There has been too much time between games for offenses to remain sharp. The numbers (stats) will mean nothing here, what will matters is the players incentive and I don't believe that the Buckeyes have it. Take UTAH!

Wildcats over Hawkeyes- This one has me a bit confused as I loved a side at first jump and now have had to consider other options. When I saw Iowa as a 1-point favorite my thinking was that the Hawkeyes are in trouble. After all who is the football school, who was fighting for the Big Ten championship it was the Hawkeyes and I thought that they look too inviting and that Kentucky was the side.But not so fast...Wildcats ran for 471 yards last time out and Iowa was embarrassed 42-2 by Michigan. I see the Hawkeyes playing with that bad taste in their mouth and they don't like it. Take IOWA!

Marcus Freeman to the Fighting Irish player delight was name head coach after Brian Kelly flew the coop to LSU. Cowboys defense allows third lowest offensive yards a game at 273.6. Nittany Lions (+) over Razorbacks- At 8-4 No. 21 Arkansas is ranked above 7-5 No. 23 Penn State and rightfully so. The Razorbacks impressed the public early with a smash mouth win over Texas A&M while running for over 200 yards but, there is more to this team as they passed for 224 yards a game, not great but displaying great balance on offense. Hogs are 2-5 ATS in last seven as favorites and 5-11-2 ATS in non-conference games. Penn State is ranked 7th in points allowed with just 16.8 a game and were disabled this season when Sean Clifford when down. He's healthy now and the 'Backs are in trouble. Lions are 11-4-1 ATS in their last 16 non-conference games. Take PENN STATE!

Cincinnati is undefeated (13-0) and ranks dead even with the Tide in total defense at 305 yards allowed per game each. Of course the Crimson played a at different level of competition. But, it has been stated, 'boys that they have to put on their pants one-leg-at-a-time.' Bearcats 6-0 ATS against teams with winning records while the Tide are 2-5 ATS after an ATS win. Wisconsin started the season slowly and came on until their final game that kept them out of the Rose Bowl...they could give a crap about playing here and that's the Sun Devils best chance. Panthers (+) over Spartans- Big stars gone for both sides as the Spartans leading rusher and All-American Kenneth Walker III winner of the Doak Walker and Walter Camp Player of the Year Awards. Pittsburgh will be without quarterback Kenny Pickett and with his announcement the line more from the Panthers being a 3-1/2 point favorite to a 3-1/2 point underdog as many feel the loss of the QB would have more impact. But actually with the Panther sunder-rated defense able to take advantage of the worst pass defense in the nation. Take PITTSBURGH!

Boilermakers (+) over Volunteers- I can't get away from it, they Boilermakers have been good to me as winners against Iowa, Nebraska and Michigan State and then getting killed by Ohio State (Blowout Game of Year 59-31 winner). Things have changed as Purdue has had a number of top offensive producers bow out and the number has moved more than a touchdown. Ducks (+) over Sooners- Man, knowing what must be happening on the sidelines of both schools could be the key to winning this game. Oregon and Oklahoma both saw their coaches enter the transfer portals and move to other spots of paradise. The Sooners were undefeated and knocking on the FCS door and then ran into Baylor and Oklahoma State, alas here they are without their coach and original All-American QB (gone) while the wounded Ducks look to recover from a pair beating to Utah. Cyclones (+) over Tigers- Talk about a 'Tale of Two Seasons' the Clemson Tigers would love nothing better than to have a 'do over' for the first half of the year. Iowa State was disappointing with five losses and will be without their All-American running back Breece Hall so the offensive load will fall om quarterback Brock Purdy the Big-12 total offense leader. Tigers defense ranks No. 2 but incentive may be lacking. Take IOWA STATE!

Maryland vs Virginia Tech

Terrapins (+) over Hokies- If this matchup was on a basketball court with their 'cagers' it might be a better contest as both once former ACC rivals are 6-6 for the year. We have another Tagovailoa to deal with as Taulia leads the Maryland offense that crushed Rutgers 40-16 in their regular season finale to become bowl eligible making it to the postseason for the first time in five years. Virginia Tech who fired their coach Justin Fuente when 5-5 and defeated rival Virginia to qualify for this meeting. Hokies will be without their starting QB and leading pass catcher have opted out of this game. Take MARYLAND!

Mountaineers (+) over Golden Gophers- I'm going to start with the last game of the day and the game that will most likely be the most 'one-sided' bet game of the day. Let me tell to compare the 'numbers' between these two their isn't a chance in hell that you would in your right mind want West Virginia. Take a gander at this, the Mountaineers are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 bowl games and are 0-4 ATS as neutral site underdogs. Minnesota on the flip side is 4-0 ATS in their last four bowl games and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games as favorites. Number never lie but they can be very misleading...Take WEST VIRGINIA!

Mississippi State vs Texas Tech

Bulldogs (-) over Red Raiders- Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach on the Texas Tech sideline for a decade posting a winning record of 84-43 leading the Red Raiders to a bowl game each season. The Bulldogs scored 31 PPG this season with quarterback Will Rodgers threw for 35 TD's and an SEC leading 4,449 yards passing. Tech was lost at QB this season using three different starters and still don't have the answer. Bulldogs 5-1 ATS in last six with just a loss to Mississippi in the Egg Bowl, while the Red Raiders are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 bowl games and 1-5 ATS against the SEC. Take MISSISSIPPI STATE!

Air Force vs Louisville

Cardinals over Falcons- My first thoughts when learning of this matchup was 'good spot' for me to take the Air Force and if you gaze at the stats they would only reenforce one's original thoughts. The Falcons may fly high but it is their ground game which led the FBS in rushing with 341.4 PYG (yes more than both Army and Navy) This is sure to fire up the Louisville defense which allowed Kentucky 362 yards rushing in their final game a 52-21 loss. Doesn't look to good for the Cardinals as Air Force won this last game over UNLV by running for 511 and didn't attempt a pass.Thing is, the Cardinals have a better overall offense averaging 451 YPG and are better balanced. Take LOUISVILLE!

Georgia State and Ball State 2:30 ET

Cardinals (+) over Panthers- Both of these clubs had to made late season runs to become bowl eligible as Georgia State who started 1-4 won six of their final seven games and posted their first ever eight win season. Ball State clinched a bowl spot with a win in their final game 20-3 over Buffalo. Defense has been key for both squads and I expect a low scoring game...Take the points BALL STATE!

Gasparilla Bowl- Tampa, Florida

Central Florida vs Florida 7:00 ET

Gators (-) over Knights- At 6-6 is was a disappointing season for the Gators as they eked by Florida State 24-21 in their final game of the season to qualify for a bowl game. So bad a year it was for Florida that they fired head coach Dan Mullen before their final game against the Seminoles. Turmoil is the best way to describe Florida's position as starting quarterback Anthony Richardson will not play because of a knee injury and Emery Jones will start despite his entering the transfer portal after the game. The Knights will start true freshman Mikey Keene who took over for injured QB Dillon Gabriel who himself has also entered the transfer portal to UCLA. UCF has been disappointing as underdogs going 1-4 ATS in their last five in the role and are 6-15 ATS in their last 21 games overall. The Gators are 6-2 ATS in their last eight bowl games as favorites and 12-5 ATS as favorites at neutral sites. Take FLORIDA!

Armed Forces Bowl- Fort Worth, Texas

Missouri vs Army 8:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Black Knights- Having served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War I am always looking for an opportunity to 'play' on the Cadets and it is always difficult for me to bet against them. When looking at the stats of these two clubs it appears that the Army should dominate in what they do best as they average 286.4 yards a game rushing and Missouri allows 228.8 yards a game on the ground. One thing you always get from the military academies is a solid effort and after their loss to Navy I expect a big effort here from the Knights. Missouri had lost 12 straight games to the 'number' covering the past two seasons before closing the year 3-1 ATS but are off a loss to Arkansas in their final game. The Tigers did one thing well this season and that is protection the ball as they had the least amount of turnovers in the nation. With Army the favorite against an SEC team I believe is a stretch no matter what the stats say as they are 2-5 ATS as favorites. Take MISSOURI!

Cafe Frisco Bowl- Frisco, Texas

Texas-San Antonio vs San Diego State 7:30 ET

Road Runners (+) over Aztecs- Both clubs are looking to establish school records for wins in the season as UTSA (12-1) is in just its 10th year as an FBS program and is looking for their first bowl win in school history. San Diego State (11-2) enter this contest after getting thumped in the WAC Championship game by Utah State 46-13 although they allowed only 19.5 PPG holding opponents under 16 points seven times and rank No. 14 in yards allowed per game at 319. What makes this an even tougher call is that the Roadrunners USA Offensive Player of the Year Sincere McCormick is passing this game to enter the NFL draft. UTSA is 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games as underdogs while SDS is 0-4-1 ATS in their last five as favorites. Take TEXAS-SAN ANTONIO!

Idaho Potato Bowl- Boise, Idaho

Kent State vs Wyoming 3:30 ET

Golden Flashes (+) over Cowboys- I have always been a Cowboys fan but the Golden Flashes can shower you with points averaging 32.6 PPG while Wyoming will mosey you to sleep on offense scoring just 23.2 PPG. Kent enters this fray off a crushing MAC final defeat to Northern Illinois 41-23 although they out-gained the Huskies from the line scrimmage as they average 480.6 YPG while the 'Boys allow 171.3 yards per game rushing. The Flashes are also 8-2 ATS after a loss while Wyoming is 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games favorites although they are 5-1 ATS in their last six bowl games including a win over Central Michigan in the Idaho Potato Bowl in 2017...not this time. Take KENT STATE!

New Orleans Bowl- N.O. Louisiana

UL-Lafayette vs Marshall 9:15 ET

Thundering Herd (+) over Ragin Cajuns- Louisiana is 12-1 has won the Sun Belt Conference Championship game and are playing this in their back yard with this game in New Orleans. Marshall who will leave CUSA for the Sun Belt is 7-5 and is tied at No. 4 with 35 rushing touchdowns. The regular season competition may be stronger in the Sun Belt but the Ragin Cajuns are 2-5 ATS as favorites while Marshall is 6-2 ATS at neutral sites including 7-2 ATS in their last nine bowl games. This should go down the the final gun with the Herd getting the money. Take MARSHALL!

L.A. Bowl- Sci-Fi Stadium

Utah State vs. Oregon State 7:30 ET

Beavers (-) over Aggies- Golly, this game and side just jumped off the page when I saw the line in this match-up as Utah State enters winning the MWC Championship 46-13 over San Diego State. Oregon State comes limping in losing 3-of-5 including their last outing against rival Oregon. When you look at the team stats and records the Aggies have the advantage on offense with the defenses just about square. So, why is this line so slanted in the Beavers favor giving a conference champion so many points. This is the first bowl game and winning season for Oregon State since 2013 and this season they are 6-1 ATS against teams with winning records and 8-2 ATS in their last eight game after a loss. Take OREGON STATE!

Alabama-Birmingham vs Brigham Young 3:30 ET

Blazers (+) over Cougars- It was just a few short years ago (7 years-2015-17 )that UAB dismantled their football program but reinstated it after public outcry. Since their return to actin they have qualified for four bowl games in five seasons. BYU won five games against PAC-12 competition and also had a victory against Virginia but as an Independent they have received little respect. UAB is 4-0 ATS against teams with winning records and 4-1 ATSA as underdogs while BYU is 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall and in their last seven Bowl games. Take ALABAMA-BIRMINGHAM!

Boca Raton Bowl- Boca Raton, Florida

Western Kentucky vs Appalachian State 11:00 ET

Hilltoppers (+) over over Mountaineers- Western Kentucky was 1-1 and then lost four in-a-row before closing the regular season with seven straight wins before falling to San Antonio in the USA title game. Appalachian State is 10-3 and is looking to win 11 games for the first time in school history after losing in the Sun Belt Championship game to Louisiana 24-16. The Mountaineers are 6-0 all-time in bowl games while the Hilltoppers are 4-3 and App State is 4-1 lifetime against Western Kentucky. The Hilltoppers are No. 2 in the nation averaging 529 YPG and score 43.1 points while the Mountaineers defense is No. 2 in the country with 106 tackles for a loss but are 1-5 ATS against CUSA foes. Take WESTERN KENTUCKY!

Cure Bowl- Orlando Florida

Northern Illinois vs Coastal Carolina 6:00 ET

Chanticleers (-) over Huskies- The last time these two clubs played (not against each other) I posted wins with the Huskies in the MAC Championship game over Kent and against Coastal Carolina who won in OT against South Alabama but did not 'cover.' I believe that I have a great 'feel' for this contest where I expect Northern Illinois to fall after defeating the Flashes 41-23 but were out-gained and for the Chanticleers who out-gained USA by 150 yards to reverse their point-spread outcomes. Coastal played their first Bowl ever last season entering Orlando undefeated (11-0) but were defeated by Liberty 37-34 this time around they won't miss. The Huskies are 0-6 ATS in their six bowl games while the Chanticleers are 11-4 ATS in non-conference games. CC averages 40.4 points and surrendered 20 points per contest while UNI allows 33 points a game and 422 yards in the open MAC play. Take COASTAL CAROLINA!

Army vs Navy 3:00 ET

Black Knights (-) over Midshipman- Always a tough call especially if you are taking the favorite and a favorite of more than a touchdown is asking for trouble. I now the difference in records gives the Army the advantage but they don't play anywhere near the schedule of the Navy. I am a believer is giving the edge to the team tae has taken the harder road but the Midshipman didn't measure up any any level abs they average just 54 yards a game passing. It's not the the Cadets thrown the ball much better but ground game is the 'grunts' strength and these sailors can't compete in a one way game and beat this team. Navy's weakest spot has been at QB and they really haven't found the answer. Take the BLACK KNIGHTS!

Southern California at California 11:00 ET

Golden Bears (+) over Trojans- Honestly if ever a team was in position to just go through the motions it is this Southern Cal team. They are in a lame duck coaching situation have won only four of 11 games and are playing on the road in a makeup game after they have played their cross-town rivals. The trojans have no incentive none nothing nada...I don't think that they will come to play and the line shows it...a six-point shift since the opener. Take CALIFORNIA!

Houston at Cincinnati 4:00 ET

Bearcats (-) over Cougars- Too much, just too much! No not too much media hype but to much points. Really now just compare the season stats between these two. Other than the one loss Houston numbers are dead even with the Bobcats as they have a better defense by 12 yards and are just nine yards shorter per game on offense. With this 'number' being too much it id driving the action on to the Cougars and maybe Cincinnati is that good and belongs. We might see it here. Take CINCINNATI!

Georgia vs Alabama 4:00 ET

Crimson (+) Tide over Bulldogs- I knew it was going to happen...that I would end up with Alabama in this game a matchup where they are a virtual touchdown underdog. The Tide have been favorites in 92 consecutive games and that was back on Oct. 3, 2012 and they won that encounter. No one has come close to the Bulldogs except for Clemson in their opener and we thought the Tigers stunk but they showed their pedigree before the year was over. Alabama is game tested having had a few tough battles and a great come from nowhere win over Auburn last week. I have little doubt that Georgia is nt the better team as they are 10-3 ATS as neutral site favorites but the Crimson are 11-3 ATS after an ATS loss and the dogs is 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings. This one doesn't pass the eye or smell test but I believe they win the game. Take ALABAMA!

Utah State vs San Diego State 3:00 ET

Aggies (+) over Aztecs- It's been a huge climb for Utah State from the depths of the Mountain West in one season under first year coach Blake Anderson. San Diego State has been steady all season expect for a blemish against Fresno State and has a chance to win a 12 h game in a single season for the first time in school history. The Aztecs are well balanced averaging 177 yards a game on the ground but just 157 passing. The Aggies air it out and throw for 305 YPG and also run for 155. Take UTAH STATE!

Western Kentucky vs Texas-San Antonio 7:00 ET

Roadrunners (+) over Hilltoppers- This might be the best kept secret in college football and that is the Hilltoppers leading the nation in passing offense and having the No. 1 total offense in the Nation. Western Kentucky behind QB Bailey Zappe who has passed for 4,968 yards and 52 TD passes has won seven straight lost losing at home 52-46 to UTSA. The Roadrunners were 11-0 before their final regular season game loss to North Texas and they are 8-1 ATS after a straight-up loss and 13-3 ATS in their last 16 as underdogs. Take TEXAS SAN ANTONIO!

California at U.C.L.A. 10:30 ET

Golden Bears (+) over Bruins- I don't know if any of you saw UCLA last weekend but they have got speed to burn I men like five or six guys that are not only fast but quick off the mark. The Bruins are assured a bowl bid and are coming off the schools biggest win in their series with cross town rival USC scoring 62 points. Cal needs a win here and win one again next week hosting USC to reach the magic six wins become bowl eligible. The dog is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings and the Golden Bears are 12-1 ATS in their last 13 games as road dogs. Take CALIFORNIA!

Oklahoma at Oklahoma State 7:30 ET

Sooners (+) over Cowboys- Now, I don't ever remember the Sooners the underdog in this game and the fact that they are 90-18-7 in the all-time series but ya think that State would have been favored at some time...ever?. I don't know but I don't think I've seen it. I know that Oklahoma State has played the better football this season especially on defense allowing just 267 YPG. But that doesn't matter here cuz if it does the Cowboys can win here, nah...not today. Take OKLAHOMA!

Texas A&M at Louisiana State 7:00 ET

Tigers (+) over Aggies- Although this is the final home game for Louisiana native Ed Orgeron it may not be his last because with an outright win the Tigers qualify for bid with six wins. Texas A&M of course is trying to increase their brand and a higher tier bowl game. The Aggies season has eight wins with the one to remember was their win over undefeated No. 1 Alabama. The Tigers are 10-0 ATS in the last 10 meetings and 5-0 ATS at home and they are 16-5 ATS after an ATS loss. Take L.S.U.!

Wisconsin at Minnesota 4:00 ET

Golden Gophers (+) over Badgers- After the first month of this year's season I wouldn't have given you 10 cents toward Wisconsin turning it around they have winning seven straight and actually have a shot at the Big Ten championship. One of the team that was supposed to complete was Minnesota because an opening game injury sidelined the All- Big Ten running back Mo Ibrahim otherwise may have been different. As good as they are Wisconsin is still just 3-7 ATS against teams with winning records and the Gophers are 6-1-1 ATS in last eight as underdogs. Final bit, the underdog is 9-4-1 ATS in the last 14 meetings. Take MINNESOTA!

Ohio State at Michigan 12:00 ET

Wolverines (+) over Buckeyes- Having used Ohio State the past two weeks Blowout Game of Year and they responded like true champions. Now, the pressure is off until 'we' find a spot for them and yes we will. Can a new fresh chapter be written about this series on Sunday morning...the Buckeyes have won the last eight and 17 of the last 19 meetings and joked last year how the Wolverines just laid down in the second half. Is this the time that Jim Harbaugh and Michigan's defense stands up to the nation's best offense. The Wolverines must use their vaulted running game (218 ave) to control the ball and not turn the ball over. Take MICHIGAN!

Washington State at Washington 8:00 ET

Huskies over Cougars- Man...how these Huskies do stink along with Stanford, USC okay I'll stop. If there is one way the Huskies can salvage anything from this season it would be to win the Apple Cup and defeat their arch rival from State. Washington has won the last seven meetings and lead the overall series 74-32-6 and this will be the 113th meeting. It's just the way things go...take WASHINGTON!

Cincinnati at East Carolina 3:30 ET

Pirates (+) over Bearcats- The pressure is off Cincinnati as they responded like true A-Play Game of the Year choice should crushing SMU 48-14. Now, that the pressure is off they will relax just a tad and that will be enough for more than capable East Carolina. The Bearcats better be ready because the Pirates offense will steal the booty as they put up almost 20 yards a game more from scrimmage than does Cincinnati. Take the points and EAST CAROLINA!

Iowa at Nebraska 1:30 ET

Cornhuskers (+) over Hawkeyes- Believe it or not Iowa still has a chance for the Big Ten Title by first winning out here to clinch the West Division. Meanwhile, Nebraska has lost their last five and will miss the postseason for the fifth straight year. It hasn't been all bad for the 3-8 as they are 6-4-1 ATS and have out-gained each of their opponents by an average margin of 90 yards a game. In Big Ten action Nebraska with 458 YPG trails only Ohio State. Iowa has won six straight in Lincoln but has struggled in their last two without their starting quarterback Logan Smothers. Take NEBRASKA!

Mississippi at Mississippi State 7:30 ET

Bulldogs over Rebels- This could end up being a shootout of epic proportions if these two future pro quarterbacks play to their potential. These two state rivals will play the annual Egg Bowl in Starkville home of the Bulldogs and will host Mississippi who will be led by coach Lane Kiffin and his junior ready to leave for the NFL draft QB Matt Corral one of the Heisman favorites for the 9-2 Rebels. Mississippi State has had moments of great high's and a couple of disappointing performances and they are led by Mike Leach and his QB Will Rogers who has thrown for 4,113 yards, 34 TD passes with eight interceptions. Any team that has 'Will Rogers' at quarterback and he is from Brandon MS has my support! Take MISSISSIPPI STATE!

Western Michigan at Northern Illinois 7:00 ET

Broncos (-) over Huskies- We have seen a lot of strange 'numbers' come up in games this season and this line is one of the bigger surprises on the year. Let's start with the fact that Northern Illinois is on top of the MAC West with a 6-1 record and in last place in the West is Western Michigan at 3-4 in conference. So, why are the Broncos favored here, especially on the road where they are 1-3-1 ATS while the Huskies are 4-1 SU as hosts. Looking at the points overall UNI has been outscored by 12 points on the season by their opponents while UWM has outscored their opponents by six points in the year. Add that the Broncos are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 trips in Northern Illinois makes this even stranger. Take WESTERN MICHIGAN!

Oregon at Utah 7:30 ET

Utes (-) over Ducks- So, the No. 3 team in the nation is an underdog to a three loss Utah team. Oregon started the season by annihilating Ohio State in Columbus and have been give elite status because of that impressive win. Their loss came against a weak Stanford team that is 3-7 on the year and I find it difficult to accept the committee's judgement that they are the number 3 team in the nation. Think about it, the No. 4 team (Ohio State) is a 20-point favorite over the No. 7 team and yet the No. 3 team is an underdog to the No. 23 ranked team. The line stinks and the Ducks are overrated. Take UTAH!

Baylor at Kansas State 7:30 ET

Wildcats (+) over Bears- Okay, here we go! No. 11 Baylor is coming off a huge win over Oklahoma and celebrated like they had won the Super Bowl and now travel to Manhattan (Kansas that is). The Bears average 6.97 yard per play and 5.94 yards per rush while the Wildcats QB Skylar Thompson is completing 75% of his passes for Kansas State who have won four straight. Another contest where the oddsmakers expect a letdown out if the ranked team. They are right more often than not. Take KANSAS STATE!

Nebraska at Wisconsin 3:30 ET

Cornhuskers (+) over Badgers- It is hard to believe that the Badgers who opened the season 1-3 have reeled off six straight wins and they have come to life after the way they looked early of the season losing to Notre Dame and Penn State while showing no offensive life whatsoever. They have always had a stout defense bit their offense was pitiful in the years onset. Nebraska's offense is ranked 16th nationally with 459 ypg led by Adrian Martinez who has 10,408 career yards on offense. Cornhuskers will endure their fifth straight losing season since joining the Big Ten but come up big here. Take NEBRASKA!

S.M.U at Cincinnati 3:30 ET

Bearcats (-) over Mustangs- Well, if you have been waiting for Cincinnati to score some style points this is the spot. Aside from their win at Notre Dame the undefeated Bearcats have been a major disappointment against the number' going 3-7 ATS on the year and struggling to put weaker teams away to provide a reason for the pollsters to move them into the top spots for the playoffs. Now, they are up against a conference foe that can score and possible pull off an upset so I expect the Cats to be loaded for bear (HA). Take CINCINNATI!

Iowa State at Oklahoma 12:00 ET

Cyclones (+) over Sooners- Losing to Baylor last week the Sooners dropped to No. 13 in shock along with the rest of the college football world. Iowa State was supposed to be one of the challengers to Oklahoma for the Big-12 title but have been very disappointing and are 6-4 SU to date. The question here is will Oklahoma rebound after being dropped so low I the national ratings well aware that their title hope have been dashed. The Sooners always fade late in the season and are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games I November. The Cyclone are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings and get the money again from the disheartened Sooners. Take IOWA STATE!

Wake Forest at Clemson 12:00 ET

Tigers (-) over Demon Deacons- The Clemson Tigers have had what many consider a terrible season and yet they are 7-3 SU but a disappointing 2-8 ATS while Wake Forest has been a money maker for their backers the entire year going 9-1 SU. Granted the Tigers offense leaves much to be desired but their defense is as good as ever while the Deacons seem to score at will. Wake is playing for the ACC title and Clemson has owned that spot for what seems like forever and they are looking to tell the Demon's you may win it this season but will still own you. Take CLEMSON!

Michigan State at Ohio State 12:00 ET

Buckeyes (-) over Spartans- Last Saturday 'we' use Ohio State as our NCAA Blowout Game of the Year and the responded by destroying Purdue 59-31 and were never threatened. This week most expect them once again as huge favorites over No. 7 Michigan State to play a most closer game against stronger competition. Nope, I don't think so! The oddsmakers are making it so inviting to take the Spartans as they are 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS on the year. I expect the same kind of result this week as the Buckeyes via for the FBS bid. Take OHIO STATE! 1

San Diego State at U.N.L.V. 11:30 ET

Rebels (+) over Aztecs- UNLV hadn't won a football game in over two years and now they have won two straight and are not longer the doormat of the Mountain West. San Diego State has defeated the Rebels in 15 of the last 19 meetings and are in position to win the Western Division title after their win over Nevada last week but will still have to win against Boise State next week. Although, UNLV is 2-8 SU on the season they are 7-3 ATS and have played tough against the likes of Fresno State and others in the MWC. SDS enter the top-25 despite averaging only 137 yards passing ranking 126rg nationally and the rebels have their career rushing leader in Charles Williams who has gained over 4,000 career rushing yards. At home with a new confidence and a great running back the Rebels should keep this one close. Take UNLV!

Air Force at Nevada 9:00 ET

Falcons (+) over Wolf Pack- Nevada had a chance to secure a spot in the MWC title game but was upended by San Diego State 23-21 last weekend and now face an always tough service academy who broke a 2-game losing streak with a win over Colorado State and are now 7-3 AU on the season. The Wolf pack have the nation's 4th ranked passing game with 373 ypg while the Air Force has the nation's No. 5 ranked defense allowing just 288 ypg overall along with the nation's No.1 rushing offense at 311 ypg. After blowing last weeks opportunity I believe the Pack will be dispirited. Take the AIR FORCE.

Wolfpack (+) over Demon Deacons- I call it my 'bang-bang' theory. What happens is that when a team goes deep into the season undefeated and then suffers their initial loss. Somehow only 6-3 Virginia has the No. 1 ranked total yards offense in the nation averaging 545 ypg the 'Golden Domer's' average 393 ranking 71st. Ole Miss averages over 525 yards a game and almost 600 throwing out Bama six weeks ago. Take MISSISSIPPI!

Terrapins (+) over Spartans- I call it the 'Bang-Bang' when a team has aspersions and losses late into the season they have difficulty rising to the point of enthusiasm that one had and struggle their following game. It happen to Iowa, it happen to Penn State and it's about to happen to Michigan State. Now, Maryland is nothing special but the Spartans have Ohio State in Columbus next week and with their dreams shattered last week they should be in a lull that the 5-4 Terrapins can take advantage of as they average 430 ypg including 316 passing. Buckeyes (-) over Boilermakers- Not since 'we' had Georgia laying 17-points to Arkansas (37-0) have I felt so strongly about a side. Seminoles (+) over Hurricanes- In all my years and there have been a few I don't really ever recall these two schools having both played at such an inferior level. Miami has shown some life because thankfully for them imposter D'Eriq King was injured and future pro QB Tyler Van Dyke took over leading the Hurricanes to five wins. Miami leads the rivalry 35-30 having won the last four meetings and their last three overall. FSU has dropped their last two and have had difficulties on offense but they do manage to score points. The Canes may have the stats and the swagger but this on field their arrogance will cost them here. Take FLORIDA STATE!
