06-30-25 Giants v. Diamondbacks +138 Top 2-4 Win 138 24 h 18 m Show

This is a play on the ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS as part of our MLB Monday Triple Play. Arizona is coming off getting swept at home against Miami to fall one game under .500 overall and at home. The Diamondbacks offense continues to shine as they are No. 6 in batting averaging while sitting No. 3 in on base percentage, slugging percentage and OPS. Ryne Nelson has been on a roll as his four-seamer is taking control as this was the case last year, when he had a 3.05 ERA in his final 14 appearances, and since he rejoined the rotation this season, he has a 2.62 ERA over his past seven appearances. He is back home where he has a 2.25 ERA compared to a 5.34 ERA on the road. The Giants are coming off a series loss at the White Sox after also getting swept at home against Miami. Logan Webb is having a career year as far as ERA as he has a 2.52 ERA in 17 starts to go along with a 1.14 WHIP. He is overpriced on the road where his ERA in 3.75 over eight starts while his home ERA sits at 1.52 in nine outings and the Giants have gone just 4-4 on those eight road games. 10* (956) Arizona Diamondbacks

06-30-25 Royals +145 v. Mariners Top 2-6 Loss -100 24 h 9 m Show

This is a play on the KANSAS CITY ROYALS as part of our MLB Monday Triple Play. We won with the Royals on Saturday as they faced Shohei Ohtani but knowing he would go no more than two innings and now they are catching another good number. They have struggled, having lost seven of eight to fall six games under .500. Bring in Michael Wacha who has been one of the most underrated pitchers in baseball over the last four years with his 3.29 ERA which is No. 7 among 34 starters that have tossed at least 500 innings. While his ERA on the road is a run higher than it is at home, it is still pretty solid at 3.98 while his 1.23 WHIP is right in line with his 1.21 WHIP at home. Seattle has lost three of five since a three-game winning streak and they are three games over .500 which puts them in the No. 3 Wild Card spot. This is a tough number to lay with George Kirby who is making just his eighth start of the season and he comes in with a 5.40 ERA as he struggled early and has not looked right. He struck out 14 at the Angels but has just 22 strikeouts in his other 6 outings. 10* (963) Kansas City Royals

06-30-25 A's +165 v. Rays Top 6-4 Win 165 22 h 5 m Show

This is a play on the ATHLETICS as part of our MLB Monday Triple Play. The Athletics have lost their first two series on this roadtrip against division leaders the Tigers and Yankees and catch a bit of a break although Tampa Bay has been a pleasant surprise. The offense is top 12 in batting average, slugging percentage and OPS and while six games under .500 on the road, they are catching a great number and have been better on the highway than in their minor league park at home. Jacob Lopez pitched seven scoreless innings in his last start against the Tigers on Wednesday and he is now 2-0 with a 0.82 ERA in his last four starts including three straight quality outings. Tampa Bay dropped two of three against Baltimore after sweeping the Royals in Kansas City and the Rays remain in second place in the American League East, a game and a half behind the Yankees. Drew Rasmussen is not on the same roll as Lopez but is still having a solid season with a 2.45 ERA and 0.96 WHIP but is pitching to a 3.50 xERA and 3.54 xFIP so we should expect to see some negative regression. 10* (959) Athletics

06-26-25 Dodgers v. Rockies +247 Top 3-1 Loss -100 5 h 17 m Show

This a play on the COLORADO ROCKIES as part of our MLB Thursday Double Play. Colorado is 8-31 at home following another loss last night, this one an 8-1 setback against the Dodgers, but this is a spot to back the Rockies. This is their 13th home series and they have gone 7-5 in the previous 12 series finales which makes complete sense because teams beat them up in the first two or three games and get lethargic while typically resting players. Of their home wins, seven have been in this situation and we are getting more value because they are the Dodgers and Clayton Kershaw is on the hill. He has been really good after allowing five runs in his opening start on May 17th. This is his first trip to Coord Field since 2023 and while this is a different Rockies team than what he had faced but he was much better in the earlier years and still has a 4.71 ERA in 13 starts at Coors Field and enters here in a tough overinflated spot. Austin Gomber got rolled by Arizona in his last start and while the Dodgers have the best offense in baseball, the value is here in the series finale. 10* (954) Colorado Rockies

06-26-25 Phillies +133 v. Astros Top 1-2 Loss -100 4 h 7 m Show

This a play on the PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES as part of our MLB Thursday Double Play. The Phillies have dropped the first two games of this series, both by not scoring a single run, and ruining two great performances from two of their top three starting pitchers. The third goes today and we are expecting the bats to get something behind Cristopher Sanchez. He allowed four runs against the Dodgers in his second start of the season and has allowed three runs or less in all 13 starts since then including two runs or less 11 times. The Astros have won three straight and six of their last eight games to increase their lead to 5.5 games in the American League West. Hunter Brown has quietly been the ace of the staff with his 1.88 ERA and 0.92 WHIP through 15 starts. His numbers are even better at home which is the main cog for this number and the situation is very similar to when we played against Houston on Tuesday which ended up a 1-0 game. Additionally, the Astros have won his last six starts, two of which went extra innings and another three decided by just one run. 10* (967) Philadelphia Phillies

06-25-25 Rays v. Royals +112 3-0 Loss -100 11 h 32 m Show

This is a play on the KANSAS CITY ROYALS as part of our MLB Wednesday Double Play. Tampa Bay came through with the series opening win last night and the Rays are now just one game out of first place in the American League East. It has been a surprisingly good season thus far and they send their ace Drew Rasmussen to the hill. He has a 2.61 ERA through 15 starts and he has really flourished with a home heavy schedule as he has a 2.16 ERA in 11 home outings. This is just his fifth road start and while his ERA of 3.86 in his four road games is still good, it is far from being dominant like he has been at home. The Royals have dropped three straight games and going back prior to last night, they have lost seven straight home games to fall to 19-20 at Kauffman Field. Bring in Michael Wacha who has been one of the most underrated pitchers in baseball over the last four years with his 3.29 ERA which is No. 7 among 34 starters that have tossed at least 500 innings. He is similar to Rasmussen being better at home as he has a 2.58 ERA here, a run and a half better than on the road. 10* (922) Kansas City Royals

06-25-25 A's +148 v. Tigers Top 3-0 Win 148 10 h 41 m Show

This is a play on the ATHLETICS as part of our MLB Wednesday Double Play. The Athletics dropped the series opener on Tuesday 11-4 to make it three straight losses as the downward spiral continues. This is a buy low team right now in certain spots and this is one of those with Jacob Lopez taking the hill. He started the season in the bullpen and after three appearances, got promoted to the rotation where he struggled in two of three starts before another bullpen appearance. By default, he got back into the rotation and has been a new pitcher with a 0.56 ERA over his last three starts while striking out 23. The Tigers opened June with a pair of wins but have gone just 10-9 since then yet still have a 9.5-game lead in the American League Central so there is no urgency so we can sell high. Jack Flaherty has come full circle starting last season here before a World Series ring and is back again but not pitching very good. He has a 4.83 ERA through 15 starts which is nearly two runs higher than his ERA in Detroit last season in 18 starts and while he is better here than on the road, the Tigers are 3-5 in five home outings. 10* (917) Athletics

06-24-25 Marlins +165 v. Giants Top 4-2 Win 165 12 h 23 m Show

This is a play on the MIAMI MARLINS as part of our MLB Tuesday Triple Play. Miami took two of three against Atlanta over the weekend and comes in as a big underdog in its first game out west. Cal Quantrill got off to a rough start this season with an 8.10 ERA through his first six starts but he has regrouped with a 3.93 ERA over his last eight starts with Miami going a respectable 4-4 in those games. He is being priced at his overall numbers and the recent run has decreased his xFIP to 4.51 which is actually lower than Justin Verlander. The Giants are 3-3 on their current homestand after taking two of three from the Red Sox. Obviously, the records of the teams plays into the number but so does the fact the pitcher is Verlander who continues to be overpriced. He did have a good run in late April and early May but went on the IL five weeks ago and has made one start since coming back and it was not good as he allowed three runs on seven hits in 4.2 innings. He comes in with a 4.56 xFIP and has a near identical K:BB% and WHIP as Quantrill. 10* (961) Miami Marlins

06-24-25 Red Sox v. Angels +152 Top 2-3 Win 152 12 h 6 m Show

This is a play on the LOS ANGELES ANGELS as part of our MLB Tuesday Triple Play. There is not much of a difference between these two teams, one game to be exact when looking at records but this line is based on the starting pitching numbers that are actually a lot closer when looking at home/road splits. The Angels took the opener last night 9-5 and they do doubt have a tougher test tonight but sending Tyler Anderson to the hill helps. He has a 4.56 ERA through 15 starts which includes a 6.26 ERA in eight road starts while coming off a pair against the Yankees and Orioles but he is back home where he has a 2.75 ERA in seven starts. He has allowed three runs in two of those and fewer than three in the other five outings. Garrett Crochet is having a career year although this is just his second as a full time starter. He has a 2.20 ERA in 16 starts with his home/road splits being very similar. The Red Sox have taken care of business in his road outings as they are 8-1 which is the big reason the number is inflated and we go contrarian to that. 10* (974) Los Angeles Angels

06-24-25 Phillies +137 v. Astros Top 0-1 Loss -100 11 h 36 m Show

This is a play on the PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES as part of our MLB Tuesday Triple Play. This is a game that looks to be closer to even than what the line actually is with a possible difference being the home and road records with those separated by five games. The Phillies took two of three against the Mets and now has a game and a half lead over New York in the National League East. Ranger Suarez did not get into the rotation until May and after allowing seven runs in his first start against Arizona, he has a 1.18 ERA over his last eight starts, all of which have been quality outings and six of those allowing one or no runs. He has a 0.98 ERA in four road starts. The Astros are also coming off a series win, taking two of three against the Angels and have a 4.5-game lead over Seattle in the American League West. Framber Valdez is having a great season as well which was expected as he has a 3.09 ERA which does include a 2.35 ERA in seven home starts and overall, Houston has won his last eight starts but none against an offense like this. 10* (979) Philadelphia Phillies

06-23-25 Nationals +152 v. Padres Top 10-6 Win 152 12 h 22 m Show

This is a play on the WASHINGTON NATIONALS as part of our MLB Monday Double Play. This is a play on the Washington dropped two of three against the Dodgers but came away in the black with a +242 winner. Surprisingly, Washington is 3-10 as a favorite this season but 28-32 when listed as the underdog which is a very solid record when in the plus moneylines. Mitchell Parker got off to a great start with a 1.39 ERA through his first five outings but then hit a four-game rough stretch where he allowed 19 runs but he has settled back down with only two bad outings over his last six games and still possesses a 1.32 WHIP. The Padres are No. 22 in wOBA against lefties while sitting No. 23 in batting average and No. 34 in slugging percentage. They are off a series win against the Royals and send Stephen Kolek to the hill who has made nine starts with seven of those coming on the road and he has been great in those with a 2.13 ERA and 1.20 WHIP. In his two home starts, he has a 9.58 ERA and 1.65 WHIP and the Washington offense can keep it going after scoring 19 against the Dodgers. 10* (907) Washington Nationals

06-23-25 Mariners v. Twins +114 Top 11-2 Loss -100 10 h 11 m Show

This is a play on the MINNESOTA TWINS as part of our MLB Monday Double Play. Minnesota has now lost nine of its last 10 games following a home sweep at the hands of the Brewers where the pitching was obliterated for 35 runs over the three games. The Twins are now three games under .500 and turn to Bailey Ober who has had issues of his own. He opened the season by allowing eight runs in 2.2 innings at St. Louis and then found his groove, allowing three runs or fewer in his next 11 outings including giving up just one run eight times. June has not gotten off to a good start however as he has an 8.31 ERA through his first three starts but we love the bounce back ability here against a Seattle offense that is No. 28 in batting average at .232. The Mariners took two of three against the Cubs to move a game over .500 on the road and they send Bryan Woo to the hill who is coming off another gem but that was at home. He has a 2.31 ERA in Seattle since the start of last season and his road ERA over that stretch is 3.57, still good but not close to as dominant. 10* (912) Minnesota Twins

06-22-25 Red Sox +145 v. Giants Top 5-9 Loss -100 8 h 39 m Show

This is a play on the BOSTON RED SOX as part of our MLB Sunday Double Play. After taking the series opener on Friday, Boston lost Game Two 3-2 with the two runs coming in the ninth inning and just falling short. The Red Sox have won eight of ten games and turn to Lucas Giolito whose first season in Boston has been interesting. He was not good at Fenway Park prior to coming over and this year has been no different with a 7.66 ERA and 1.97 WHIP in five starts, three of which allowing six runs or more. He has made four road starts and has posted a 1.93 ERA and 0.90 WHIP while giving up two runs in his last three. Robbie Ray is looking like the Robbie Ray of 2021 when he won the Cy Young with Toronto but he has looked off his last two outings and Boston has crushed lefties this season, sitting No. 3 in batting average and OPS while their 21 home runs are ninth most in the league. He has received no run support at home with the Giants scoring four runs or less in six of eight starts. 10* (977) Boston Red Sox

06-22-25 Diamondbacks v. Rockies +183 Top 2-4 Win 183 7 h 55 m Show

This is a play on the COLORADO ROCKIES as part of our MLB Sunday Double Play. We have to pick our spots with Colorado and this is one of those with the Rockies having lost three straight games which came after a rare five-game winning streak. There is not much positive to say about Antonio Senzatela other than the fact he is coming off a solid start last time out against Washington. He has had an inconsistent season obviously but he has only four bad starts, two on the road and two at home, the latter against Milwaukee and San Francisco with one of those coming all the way back in April. This is more of a play against Arizona and Brandon Pfaadt who is having a season reminiscent of his 2023 season with nearly identical bad numbers. He has been serviceable at home with a 4.08 ERA but in eight road outings, he has a 6.53 ERA while allowing 12 home runs. Despite 65 career starts with Arizona, he has never pitched at Coors Field and we see problems come Sunday. 10* (956) Colorado Rockies

06-21-25 Astros v. Angels +102 Top 1-9 Win 102 13 h 4 m Show

This is a play on the LOS ANGELES ANGELS for our Divisional Game of the Month. The Angels lost a tough one in extra innings following a roadtrip where they were swept in Baltimore and followed that up by taking three of four games against the Yankees. They bring in another solid starter tonight in Jose Soriano who opened the season with a 4.50 ERA through his first six starts but has been solid since. He did go to Fenway and got lit up by Boston but in his other eight starts since the start of May, he has a 2.33 ERA. Houston is now 3-2 on this current roadtrip and the Astros are still struggling away from home at 17-19 and while not as big as last night, still come in as the favorite. Brandon Walter will be making his fourth career start after three very strong outings since entering the rotation. He has a 1.53 ERA as he has allowed only three runs, two of which were home runs including a two-run shot, but this is likely unsustainable as now there is film and scouting reports. 10* (918) Los Angeles Angels

06-21-25 Royals +140 v. Padres 1-5 Loss -100 10 h 12 m Show

This is a play on the KANSAS CITY ROYALS as part of our MLB Saturday Double Play. The Royals have won four straight games following a 6-5 series opening win on Friday which has come after a six-game losing streak and they are now back to .500. Noah Cameron got off to an incredible start as he posted a 0.85 ERA and 0.79 WHIP through his first five starts before the Yankees came to town as they roughed him up for six runs over 5.2 innings. The rookie did not let that affect him however as he bounced back with five shutout innings against the Athletics and he is back on the road where he has a 0.47 ERA in three outings. The Padres have now lost seven of their last nine games and hand the ball to Dylan Cease who had a very good first season with San Diego in 2024 but has regressed this season with a 4.69 ERA through his first 15 outings. This is mostly due to a pair of bad games, both of which were on the road, and he comes in with a 3.00 ERA in seven home starts and is overpriced based on that. 10* (929) Kansas City Royals

06-21-25 Mariners +151 v. Cubs Top 7-10 Loss -100 6 h 30 m Show

This is a play on the SEATTLE MARINERS as part of our MLB Saturday Double Play. Seattle took the series opener on Friday 9-4 and has now won five of its last seven games as it looks to keep pace in the American League West, trailing the Astros by five games. Emerson Hancock has been serviceable with a 4.48 ERA and it has only been two bad outings that has hurt him as he allowed 13 runs in 5.2 innings against the Yankees and Tigers and take those out and that ERA comes down to 2.86 in his other 10 outings. Both of those were at home as well so he has the reverse splits with a road ERA of 3.31 over six road outings. The Cubs have lost two straight and will be a big public favorite behind Cade Horton who is off to a solid start in his rookie season as he has a 3.47 ERA through six starts and one relief appearance. He has a 2.70 ERA in three home starts but those were against the White Sox, Rockies and Pirates, the three teams with the three worst records in baseball. 10* (923) Seattle Mariners

06-20-25 Astros v. Angels +164 Top 3-2 Loss -100 13 h 55 m Show

This is a play on the LOS ANGELES ANGELS as part of our MLB Friday Double Play. The Angels are back home following a roadtrip where they were swept in Baltimore and followed that up by taking three of four games against the Yankees including a pair of shutouts. Yusei Kikuchi will open the series and they could not ask for a better opener as he has been awesome at home with a 1.05 ERA in six starts covering 34.1 innings. He has allowed only four earned runs, two of those via the long ball and his efficiency has led the Angels to go 4-2 in those six outings with one loss being a 1-0 decision against the Yankees. Houston is coming off a split against the Athletics so it did not improve its road mark as the Astros are still struggling away from home at 16-19 yet come in as a huge favorite. That is because of Hunter Brown who has been Cy Young material with a 1.88 ERA and 0.93 WHIP in 14 starts. His best work has been at home and his road ERA is nearly a run and a half higher and while a 2.42 ERA is still strong, Houston is 5-3 in his eight road outings including one extra inning win and a win against the White Sox. 10* (968) Los Angeles Angels

06-20-25 Brewers +135 v. Twins Top 17-6 Win 135 11 h 18 m Show

This is a play on the MILWAUKEE BREWERS as part of our MLB Friday Double Play. Jacob Misiorowski made his MLB debut last Thursday against the Cardinals, but his outing was cut short when he slipped on the mound which ended his night after five innings where he did not allow a hit while striking out five and walking four. He does have off the chart stuff as after reading a piece from Davy Andrews from FanGraphs, nearly every pitch Misiorowski throws looks like a fastball despite him throwing in sinkers, changeups, curves and sliders. Minnesota salvaged a game in Cincinnati on Thursday which snapped a six-game losing streak and got the Twins back to .500 and now back home, they come in heavy favorites based on their 20-12 record and Joe Ryan being on the hill. He is having a great season with a 2.93 ERA and 0.93 WHIP through 14 games with one of the better K:BB% in the league. He does not have a strong home/road split as his numbers are nearly identical which is what you want from a pitcher but not being more dominant at home should not cause this number to be so big against a quality opponent. 10* (975) Milwaukee Brewers

06-19-25 Padres +228 v. Dodgers Top 5-3 Win 228 13 h 44 m Show

This is a play on the SAN DIEGO PADRES for our Divisional Game of the Month. The Padres had their comeback last night thwarted as the Dodgers walked it off on a Will Smith home run to take a 3-0 series lead. San Diego looks to avoid the sweep tonight and they will not be popular seeing they could not get a win against three basic openers and now having to face the Dodgers ace but we love the value and contrarian aspect of it. Ryan Bergert has made three starts since entering the rotation following four perfect relief appearances and overall he has a 2.33 ERA and 0.98 WHIP. He is road tested with all but one inning coming at home as all three of his starts have been on the road and he has faced some potent offenses. Yoshinobu Yamamoto has put together a great season but his ERA at home is nearly two runs higher than it is on the road and the Padres have been a nemesis. In three starts last season, he posted a 5.54 ERA which included a 12.00 ERA in two regular season starts. The Dodgers are 1-2 in three home starts against winning teams and this is the most he has been favored by in all four. 10* (909) San Diego Padres

06-19-25 Cardinals v. White Sox +129 Top 5-4 Loss -100 5 h 27 m Show

This is a play on the CHICAGO WHITE SOX as part of our MLB Afternoon Double Play. Sean Burke had a three-game quality start streak snapped in his last outing as Houston got him for seven runs on eight hits in 3.2 innings. Now he is back home and in a good spot at a great number and opened the season with a pair of poor home starts against the Twins and Athletics but he has been money at Rate Field since then as he has posted a 1.57 ERA across 23 innings and Chicago has quietly gone 4-0 in those games. Erick Fedde posted a complete game shutout at Washington on May 9th and followed that up with 5.2 shutout innings at Philadelphia but the road has not been as good since then as he has a 4.41 ERA over his last three road starts covering just 16.1 innings. Overall, he has a 5.2% K:BB% which is No. 151 out of 155 starting pitchers that have gone at least 30 innings and while Burke is near that same percentage, the difference is the price and venue that is not taking those into account. 10* (924) Chicago White Sox

06-19-25 Twins +100 v. Reds Top 12-5 Win 100 4 h 6 m Show

This is a play on the MINNESOTA TWINS as part of our MLB Afternoon Double Play. Minnesota has lost six straight games to fall to one game under .500 and it now trails the Tigers by 10.5 games in the American League Central. The Twins look to end this dreadful roadtrip behind Chris Paddock who opened the season with an awful start, allowing nine runs in 3.1 innings against the White Sox and in his last outing, he allowed eight runs in four innings against the Astros. The 12 starts in-between were great however where he posted a 2.51 ERA covering 68 innings and this is a great bounce back spot. Nick Martinez has had a solid season with a 3.92 ERA and he has been great at home with a 2.52 ERA in six outings but the Reds are just 3-3 in those games and it has been based on runs support. He got 23 runs in the three wins but only seven runs in the three losses and with the majority of Paddock being good, Martinez should not get much behind him. 10* (919) Minnesota Twins

06-18-25 Padres +164 v. Dodgers Top 3-4 Loss -100 13 h 47 m Show

This is a play on the SAN DIEGO PADRES as part of our MLB Wednesday Triple Play. San Diego has dropped the first two games of this series and has lost five of six overall and turns to Stephen Kolek to give them a chance to somehow salvage a split in this series. This will be his first ever start against the Dodgers which is not a bad thing as an unfamiliarity can be an edge. He has struggled in his two home starts but in six road outings, he has a 1.75 ERA and 1.22 WHIP covering 36 innings where he has allowed only two home runs. Emmet Sheehan is making his first start since 2023 after undergoing Tommy John surgery and his return is huge for this depleted starting rotation. He is not expected to go long, 60 pitches max, so we will see a lot of the bullpen which is a tired unit having tossed 15 innings the last two games with three pitchers going both games so they will be unavailable including two of the best in Anthony Banda and closer Tanner Scott. 10* (959) San Diego Padres

06-18-25 Royals v. Rangers +109 Top 6-3 Loss -100 11 h 41 m Show

This is a play on the TEXAS RANGERS as part of our MLB Wednesday Triple Play. Texas had its four-game winning streak snapped with a 6-1 loss on Tuesday as well having halted a 7-1 run that got the Rangers back to .500. Patrick Corbin had a solid career in Arizona and then a great first season in Washington before the wheels started falling off. He has resurrected his career with the move to Texas, at least for a half of a season thus far, as he has a 3.66 ERA and 1.22 WHIP in 12 starts. He is back home after two road outings and has been great at home with a 3.00 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in five starts. Kris Bubic had his improbable run of six straight starts of allowing 1 or 0 runs come to an end as he allowed five runs in 4.1 innings against the Yankees. The matchup is better here but he should not be the road favorite in this spot despite sensational road numbers as his early run is not sustainable and that is evidenced by his 3.07 xERA. 10* (968) Texas Rangers

06-17-25 Mets +123 v. Braves Top 4-5 Loss -100 11 h 25 m Show

This is a play on the NEW YORK METS as part of our MLB Tuesday Double Play. After sweeping the Nationals, the Mets backed it up by getting swept at home against the Rays over the weekend and now head out into a tough divisional roadtrip. David Peterson is coming off his first ever complete game shutout to lower his ERA to 2.49 and he has allowed two runs or less in 11 of 13 starts. Since the start of last season, he has a 2.74 ERA, fifth best among all starters going at least 200 innings which trails three Cy Young winners and Zack Wheeler so to say he is underrated in an understatement. He has not fared well against the Braves in the past but this is not the same Braves we are accustomed to. Spencer Schwellenbach is having a great season as well albeit not as dominant and he is the reason the line is so big. He has a 3.31 ERA in 14 starts and the Braves are 6-2 in his eight home starts but losing to the two quality teams, the Padres and Dodgers. 10* (905) New York Mets

06-17-25 Cardinals v. White Sox +132 Top 12-2 Loss -100 11 h 48 m Show

This is a play on the CHICAGO WHITE SOX as part of our MLB Tuesday Double Play. The White Sox came up small for us on Sunday in a 2-1 loss but we are coming back with them here as they head home with a better winning percentage than the Cardinals road winning percentage. We are behind Shane Smith who has been the ace of the rotation as he has made 13 starts, allowing two runs or less in 10 of those while giving up three runs in the other three games. He has a 2.37 ERA and 1.17 WHIP including a 2.18 ERA and 1.06 WHIP at home, while allowing only four home runs and after opening 1-9, Chicago is 3-0 in his last three starts. The Cardinals are sliding fast and come in as a big favorite still as they turn to Matthew Liberatore who is regressing just like his team. He went through a stretch of eight straight starts of allowing two runs or less but since then he has a 10.29 ERA and 1.93 WHIP in three starts. 10* (928) Chicago White Sox

06-16-25 Phillies v. Marlins +116 Top 5-2 Loss -100 10 h 28 m Show

This is a play on the MIAMI MARLINS for our Divisional Game of the Month. Sandy Alcantara won the Cy Young in 2022 and now he has an ERA nearly five runs higher from that 2.28 ERA but recovery from Tommy John surgery is never a simple process and Alcantara is the classic example. He posted an 8.47 ERA through his first 11 starts but he has finally started to look like his old self with a pair of quality starts. While they were against the Pirates and Rockies, they may not be given much merit but the confidence aspect far outweighs any opponent. The Phillies are coming off a sweep over Toronto with their big three dominating the Blue Jays bats and now they turn to rookie Mick Abel. He has gotten off to a fine start with a 2.35 ERA in his first three starts but each one has regressed slightly the wrong way. He dominated Pittsburgh at home, allowing no runs with nine strikeouts but he has just five strikeouts in his last two games while allowing three home runs against the Cubs last time out. 10* (952) Miami Marlins

06-15-25 White Sox +170 v. Rangers Top 1-2 Loss -100 7 h 39 m Show

This is a play on the CHICAGO WHITE SOX as part of our MLB Sunday Double Play. Aaron Civale requested a trade from the Brewers after he was demoted to the bullpen in favor of rookie Jacob Misiorowski and he got his wish, being dealt to the White Sox. This is a smart move for Chicago that will showcase him as a starter and hope for success so they can unload him for more at the trade deadline than what they gave up for him. Civale made only five starts with the Brewers with a 4.91 ERA but a change of scenery can do him good and he faces one of the worst offenses in baseball. Tyler Mahle was given an extra day and likely would have gone today but his shoulder stiffness lingers and he is likely headed to the IL and it will be Kumar Rocker to take the mound. He has had a very rough season with an 8.87 ERA and 1.84 WHIP in six starts, five in April, and his return did not go well as he allowed five runs in 3.1 innings against Tampa Bay on June 4th. 10* (921) Chicago White Sox

06-15-25 Blue Jays +167 v. Phillies Top 4-11 Loss -100 5 h 28 m Show

This is a play on the TORONTO BLUE JAYS as part of our MLB Sunday Double Play. We had a tough loss with Toronto as a late home run was the difference and the Blue Jays are in a similar matchup while catching a bigger number despite Jose Berrios on the hill. He has a 3.38 ERA and 1.23 WHIP through 14 starts and has allowed more than two runs only twice in his last nine starts and one of the exceptions was giving up three runs. He gave up just one run against the Phillies two starts back, one of five straight current quality starts. Zack Wheeler is having another Cy Young caliber season as he has a 2.85 ERA and 0.90 WHIP in 13 starts with just one real bad outing, his last prior to taking 10 days away for paternity leave. His K:BB ratio is outstanding as usual but he has allowed 10 home runs already and is on pace for allowing the most of his career. The Phillies are 4-1 in his home starts but the wins were against the Rockies, Marlins, Nationals and Pirates. 10* (927) Toronto Blue Jays

06-14-25 Padres +133 v. Diamondbacks Top 7-8 Loss -100 11 h 8 m Show

This is a play on the SAN DIEGO PADRES as part of our MLB Saturday Triple Play. It has been a rough season for Zac Gallen by his standards as he has a 5.15 ERA through 14 starts after posting an ERA higher than 3.65 only once in his first seven seasons with Arizona. His issues have been at home where he has a 6.38 ERA in eight starts and this could be turning into a mental issue at home as well. Ryan Bergert has made a case to remain in the injury plagued Padres rotation. He currently has six appearances, with two starts, and has thrown 14.1 innings with a 1.26 ERA with eight strikeouts. He has allowed just two runs over 10.1 innings in his two starts since entering the rotation. 10* (959) San Diego Padres

06-14-25 Yankees v. Red Sox +154 Top 3-4 Win 154 11 h 59 m Show

This is a play on the BOSTON RED SOX as part of our MLB Saturday Triple Play. Hunter Dobbins has been serviceable with a 4.20 ERA in 10 games including eight starts and is pitching to a 4.09 xERA which is second of the five current rotation starters. He also has a solid 1.28 WHIP and he has been better at home with a 3.86 ERA in five starts and welcomes the Yankees after allowing just three runs last week, all by way of the long ball. Carlos Rodon has been great with a 2.87 ERA and he has actually been better on the road but he was roughed up by Boston last time out and is severely overpriced on the road in this spot, his second highest moneyline in six road starts. 10* (972) Boston Red Sox

06-14-25 Blue Jays +165 v. Phillies Top 2-3 Loss -100 8 h 49 m Show

This is a play on the TORONTO BLUE JAYS as part of our MLB Saturday Triple Play. We went against Toronto on the runline yesterday with our free play on our podcast but we are backing the Blue Jays and Bowden Francis in a good contrarian spot. Big things were expected after a strong 2024 but it has been anything but that with a 6.12 ERA in 13 starts. He has been much better on the road with a 4.40 compared to a 7.89 ERA at home. Cristopher Sanchez is having another great season with a 3.10 ERA and while solid at home, he is also better on the road where his ERA is a half run lower. We are going against him after shutting Toronto down a week ago as the offense has been potent despite the Friday shutout. 10* (977) Toronto Blue Jays

06-13-25 Angels +158 v. Orioles Top 0-2 Loss -100 12 h 3 m Show

This is a play on the LOS ANGELES ANGELS as part of our MLB Friday Triple Play. Baltimore has had a very disappointing season and it turns to Charlie Morton who is laying more than -170 in some places. No thank you. He has been better after a miserable start but his turnaround has mainly come from out of the bullpen where he was relegated to in late April. He has made three starts since re-entering the rotation and the first two were good and then he regressed against the Athletics in his third outing. Jack Kochanowicz has had a tough season with a 5.61 ERA in 13 starts which is hard to bet on but the Angels are 6-7 which is not horrible and he is getting a great number. 10* (913) Los Angeles Angels

06-13-25 Cardinals +135 v. Brewers Top 2-3 Loss -100 12 h 11 m Show

This is a play on the ST. LOUIS CARDINALS as part of our MLB Friday Triple Play. We played against St. Louis last night as it got handcuffed by rookie Jacob Misiorowski and now faces Freddy Peralta. He is currently in the midst of his best season with a 2.69 ERA and 1.16 WHIP through 14 starts and his numbers are even better at home which makes him the big favorite but he has yet to face the Cardinals this season, a team he has notoriously struggled with. Erick Fedde has quietly put together another solid season as he has a 3.54 ERA and 1.30 WHIP through 13 starts and he has actually been better on the road with a 2.88 ERA and 1.20 WHIP in seven starts. 10* (907) St. Louis Cardinals

06-13-25 A's +140 v. Royals Top 6-4 Win 140 12 h 57 m Show

This is a play on the ATHLETICS as part of our MLB Friday Triple Play. It has been a very rough stretch for the Athletics which actually got off to a very good start this season and they have become a fade in most spots and many will fade here with Luis Severino on the hill who has allowed 13 runs in his last two starts. Both of those were at home though and he clearly does not like pitching in a Minor League park in Sacramento with his 7.10 ERA in nine outings. Conversely, he has a 0.87 ERA in five road starts. Michael Wacha has a 3.01 ERA in 13 starts so he has been very good but he gets no run support as the royals have scored two runs or less in nine of those. 10* (919) Athletics

06-12-25 Cardinals v. Brewers +118 Top 0-6 Win 118 13 h 1 m Show

This is a play on the MILWAUKEE BREWERS for our Divisional Game of the Month. The Brewers have promoted Jacob Misiorowski, No. 4 on MLB Pipeline's list of Milwaukee's top prospects and No. 68 overall, to start Thursday's series opener against the Cardinals. The rookie is 6'7" and tops out his fastball at 103 mph and also throws a slider and an occasional curveball, and like so many young pitchers, he's been working hard this season on the changeup. He has posted a 3.04 ERA with 320 strikeouts in 233.2 Minor League innings and this season, he he was 4-2 with a 2.13 ERA while maintaining triple-digit velocity deep into outings at Triple-A Nashville. Sonny Gray has been fantastic and is favored for a reason. He has a 3.35 ERA in 13 starts but nine of those have been at home where his ERA is 2.85. In four road starts, his two worst came against the Phillies and Mets, no surprise, while his two best came at Texas and Pittsburgh, two of the four worst offenses in baseball in slugging percentage and wOBA. 10* (956) Milwaukee Brewers

06-05-25 Astros v. Pirates +153 Top 8-2 Loss -100 12 h 22 m Show

This is a play on the PITTSBURGH PIRATES for our I.L. Game of the Month. Houston is coming off a 3-0 loss last night and has scored three runs or less in six straight games where it is 3-3. Framber Valdez is having another great season with a 3.12 ERA and 1.06 WHIP in 12 outings but it does come with an asterisk. He has significant home/road splits as Valdez has a 2.20 ERA in six home starts where the Astros are 5-1 and a 4.14 ERA in six road starts where they are 3-3 so the value of the venue makes a difference. Pittsburgh is having a rough season but that win last night was a momentum builder and the Pirates have gone 4-3 in their last seven games. They have struggled on the road with a 9-22 record but are a much more respectable 14-17 at home and catching a solid number with Mitch Keller. He has a 3.73 ERA overall and the contrarian aspect is that the Pirates have lost eight of his last nine starts and that is a streak we love to fade so he is the take. 10* (922) Pittsburgh Pirates

06-05-25 Orioles +153 v. Mariners Top 4-3 Win 153 8 h 22 m Show

This is a play on the BALTIMORE ORIOLES as part of our MLB Afternoon Triple Play. Baltimore is coming off a 3-2 win on Wednesday and will be going for the series weep on Thursday which is going to make Seattle a very popular play today to avoid that. It has been a disaster for the Orioles which are still 12 games under .500 but we love the lineup and the value. Zach Eflin had allowed 12 runs in two starts over 10.1 innings but came back with his best outing of the season albeit against the White Sox but it was his fifth time in seven starts allowing three runs or less, posting a 2.40 ERA in those games. Seattle has lost seven of 10 and is a half-game behind Houston in the American League West. We are fading Bryan Woo which is a contrarian side because he has been great with a 2.82 ERA in 11 starts and he is even better at home which is going to make him popular at a large favorite price. 10* (913) Baltimore Orioles

06-05-25 Phillies v. Blue Jays +105 Top 1-9 Win 105 8 h 42 m Show

This is a play on the TORONTO BLUE JAYS as part of our MLB Afternoon Triple Play. Toronto had a five-game winning streak snapped with an 8-3 loss on Tuesday but bounced back on Wednesday with a 2-1 walk off win to carry some momentum into the series finale. Chris Bassitt has been hit or miss as he has allowed one run or less in six starts while allowing four or five runs in five other starts including giving up five runs in each of his last two starts so it is bounce back time. He has a 4.86 ERA in six road starts and a 2.73 ERA in six home starts. The Phillies have been struggling, losing five of six games and have fallen into second place in the National League East, a game and a half behind the Mets, as they just have not been hitting the ball. Jesus Luzardo started the season with 11 straight starts of allowing three runs or less before giving up 12 runs in his last outing and that could be a mental challenge. 10* (920) Toronto Blue Jays

06-05-25 Royals +117 v. Cardinals Top 5-6 Loss -100 6 h 20 m Show

This is a play on the KANSAS CITY ROYALS as part of our MLB Afternoon Triple Play. This is the first game of a Thursday doubleheader following a Wednesday postponement. Kansas City won the opener on Tuesday as it overcame a 7-2 deficit to win 10-7 and the royals have been all over the place since a 16-2 run that ended My 9. Noah Cameron was supposed to start yesterday and gets the Game One nod and his rookie season has gotten off to a great start with a 1.05 ERA and 0.82 WHIP in four starts, all quality outings. St. Louis has lost two straight and is 3-4 in its last seven games to fall 4.5 games behind the Cubs in the National League Central. Miles Mikolas is coming off his first poor start in a while as he allowed four runs in four innings against the Orioles after allowing three runs or less in eight straight outings. St. Louis has won his last six starts so get value there by going contrarian. 10* (925) Kansas City Royals (Gm 1)

06-04-25 Rangers +130 v. Rays Top 4-5 Loss -100 11 h 4 m Show

This is a play on the TEXAS RANGERS as part of our MLB Wednesday Triple Play. Tampa Bay took Game One following a 2-2 series split at Houston and the Rays are back to two games over .500 to move into a second place tie in the American League East. They are laying a big number for a second straight game as they turn to Shane Baz who has settled back down with a pair of decent starts following an awful stretch. His ERA is back down to 4.92 with a 1.38 WHIP which shows his struggles as does his 4.47 xERA which is better than his top line but below average. The Rangers have been all over the place as the offense continues to struggle as they have put up two runs or less in five of their last seven including getting shutout twice. Kumar Rocker is back after a stint on the IL and he looks to be healthy after a pair of rehab starts with an 8:1 K:BB across seven shutout innings. 10* (967) Texas Rangers

06-04-25 Guardians +175 v. Yankees Top 4-0 Win 175 11 h 34 m Show

This is a play on the CLEVELAND GUARDIANS as part of our MLB Wednesday Triple Play. The Guardians lost a tough one last night as they could not solve Carlos Rodon who won his seventh straight decision and they went down despite outhitting the Yankees 7-5. Luis L. Ortiz has posted a 4.40 ERA but this is due to a pair of bad starts where he allowed 12 runs in 10 innings and take those out and the ERA drops to 3.10. His 3.74 xFIP tells a better story and that is No. 49 out of 128 starters that have gone at least 40 innings. The Yankees have now won 11 of their last 14 games to take a 6.5-game lead in the American League East as they are now 15 games over .500 but at just +2.82 in profits showing how overpriced they remain. Clarke Schmidt has a 3.95 ERA through eight starts but he has a 4.21 xFIP which is No. 80 among those 128 starters to go along with a 12.3% K:BB%. 10* (965) Cleveland Guardians

06-04-25 Cubs v. Nationals +126 Top 0-2 Win 126 10 h 20 m Show

This is a play on the WASHINGTON NATIONALS as part of our MLB Wednesday Triple Play. Chicago took the series opener on Tuesday to make it three straight wins and victories in seven of its last eight. The pitching has led the way but the offense will be challenged tonight so they are hoping for another strong start from Matthew Boyd. He has a 3.08 ERA through 11 starts but a 1.26 WHIP which is still solid but does not correlate well with the ERA and he brings in a 19.1% K:BB%. Washington has dropped two straight following a four-game winning streak and it is catching nearly the same price tonight despite having a much closer pitching matchup. It can be argued Mackenzie Gore has been the better of the two despite complete opposite records as he brings in a 3.16 ERA and 1.20 WHIP to go along with a 28.7% K:BB% which is No. 2 among 80 qualified starters. 10* (956) Washington Nationals

This is a play on the SAN DIEGO PADRES as part of our MLB Monday Double Play. San Diego is coming off a 4-2 homestand following series wins over the Marlins and Pirates and while the competition level goes up, so does the price as the Padres are now huge underdogs. Stephen Kolek entered the rotation in May and put up a 4.11 ERA following a rough final outing against the Marlins to push his home ERA to 9.58 in two starts at PETCO Park but hits the road where his ERA is 1.33 in three starts while posting a 1.13 WHIP and allowing a .222 batting average. The Giants are back home following a long roadtrip where they went 4-5 in Washington, Detroit and Miami and the offense did nothing, scoring no more than four runs in any game while averaging only 2.0 rpg. Logan Webb has been the ace of the staff as he has posted a 2.82 ERA and 1.21 WHIP through 12 starts but is paying the price as usual for being the No. 1 arm in the rotation. The Giants have lost money in his games overall, going 6-6 with three losses of -151 or higher and he is laying in that range once again. 10* (955) San Diego Padres

06-02-25 Angels +136 v. Red Sox Top 7-6 Win 136 11 h 28 m Show

This is a play on the LOS ANGELES ANGELS as part of our MLB Monday Double Play. The Angels are coming off a series loss in Cleveland and have dropped seven of eight games but are catching a nice number here as they remain on the road where they are just one game under .500. Tyler Anderson has had a good season with a 3.39 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 11 starts with his two worst coming in two outings against the Dodgers and Athletics right prior to his last start against the Yankees. He has allowed three runs or less in nine of his 11 starts overall and his one issue has been with the long ball but we are not concerned with that in this spot. Boston took two of three against the Braves, we had them the wrong game in the sandwich, which snapped a five-game losing streak and the Red Sox are still three games under .500. Richard Fitts has been a very good addition to the rotation in his limited outings as he has a 2.70 ERA and 1.10 WHIP through his first four starts but he has not gone overly deep and the Red Sox are 0-4 in his four starts and is overpriced in this spot. 10* (959) Los Angeles Angels

05-29-25 Braves +108 v. Phillies Top 9-3 Win 108 10 h 21 m Show

This is a play on the ATLANTA BRAVES (GAME TWO) for our Divisional Game of the Month. We liked the Braves yesterday with AJ Smith-Shawver yesterday and now like them more in Game Two after the rainout and the pitching changes. It has been a rough start to the season for the Braves which are three games under .500 and sitting 9.5 games behind the Phillies in the National League East. The problem has been the road where they are 9-19 but have the pitching matchup they want here. Chris Sale is backing up his Cy Young season with a 3.36 ERA which is even that high because of a not great start but he has now allowed two runs or less in his last seven starts. The Phillies took the opener 2-0 behind Ranger Suarez and have now won 10 of their last 11 games to overtake the Mets in the division. Zach Wheeler has been on a roll as he has not allowed a run in his last three outings and this is the sell high spot. 10* (951) Atlanta Braves (Game Two)

05-23-25 Marlins +136 v. Angels Top 4-7 Loss -100 12 h 22 m Show

This is a play on the MIAMI MARLINS as part of our MLB Friday Double Play. Los Angeles should not be favored by this number over anyone not named the White Sox or Rockies. The Angels have won seven straight games and the markets are adjusting because of it so it is time to fade in a sell high spot. They have gotten to a game under .500 and send Yusei Kikuchi to the mound who has been solid, allowing two runs or less in four straight games and is now favored for just the third time this season and the most with the biggest prior number being against the White Sox. Miami has won four of their last seven games so they are on a decent run. Sandy Alcantara has not been the Cy Young pitcher after his injury but he still has it at times and the opposite of the Angels, he is in a buy low spot with incredible value. 10* (977) Miami Marlins

05-23-25 Diamondbacks v. Cardinals +116 Top 3-4 Win 116 11 h 8 m Show

This is a play on the ST. LOUIS CARDINALS as part of our MLB Friday Double Play. Arizona is coming off a huge series with the Dodgers where it ended up losing two of three and remains on the road where it is now 13-11. The Diamondbacks are now five games behind the dodgers in the National League West and come in as the favorites with Zac Gallen on the hill. He is coming off three straight games at home, the last two being bad outings against the Dodgers and Rockies where he allowed 10 runs over 10.2 innings. The Cardinals are also coming off a series loss, dropping two of three against Detroit and have fallen three games behind the Cubs in the National League Central. They remain home where they are 16-8 and turn to Miles Mikolas who has been on a role, allowing three runs or less in seven straight starts including one run or no runs on three occasions. 10* (962) St. Louis Cardinals

05-22-25 Mariners v. Astros +126 Top 2-9 Win 126 13 h 32 m Show

This is a play on the HOUSTON ASTROS for our Divisional Game of the Month. The Astros are back home following a series loss at Tampa Bay to conclude a 3-4 roadtrip to fall to 10-15 on the road. They return home one game over .500 overall and 15-9 in Houston and come in as the home underdog. It was an unfortunate situation for Lance McCullers, Jr. his last time here who was making his second start, and first home start, since 2022 and it did not go well as he got only one out while allowing seven runs on three hits and three walks. He bounced back with a decent effort against Texas where he did not allow an earned run over four innings and now it is redemption time back home. The Mariners are coming off a series win at Chicago against the White Sox to improve to 5-1 on this current roadtrip. They have increased their lead in the American League West to 3.5 games and welcome back George Kirby who is making his season debut. He is coming off another great season where he posted a 3.53 ERA over 33 starts but this is not the spot to back him as he will be limited and not stretched out to make sure he stays healthy. 10* (916) Houston Astros

05-17-25 A's +122 v. Giants Top 0-1 Loss -100 13 h 33 m Show

This is a play on the ATHLETICS as part of our MLB Saturday Double Play. After suffering a series loss against Arizona, the Giants took the opener of this series on Friday with a 9-1 win to get back to seven games over .500. It has not been a good run for San Francisco which has lost five of its last seven games with both sides struggling. It has been a good start overall with the Giants sitting just three games behind the Dodgers in the National League West but they come in overpriced in this spot with Landen Roupp who comes in with a 4.73 ERA and 1.50 WHIP. He has one great start at the Angels where he went seven innings in a quality outing but has failed to make it past four innings in his last four starts. The Athletics have lost three straight games, getting outscored 37-6 in the process and now we have a buy low spot as they try to get back to .500. The pitching has been dreadful over the last two weeks including the arm of Luis Severino who allowed eight runs in four innings in his last start but it was against the Yankees. He had allowed three runs or less in four straight starts to close April so the form is there and while his overall ERA is 4.70, he is pitching to a 3.78 xERA. 10* (977) Athletics

05-17-25 Nationals +144 v. Orioles Top 10-6 Win 144 8 h 44 m Show

This is a play on the WASHINGTON NATIONALS as part of our MLB Saturday Double Play. Washington took the opener of this series with a 4-3 victory on Friday thanks to a pair of runs in the eighth and ninth innings to get their ninth road win of the season. The Nationals are now getting a bigger price in what is not a bigger pitching disadvantage. Jake Irvin got off to a slow start through his first three outings but has been solid since, allowing three runs or less in five of his last six starts including two runs or fewer four times. His one bad outing came at Philadelphia where he allowed six runs and now faces another offense that has underachieved. The Orioles disappointing season rolls on as they have lost four straight and are now 13 games under .500, possessing the fourth worst record in baseball. Kyle Gibson is making his fourth start of the season in what is part of a desperate and struggling rotation. He has a 13.11 ERA and 2.49 WHIP through his first three games and while most of the damage was done against the Yankees, his other two starts have not been good and against offenses ranked lower than what he will be seeing today. 10* (963) Washington Nationals

05-16-25 Astros +161 v. Rangers Top 6-3 Win 161 12 h 19 m Show

This is a play on the HOUSTON ASTROS as part of our MLB Friday Double Play. The opener of this series was advertised as a great pitching matchup and it did not disappoint with Texas and Jacob deGrom outdueling Houston and Hunter Brown in a 1-0 victory. The Rangers have won six straight games to get to three games over .500 despite an offense that remains ineffective, sitting No. 23 or worse in all four major hitting categories. Houston is back to a game over .500 and while it is 7-12 on the road, this is a take spot. It was an unfortunate situation for Lance McCullers, Jr. who was making his second start, and first home start, since 2022 and it did not go well as he got only one out while allowing seven runs on three hits and three walks and because it was a meaningless game in May, he received death threats. This is a great bounce back spot where everyone will be rallying behind him and he faces that disappointing offense so it is the ideal buy low situation. Nathan Eovaldi has been sensational with a 1.78 ERA and 0.75 WHIP through nine starts, allowing more than two runs only once. While it may be tough to go against, we are playing the number as he has not been favored by this much all season so why we buy low with McCullers, we sell high with Eovaldi. 10* (907) Houston Astros

05-16-25 Guardians v. Reds +117 Top 4-5 Win 117 9 h 16 m Show

This is a play on the CINCINNATI REDS as part of our MLB Friday Double Play. Cleveland is coming off a 3-3 homestand, losing its series against the Phillies to open before taking two of three against the Brewers. The Guardians are quietly seven games over .500 but still train the Tigers by 3.5 games in the American League Central. It is a weekend of numerous interleague rivalry matchups including this one, the Ohio Cup and the Guardians come in as a road favorite despite some disadvantages all over the place. Tanner Bibee is laying the number as he has allowed two runs or less in four straight outings but three of those were at home where he has a 1.46 ERA and 1.01 WHIP in four starts and it has been a different story on the road where he has a 6.46 ERA and 1.48 WHIP in four outings. The Reds are coming off a disappointing series against the White Sox as they dropped two of three and they are now three games under .500 for the season but are still in reach, 4.5 games behind the Cubs in the National League Central. Brady Singer got off to a solid start this season but he was lit up for seven runs in 2.1 innings against the Astros on the road. That pushed his ERA to 4.97 but is still pitching to a 4.05 xERA and he has similar home/road splits with a home ERA 4.5 runs less than on the road. 10* (912) Cincinnati Reds

05-15-25 A's +180 v. Dodgers Top 2-19 Loss -100 14 h 18 m Show

This is a play on the ATHLETICS for our MLB Thursday Sweet Spot. After an 11-1 loss on Wednesday to open this series, the Dodgers took Game Two last night 9-3 behind ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto while the bats hit four home runs, coming back from a 3-2 early deficit. We are fading them tonight in another overpriced spot as they are going with Matt Sauer in a designated bullpen game. This is the first start of the season for Sauer who has made four appearances, two of which were four and five innings so he can go for a few innings. This is the fourth bullpen game of the season with Los Angeles going 2-1, both wins coming against 16-26 Mami. The Athletics have been unexpectedly solid so far this season as they are now 22-21 and are just a game and a half behind Seattle in the American League West. While the Dodgers offense is No. 2 across the board in all four major hitting categories, the Athletics are No. 5 in batting average, No. 6 in slugging percentage and No. 9 in OPS. The key will be Osvaldo Bido who has not been horrible despite his 4.75 ERA. He has one bad start against Texas where he allowed eight runs and take that away, his ERA drops to 3.47 in his other seven outings. 10* (961) Athletics

05-14-25 Royals +125 v. Astros Top 3-4 Loss -100 11 h 14 m Show

This is a play on the KANSAS CITY ROYALS for our MLB Wednesday Sweet Spot. Houston is coming off a 2-1 win on Tuesday with a bottom of the ninth walk off home run to make it four wins in six games and get the Astros back over .500. They were a slight favorite last night with their ace Framber Valdez on the hill and now are favored at a bigger number tonight despite the pitching situation. Colton Gordon is making his Major League debut after posting a 2.55 ERA in eight starts at Sugar Land which is certainly good but he is just an eighth round selection and ranked No. 20 in the Astros prospect line. He does have solid command while his fastball tops out at 91 mph so if he is not finding the edges of the zone, he could have issues. The Royals have lost three of their last four games after a 16-2 run with the three losses coming with just one run scored in each. Michael Lorenzen got roughed up by Baltimore two starts back but rebounded with seven shutout innings against Boston. He has allowed three runs or less in six of eight starts and the Royals have won his last four outings. 10* (919) Kansas City Royals

05-14-25 Brewers +130 v. Guardians Top 9-5 Win 130 6 h 41 m Show

This is a play on the MILWAUKEE BREWERS for our MLB Afternoon Dominator. Milwaukee was shut out for a second straight day as it went down 2-0, managing only three hits and ruining a strong effort from Quinn Priester. The Brewers are now three games under .500 overall and 8-16 on the road which puts them in another play on spot with great value. Logan Henderson will be making his second start after a stellar Major League debut back in April as he allowed just one run on a solo home run to Seth Brown, which is still the only one that he has hit this season. He struck out nine while walking just one and is back in the rotation after being recalled and will be trying to make his case to stay full time. Cleveland has won two straight without allowing a run after losing two straight games where it scored only one run total and we are fading the starter coming off his own shutout performance. Gavin Williams went five innings, allowing only four hits against the Phillies yet it took him 98 pitches to get through five innings and there is no chance he can be taken coming off that because of negative upcoming regression. He has a 1.73 WHIP and is pitching to a 5.22 xERA and catches Milwaukee at the wrong time. 10* (921) Milwaukee Brewers
