We are looking to close out the year a Winner here in the Super Bowl - So we go UNDER. I think we have a pair of banged up QBs. But again, everyone banged up this time of year. We do have a great Philly defense. And a solid KC one that I think people overlook. I think we see the Eagles do what they do best - run the ball. That will turn the clock. Mahomes will Mahomes. He throws a lot, but completions keep the clock moving. Both teams have been on Under runs. And that is what a great teams do. Play defense. Keep points off the board. Why would it play out different here? It won't. Taking the BENGALS. Looking to make it 4 straight wins over KC. Now. I do not like the flip of the line. Though it can be warranted if Mahomes is out or extremely limited. I have said since December that Cincy was my take for best team in the AFC and would be heading back to the Super Bowl. This team is just as good, or better than last years bunch. And this one has that experience from that run. They are not scared to play here. They have won here twice including the Championship Game last year. And lets be honest. Why isn't this at a neutral? Cincy with a chip the size of the State of Ohio on their shoulder they way that whole nonsense went down. 4* Money Maker CINCINNATT BENGALS 

Taking the EAGLES. I have been high on SF for most of the season. But this is just a bad spot. Philly basically in off a scrimmage against the Giants. Niners off a slug-fest vs the Cowboys. Purdy will again face a top defense here. And you can't expect his defense to bring that effort here on the road in back to back weeks. Eagles defense will be just as good, or better than Dallas. Taking the COWBOYS. Cashed with these guys last week, back at it again. I don't want to hear, short week. I don't want to hear, extra rest. Dak looked great. I was expecting a good game, we got a great game. Defense not surprising. This is a strong unit over the year. SF has been fantastic. I have said way back on Mid Day Money, SF to the Super Bowl. But this spot looks a little tricky. Purdy has been great. He has awesome guys around him making him look good and a defense that is really second to none. But I think Quinn can dial up something for the rookie. I am not in love with either HC. I have seen McCarthy butcher games. And the other guy. Let's go back to the play calling in a Super Bowl that was 28-3. How about blowing a 10pt 4th quarter lead in another Super Bowl vs KC. Or last year in blowing a 17-7 lead vs Rams. Taking the BENGALS. Both teams struggled last week. I give both a little pass. This is the game that should be at neutral field. So we get our MNF game, but it's Sunday Divisional Round and in Buffalo. Not really what Cincy wanted. Look. This to me - I am fading Allen. Oh he had 350 yards vs Miami. Dude! the guy tossed 2 INTs fumbled away another. Yeah. He will turn into Pad STATSford (Matt Stafford!) churning up numbers! Count 'em 5 - 5 INTs the last 3 weeks vs Miami and Chicago. Guy was right behind Dak and Davis Mills 15 INTs with his 14. Guess who is #3 in Fumbles this year - Allen 13, 5 lost (2nd to Trevor Lawrence's 9) As much as I liked the Bills this year, and was ready for them to head to the Super Bowl. Taking KC here. Will grab Reid off his bye week - 29-7 SU 23-13 ATS. Yes, Pederson was on Andy's staff back in the day. But these teams are not the same. Mahomes vs Trevor. 4 INT last week Trevor vs Mahomes 8-3 in the Playoffs (2 losses to Brady, 1 SB the other LY to Burrow) Trevor is neither or is he team close to those teams. How about Andy Reid with 19 Playoff wins and 15 by Double Digits! Jags pulled off a miracle win down 27-0 and with 5 TOs last week. But this is a Super Bowl Champion. They won't pull a Charger. Taking the COWBOYS. Oh how many people will be getting destroyed here on Monday night. Oh the Cowboys couldn't beat Sam Howell. Dak is an interception machine. Most INTs and he missed 5 games. INT prop bets yippie. Tom Brady is the GOAT. Look. Tampa offense has looked terrible all year. I am not sold on a couple drives to pull out a miracle win vs the Panthers - with a backup QB, RB, HC, WR + team! Then to score vs the Falcons. Dallas is still a very talented team. This is a case where Dallas might not have the worse HC on the sideline either. I think this will start as a dog fight, but the Cowboys get a few big plays to break it open. Line will probably drop by game time as I can't see people running to back Dallas laying points on the road to Brady. 4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

Taking the BENGALS. Here is my Super Bowl favorite. Round 3 vs their division rival Ravens. Doubt we see Lamar. As I have said on Mid Day Money - why would Lamar even suit up? This team is not winning this year. KC, Bills, Chargers and Cincy all better. He should get healthy and get a nice contract. Why come in, be ineffective and possibly get hurt. Bengals on a mission. I think they drop 30+ tonight. Last year they put 41 spots on Baltimore in both games. I think they played down in Sunday's game because they knew they have them on deck here. That game wasn't even that 27-16 final. This game was over in the 2nd quarter at 17-0 when Baltimore punched one in to make 17-7. A fumble and 24-7. Bengals thinking about dinner. Taking the BILLS. Buffalo is riding high after their teammate seems to be out of harms way after that brutal injury on MNF. We had the Bills to take care of NE and they did. Wasn't easy. Come on Josh.. Getting a little sloppy with those Red Zone INTs this season. That stuff will come back to bight you in the butt during the playoffs. Good news is that you get to you don't have to face Tua here. No way that guy is coming back. Again - I am still shocked he came back after that Cincy shot. That is a topic for another day. Teddy Bridgewater is a nice covering QB at times. But I can't trust this offense right now. Their Jets game set back offenses 32 years. Bills have put up 30+ in 3 straight games. Do we think the Dolphins get to 20? I sure as heck don't. Bills should cruise and pull away in this one. 4* Money Maker BUFFALO BILLS 

Taking the NINERS. I have said on Mid Day Money since Jimmy G took over that this is a Super Bowl team. I said that even after he went down that this team is still built to win. 3rd string QB. Not even missing a beat. Putting up over 30ppg with this kid playing. This is pretty simple here. San Fran had trouble with Seattle in the past. That was more Russell Wilson. Because the two games this year, well SF 21-13 in Seattle and 27-7 at home. Maybe it isn't all Purdy. CMC helps out. Kittle still gets it done. Deebo is good. Defense is awesome. The Seahawks 9-8, have limped, to put in kindly the last 2 months. 3-8. Barely escaping the Rams twice. Eeking into the playoffs. Now - you can say, they are dangerous. Undervalued. Blah Blah Blah. Not having it. San Fran, with the exception of the Bengals, are playing the best football in the league right now. This should be a 2 TD+ win for the Niners. 5* Best Bet SAN FRANCISCO 49ers

Taking GREEN BAY. Aaron Rodgers at home with a shot at going to the playoffs on the line. And the league having the Lions, Seattle or the Packers make it. Didn't we see Brady oust Carolina. Will this be any different. Money Money Money Ratings. Lions domers outside with Goff. I might lean Detroit if this was 10. Goff on the road 6 TDs 4 INTs. Detroit scoring home 30+ road 21. Let's also add the defense doesn't help the cause that much for the Lions. 4* Money Maker GREEN BAY PACKERS

Taking the EAGLES. Well. In the words of Ron Burgundy. That escalated quickly - to the tune of -14. Wow. Giants will probably be sitting a bunch of guys with the Viking game up next week. Philly wants HF. Well they need to just win. Giants win last week locked up their first playoff spot since 2016. I cannot see any worthwhile NYG in this game. I am actually thinking Minshew plays here. And with the Philly weapons, this should be 30-13 type of game. 4* Money Maker PHILADELPHIA EAGLES 

Taking SEATTLE. Right off the bat let me say this.. I think Stafford retires and Baker takes over this team next year. Now. I don't think they have the team to win here or even cover. Line is almost a TD now. Still think Seattle gets it done. Huge year for this group. Kudos and a tip of the hat to Geno and the boys for making the fans forget about that other guy. Seahawks need a win and some help to make the playoffs. Just take care of what you can take care off. Taking care of a team that won the Super Bowl last year and are now the worse team ever after a win. Well, it is there for the taking. 4* Money Maker SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Taking SAN FRAN. Not wild about laying 14. I mean, I know they can get the 1 seed, but they need Philly to lose. A 4pt move? Ugh. I still think San Fran wins this one going away though. This Arizona a total mess. 4 different QBs. I think the coach is on the hot seat. Forget that. Guy should be fired. Purdy should play the entire game. I don't think you take him out with his limited starts. So you need to at least rotate some regulars in here. Kid still needs to get reps in game play. Niners defense should be able to contribute at least 10 points to the cause today with a couple turnovers. 4* Money Maker SF FORTY NINERS

Taking MIAMI. What a collapse. And yeah, tough to back a team with a backup QB and in a tail spin. But hello New York Jets. This team is absolutely done for the year. Locker room is lost. They talk about their QB. The talk about a lost shot at the playoffs. They talk about a lost season. Are they focused in South Beach? Doubt it. Give me the 'Phins to make the fans happy in their final home game. Both teams with 5 straight losses, yet a win for Miami and a Patriots loss, and we have playoff football baby. And on a side note. I think the Bills win in a blowout for their injured teammate. 4* Money Maker MIAMI DOLPHINS

Taking the FALCONS. Made this bet thinking we get no Tampa starters. Line went to 8, settling around 3-4. I think we might get a half of Tampa regulars. I just can't see them playing since they were banged up all year. You're going to play them in an absolutely meaningless finale? You have probably Dallas next week. Falcons playing for pride and to see if this rookie QB is going to develop. Kid hasn't thrown a TD pass yet and they are now laying points. Crazy. But when something looks easy, like taking a HOF Multi-Super Bowl Winning MVP QB who's coach says is playing, I dunno, give me the Dirty Birds! 4* Money Maker ATLANTA FALCONS

Taking the BILLS. Was on this before the MNF game. Crazy. Can't even get into that. Talked about it on Mid Day Money. But a crazy, crazy situation all around. This one though. The ol' win one for the gipper. And let's be honest. Allen owns the Patriots lately. Nothing better than sending them home for the year by wiping the field with them in an emotional blow out. 4* Money Maker BUFFALO BILLS

Taking the BEARS. Here I like what I hear from the team after getting smoked vs the Lions. Then their QB is done for the year. And the line is 7+. This is still the Vikings though. Are we trusting them to win by about 10 here which they will need to be up by to cover more than a TD. A team that has a rematch vs the Giants on deck in a playoff game. We are getting all their guys here/ Doubtful. Look Bears are bad. Real bad. This is me not trusting Minny laying any kind of points. And me thinking Chicago has some heart for their fans who show up here and some pride in themselves after a bad season. 4* Money Maker CHICAGO BEARS

Taking CINCINNATI. What is there to say? We have talked about this all week. What I do know. Cincy is upset they are getting the worse out of this thing. I look for a big win. Ravens down to, at least it appears, their 3rd string QB. Even if it isn't, the other guy isn't close to 100%. And Lamar. Well see you in Free Agency. Burrow and friends should have this thing sealed up by the half. Baltimore with more than 17 points just once in their last 7 games. Can't see them slowing down Cincy here. 4* Money Maker CINCINNATI BENGALS

Taking the JAGS. Not normally wanting to lay with these guys, but will do it here. Titans to me are done. I mean. They fired their GM when they were 7-3 because they thought the team was bad. It hasn't won since! 6 straight losses. A team littered with injury concerns. I like the coach. Yeah, sure, Henry is a beat. They are trotting out a practice squad player from another team here. Jags at least looking the part of a playoff team with 4 straight wins and a QB who has responded with a 14-2 TD/INT ratio with something to play for. I am a firm believer of a team not just 'flicking the switch' and playing good. And a team that has dropped 6 in a row and scored more than 16 points once in their last 6 games - yeah. I feel good laying with the home team here. 4* Money Maker JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Taking UTAH. I like this Utah team. I like their coach - 11-4 in Bowls. Lost a tough one LY here to Ohio State. Like their QB - he will look to get the Rose Bowl W after getting hurt late vs the Buckeyes LY. Like the defense a bit more than Penn State's especially since Joey Porter Jr opted out. PSU had a great year. Lose to just Michigan and Ohio State, a pair of playoff losers, well, that isn't a bad season. This spot just screams Utes. 4* Money Maker UTAH UTES

Taking TULANE. Line has gone from basically a PK to a +2 for the Green Wave here. Probably based on their QB being healthy to play. And that is really the handicap here. If he is 100%, well this line is still probably a little short for the Trojans. Honestly though, even with him a go, I still like us to win this thing. 11-2 ATS/SU is a nice season. What better way to end things then coming out in 2023 and  beating a PAC 12 team that while also 11-2, is a team that maybe feels it let a playoff spot slip away losing their Championship Game. Live dog here in  my eyes - Last year, Tulane played a Lincoln Riley led Oklahoma team as 31 point dogs and lost by 5. This is better Tulane team and a USC team that for my money, is not all that excited to be playing in the Cotton Bowl when they think they should have been playing last night in the Peach. 4* Money Maker TULANE

Taking the RAMS. I am not saying the Rams are back after scoring 50 last week! Does that even count vs Denver. That is more of a 29 vs the rest of the NFL. Broncos finally fired their HC. See Ya -- Look. I said on Look Ahead Lines and Mid Day Money I thought Colts would sneak up on the Chargers so we were grabbing the points thinking the line drops. A 51 spot and lack luster 20-3 win on MNF drops the line a bit. I am still not sold on LAC. I don't like the coach. And yeah. Loads of talent on offense. Defense has some stud pieces. Even now at 6.5 - how many people are saying.. are you kidding me. Chargers can't win by a touchdown. Chargers have won 2 games all season by more than 6 points! Baker has a HC who is getting the best from him. Is this even a road game for the Rams? Won't be shocked if Rams win outright here. 4* Money Maker LA RAMS

Taking the NINERS. Another week of game under his belt. Purdy looking pretty good. Niners defense a monster. But really. For me - coaching. This is huge mismatch. Line should be 10 with this Vegas crew. What a disaster of a season. Denver is right up there. But these guys. A close second. I can't even put the Rams there because they lost their QB and WR. Shocked the Raider can even show up since they play with zero heart. 5 blown leads. This was a playoff team last year who canned a coach the players liked. Taking CAROLINA. How the heck is Tampa favored by a TD over anyone? We said on Mid Day Money on Christmas, take that TD with Arizona. Home, away. It doesn't matter. Why are people thinking last years team is showing up? It hasn't. This is the 2nd to last game of the regular season. Today. Today they turn it on. Sure Jan. Vs a Panthers team that is playing all out for their guy Wilks. Give me the points. Give me some ML on Carolina. We are on the Under 41.5/42. 4* Money Maker CAROLINA PANTHERS

Taking the PATRIOTS. Could have gotten a better number earlier but still some plus money here on New England. Miami. What a fall. Faded them vs the Bills and they showed life. Thought, ok, home, 3 straight losses. A GB team that I don't like at all. Good spot to win and get back on track. Yikes. Tua is done. Though I do like Bridgewater. Guy is a gamer. And he covers. But I think the air is sucked out of the room for the Dolphins. Miami now 0-4 SU 1-3 ATS. 2-5 ATS on the road giving up 31ppg. Again. In the cold. No thanks. Now NE. Holy Moly. Another brutal finish. Taking GEORGIA + the OVER here. I think the Bulldogs win this one 44-27. Ohio State has trouble stopping a good offense. We saw that their last 2 times playing Michigan. We saw that vs Utah in last years bowl game. We will see it here vs Georgia. Georgia D isn't last years defense. That was a record setting defense. This is still a good bunch. I also think we have a huge coaching edge. The OL is fantastic. No sacks allowed since October. Run game is 3 headed monster. A veteran QB who won't make mistakes. I thought coming into the season these were the 2 best teams. That being said, Georgia by double digits here. 4* Money Maker GEORGIA BULLDOGS

Taking MICHIGAN. Look. Who doesn't love TCU. What a year. And I am all for the dogs. This team, man. They just find a way to win games. They couldn't punch it vs KST, but still, this is a talented group. For me though - the defense. A lot of crooked numbers on the board allowed by TCU. I think the Wolverines can put up a 40+ spot here. Just running, running and then bust out some passing! Don't sleep on this Michigan pass attack. It wasn't called upon when you basically had a Heisman guy running amuck on the field. TCU will hang, but in the end, I feel Michigan locks up a double digit win this afternoon. 4* Money Maker MICHIGAN WOLVERINES

Taking KANSAS STATE. So KST gets the call. I know Bama QB is playing. We will see what the Tide is made of. Do they sulk being in a lesser bowl thinking they should be in the Playoffs. How motivated is this bunch. I can't believe they talked Bryce into playing. Wow. You know what I do know though - I know the Big 12 Champions are pumped to be here. Facing this team. Come on. I like our HC. I think he will add some trickery to the game. This would be a huge win for his program. We got a great RB. A pair of solid QBs to throw some quirks into things. And back to Alabama. Taking SOUTH CAROLINA. What a run to the end the year. Rattler that old Sooner Heisman guy. He's playing - Good for him playing for the coach. Both teams with opt outs on offense that will hurt them. Irish most notably losing their QB and TE. But SC is down playmakers also. Just think getting points, we have a guy with a chip on his shoulder with something to prove. And when bowling, that is sometimes all you need. 4* Money Maker SOUTH CAROLINA

Taking UCLA. No portal, we would be looking at a Pitt outright winner here. But - when you lose your QB, RB, 6 defensive starters, well, might be time to hook up a fade train. UCLA first bowl since 2017. Chip Kelly needs a big double digit winner here. DRT was a Heisman QB at times this year. He should put up some nice numbers in this one. Taking WASHINGTON. Not a chance I take Texas. And let me tell you - you look at this matchup. Washington better record. 'ranked' higher. Better ranking in Playoffs. But yet. Washington the dog. This line has dropped down to a 3.5. But, if you watch the Mid Day Money, you knew 3 weeks ago we would be taking the Pennix show. This kid has a lot of to prove, as Washington as a whole also. They get to face 'Texas' Oh Big name Texas. Soon to be SEC. Puh-leaze. Sark. Guy finds ways to lose. When is the last big game he won. Yes. Texas has some tough losses. Bama, TCU, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech. Finding ways to lose the Longhorn way. Huskies get the shaft after being tied and having better record in PAC 12 for a championship shot. So yeah, they want to come in and Texas. Longhorns best RBs opt out. Huge drop-off. Texas will probably lose some other pieces also. Not the case for the Washington crew. Take the Points. Taking DALLAS here. Line has moved as Titians will be resting guys for next week vs the Jags. Do I want you laying 10 with the Cowboys here. Of course not. That is why we are on the sites laying 6. Taking FLORIDA STATE. Huge move on this one. Still think Seminoles win by double digits. One of the best RB in the nation, out for the Sooners. Let's add a couple OLs. Out. You downgrade at RB huge and now lose starting OL men. Yikes. This is just a huge game for FSU and their HC. 10 wins. Crush 'Oklahoma'. Sooners might be 6-6, but, it is still a huge college name. Taking UTAH STATE. Memphis clearly bringing superior offense to First Responders Bowl. This line though has dipped even as Utah State lost a 1000 yard rusher opting out for the NFL draft reasons. Reports though he may play. It would help vs a poor Memphis rushing defense. As good as the Tigers offense is, it does play some close games 7 decided by 12 or less, 4 within a TD.  As much as like my dogs to be live for outright upsets, this one falls into the get in the backdoor basket. 4* Money Maker UTAH STATE

Taking GEORGIA SOUTHERN. Clay Helton shows arrives from the PAC 12 and Georgian Southern goes 6-6 and finds a bowl berth! - Look. Simple handicap for me here. GASO QB was the starter at Buffalo last year and played 5 years for the Bulls! Guy threw more TDs this year then his entire career at Buffalo (33 games)! I like the Sun Belt a bit more than the MAC. Buffalo dropped 3 of last 4 and their win was 23-22 as a 12pt fav and were favored in 2 of the losses. At least with the Eagles we can say, Ok, 3 of 4 losses, and you were dogs in all 4 of those. They have been dogs in 9 of their last 10 games. This is feisty bunch with a solid offense. 4* Money Maker GEORGIA SOUTHERN 

Taking MIAMI. Man. Dolphins hurt me vs the Bills last week. I though that was a bad spot - 3 straight road games. Revenge for Bills. Some cold and snow. But. I do not get the cover as a RB decides to take a dive at the 2 and the kicker in some wind and snow knocks it through. Anyway. Packers don't look good to me. They haven't all season. So you beat the Rams. Baker was picked up off the street on a bus bench 2 weeks ago. Miami offense is a tad bit better. Hill and Waddle should have pretty good games here. Won't be shocked if both go over 100 with TDs. Short week for GB which again, has been average at best this season. 4* Money Maker MIAMI DOLPHINS

Taking the COWBOYS. Grabbed them before the Hurts news. Also OVER the 50 which has since come down. Said earlier about the Browns Under at 39 now 32.5, sometimes the earlier number helps, here, not so much. That being said. The initial reaction to move this to 6, too much in my eyes. Now between 4-5 makes a little more sense. Dak outplayed him in previous year. Dallas with Dak has no problems putting up some offense. But Dak has struggled with INTs the last couple weeks. If they want any chance of making a playoff run, that has to end. Philly need to win 1 of last 3 to clinch 1 seed. Dallas pretty much set as the 5 seed. As long as this stays around 4ish, Dallas should get it done. I can't see Eagles risking Hurts here when they don't need to. 4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

Taking the TEXANS. I have mentioned my Look Ahead Lines show in these write ups through-out the course of the season. And here we have yet another case of get down early on a game. A 3. Titans at -3 now. So Tannehill is banged up. They beat these guys 17-10 without him earlier this year. I guess we couple that with the Houston's past 2 spirited efforts vs the Chiefs and Cowboys. Heck - toss in that Browns game with a Punt TD, fumble TD and INT TD with a possible rookie QB plus revenge! They may break through to the elusive W column! Now 4 straight losses for Tennessee. They canned their GM - and they were in 1st place at the time. Lovie and company outright this afternoon for a Christmas miracle. 4* Money Maker HOUSTON TEXANS 

Taking DETROIT. Tough not to take streaking Lions. Even tougher when you have to lay points with them. Only recent in this run that crazy one to the Bills. I had both Panthers and Lions last week with mixed results. Carolina still alive in this mess of the South. Panthers probably with the much better defense if we are all being honest here. This is just one of those gut plays for me where we see something, the Lions going from 1-6 to a 10-7. 4* Money Maker DETROIT LIONS 

Taking CLEVELAND. Saints. Dome team, outside. First look, there will be some cold weather. Desperate Browns. Give me Chubb to close in on 200 yards here. On a side note here. We locked in the UNDER here at 39. Sometimes betting early you get a better number. 4* Money Maker CLEVELAND BROWNS 

Taking SEATTLE. Maybe the Chiefs take the foot off the peddle a bit here with rival Denver on deck. Even so. This is a big number vs a really desperate Seattle now. KC 10-3 ATS but 2-10-1 ATS last 13. Always the extra juice on this public bet teams. Mahomes is the MVP. Guy is gonna pass for 5 thousand yards and have over 40 TDs. But back to that ATS number, 0-5-1 ATS for KC when laying more than a TD. KC locked up 7th straight AFC Division. Seattle extra prep of that Thursday night San Fran game. Taking the BENGALS. For me. These guys are the best team in the league right now. We cashed with them last week, will come back on them again. 10-2 SU 11-1 ATS last 11. I don't care who the coach of NE is. This team is on a different level right now. I read that out of the Patriots 7 wins, 6 are vs backup QBs. Yikes. Last weeks ending vs Raiders - Does this look like any type a Hoodie Coached team? The offense, and I have said this all season. Offensive to say the least. Look.  If somehow NE pulls one out of their butts, wow. But Cincy plays in the cold. December in NE might be mild compared to winter in Cincinnati. Taking the JAGS here. We saw this line on the move Sunday night as I was doing the Look Ahead Lines Show now at a PK in some shops. Also said to grab the Under also at 42 - now down to a 38 in some spots. Wilson or White, I still think New York has trouble scoring. One healthy QB is huge over a guy with injuries concerns and another cat who the players don't want on the field. I would rather have the Jags in off a loss to Dallas instead of the big OT win. But this team is still fighting for the South Title. I like their coach. I think even on a short week on the road we have a slight edge. Jets defense is a top unit, so the under is still in play here as well. Jags just need a win here and I think they get it. 4* Money Maker JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Taking SOUTH ALABAMA. Terrible number here for us. But that happens when we bet early.  WKU QB was out, now he is back. But he is down a couple OL men, and a pair of TEs. And when you pull a stunt like that, where is your heart. How do your teammates feel about you? This isn't a guy going in the 1st round of the draft and guys would like, I get it. WKU had a ho-hum season. Jaguars nearly an undefeated season - 4pts.. 4 points from undefeated 32-31 at UCLA, - 10-6 vs Troy. South Alabama looking at 11 wins with a victory here. They bring a Top 15 overall defense to the mix. Obviously would much rather be laying the 4.5, but I still think we can pull out the cover. 4* Money Maker SOUTH ALABAMA

Taking TOLEDO. This is such an up and down team. I don't like them laying points. MAC itself a total mess this season. But nothing like the mess Liberty has left itself. 3 straight losses- UCONN! (though we took them +11 in their bowl game) Virginia Tech who had 3 wins, 1 being over Wofford, barely. And 6-6 New Mexico State who throttled them 49-14. Oh - did I mention they were Double Digit favorites in all 3 of those games? Where is this teams mindset? Not happy about being in Boca that's for sure. Their HC left for greener pastures. Look, the Toledo HC really is not to be trusted as a favorite. I said on the Mid Day Money show for the MAC Championship this team was favored in every game but 1 (at Ohio State). They have 5 losses. But if this guy can't pull out a win here (0-4 SU/ ATS in Bowls) the administration should really start looking for a new HC. 4* Money Maker TOLEDO ROCKETS

Taking CONNECTICUT in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. How do we turn down double digits with 2 teams that have trouble scoring? We don't, that's how! Marshall has to be thinking. We beat Notre Dame, in South Bend. How the heck are we playing UConn in South Carolina? Good question. And I don't have that answer. I know the Herd are a much better team. The stats and numbers don't lie. They are what they are. Huskies a scrappy bunch. I think we hang around enough to sneak in that backdoor. 4* Money Maker UCONN

Taking CINCINNATI. Best team going in the NFL right now. I will take credit for waking this beast up. We had the Browns in that Halloween beat down. And since then, Bengals have been the king of the jungle. Time to eat on an elderly former king. This TB offense is dreadful. I don't think this game is close. Bengals put up close to 30. How is Tampa scoring? Hint- they aren't. They think 16 is a win, when it just gets kids a drivers permit in some states. Tampa 1-9-1 ATS run Cincy 10-1 ATS run. I am not one for blindly riding a trend, but I will gladly use it when it is working in my favor. 4* Money Maker CINCINNATI BENGALS 

Taking DALLAS. Not the best number, but it happens. The outcomes of these 2 games were the opposite of what I thought would happen. I was looking for a Dallas 37-16 type of game, and the Jags to come off a physical 10pt loss to the Titans. Nope. Any given Sunday for sure. And even with the Eagles on deck, I think Dallas cruises here. Defense will cause havoc. Don't blame them for that game last week. Short field not on them. Dak needs to get his act together. And I think it will - behind a heavy run game that opens up some passing lanes so there will not be multiple INTs. 4* Money Maker DALLAS COWBOYS

Taking the LIONS. Not liking the big line move here. Though we had it last week when we grabbed Detroit as home dogs before they flipped to being the favorite.  6-0 ATS and 5-1 SU last 6 for Motown. Still like them as a short favorite. Jets still struggling on offense - 2 TDs the last 2 games. A touchdown a game will not get you many wins no matter how great your defense is. Even against the Lions. I like White. I thought he should have been in the moment Zach got hurt in preseason. But the kid is a solid shot away from Joe Flacco coming in this afternoon. Goff outdoors isn't something I love. But Detroit has a run game that can, and will get it done. 4* Money Maker DETROIT LIONS

Taking CAROLINA. Well. Had a pair loses last week with these 2. Took Pitt, took Seattle. 0-2. Not making the same mistake though on the Panthers. Team is clearly playing for Wilks. Defense on both sides of the field here, yes. But give me the Carolina offense. They are running it well. Power run football baby! And the Steelers just got mauled on the ground by Baltimore. Those games are always brutal. And - Hello Mitch Trubisky! That is 1, if not 2 INTs in our favor before the game even kicks off. 27-9 Panthers quest for the NFC South Title still alive. 4* Money Maker CAROLINA PANTHERS

Taking BOISE here. North Texas canned their HC, left the DC, who, came out of retirement and led a defense that gave up 455 yards a game (124th) on the year and is in fresh off of giving up 48 points in the CUSA Championship Game. Boise will bring a defense and a decent offense to town. So Mean Green gets to play close to home. It won't matter. North Texas totally overmatched here. 4* Money Maker BOISE STATE 

Taking the BILLS here. 21-19 revenger on tap for Buffalo. I think this is a double digit win. Possible bad weather. Or  bad for Miami, they aren't playing in cold, snow, sleet or whatever the Bills Mafia drums up tonight. We had talked about this game on Look Ahead Lines. Get it early. It would only go up. Miami 3rd straight road game vs a revenge minded team. Dolphins offense doesn't look that sharp to me. Tua looked awful vs a depleted, and quite frankly a bad Chargers defense. Couldn't get past that 17 points again. Might want to look at the Under also here. I don't think Miami scores 16. Short week. Sunday night, fly home. Fly to Buffalo for a Saturday game. Taking the BROWNS. We have faded the Ravens the last 3 weeks and will make it 4 in a row. This team, even with Lamar, struggles to cover. Now, they are dogs because there is no Lamar. And possibly no, or a banged up backup. Either way, Baltimore is 1-4 last 5 when their QB is out. Short week, on the road. Another desperate division rival needing a win. Watson in his 3rd start. Can't play worse than he has. Just hand the ball to Chubb and let the guy eat. Lean Under here, something like 19-12. 4* Money Maker CLEVELAND BROWNS 

Taking FRESNO here. This was an easy call for me. First. We had these guys ML in the Mountain West Championship Game. And as I said then - QB is back, watch out. This is a solid team. Now they get to play little brother (MWC) vs big brother (PAC 12) Cougars lose 1000 WR yards to the portal. Their DC leaves the cold to head to Arizona State. And we have a QB and offense that is humming winning 8 in a row. 5* Best Bet FRESNO STATE

Taking LOUISVILLE here. I know we have no coaches for either team. Our coach is going to coach the other team. We got no Coach. We got no QB. Our pets heads are falling off! (Dumb & Dumber anyone) So why are we backing to the window for this?  For me. 2 things here. Last year Cincinnati in the Playoffs! Now, day 2 of Bowl Season at Fenway Park for the Wasabi Bowl. Hot mess bowl for Cincy. And UL. You don't think these guys want to beat their coaches new team. Oh, you think we stink. Well, watch us beat your new guys. Granted. Taking UAB. We get a pair of 6-6 teams on in the Bahamas mid-December. Look. Grabbing a double digit dog with a team who won a bowl last year, and has a steady hand at the coaching position seems like a sound bet. Even though UAB hired Trent Dilfer, the players went to bat for their coach and said we want him instead. Motivation not a factor. A RB that is CUSAs Player of the Year. Miami O defense gave up 175+ on the ground in 5 of their last 6. The offense put up more that 21 3 times in their last 10 games. UAB was an underachieving bunch, I get it. But this line is double digits for a reason. I'm laying it.  4* Money Maker UAB BLAZERS

Taking SAN FRAN here. Line is up to 3 now. And though as of this write up it looks like Seattle has their RB back, I still have to side with the Niners here. Purdy doesn't have to be pretty. Guy did chuck it 37 times vs Miami. But he can game manage with the best of them like he did in efficient fashion last week vs TB going 16-21 with a pair of TDs. This is really me fading Seattle. They have not looked sharp the last 4 weeks. We can make some excuses. Long flight from Arizona to Germany to face Tampa. Blowing a lead and game vs Vegas at home. Overlooking a bad Rams team. But what was last week? Injuries? Carolina off a bye week? Look. If you can't knock off the Panthers at home, you have problems. Vegas game too? Those are 2 losses that will come back to haunt your season. SF red hot, not skipping a beat winning 6 in a row. Their defense is the difference maker here. Little over 10ppg allowed in that win streak. Clinch the NFC West with a win tonight. Will lean towards the Under here also. But San Fran should squeeze out a 7-10pt win tonight. 4* Money Maker SAN FRANCISCO 49ers

Taking SEATTLE. Bad number for me early. It happens. Have some good ones, have some bad. Looks like our RB is out. Look. I know that Carolina has been playing hard for Wilks. But that still doesn't sway me here. Seattle has been pretty solid all year. I will forgive a lack luster effort last week. Reading press clippings how you should destroy a Rams team with nobody playing. Yeah. A flat spot. Niners on deck. A look ahead. I say no. Seattle needs win. SF picked them off in the first game. Now - No Jimmy G. QB 3. Seattle has to think they can overtake San Fran here. No spot for letdowns or giveaway games. 4* Money Maker SEATTLE SEAHAWKS 

Taking TAMPA. I said in some earlier write ups, sometimes we catch a good number, sometimes not on the line moves. Lions/ Pitt/ Seattle and now Tampa. I was on this from the start because I had NO on MNF and thought they win outright. Tampa, losing on MNF for all the world to see, a nice play on an ugly dog. Some of that happens. We saw Brady late game magic to pull out a miracle cover. That hurts me a bit here. But the big reason is the QB play. Jimmy G is out. And I if I were him, I am out for the year. This franchise tossed you out on your butt for an unproven rookie. That is another story. I know SF runs the ball and plays defense. I still feel good getting points here. Will probably be an ugly FG game. 4* Money Maker TAMPA BAY BUCS 

Taking the CHIEFS. You think anything less than 10 is a good number vs a Denver team that scores 13 points a game! Look. KC off a loss. I am buying. We did it in Tampa. We did it at San Fran. We will do it in Denver. KC 13-0 SU 9-4 ATS in this series. And those Broncos teams were better. If Andy Reid and Mahomes don't win this by 10+, then the AFC does go through Cincy or Buffalo. Taking the JETS. This Bills team seems to be playing down to the competition. And that is fine by me getting points with the Jets. I am big Buffalo guy. We have had them a few times this year (not on Thanksgiving though!) Back to playing down. Bills blew out the Rams and Titans. Lost at Miami. Pulled out a miracle vs the Ravens. Crushed Pitt. Beat KC. And there, the revenge, and they think they are Super Bowl bound. Beat GB, Lost to these Zach Wilson led Jets. That Minnesota loss! And I had them. Off that Jets game. Up 27-10 you lose? Beat Cleveland by 8. Need a late rally to win vs Detroit. Even with revenge I think Jets get in the back door here.  4* Money Maker NY JETS

Taking the LIONS. Not shocked the line moved, just shocked at how much it moved. But should we really be. The last 4 games these 2 have played. Minny 28-24 - Detroit 29-27 - Minny 19-17 - Minny 37-35. So we have seen some close games. But as I have said on the Mid Day Money Show.. Detroit is playing some good ball right now. Let's go  back to Dallas. That game was 10-6 with 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter. The led Miami 21-7 and 27-17. They have won 4 of 5 with a last second lost to the Bills. Vikings have been playing with fire all season. 10-2 with 9 one possession wins! 9!! Yard Per Play, Point Differential. Talk about smoke and mirrors. I know Minnesota can wrap up the division today with a win, but give me Detroit to win this thing. 4* Money Maker DETROIT LIONS

Taking the STEELERS. A little line move here as Lamar is out. Look If we get Kenny Pickett and not PickINT, then I think Pitt wins this with no drama. Rookie hasn't tossed a pick in 4 games. Watt return has lifted the defense. And this series is always tight games. We had Denver last week because we don't love the Ravens. They are overvalued favorites. Granted, they are a dog or Pk or whatever the line is now. Jackson was out last year and Baltimore lost all 5 games. Is this team better this year? I don't think so. 4* Money Maker PITTSBURGH STEELERS 

Taking CINCINNATI. This was a tough one for me. We have Cincy off a big win over KC. So let down spot right? I dunno about that. That is now 3 straight over the Chiefs. And getting to face the Browns. We had Cleveland in that Halloween beatdown. Time for payback. And I don't care Watson is back. He looked terrible last week. The team looked bad. It won because are just plain awful. They are 17 point dogs this week! Bengals all over this team today. Team Total Over if you want. 30+ on the horizon. 5* Best Bet CINCINNATI BENGALS 

Taking the SAINTS. Faded Tampa last week, will do it again here. Line has moved. Not shocked. I guess it took until Week 13 for people to start thinking Tom Brady isn't 29 and the Tampa offense will just show up and score 34 points. Saints not better. Coming off getting shut out 13-0 at Frisco. This team is a mess for sure. Turnovers. Penalties. Andy Dalton at QB. But I wake up every day and see ugly in the mirror. I don't mind taking these mutts on Monday night. Something tells me outright win for the Saints tonight. 4* Money Maker NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Going UNDER the total here. Now unless Dallas pulls a Bears game and drops a 40+, I can't see this getting near this number. Colts still play a little defense. We know they don't play much offense. Dallas defense will be all over Ryan here. I can see the Cowboys playing down here. Something like 27-13 sounds about right. Dallas with the extra Thanksgiving prep time. Taking NORTH CAROLINA. Both teams not looking good. NC, losers of 2 straight, both as favorites. But hey, you are in the ACC Championship Game! Clemson. Wowzer. Losing outright as a 14pt home favorite over South Carolina. 40 game home win streak snapped. I am not lover of Clemson. But this team is normally a College Football Playoff team. Where is the motivation? I haven't loved their QB the last 2 years. How about 99 yards last week? Look NC has struggled a bit - but I do think their QB is miles better than Clemson's. South Carolina, ND, Wake, Florida State. All teams that can throw a bit. All had success vs this defense. I'll gladly take the points. 4* Money Maker NORTH CAROLINA 

Taking  MICHIGAN. Last year saw the Wolverines knock off Ohio State then thrash Iowa. I mean. Last year 42-27 over Ohio State. 42-3 over Iowa. This year, 45-23 over Ohio State. Are they going to take the foot off the gas. They want to win the Big 10 Championship Game. Undefeated is nice. Purdue. Who had the Boilermakers on their Big 10 Bingo Cards? Michigan has played 1 close game all year. Vs Illinois, a week before Ohio State. This will be like the Penn State game, 41-17. 4* Money Maker MICHIGAN WOLVERINES
