Taking the RAMS. Joe Flacco. Come on. This is spot for Stats Padford, Pad Statsford, I mean Matt Staford to do just that. Browns in b2b road spots. Off loss in Denver. We had Denver in that spot with Cleveland off b2b division wins over the Steelers and Ravens. Just not a good spot for them here.4* Money Maker LA RAMS

Taking the PANTHERS. I am not a lover of Carolina, but there is not a chance I lay points with Tampa. Panthers have been flat out awful on offense. This is just one of those spots where I have to hold my nose and play the ugly dog. 10-10-13-13-15 points for them. Yet Tampa can't be favored by at least a TD? At least this team looks like it can win an NFL game twice a month. I won't be shocked if Carolina wins outright. Something just screams to be to grab Panthers. 4* Money Maker CAROLINA PANTHERS

Taking the STEELERS. Finally some offense from Pitt as they can Matt Canada. They still couldn't punch it in the end zone though. But we know that the Steelers will bring defense and Tomlin gets the most out of least. Taking the CHARGERS. Uh. Not that I ever want to lay points with the Chargers. Just two weeks ago I was in Mid Day Money and telling you to take the Packers at home. Now we get LAC off an bad loss on SNF. But, we get the Patriots off an even worse loss. And I really have to say, I was going to take NE here. I just can't. If that is the effort out of the bye week, it is officially over for this team. Not going to overthink. Patriots have some serious issues. Grab some Herbert Over Rushing 15.5 yards too. 4* Money Maker LA CHARGERS

Taking the J E T S Jets Jets Jets. There is zero chance I am taking the Falcons vs any team as a road favorite. Lost at Arizona as a fave 25-23. Lost at Tennessee as a fave 28-23. Lost at Detroit 20-6. Lost at the Jags 23-7. Beat the Titans 16-13. So in a game between 2 teams that have trouble scoring, give me the home dogs. 4* Money Maker NEW YORK JETS

Taking MIAMI. Dolphins should be able to do what Dallas did last week to Washington. This Washington team is a hot mess. I think they have officially quit on the season. Trade some guys. Fire the DC.   Taking the COLTS. I do like the Titans coach. But Indy just seems to be in a groove right now. Only time these guys haven't score at least 20 was when they played in England. So we know the Colts will score here. Will the Titans? They have been know to explode at home at times. 27 vs LAC, 27 vs Cincy. 28 vs Atlanta. But I am not buying it. The first 2 with Tannehill. Taking the COWBOYS. I said on Thanksgiving during Mid Day Money - if you want to bet on Dallas, get on them early. They have crushed bad teams. This game can be 40-16 and Seattle if facing a Niners team getting healthy. Well. Dallas rolls. Niners win. Geno banged up. This line is off to the races. Maybe a tease with Dallas and the over or team total. Both teams rested. But Dallas and Dak at home. Man. They are looking good. Wining games by 35-32-23-35-20. The defense is not to shabby either! I won't lump Seattle into the teams Dallas has crushed here (Washington - Jets - Giants - Rams - Patriots) But this will still play out to the Cowboys winning something along the lines of 31-13, 34-17. Have to like them in this spot. Plus - a bonus play- Next week. home vs Philly. Philly off KC, OT Bills and then San Fran this week. Extra rest for the 'Boys.  4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

Taking the EAGLES. Uh. So - I thought that the Bills would destroy the Jets. And I thought KC would beat Philly. We couldn't catch passes and Philly pulls out the MNF win. Not loving this as much as I did before the games. But I am still on the Eagles here. Every week a must win for Buffalo. Allen as great as he is, does turn the ball over. We will need it. Philly outgained in their last 3 games. I won't be shocked if this is 2.5 by kickoff with people buying in on new OC in Buffalo and a QB who needed a kick in the pants. Taking the RAIDERS. I will be the first to admit that I thought Miami would whip Vegas. I said on Look Ahead Lines, man, 10 points, might look at Vegas in that spot. Then it ballooned to 14 and I thought, man, I was way off. Hello 20-13. The team has taken on the fighting persona of their HC. I think that even getting KC off a loss, they should cover here. Chiefs have been a defense first team the entire season. The Browns have scored more points than them. The Bears have scored more points than them. Short week. Some questions about the offense. I know normally this is spot you would really expect Andy Reid and Mahomes to work their magic. But Vegas as a feisty home dog at this price is too good to pass up. 4* Money Maker LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Taking the BRONCOS. Had the Browns last week, but like a good friend of mine likes to say - you need to know when to be on and off a team. And traveling to Denver is not where I want my Cleveland money to be. Broncos are in off a pair of pair of dog fights on Sunday + Monday night football. That is now 4 straight wins. I have said multiple times that Denver has a cloud still hovering over them based on Miami dropping 70 on them. Well the defense has turned this around their last 5 games. The Browns just beat the Steelers and Ravens in b2b weeks. Rookie QB on the road. I dunno. The line has moved to Denver as the favorite. Just another reason to tune into Look Ahead Lines and Mid Day Money. Still like the Broncos here to cover the new number. 4* Money Maker DENVER BRONCOS 

Taking the STEELERS. Well. Slight line move here as the Bengals go with Browning at QB. Honestly - even at the new number I would still take Pittsburgh. You know that their defense will show. And the Cincy defense - well. Let's just say they haven't been received an invite to the season yet. 4* Money Maker PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Taking MIAMI. Now. Am a bit concerned being a road favorite here. Yeah. Look. Jets are a mess. Off a total beat down in Buffalo. But we have to be honest with Miami here. The lose to good teams. And really - yesterday's game vs the Raiders. It is a bit of a red flag. Where was the offense? Off a bye week and that is what we get? Raiders had just beat the Jets and Giants. Tua is a heck of a lot better than those QBs. And yet, they couldn't get into the end-zone. I thought the Bills would put up a 34 spot vs NYJ. Here is another spot where I have to think Miami does the same thing. The Jets defense has to be just completely out of gas, and frankly, out of patience. The offense is truly offensive. Dolphins on talent alone should win this by a dozen. 4* Money Maker MIAMI DOLPHINS 

Taking SAN FRAN. That little 3 game slide looks to be behind them. A pair of wins their last 2 games. No need to really run it up vs Tampa yesterday with a short week and road travel up to Seattle on deck. Seahawks in off a tough loss. If you watch my Look Ahead Lines, or on a monthly, you got the Rams +2.5 instead of as a favorite. Now Seattle has to regroup off blowing that game and face a far superior team. Not sure Drew Lock gets it done if Geno is not suiting up. Line already on the move like he is out. Niners by 10. 4* Money Maker SAN FRAN 49ers

 Taking WASHINGTON. Not the best line as there are 11s. But It wont' matter. This will be a 1 score game - heck I will not be shocked if Washington wins this one. Dallas has 3 losses - all on the road. Philly + SF. and that Arizona mess. They have destroyed bad teams. And make no mistake, Washington is bad. But this is also a Dallas with a HC who can lay some eggs. And double digits on a short week. Not really something I want to get behind the Cowboys with - especially vs a division rival. Taking DETROIT here early Thursday. This played out exactly how I thought it would. Said it on Mid Day Money, Said it on Look Ahead Lines... We knew the Bears were going to give the Lions a game, and the Chargers would do Chargers and lose at Green Bay. Now the Lions are in off a bad game, albeit a win, but can really get back in the groove vs the Packers. Blowout city. 4* Money Maker DETROIT LIONS

Taking the CHIEFS. Not overthinking things one bit. You can go KC Money Line if you want. The ML were not posted when I put the picks up on Sunday night. Andy Reid an absolute beast with his bye weeks. Something along the lines of 27-4 SU. I know the break helped Philly who is a little banged up on both sides of the ball. The difference here, like the Super Bowl. Mahomes + the Chiefs Defense. This unit is giving up 19ppg. The last year and a half, the defense has carried this teams, even as great as their QB is. The defense is what is making this team so dangerous. Prior to their bye, the held the best offense in the NFL scoreless for a half and when they did finally score, the outcome was already set in stone. If you watch the Look Ahead Lines Show on Sunday Night during halftimes, you would have already been on the UNDER 48.5 on this game. 4* Money Maker KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

 Taking the RAMS. Normally, you would probably be thinking - let's take Seattle here. Good revenge spot. Got beat at home 30-13, looked terrible. Last time we saw the Rams they were flailing helplessly in Green Bay losing 20-3 behind QB Bret Rypien. Fresh off their bye week, a humiliating performance, and getting their QB back under center - it is time to back the home team here. 4* Money Maker LA RAMS  

Taking TENNESSEE. Now. I do have a bad number here at +6 as has moved to +7. And  honestly, I probably should have waited because the entire betting world will be on the Jaguars here. Yes - Both teams off bad games last week. But getting trucked by the Forty Niners, and getting beat down by Tampa Bay are two teams, playing different games. There will be no argument from me that the Jaguars are better. But I am here for the line. Everyone and their grandma will think - man, Jax should crush these guys. Jacksonville is just 1-3 at home. Losses to the Niners, Texans and Chiefs here. Beat the Colts here. Falcons win was in London. Titans have lost 8 straight on the road now. Playing a 3rd straight road game for any team is difficult. Tossing in a rookie QB makes it even harder. But I love the coach. Love the fact they have already been written off.  4* Money Maker TENNESSEE TITANS

 Taking the RAVENS. 3rd straight home game for Baltimore and in off a last second loss where they blew a lead. Sign me up for the home favorites here. Short week for the Bengals who, on defense, just got lambasted by a rookie QB. A former MVP will have his way tonight. Over 500 yards and 386 to the QB. Wow. I know series why this is normally a FG type game. I just don't see it. I have said multiple time on Mid Day Money and the Look Ahead Lines show that the Ravens are the dangerous team in the AFC. I know everyone loves KC and the Tua/Hill show in Miami. Even Joe Cool with the visitors get more love. People will say, well, Burrow wasn't healthy the last time they played that is why Baltimore won.. Hello Bengals beat Anthony Brown 27-16 and the next beat Tyler Hunter in the playoffs 24-17.All Lamar does when he plays is win games. This line opened at 2.5 and has moved to 4 in some spots for a reason. Don't overthink things. 4* Money Maker BALTIMORE RAVENS 

Going UNDER the total here on Monday night. We get Denver off their bye week. Broncos defense has turned things around the last few weeks. 9-17-19 points allowed. It is odd that they have allowed 31 to the Jets, 35 to Washington and 28 to the Bears. That 70 to Miami is a fluke. 9 and 19 to the Chiefs. 17 to Green Bay and 17 to Vegas. The Bills fans will think Josh Allen goes wild here. This team has played what, 3 good games, or complete games this season. 38-10 vs Vegas - 37-3 vs Washington - 48-20 vs Miami. Their defense should be able to get the job done and keep Denver from getting to 20. But the offense has struggled in those other games. 18-24-25-14-20-16. I don't think Bills get to 30 and this is something like 27-16.  4* Total Money UNDER Broncos/ Bills 

Taking DALLAS. I said in Mid Day Money before Dallas and the Giants even played, take Dallas at -10 before they beat the Eagles. Well. They didn't beat Philly, But the Giants continue to swoon. They were scoring 11ppg with Jones and Taylor. How are they scoring 10 here? Heck, how are they scoring 6? They aren't This line is now 15 or more. I would lay 20. Dak is hot. Cowboys angry off their loss. They mauled the Giants 40-0 in game 1. More of the same here. Absolute destruction. 4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

Now off a Monday Night Win in New York. Everyone watched a pair of blowout wins and a defense that gave up 19 points. Now it is time to face a real time that has a capable QB. Lions on a 15-3 ATS run last 18. Wow. 8* Sure Shot DETROIT LIONS

Taking the COLTS. I am shocked that there is still this much respect for the Patriots. They are 2-7 on the year. They are also 2-7 ATS. What have we seen to make us think they win here? I was on the Colts in Game 1 of the season. Not. It didn't go as planned. I thought I would Minshew Mania and Taylor right from the door. They are both here now. The offense is humming. We had the Over last week in their game and although it didn't get there, they did their part. 27-27-38-20-23-23-22-31-21. They can score. The Patriots. 17-17-fluke 29 -17 - 0 - 3 -15-17 -20. Come on. That is 20 or more TWICE on the year! Now they turn it around? PuhLeaze. 4* Money Maker INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Taking the BEARS. The fact that this line has moved this much amazes me. I am glad to be on the better number, but is this too much of an overreaction? Young is off a terrible game. The team is bad, I get it. But Chicago is just a win better at 2-7. Short week for both teams. Do we give a little point lean to the home team? Is it that we might get Fields back at QB? That could be the main reason. We know Fields has the wheels to take off, and this Panthers defense can give up yards on the ground. On the road at Miami Detroit and Seattle. Nearly 600 yards allowed. And even if it is Bagent, the kid went for 70 on the ground last week vs a better defense in New Orleans. Chicago should get it done here tonight. I can't see Carolina putting up more than 13. 24-13 Bears. 4* Money Maker CHICAGO BEARS

Taking the JETS. Do not trust the Chargers on the road. The coach will make a bonehead decision. Jets defense is good. We saw last week, a Jets team that looked brutal. We saw on SNF, a Chargers team that everyone falls in love with. Line keeps going up. I think Jets hang and have a shot at the outright win tonight. 4* Money Maker NY JETS

Taking the BENGALS. Another number we have in our favor. Look Ahead Lines is every Sunday night at half-time of the SNF game. Watch it. Or re-listen to the podcast. The line move doesn't shock me because I said this would happen. It doesn't matter. Cincy, and Burrow, are moving in the right direction. This is a team in Buffalo that they have figured out. 27-10 last year. That Bills team was better. Bills lost at New England and on the road to the Jets. This is a tough spot for them. Bengals did exactly what I thought they would do coming off their bye week. Big win in San Fran. No let down spot at all. 4* Money Maker CINCINNATI BENGALS

 Taking the COWBOYS. This Eagles team. 7-1, but can be 4-4. A good team finds a way to win. But now they face a team that beaten them 4 of the last 5. And might have a better defense. Dak is the key. He has good numbers vs Philly. Cowboys special teams has been good. I still think Philly is more banged up then Dallas is. Might be a homer play since I am a fan of the Cowboys. But I am 8-2 with their games this season, 4-1 sides, 4-1 totals. Think I have the pulse of what to expect. 4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

Taking the RAIDERS. It does not matter who is the QB for the Giants. The OL will leave that poor sap to run for his life. You would think it would be impossible to top they way they lost to Buffalo 2 weeks ago. But man - OT loser vs the Jets. Just wow. Vegas, for as inept as they had been under McDaniels, did play defense. Now though - this is a breath of fresh air. New Coach. New QB. Players happy. I might jump in on the Over here as well. 4* Money Maker LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

 Going OVER the total here. Colts 6-2 to the over on the year. Saw or heard that they are the ONLY team to score 20 or more in all their games this season. They should be good for close to 30 here vs the Panthers who give up 28ppg. Panthers run D is one of the worse in the league. Taylor + Morris will have huge games. Minshew will carve up the confused secondary. Honestly - we might need just 10 points from Carolina here. This game might be 30-7 at the half. Now. If Carolina HC Frank Reich can really rally his troops vs his old team, then we might have this over by halftime! 4* Total Money OVER Colts/ Panthers 

4* Total Money OVER Vikings/ Falcons

Taking ATLANTA. This is prime example of why you should listen to Look Ahead Lines at half-time of the Sunday Night Game. Now you are laying at least a 4 spot now. I don't think it matters honestly. I like Taylor Heinicke better. It was nice that the Falcons said to Ridder, go ahead kid, it is your show. But it was just not there. Too much talent on offense to be sputtering. Heinicke was solid with Washington. I think this team is better. Vikings have some a new QB, no star WR, and a run game that can't run. 4* Money Maker ATLANTA FALCONS

Going UNDER the totals. Packers have scored more than 18 points exactly 1 time in their last 5 games. Love, and the rest of this Green Bay team have taken a huge step back. Wow. I was wrong with my take GB to win the North takes. This offense is bad. The defense is solid. Rams sent Rypien out to start. Not expecting huge fire works here. I will be shocked if we get more than 33 points. 4* Total Money UNDER Rams/ Packers

  Going OVER the total. I think the Ravens put up 34+ this afternoon. Something about this team I just like. And this Seattle bunch. Not a bad group. On the road we saw them in a 41-23 game vs SF. 37-31 vs the Lions. Two pretty good offenses and we had points from both teams. 24-3 at the Giants. Again, Seattle doing their part, but NYG with no offense. 17-13 in a dogfight vs Cincy. This is a game I just chalk up to an ugly one. Seattle has offensive weapons. Ravens are getting into a groove going for 31-38-24 (10) and 28 in last 4 games. We should sail over this to something in the 50s. 4* Total Money OVER Seattle/ Baltimore 

Going UNDER the total. I am not sure how people have not seen that this is a Defense First KC team. And it has been like this for over a year now. Let's add in the travel from Denver to KC to Germany. For all the Tua and Hill offensive accolades (33ppg) , this Miami team is just 4-3 to the Over on the season. And for me - the Dolphins have lost at Buffalo and Philly. A pair of "step up in class' type games. Both of those on the road. 31 + 48 Points allowed. KC was mustering up just 22ppg when you remove that 41 spot vs the lowly Bears. 4* Total Money UNDER Dolphins/ Chiefs

 Going UNDER the total. Rookie QB on a short week. Home team with backup veteran QB leading an offense that has been outgained in every game. A pair of defense first HCs. First team to 16 wins. 4* Total Money UNDER Titans/ Steelers

Taking the TITANS. Saw some clown on Twitter say, oh man - Pitt has won 4 in a row vs Tenny and 7 of the last 10 bro. Easy money.  Yeah. Because Big Ben out-dueling Zack Mettenberger, and Bishop Sankey (2014 game) tearing it up for 38 yards is what we should be looking at. Or Levon Bell going for 200+ on the ground! Heck- The last time they played (2021) Big Ben was the QB still. Come on people. Look - yes - a short week with a rookie QB making his first NFL road start vs an always tough opponent. I think maybe Trubisky is a better fit as a veteran here than Pickett. But the Steelers have been outgained in every game this year. Henry and Hopkins are probably the best skill guys on the field and the helps the rookie QB. As much as I love Tomlin, the Titans got a HC who isn't too shabby. In what should be an ugly, low scoring game - give me any points with the visitors. 4* Money Maker TENNESSEE TITANS 

Taking DETROIT. We had the Ravens last week - Lions in b2b road spots, and off a win. Now,  home. Raiders - come on. This team lucks itself into wins. Detroit, at least has some talent and a little spunk in them and their coach. And that is a clear edge for the home team here as well. It doesn't to me who starts for Vegas. The team will shoot itself in the foot. Need a big home win here with a trip to face the Chargers on deck for the Lions. 4* Money Maker DETROIT LIONS

Taking the BEARS. How can anyone site there and think that you can back the Chargers laying double digits? This is team you are comfortable laying a big number with? We have to go back 9 games, January of 2023 against the Rams, to find a game they won by more than 7 points. They have no home field. Their coach might make the Bears coach look like Halas. The defense isn't all that special. Obviously this is me not having in LAC. I can't say anything about the Bears other than they have won 2 of their last 3. Momentum? I'll grab the big dogs in Prime Time. (like we did in Mid Day Money when they played Washington $) 4* Money Maker CHICAGO BEARS

Taking the BENGALS. Said to grab this on Look Ahead Lines on Sunday night. Niners short week and Cincy off a bye week. Add in a Sam Darnold start - again, on a short week. Not a good spot for San Fran. ( I do have a Darnold Comeback POY ticket) I did like Cincy more before the line move. But still think this worth it. Anything less than +3 though I would probably go Bengals ML. 4* Money Maker CINCINNATI BENGALS

 Taking the SEAHAWKS. Back up QB for Browns. The Browns defense looked real human last week. They been great all season though. Seattle a little banged up on offense, but it is tough winning on the road in the NFL, especially in b2b weeks with a backup QB. Add in how they also got a little bit of luck in the win over the Colts, plus, that Niners win. Not this time. 4* Money Maker SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

  Taking the PATRIOTS. So, Miami was a 1pt favorite when these guys played earlier. Now double digits. And this line has dropped, and will probably settle around 9-10. Easy to think the Dolphins just bounce back after getting manhandled by Philly. I am fading that and grabbing the ugly dog though. Achene is out. Mosart is banged up. Hill is banged up. The trends all  point to Miami. I think NE stays within the number. 4* Money Maker NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 

Taking the UNDER. What can we say here? Niners off a loss? Come on. They allowed 19 points. But, since it was to basically the 4th string QB, maybe they are extra angry. They are still a little banged up on offense. Vikings have gone 5-1 to the Under in their games. San Fran is more an over team because of the playmakers on offense. Going UNDER the total here. Steelers off a bye and Tomlin shines in this spot as I saw somewhere he is 12-4. Wow. (I do like the Rams -3 here). Give me the under though. You know Pitt will bring defense. I don't think the offense gets on track from a week off. Rams a little banged up in the backfield with their RBs. That can just let the Pitt pass rush come with their ears pinned back. I think its ugly. 4* Total Money UNDER Steelers/ Rams

 Taking TAMPA. And why wouldn't we have them here? 10/1 to win the South. Over the win total. Young QB on the road vs a good defense. Losing to the Lions and Eagles. Acceptable. Those are good squads. The Falcons are not. I mentioned Ridder on the road. Basically a rookie. His two road starts, at Lions, vs Jags in London. 43-13 combined losers. Again. Tampa with a defense and that is enough for us to get the win. 4* Money Maker TAMPA BAY

Taking DALLAS. This is an absolute MUST win for the 'Boys. You get destroyed on SNF. Now on MNF you get to face your old OC - Man. You faced this cat and his offense in practice for years. You should know every aspect of what he expects. The Dallas defense is their strength. I have said multiple times the offense is a work in progress. But I think they get up for their new OC and, more importantly to show a little pride for themselves. So- one of the worse losses ever for Dallas. Chargers off their bye week, but injury concerns for Herbert's hand and Ekeler's ankle. Cowboys defense far superior to Chargers. We find out what kind of heart Dak has tonight after that 3 INT game.  4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

 Taking the RAMS. These guys are 2-3 and have played at Seattle, Indy and Cincy. Home vs Philly and San Fran. Cards are, I still think, one of the worse teams in the league. I have an under 3.5 ticket on them for the season. We saw the Rams go on the road after the Niners game and play Cincy to a 19-16 game. The same Cincy team on the road dropped 34 with no Tee Higgins. Cards are bad. Kupp working his way back. Stafford has found something with Nacua. Am I crazy thinking the Rams put up 30+ this afternoon? I'll take a 10pt win, but I think we clear that by another TD. 4* Money Maker LA RAMS

4* Total Money UNDER Lions/ Bucs

Taking TAMPA. We have been on these guys most of the year. I said back in August, take some Tampa 10/1 to win the South, on the free pick preview shows, and on Mid Day Money. Bucs have a defense. Lions, as I have said before. The hyped team coming into the season. Not buying them as a favorite vs a team with a good defense. Beating up on Carolina. Come on. Beating the Falcons at home with basically a rookie QB. Please. Green Bay? That win is looking a little suspect and that is coming from the guy who has GB to win the North tickets! Taking the COLTS. Just a good spot here. Jags back from their 2 games in England, and a big win over the Bills. Had Indy back on Week 1. Couldn't punch it in from the 1. Richardson was knocked out, and, hurt again, will not be playing. But we know have a pretty solid 2 headed rush attack. A little ML might be worth a shot here also.  5* Best Bet INDIANAPOLIS COLTS 

Taking the SEAHAWKS. Off a bye week and will be ready for Cincy. I expect a run heavy game after Arizona gashed this defense. (Also on the UNDER). Burrow 3 TDs last week, 2 on the season before facing the Cards. Seattle defense was insane vs Giants. I think Cincy is better. But I do have doubts about their OL. Taking MIAMI. How the heck will Carolina stay within 20 here? I know the line has moved to about 2 TDs since I posted this. I still will lay it. Carolina was down 28-7, hit a late FG at the half 28-10. It's 35-10 42-17. Garbage TD with 2 minutes left for the 42-24 final. Young is young, so expect another INT or 2. Miami's explosiveness on offense will get them a lead, and means they can come hair on fire after the QB and not worry about any running game. Miami toyed with the Giants and won 31-16 giving up 3 FGs and no TDs. Try on a 102 INT return. This should be something along the lines of 38-13. 8* Sure Shot MIAMI DOLPHINS

Taking ARIZONA. This is why I say to watch live, or listen on your podcasts to Sunday Nights Look Ahead Line Show. Line is 3. If you want to make money betting NFL, you don't bet on Sunday. Look - Do your bankroll a favor and keep taking any points that the line makers give you with teams playing Cincy. Burrow is hurt. Taking the RAMS here. Another good number as we catch Philly heading cross country, and off an OT game. A game they probably should have lost. I know the Iggles haven't played their best - and yet they still got me last time on the road Monday night in Tampa. But this is a little better team - which is tough for me to type in here. I thought this Rams bunch was left for dead. But the offense hasn't been all that bad. The defense shows up. Line has moved from 6 down to 4. I still like anything more than a FG. Eagles defense gives up passing yards and that is how LA moves the ball. Philly has been playing with fire most of the season in these one score wins. It will catch up to them. Is it an outright win for the Rams here? Maybe. But the points will get us the cover and a W either way. 4* Money Maker LA RAMS

Going UNDER the total here. I will also be taking the Lions in this one, if by some chance this turns into an absolute blow out. I think Detroit score 27-31 here. Where is the Carolina offense coming from? Bryce Young is the worse QB in the league. 1 TD drive not in garbage time. Dalton? Come on. Look - for all the hype on Detroit, the defense has been really good and is not getting a lot of credit. If the Panthers score more than 13 here I will be totally shocked. 4* Total Money UNDER Panthers/ Lions

Taking MIAMI. Normally I am one to say-- Yeah. So and so looked so bad we have to come back and grab them. Well - I did that after NY was destroyed on a SNF vs the Cowboys. They got demolished in the first half before coming back to beat Arizona. It is another thing saying lets take them against Miami. Dolphins off their own bad loss getting spanked by their rivals in Buffalo. Huge get back on the right track spot here. It might be a square look. But I cannot see NYG staying with, or slowing down Miami. Giants D giving up 30ppg. Offense has scored 3 vs Seattle at home, 0 vs Dallas at home - 12 in San Fran.. - and that 31 piece vs Arizona. Where do you think Miami defense falls in with those 4 teams? This should be 38-16. Miami should win this one by 20+ this afternoon. 4* Money Maker MIAMI DOLPHINS

Taking the RAVENS. I know I am suppose to 'buy low' here on the Steelers. Getting beat by the Texans on the road! But let's look at this team. Did nothing vs the Niners. Beat Cleveland in a game, honestly, they should have lost. Couple defensive TDs to start and end their scoring. And 1 big pass play. Do we chalk that up to the Browns being the Browns? Because the Ravens aren't the Browns. Yes. These games have been dog fights 16-13 - 16-14 - 16-13 OT - 20-19 - 19-14 the last 5 in the series. Tyler Hunter the started the last 3 games. Lamar Jackson for 1 - and, hello - RG3!! - Big Ben was playing for Pitt in 3 of the 5. DIFFERENT TEAMS. Lamar behind center is a difference maker. Going UNDER the total here. Not going to overthink this one. Chiefs defense has been under rated this season, and really in my eyes, last year as well. Everyone thinks points points points because of Mahomes. The defense is solid. This Jets offense is just offensive. The only way this goes over is if KC just unloads like last week and drops a 44 on their own. KC FH should probably be on your ticket tonight also. Could be 30-0 and then the run game sweats begin. 4* Total Money UNDER Chiefs/ Jets

4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

Going UNDER. I have what I think is a top defense in Dallas that is off a terrible game in Arizona. I have a defense in the Patriots, that is probably a top half of the league unit. We won't get into all the Dallas stuff. Let's just look at New England. Week 1 vs Philly. Down 16-0 off turnovers, they then hold Philly to just 3 FGs. 4 FGs for the defense and 12 points. Against Miami - the high flying Dolphins, They picked off Tua and did a pretty could job allowing 24 points vs a team that rocked the Chargers with big plays and has recently dropped a 70 spot. Jets game. Well - its the Jets. Now they get a Dallas offense who, like I have said in Mid Day Money - what is it? We haven't seen it yet. You didn't need it vs the Giants and Jets. You needed it in Arizona and it failed on a 4th down inside the 10, and then kicked a FG inside the 10, then threw a pick inside the 10 (they might have been within the 15, I don't remember) I do know the offense has not looked sharp. 4* Total Money UNDER Patriots/ Dallas

Going UNDER the total. Have loved these Saints unders all season. 9 straight games holding teams to less than 20 points. Line it up again. New Orleans does have a solid defense. Should be able to contain Baker and the Tampa offense. Saints with Winston behind center? Not that he was the reason they blew a 17-0 lead to lose 18-7 - but there is a reason Tampa let him go. Big arm, sure. 30 TDs yep, 30 INTs yep. You would think the Bucs would have him scouted pretty good here. Under Under Under. 4* Total Money UNDER Bucs/ Saints

Going UNDER the total. Nothing negative to be said about the Browns defense. At the top, or right near the top in all defensive stats. Steelers with a couple fluke defensive TDs and a 70 yard bomb. Heck. Give them one of those and this defense is giving up less than 10ppg. I wasn't sold on Baltimore coming into the season - and from what I have seen so far, I was right. 4* Total Money UNDER Ravens/ Browns

Taking the BROWNS. Well - you know we have the UNDER in this one and that is why we are also on the small home dog here. This defense is really good. Jim Schwartz doing a super job so far. The Chubb loss is bad, but the OL is good enough to carry a decent RB. Watson needs to just keep improving. I think people forget this cat was out basically a year and a half. You play in a monsoon, face the Steelers and Titans, who, last time I checked are defense first squads. I think they win the division. Burrow is a close to be doing for an extended period of time. Steelers to be are not there yet. Ravens look vulnerable. The offense is changing. The defense. Eh. I mean the bend don't break broke. You are lucky you are 2-1 not 1-2. You have a banged up OL coming to the Dawg Pound - even if their 2 starters are back, how effective will they be? 4* Money Maker CLEVELAND BROWNS

Going UNDER the total. Two teams I will look to keep fading offenses with. Burrow didn't look all that great on Monday night. Now, a short week. Still hobbled. Tennessee. What is there to say? You draft Willis - You draft Levis. You still trot out the old guy. Guess you get some AARP discount or something for this QB-RB-WR combo of veterans. Both teams had the same 27-24 games in Week 2. But the other 4 games. Slop fests. I love that the Titans are 1-9 their last 10, so of course that peeks my interest. But, first team to 20 wins. 4* Total Money UNDER Bengals/ Titans 

Taking the PACKERS. Again. Yes. You know GB & TB are basically the official Mid Day Money NFL Teams this year. Short week for these rivals. Huge comeback from 17-0 for a 18-17 win for the Pack. Injury holdouts flipped that line from GB faves to dogs. Maybe saving them for this bigger division matchup? As I have said before - I like Love, the coach, the defense - everything about GB. Lions beat basically a rookie QB in a road start. Now they face a team that had basically owned them, and now the Packers can play the old revenge card the way last season ended. 4* Money Maker GREEN BAY PACKERS
