08-25-24 | Patriots -6.5 v. Commanders | 10-20 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 18 m | Show
New England Patriots. LATE INFO MOVE. Game 135. 5:00 PM PST/8:00 PM EST. Not crazy about laying this much wood in the final preseason game. However, the New England Patriots are definitely a play here. Washington is set at the starting quarterback position as Jayden Daniels has been named the regular season starter. I doubt very much he's going to see too much action here. It really doesn't matter because the Commanders offense have mustered a mere, 23 total points scored this preseason, while allowing over 33 points. They have lost and failed to cover both exhibition contests. On the other hand, there is a competition at the quarterback position for the Patriots. So, you gonna’ see anybody they put under center giving their all. Please also remember the New England defense has allowed a total of 17 points this preseason. I see them winning and covering this one. Take the Patriots. Thank you. |
08-25-24 | Cardinals v. Broncos -3 | 12-38 | Win | 100 | 6 h 52 m | Show
Denver Broncos VI MOVE. Game 134. 1:30 PM PST/4;30 PM EST. Both Arizona and Denver are predicted to finish last in their Divisions. As a matter fact, both teams are also forecasted to finish on the lower end of the League in total wins for the regular season. The Cardinals have not put too much effort in this preseason, losing both games straight up, and accounting for a total of 27 points scored. Meanwhile the Broncos are 2-0, both straight up and against the spread, and are motivated here playing at home in front of their loyal fan base. The Cardinals have reported (check status) none of their starters or serious role players will be seeing action here. Whether they do or not, the backup roles for the Broncos are quite a bit deeper at offensive positions. This one leaves little doubt. Take Denver. Thank you. |
08-24-24 | Browns v. Seahawks +1 | 33-37 | Win | 100 | 10 h 42 m | Show
Seattle Seahawks. Late Bailout. Game 130. 7:00 PM PST/10:00 PM EST. Let's talk turkey. No one expects too much from either Cleveland or Seattle this season. And, it is true the Browns have some serious talent in backup roles at the quarterback position. Whether or not Watson plays here (check status), really doesn't matter. If he does, he isn't gonna’ play too long. If he doesn't, Winston, Huntley, and Thompson-Robinson are all pretty good. They even have some good names for back up positions at the running back and receiver positions. However, this offense has really sputtered this preseason, averaging just 11.0 points per game. Meanwhile their defense has gotten shredded for over 25.0 points zero points per game. Speaking of defense, the Seahawks have played pretty well, allowing a total of 19 points scored. Their offense has also struggled a bit. But they are playing at home, their only home game this preseason, in front of their loyal fans, in one of the loudest stadiums in the National Football League. I feel making them an underdog is a mistake. Take Seattle. Thank you. |
08-24-24 | Chargers v. Cowboys -3.5 | 26-19 | Loss | -110 | 4 h 45 m | Show
Dallas Cowboys VI MOVE. Game 126. 1:00 PM PST/4:00 PM EST. This is the Cowboys only home game in this preseason. This is the only opportunity for the team to get their fans excited in person for the upcoming season. Yes, they are touted to be one of the best teams in the NFC. They are pretty respectable at backup positions on offense. We saw this last week as they tore up Las Vegas on the road, 27-12. On the other hand. Los Angeles has mustered a mere, 12 totals points scored this preseason. Don't fool yourself, this is still a good team. However, they are not going to jeopardize any of their starters here for too long. They can't. While Dallas won't as well, they still are loaded at backup positions and this is, as I mentioned earlier, the only chance at home to show their fans that they are a very good team. Take the Cowboys. Thank you. |
08-24-24 | Steelers v. Lions +7 | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 2 h 52 m | Show
Detroit Lions. Early Winner. Game 122. 10:00 AM PST/1:00 PM EST. Granted, reports are Pittsburgh is going to have their starters playing a significant amount of snaps. However, have we seen this offense look good enough to lay a touchdown against anyone else in the preseason? I think not! I know Detroit is going to have most of their second stringers in, but I have to to be honest with you, they are loaded at key positions and I don't see them taking a beating in their last exhibition contest prior to the regular season at home in front of their loyal fans. Take the TD. Take the Lions. Thank you. |
08-23-24 | Dolphins +3 v. Bucs | 14-24 | Loss | -105 | 9 h 40 m | Show
Miami Dolphins. Friday Night Lights Winner. Game 111. 4:30 PM PST/7:30 PM EST. Miami, which has won and covered both preseason games thus far, is pretty deep at key offensive positions. On the other hand, Tampa Bay has struggled offensively averaging just 12.0 points per game this preseason. I doubt very much they're going to put forth too much of an effort here tonight and jeopardize any starters. Take the Dolphins. Thank you. |
08-22-24 | Colts -6.5 v. Bengals | 27-14 | Win | 100 | 8 h 3 m | Show
Indianapolis Colts. Colts/Bengals Winner. Game 105. 5:00 PM PST/8:00 PM EST. Indianapolis has some very talented backups competing for the number two spots in key offensive positions. On the other hand, Cincinnati's roster is more or less set. They have also mustered just a total of 17 points scored this preseason. I don't expect them to jeopardize any of their starters for too long here. Take the Colts. Thank you. |
08-17-24 | Jets v. Panthers | 15-12 | Win | 100 | 31 h 14 m | Show
New York Jets. LATE INFO MOVE. Game 421. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. Jets Head Coach, Robert Saleh likes to win in the preseason. He also reported that “most” starters are going to play a bit here. New York plays in a very competitive division and must try to give their loyal fan base something to get excited over before this regular season begins. The Panthers are expected to do much this season and won’t jeopardize any of the talent they do possess. Take the Jets. Thank you. |
08-17-24 | Vikings v. Browns -2.5 | 27-12 | Loss | -115 | 29 h 44 m | Show
Cleveland Browns. NO LIMIT. Game 412. 1:25 PM PST/4:25 PM EST. Cleveland has some serious talent in the backup positions, all competing for jobs. Whether it be a quarterback, running back, or wide receiver, this team has a lot of depth. They face a Minnesota Vikings opponent here that finally got their first preseason win in as far back as we can remember. I think they come back down to Earth here, especially after the news of losing JJ McCarthy for an extended period of time. I equally like Cleveland as much as I dislike Minnesota here. Take the Browns. Thank you. |
08-17-24 | Lions v. Chiefs -7 | 24-23 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 28 m | Show
Kansas City Chiefs. Consensus. Game 410 1:00 PM PST/4:00 PM EST. Kansas City did not look too sharp in their preseason opener on the road at Jacksonville. However, this is a team, and a head coach that over the last three preseasons is 7-2 straight up and 6-3 against the spread. With the possibility that they may face the Detroit Lions in February, Andy Reid will look to get a psychological edge here. News is he is going to play some of his starters here for significant snaps. Reports are also Detroit, which are predicted to be a very good team this season, aren't going to jeopardize too many of their key players on either side of the ball. Always check status, but either way Reid and the Chiefs will win this game more than a touchdown. Take Kansas City. Thank you. |
08-10-24 | Raiders -3 v. Vikings | 23-24 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 41 m | Show
Las Vegas Raiders. NFLX Money Maker. Game 117. 1:00 PM PST/4:00 PM EST. The Las Vegas Raiders are certainly a team that puts forth a strong effort in preseason play, going 8-2 SU and 7-3 ATS the last three NFL exhibition campaigns. This is a team with high expectations this season. However, they are predicted to finish third in the AFC West, and currently are 50-1 to win the AFC Championship. But yet they are still a fan favorite, and have one of the costliest season ticket prices in the League. This team has to generate some excitement for their fans and season ticket holders. There is a lot of pressure here in Las Vegas to win right now. Last year, at times their defense looked outstanding. There were also times their defense looked quite poor. But I believe we all know August football is about the offense. This is a team that has some solid names at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver positions. There are several players vying for the number two spots on this roster. On the other hand, the Minnesota Vikings preseason history is well documented. They have failed to win a single August contest the last three years, going 0-9 SU and 2-7 ATS. They don't put forth much of an effort in exhibition play. This team does have some big names, especially at the quarterback position; Sam Darnold, who is expected to see some action here, their top draft pick, JJ McCarthy, and even have Nick Mullins, and Jaren Hall. I doubt very much you will see the team put Donald or McCarthy at risk for too long. While Donald is expected to start, we have heard reports about McCarthy’s status here, seeing significant action. Either way it looks like Mullins and possibly Hall will get the bulk of the snaps here (ALWAYS CHECK STATUS). They do have a good running game. As I mentioned previously, this team does not put forth any effort in preseason play. I believe the Raiders have a lot more to prove here, and need to get their fan base excited. Take Las Vegas. Thank you. |
08-09-24 | Texans v. Steelers +2.5 | 20-12 | Loss | -105 | 8 h 22 m | Show
Pittsburgh Steelers. Touch Down Play. Game 108. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. Both head coaches have a history of trying in preseason play. Both teams are also loaded with playmakers at key offensive positions. Several are trying to earn the No. 2 spots. Having said that, the Houston Texans are expected to win the AFC South. They are also predicted to be a contender for the AFC Title. On the other hand, the Pittsburgh Steelers are predicted to finish last in the AFC North. To make matters worse, they are in the bottom third of the AFC to compete for the Championship. My guess is, this doesn't bode very well for the team, the front office, or their loyal fans. There is no denying their steep history of winning. There is also no denying they must give their loyal fan base at home, something to be excited about this season. I feel the wrong team is favored here. But I will take the underdog plus the points. Take Pittsburgh. Thank you. |
08-26-23 | Raiders -5 v. Cowboys | Top | 16-31 | Loss | -110 | 21 h 42 m | Show |
Las Vegas Raiders. Preseason Game of the Year. Came 131. 5:00 PM PST/8:00 PM EST Under head coach, Josh McDaniels, Las Vegas is 6-0 straight up and against the spread in preseason play. Dallas has not only failed to win either of their two outings this August, but they failed to cover both as well. Last week against Seattle, several of their key contributors got banged up. This does include a couple of their ball carriers. The undersized Deuce Vaughn isn’t going to be laid out to dry for too long here. They can’t afford to not have an able running back going into Week 1 of the regular season. The Raiders aren’t touted to do too well this year. So, I do expect them to come out here and put up some big numbers to excite their dedicated fans base and season-ticket holders. Take Las Vegas. Thank you. |
08-26-23 | Bengals v. Commanders -3 | 19-21 | Loss | -110 | 19 h 1 m | Show
Washington Commanders. Bookie Buster play. Game 126. 3:05 PM PST/6:05 PM EST. It’s certainly no secret that the Cincinnati Bengals are expected to be one of the best teams in the NFL this season. It’s also no secret that their head coach doesn’t put too much effort in preseason play. I doubt very much they’re going to jeopardize any of their key playmakers here for too long. On the other hand, the Washington Commanders are picked to finish dead last in the NFC East. Not only that, but they are expected to win just 6.5 games this season. And own some of the longest odds to win the NFC Championship. They do have a coach that puts forth a lot of effort in August. This preseason they are 2-0, both straight up and against the spread. It has been reported that all healthy players will be getting some action here (check status). Unlike their opponent in this contest, they have quite a few players still trying to make earn starting slots as well as more than a few trying to make backup positions. I expect this team to be extremely competitive here and give their fans something to be excited about during this upcoming regular season. Take the Commanders. Thank you. |
08-26-23 | Jets v. Giants +6 | 32-24 | Loss | -105 | 19 h 6 m | Show
New York Giants. High Roller play. Game 124. 3:00 PM PST/6:00 PM EST. Neither team has done exceptionally well this preseason. And it is true, the Jets have taken the last two preseason meetings in this in-state rivalry. However, the stadium is going to be filled with fans wearing the color blue. While Aaron Rodgers is expected to make his debut here for the New York football Jets, it’s no secret that they are touted to be a little more successful this year than the New York football Giants. That doesn’t sit well with the boys in blue. They will make a statement and let all of New York & New Jersey know that this is their house. Take the points with a Giant. Thank you. |
08-24-23 | Steelers -4.5 v. Falcons | 24-0 | Win | 100 | 9 h 56 m | Show
Pittsburgh Steelers. NFLX Bookie Buster. Game 105. 4:30 PM PST/7:30 PM EST. The Atlanta Falcons are supposed to be a much improved team this season, being touted as the second-best squad in the NFC South. However, they are also touted to win just 8.5 games. While they picked up some new additions that should certainly help the ball club, overall, this team is not a force to be reckoned with. There are some rumors that the locker room has had some arguments about the quarterback position already. This preseason they haven’t shown too much offense, as team has accounted for just 16.0 points per game, going 1-0-1 SU and 1-1 ATS. I doubt very much that their head coach is going to jeopardize any of their key players for too long in this contest. On the other hand, Mike Tomlin stated that all healthy players will see the field this evening and get some significant playing time. This is a team known to put forth a very strong effort in preseason play. They are 2-0, both SU and ATS this season, beating some opponents they don’t really like too much in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Buffalo Bills. On both sides of the ball, this team has really excelled, accounting for 27.0 PPG, while allowing just 16.0 PPG. Over the last six preseasons, they possess a very solid record of 17-4 SU, going 16-5 ATS. Let’s face it, over the last several decades, the Steelers were one of the highest toed teams every season in the AFC. They have one of the most loyal fan bases in all of sports. This season, they are expected to finish last in the AFC North. So going into the regular season with a perfect record in August would not just motivate the team, the coaches, and the front office, but also their loyal fans. There’s also one more key thing you should know: on the defensive side of the ball, they have several starters that are very familiar with tonight’s opponent, as they started their careers with the Falcons. Look for Mike Tomlin to have his team revved up and ready here. Take Pittsburgh. Thank you. |
08-19-23 | Cowboys +7 v. Seahawks | 14-22 | Loss | -110 | 11 h 32 m | Show
Dallas Cowboys. High Roller. Game 427. 7:00 PM PST/10:00 PM EST. Sports fans, this is a straight up sharp money move. Once again, this season, the Dallas Cowboys are supposed to be a contender in the NFC. They’ve got to first get past some tough division opponents and a not-so-easy schedule. They took a loss in preseason Week 1 to the Jacksonville jaguars, 28-23. Let’s face it, there’s a lot of eyes on this team. And they are certainly under the gun to have a successful campaign. Not only that, but they have to get some excitement going for the season ticket holders, for sure. I just don’t see the Seattle Seahawks warranting being a touchdown favorite here. This is way too many points to give a team that must make some sort of a splash this week to get their new additions, as well as their fans excited for the beginning of the regular season. Take the touchdown with Dallas. Thank you. |
08-19-23 | Bears +5 v. Colts | 17-24 | Loss | -110 | 8 h 40 m | Show
Chicago Bears. Best Bet. Game 413. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. I think we can all agree no one expects either the Bears or the Colts to do too much this season. But there is a major difference between these two teams. And that is the fact that some of the most loyal fans in all the sports reside in the city of Chicago. The coaching staff, the team, and the front office certainly want to give their loyal fan base something to be excited about. This is also a team that seems to try in preseason, winning and covering six of their last seven games played in August. I don’t know if you recall, but back in 2007 these two met in the Super Bowl when the Bears had a lead and then lost it to the Colts. Maybe they get a little bit of revenge here my friends. But at the very least they could give their loyal fans something to be excited about. Take the points with Chicago. Thank you. |
08-19-23 | Bills v. Steelers +1 | 15-27 | Win | 100 | 7 h 16 m | Show
Pittsburgh Steelers. Bookie Buster. Game 412. 3:30 PM PST/6:30 PM EST. This is a very unique matchup. For decades, Pittsburgh was known as THE team in the AFC. Well times they are a changing. And now Buffalo is the top-dog in the conference. One thing about Steeler fans, they are loyal. I don’t think they expect too much from their team this year. So, a big win against a top AFC opponent would go a long way to motivate their loyal fan base. Let’s face it, the Bills don’t need to prove anything here. They know that barring a major injury, they will be in the postseason. Take the points with Pittsburgh. Thank you. |
08-17-23 | Browns +4 v. Eagles | 18-18 | Win | 100 | 9 h 55 m | Show
Cleveland Browns. High Roller play. Game 401. 4:30 PM PST/7:30 PM EST. The Cleveland Browns are certainly a respected AFC team. But they really aren’t touted to be a powerhouse this season. On the other hand, the Philadelphia Eagles, are one of the top teams in the NFC. This is a team that doesn’t normally put forth too much of an effort in August. Barring any major injuries, I think we can all expect the Eagles to be a team competing for the NFC title. They are not going to put their major contributors in too much of harms way here tonight. On the other hand, the Browns have a lot to prove. And have a lot of talent in the backup positions. Giving them points here is a mistake. Take Cleveland. Thank you. |
08-13-23 | 49ers v. Raiders +4 | Top | 7-34 | Win | 100 | 52 h 2 m | Show |
Las Vegas Raiders. NFL Week 1 Best Bet. Game 134. 1:00 PM PST/4:00 PM EST. As of this week, the San Francisco 49ers are touted to be one of the top teams in football this season. Most sports books have them taking the NFC West with ease. And most sports books have them as one of the top two teams in the NFC. Meanwhile, questionably the most talked about team in pro football, the Las Vegas Raiders are expected to finish last in the AFC West, and only win 6.5 games. There might be a little animosity here dating back to when both teams were in the same state. But there’s definitely some animosity being the quarterback for San Francisco over recent seasons is now wearing a Las Vegas jersey. Oh, by the way, to add gasoline to the fire, the last time these two teams faced one another, San Fran won in OT at Allegiant, 37-34. That game was played last January 1. Reports are that Brock Purdy is most-likely not going to play here (check status). But the offense certainly is chock-full of talent at the quarterback slot. I don’t expect head coach, Kyle Shanahan to put any of his playmakers at risk for too long. Raiders head coach, Josh McDaniels is known to put forth an effort in August action. Overall, this team is 6-1 SU and 5-2 ATS their L7 in preseason games. There is a lot of pressure on the Las Vegas coaching staff, players, and front office to win here. I do see them coming out here and playing very strongly and making a splash. Giving them this many points at home is a mistake. Take the Raiders. Thank you. |
08-12-23 | Colts v. Bills +4 | 19-23 | Win | 100 | 25 h 10 m | Show
Buffalo Bills. Bookie Buster. Game 122. 10:00 AM PST/1:00 PM EST. With the news that both Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs (check status) will not be playing this Saturday, money started coming in on Indianapolis. After yet another post season, let down last year for Buffalo, they must come out here and make a statement. Being at home and getting points, especially this many points against a team that is slated to win just 6.5 games this season, can’t sit well with the Bills. They want to come out and give their very loyal, following something to be excited about. Reports are that Anthony Richardson (check status) will start at QB four the Colts. While Indianapolis has some solid names on their offense, I just don’t see them having too much success against the anticipated much-improved Buffalo defense. If you recall, a season ago The Buffalo stop-unit was a bit leaky at times. On the opposite side of the ball, the Bills possess some very good talent vying for first- and second-string slots. Besides, this is a team that has won and covered five of their last six preseason contests. Take the Buffalo plus the points. Thank you. |
08-11-23 | Broncos -5 v. Cardinals | 17-18 | Loss | -113 | 30 h 51 m | Show
Denver Broncos. NFLX LAS VEGAS STRIP MOVE. Game 117. 7:00 PM PST/10:00 PM EST. With a new head coach and a new attitude, many feel the Denver Broncos are a much-improved team this season. For this particular matchup, starters are expected to get 15 snaps. After that they do have ample talent in key offensive backup positions, my friends. Meanwhile, the Arizona Cardinals are predicted to be just about the worst team in the NFL as prognosticators have them winning a mere, 4.5 games this season. Colt McCoy (check status) is going to start here as Kyler Murray is not playing at all (check status). I doubt very much they will jeopardize running back, James Conner, the Broncos are 5-1 straight up and 4-2 ATS the last two preseasons. I like Denver here. Take them, lay the 5.5. Thank you. |
08-11-23 | Commanders v. Browns -3 | Top | 17-15 | Loss | -105 | 28 h 31 m | Show |
Cleveland Browns. Friday Night Lights Winner. Game 116. 4:30 PM PST/7:30 PM EST. Cleveland came out and took down the New York Jets this preseason already with just backups. Deshaun Watson is expected to play here a bit. But it is the deep, strong ground game of the Browns that will control the tempo and the clock here. This is a team that wants their in-state rival, division favorite, Bengals to know they are not a pushover this season. Washington covered just one preseason contest over the last two Augusts. Take Cleveland. Thank you. |
08-11-23 | Giants -2.5 v. Lions | 16-21 | Loss | -110 | 27 h 26 m | Show
New York Giants. NFLX TOUCH DOWN PLAY. Game 107. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. Prognosticators have the Lions running away with the NFC North this season, while the Giants are picked to finish third in the NFC East. New York has a lot more to prove here. And believe it or not, are deeper with backups at key offensive positions. Detroit has only covered just once over the last two preseasons. Take the Giants. Thank you. |
08-11-23 | Steelers -2.5 v. Bucs | 27-17 | Win | 100 | 27 h 15 m | Show
Pittsburgh Steelers. High Roller. Game 109. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. Oh, how the Steelers have fallen. It seems forever that they were not just the favorite to take their division, but also a top, AFC powerhouse. But when a team steeped in tradition is picked to finish last in their division, but still expected to win over nine games, something just isn’t right, my friends. Pittsburgh won six of their last seven preseason games straight up, going 5-2 ATS. The Buccaneers have talent and two able play-callers. But the defense is still quite questionable and the Steelers offense is chock-full of playmakers. Under a field goal here is a gift. Tampa Bay is 1-5 both straight up and ATS the last six preseason games. Take Pittsburgh. Thank you. |
08-10-23 | Texans v. Patriots +3.5 | Top | 20-9 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 36 m | Show |
New England Patriots. Thursday Night Winner. Game 104. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. The line in this contest moved because it was announced that CJ Stroud is expected to start. Trust me my friends, they won’t jeopardize him for too long. And after him taking the reins will be Case Keenum. Enough said! Mac Jones is not expected to see any action here. Not to fret, the second and third stringers have not been set as of today. So, I expect some solid competition with the backup quarterbacks here tonight. The New England offense is also loaded at the running back and wide receiver positions. So, you’re going to see some good talent on the field throughout the entire game. My friends, New England is picked to be dead last in the AFC East. That doesn’t sit well with their coach, their team, or their fans. Look for a good showing at home in front of their loyal fans in Foxboro. By the way, they are also 7-3 ATS, the last four years (three preseasons). Take the Patriots plus the 3.5. Thank you. |
08-27-22 | Washington Commanders v. Ravens -6 | 15-17 | Loss | -110 | 9 h 55 m | Show
Baltimore Ravens. High Roller Play. Game 122. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. Both head coaches announced that their starters will see some action today in the first half. Preseason predictions have the Washington Commanders to finish third in the NFC East, while the Baltimore Ravens (depending on the sportsbook you wager at) are being slated to compete for the AFC North. The Commanders are expected to win 7.5-games, while the Ravens are touted to win 10-games. Having said all that, whether Carson Wentz plays or not, Washington is not going to jeopardize their regular-season starting quarterback for too long in this final preseason contest. Let’s face it, their backups are inexperienced and unpolished. On the other hand, Tyler Huntley will get a lot of the snaps here. And he has looked very good this August. Let’s not forget that the Ravens are a team that like to win an NFL exhibition play, riding a 22-game win streak. Looking at the Baltimore defense, they have held two good offensive squads in check this preseason. And there’s quite a few household names on their stop-unit still looking to solidify a Slot and either the second or third strings of this squad. They will contain the Commanders “O”. Take the Ravens. Thank you. |
08-26-22 | Patriots v. Raiders | Top | 6-23 | Win | 100 | 22 h 50 m | Show |
Las Vegas Raiders. NFL Touchdown Game of the Month. Game 116. 5:15 PM PST/8:15 PM EST. These two teams saw plenty of one another this week, as they practiced together Tuesday and Wednesday. Thus far this preseason, New England is 1-1 straight up, while Las Vegas is 3-0 straight up. They are a combined, 5-0 against the spread. Having said that, reports are that some major starters will see action here in the first half. But there is no way Bill Belichick is going to jeopardize his starting quarterback or some of his key offensive players for too long in this contest. As we all know, the Patriots are the most successful team in the history of the NFL. But this team is not the team we are so accustomed to seeing over the last two decades or so. While they are touted to finish either second or third in the AFC East (depending on the book you like to wager at), they are slated to only win 8.5-games. Barring a major issue or injury, the Buffalo Bills will run away with their division. Any hope that this offense has depends on Mac Jones as their future. As I stated earlier, they will not jeopardize him. On the other hand, the team getting the most ink in the news the last several seasons, is certainly the Las Vegas Raiders. They’ve had a notorious coach come and go. They’ve had several players already caught up in legal issues and are also gone. They play in the most modern stadium in sports today, in the most exciting city in the world today. However, all this and yet they are still expected to finish last in the AFC West and win just 8.5-games. This is a team very deep at major positions, with several household names trying to earn spots both on the second and third strings. Understand that they have a big payroll and they must continue to win to keep individual home game ticket sales up and season-ticket holders happy. The players know this as well as the fans. Sharing the division with three teams that are significantly higher-rated stresses urgency for the team to go into the regular-season undefeated. This will give the team some momentum while exciting their fan base. Once again, they are deeper at major positions and the urgency is there for them to go into the regular season as big winners. Take the Raiders. Thank you. |

08-20-22 | Steelers +3.5 v. Jaguars | Top | 16-15 | Win | 100 | 107 h 13 m | Show |
Pittsburgh Steelers. High Roller Play. Game 417. Saturday, August 20, 2022. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. +3.5. The Pittsburgh Steelers are a team steeped in tradition. For the first time in as far back as we can remember, they are kicking off a campaign without Ben Roethlisberger at the helm. This is partially the reason why they’re only touted to win 7.5-games this season. They are expected to finish dead-last in the AFC North. And are an NFL longshot at 100-1 to win the Super Bowl. Well, this team has a very loyal fan base that expects a playoff-caliber squad every season. Let’s put a pin in that. We will circle back around to it. The Jacksonville Jaguars are without question, once again in a rebuilding year. There is talent on this team. The future is certainly in the hands of players like Trevor Lawrence. However, no one expects too much from them this season. They are predicted to win just 6.5-games. Most preseason prognosticators have them finishing third in the AFC South. And they too are 100-1 to win the Super Bowl. The big difference in these two teams is the fact that the Jaguars fan base is growing each season despite knowing that they are still rebuilding. There is no urgency for the team to win right now. We can also look at the depth charts. Pittsburgh is certainly deeper at key offensive positions. They have a slew of known quarterbacks fighting for second third and fourth string slots. Not to mention a couple of household names trying to make the squad in the backfield and as receivers. Known traditionally as a defensive powerhouse, they will establish their “D” here. Steelers long time head coach, Mike Tomlin has been in Pittsburgh over 15-years. One thing he likes to do each August, is get some wins in preseason play. Going back the last four preseasons, the Steelers are 10-3 straight up an 8-4-1 against the spread. Tomlin is a coach that actually puts forth effort in exhibition play. Well, newly acquired Jaguars head coach, Doug Pederson would love to make a splash. But he certainly isn’t going to jeopardize any of his key players before the regular season begins. Just for the record, the Jaguars are 1-8 straight up and 3-6 against the spread the last three preseason campaigns. I love the line here +3 1/2. Take the Steelers. Thank you. |
08-20-22 | Lions v. Colts +3 | 27-26 | Win | 100 | 3 h 7 m | Show
Indianapolis Colts. Touchdown Play. Game 410. 10:00 AM PST/1:00 PM EST. The Indianapolis Colts are a highly-touted team, expected to win 10-games this season. There is a lot of pressure on this team to win. Losing their first preseason outing a week ago to the Buffalo Bills is forgivable. But they must get the team some momentum here today. And get their fans and season-ticket holders excited. They are deep at all the major offensive positions. They are loaded at quarterback, have some very good ball-carriers, and a slew of solid receivers. On the other hand, no one expects too much of the Detroit Lions once again this season. They are touted to win just six-games and finish and dead-last in the NFC North. They do have some quality talent at key positions. But they don’t have depth at all. On top of that their offensive line is absolutely deplorable. The last few seasons Indy has done well in the month of August, going 6-1 straight up and six-0-1 against the spread. Take the Colts here today. Thank you. |

08-19-22 | Panthers +4.5 v. Patriots | 10-20 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 56 m | Show
Carolina Panthers. Bookie Buster Play. Game 403. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. Preseason predictions for both the Carolina Panthers and the New England Patriots aren’t very optimistic. Carolina is slated to finish third in the NFC South and win just six-games. New England, depending on what sportsbook you bet at is either second or third choice for the AFC East. And is predicted to win just 8.5-games. A far cry from what we are used to them being. No one expects too much from the Carolina Panthers. And, to be honest, the Patriots are iffy to make the postseason. Carolina head coach, Matt Rhule and New England top-dog Bill Belichick are in very different places their careers right now. Rhule is going to try to make a name for himself in the NFL as a head coach. Meanwhile “the Hoodie” has nothing left to prove, guys. The Panthers fans know not to expect too much. But are very loyal fans. The Patriots devoted following know that they are not the same team that they are so used to seeing the past two decades. But they too are very loyal. Having said this neither coach is going to jeopardize any of their key players for too long in this matchup. So, this game comes down to a few things guys. For starters, depth chart. And the Panthers, believe it or not, are significantly deeper at the quarterback, running back, and wide receiver positions. They have some household names looking to make this team as second or third-stringers. Both teams have done well the past several years in the month of August. But Matt Rhule is looking to make more of a splash and get his team, as well as their fans excited. That along with the fact that they are much deeper at key offensive positions, urges me to side with the Panthers here. Especially because news of Mac Jones getting play time has move this line approximately seven-points. They are putting way too much stock in the situation. Take Carolina folks. Thank you. |

08-11-22 | Giants v. Patriots +2.5 | 23-21 | Win | 105 | 10 h 54 m | Show
New England Patriots. Thursday Night Winner. Game 106. 4:00 PM PST/7:00 PM EST. This season, the New England Patriots are expected to win just 8.5-games. Well sports fans, I cannot remember the last time they were touted to win so few contests. Their opponent today, the New York Giants, are expected to win just seven outings this season. Let’s be honest, no one expects too much from the team again this year. They are predicted to finish dead-last in the very competitive, NFC East. Meanwhile, the Patriots are thought to finish second behind the Bills in the AFC East. Those numbers just don’t add up to me to be honest with you, my friends. This is a team steeped in tradition with a lot of success the last 20+ years. They are currently 50-1 to win the Super Bowl. That’s just not gonna’ sit well with their loyal fans. They must come out and get their fans excited for the upcoming campaign with a big win in their first performance this season. Not only that but they’re a little deeper at some key positions than the Giants. They have a couple of good backup quarterbacks, a couple of solid running backs, and a slew of very talented receivers. Well, New York has a couple of quarterbacks and running backs you may know. Several of their second and fourth string players at those positions are either out or questionable here today. One more item I’d like you to keep in mind. The last three preseasons, New England is 9-2 straight up and 8-3 against the spread. I expect them to come out and make a statement here today and get their loyal fans as well as their roster excited. Take New England. Thank you. |
08-27-21 | Steelers +4 v. Panthers | Top | 9-34 | Loss | -110 | 28 h 14 m | Show |
Pittsburgh Steelers. FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS GOY. Game 107. 4:30 pm pst. 9 Stars. +4. Pittsburgh is just a point away from going 3-0 ATS this preseason. The Steelers are steeped in tradition and have one of the most loyal fan bases in football. However, this upcoming season, they are forecasted to finish third in the AFC North. Another win here and they will have some momentum going in to the regular season while giving their fans something to be excited about. Head coach, Mike Tomlin is a boss that puts forth effort and tries to win in August, going 11-4 SU and 10-4-1 ATS their last 15 preseason contests. With a solid and experienced quarterback corps, look for Pittsburgh to put an aerial assault on a Carolina team that has been picked apart by the pass in both preseason games (497 yards passing allowed). Take the Steelers. Thank you. |
08-21-21 | Texans +4 v. Cowboys | 20-14 | Win | 100 | 10 h 50 m | Show
Houston Texans. Las Vegas Strip Move play. Game 419. 5:00 pm pst. 8 Stars. +4. Dak and Ezekiel are not expected to play here (check status). For a team and a head coach that isn’t known to put forth an effort in preseason play to be a favorite of this many points, is beyond me. Throw in the mix that the team is 0-2 SU and ATS thus far and has only mustered a total of 19 points, then I must side with the Houston squad looking to create some excitement for the team and their fans. As everyone knows they are touted to finish last in the AFC South so some buzz with another win in the preseason would certainly do just that. Take the points with the Texans. Thank you. |
08-20-21 | Bengals +5.5 v. Washington Football Team | 13-17 | Win | 100 | 10 h 1 m | Show
Cincinnati Bengals. Friday Night Lights Winner. Game 405. 5:00 pm pst. 8 Stars. +5.5. The WFT can definitely surprise Dallas for the top spot in the NFC East. The Bengals, on the other hand, are forecasted to finish last in the AFC North and would love to give their fans something to be excited about. The Patriots ran through the WFT defense in last week’s 22-13 loss and no cover. The Bengals, which beat the Buccaneers, 19-14 for the outright win have a very impressive rushing corps. The WFT isn’t known to try too hard in August, riding a 2-7 mark both SU and ATS their last nine preseason games. And they certainly won’t jeopardize their playmakers too long in just Game 2 of the preseason. Too many pints to give here. Take the Bengals. Thank you. |
08-14-21 | Jets v. Giants +1.5 | 12-7 | Loss | -110 | 96 h 20 m | Show
New York Giants. Game 124. 4:30 pm pst. The New York Giants are 6-2 SU and ATS the last two preseasons. This is a team with quality back-ups. Some names that you know form being solid college and pro players. Of these two New York football teams, the Giants have a punchers chance in their division this season while the Jets have absolutely no shot at the AFC East title. Take the Giants. Thank you. |
08-12-21 | Steelers +1 v. Eagles | 24-16 | Win | 100 | 49 h 43 m | Show
Pittsburgh Steelers. Game 105. 4:30 pm pst. Philadelphia isn’t known to try too hard in August and I don’t see them jeopardizing either their current starting quarterback or their future starting quarterback. Pittsburgh looked pretty good in their NFLX opening season win and cover over Dallas a week ago. The Steelers, which are forecasted to be a “mediocre” team this upcoming season, would love to give the team and their fans something to be excited about. Take Pittsburgh. Thank you. |
08-29-19 | Dolphins +3.5 v. Saints | 16-13 | Win | 100 | 8 h 4 m | Show
Take Miami. This is my NFLX GOM. Game 125. 5:00 pm pst. Here we see just about the worst team in the NFL take on one of the best. The Dolphins have covered all 3 preseason outings, while the Saints are 1-1-1 ATS. The 3.5 here definitely prompts me to side with a Miami organization that needs to sell season tickets. TAKE 3.5 with the Fins. Thank you. |
08-24-19 | 49ers +3.5 v. Chiefs | 27-17 | Win | 100 | 10 h 47 m | Show
Take San Francisco. This is my TD play. Game 275. 5:00 pm pst. If this was the regular season, this game would have a very different line...even higher than 3.5 points. It's that extra .5 point that I really like here. San Francisco is 2-0, both SU and ATS this preseason while not touted to be any true threat in the NFC come the regular season. hey have good numbers coming from both their QB's and RB's. Kansas City, which is 1-1, both SU and ATS, but is expected to be a contender for the AFC title. They are not going to jeopardize any key players here more than they have to. take the 49ers plus the 3.5 points. Thank you. |
08-23-19 | Bills -2 v. Lions | 24-20 | Win | 100 | 10 h 55 m | Show
Take Buffalo. This is my TD PLAY. Game 265. 5:00 pm pst. WOW, is Detroit just pathetic. The Lions are 0-2, both SU and ATS this preseason, while the Bills are 2-0, both SU and ATS. The Lions, guys, they do not possess a single able QB or RB. Even Detroit fans would have a difficult time naming the backfield starters. I know I didn't know them all. On the flip side, the Bills have three adequate QB's, and several solid RB's. Buffalo has a good front office and very loyal fans. They will come out here to impress both. TAKE THE BILLS -2.0. Thank you. |
08-23-19 | Browns -3 v. Bucs | 12-13 | Loss | -100 | 10 h 31 m | Show
Take Cleveland. This is my TV GAME WINNER. Game 263. 4:30 pm pst. The hype surrounding Cleveland is for real. This is a team that went from a league doormat to a league contender in just a few seasons. AND, they take preseason football very seriously, going 9-1, both SU and ATS the last 10 exhibition outings. Tampa Bay does possess several good QB's, but are without a true threat at RB. The Browns stay hot. LAY THE 3 WITH CLEVELAND here guys. Thank you. |
08-22-19 | Packers v. Raiders +3 | 21-22 | Win | 100 | 8 h 5 m | Show
Take Oakland. This is my TV GAME WINNER. Game 260. 5:00 pm pst. There's a lot of pressure on Jon Gruden's Raiders to win. They are 2-0, both SU and ATS in exhibition play as QB, Mike Glennon has tallied 375 YP on a 71.8% CR, with two TD's. Green Bay is touted to be a force in the NFC. But, Aaron Rodgers has yet to take a snap and once again the Packers have no ground game whatsoever. Oakland is 5-1, both SU and ATS the last six NFL preseason outings. TAKE THE POINTS WITH THE RAIDERS AT HOME. Thank you. |
08-22-19 | Giants +3 v. Bengals | 25-23 | Win | 100 | 7 h 8 m | Show
Take New York. This is my TD play. Game 251. 4:00 pm pst. New York is 2-0, both SU and ATS this preseason. They are stacked at the QB position and have a lot of pressure coming from the front office to win. Getting three points here is a gift. TAKE THE GIANTS. Thank you. |
08-17-19 | Browns +3 v. Colts | 21-18 | Win | 105 | 73 h 57 m | Show
Take Cleveland. This is my BB play. Game 417. 1:00 pm pst. Andrew Luck is scheduled to see action here. The news has moved the line (as of print) from Cleveland -1 to Indy -3. Indianapolis fell short to Buffalo last week, 24-16, while Cleveland blasted Washington, 30-10. Both coaches and both teams like to play hard in the preseason. However, there is so much hype surrounding the Browns that I feel the organization, the team, and their fans don't just want, but need to win here. Take Cleveland. Thank you. |
08-16-19 | Bears +2.5 v. Giants | 13-32 | Loss | -102 | 7 h 28 m | Show
Take Chicago. This is my TV GAME WINNER. Game 413. 4:30 pm pst. Chicago showed very little in a 23-13, Week 1 loss to Carolina. But no significant starters saw action. The Giants outlasted the Jets, 31-22 as the G-men did have some key players play. The Bears are a highly-touted team and do try in NFL exhibition games. A few more starters will see action here for Chicago. Giving the Bears points is a gift. I kinda' like them outright, but take the 2 with Chicago. |
08-16-19 | Dolphins +3 v. Bucs | 14-16 | Win | 100 | 7 h 21 m | Show
Take Miami. This is my FNL winner. Game 415. 4:30 pm pst. Sports fans, what can you say about the Dolphins? They are touted to be the worst team in the NFL this season at 500-1 to win the Super Bowl, while forecasted to win a League-low, 4.5 games. Certainly, gone are the days of Larry Czonka led teams of the 70's and the Dan Marino led teams of the 80's and 90's. However, cross-state rivals, Tampa Bay AIN'T that much better. Miami bested Atlanta in Week 1, 34-27, and Tampa Bay gave Pittsburgh a tough game in a 2-point loss at Heinz Field. But, with a line of 3 here, be smart and take the points. Take the Dolphins. Thank you. |
08-16-19 | Bills v. Panthers -1 | 27-14 | Loss | -110 | 7 h 5 m | Show
Take Carolina. This is my LVSM. Game 412. 4:00 pm pst. Both squads looked good as both had wins in Week 1. There's a lot of pressure on Carolina to succeed, although both teams are slated to win just 7.5 games this upcoming season. However, looking at the last several exhibition campaigns, I must side with a Panthers team that is 6-3, both SU and ATS the L9 August contests. Lay under a FG here. Take Carolina. Thank you. |
08-15-19 | Raiders +3.5 v. Cardinals | 33-26 | Win | 100 | 29 h 3 m | Show
Take Oakland. This is my TD play. Game 409. 5:00 pm pst. Both teams won in Week 1 against superior foes. Both also try in the preseason, as both went 3-1 SU and ATS a year ago. And, both are touted to finish last in their divisions. But, with a line (as or print) of 3.5 with some3's, I must be smart and take that edge with Jon Gruden here. Take the Raiders. Thank you. |
08-15-19 | Jets v. Falcons -1.5 | 22-10 | Loss | -110 | 29 h 41 m | Show
Take Atlanta. This is my MONEY PLAY. Game 504. 4:30 pm pst. The Atlanta Falcons are already 0-2, and took a loss last week to the NFL's worst team, the Miami Dolphins. The New York Jets took a defeat at the hands of the other New York team, the Giants. Both teams are slated to improve from last year's teams, but I feel the Falcons need to get in sync here. Take Atlanta. Thank you |
08-10-19 | Bengals +3.5 v. Chiefs | 17-38 | Loss | -110 | 10 h 6 m | Show
Take Cincinnati. This is my LVSM. Game 277. 5:00 pm pst. The Kansas City Chiefs, along with the New England Patriots, are the favorites to not just take the AFC Championship at 3/1, but both are also the overall fav's to win the Super Bowl at 6/1. They are only one of seven teams touted to win double-digit games this season (10.5). They come off a 12-win campaign last year, losing to the Patriots in the AFC Title game, in OT. Cincinnati comes off a six-win season last year (slated to win six this year), is picked to finish last in the AFC North, is 50/1 to win the AFC and 100/1 in Super Bowl odds. The team and their fans don't expect too much this upcoming season. So coming out here and starting the campaign with a big showing will boost their confidence and give their loyal fans something to be excited about. They were 3-1 both SU and ATS in last year's exhibition play. The Chiefs will not put any of their playmakers at risk here, especially in Week 1 of the preseason and hurt any chances of returning to the AFC Championship and a possible Super Bowl appearance. Take the Bengals. Thank you. |
08-09-19 | Bucs v. Steelers -2.5 | 28-30 | Loss | -109 | 54 h 49 m | Show
Take Pittsburgh. This is my GOW. Game 274. 4:30 pm pst. There is a lot of pride within the Pittsburgh Steelers team and their fans. Despite the fact that they certainly aren't the team we got so accustomed to seeing over recent years, Pittsburgh is 9/1 to win the AFC championship. Big Ben is getting old and let's face it, he is injury prone. But yet, they are still a very tough team. Tampa Bay is picked to finish last in the NFC South this season and have to start their campaign here, facing a Pittsburgh team that went 6-2, both SU and ATS the last two exhibition season's in Heinz Field. TAKE THE STEELERS. Thank you. |
08-08-19 | Chargers v. Cardinals -2 | 13-17 | Win | 100 | 32 h 25 m | Show
Take Arizona. This is my SHOCKER play. Game 270. 7:00 pm pst. If this was a regular season game, it would be a massacre. Coming off a three-win season last year, Arizona should buy stock in aspirin and Kleenex. They are going to be a league doormat. Los Angeles notched 12 victories a season ago and are one of only six teams touted to have double-digit wins this season. Of course they share the division with the Chiefs, which along with the Patriots are the AFC's forecasted two best teams. But, the Chargers are surely an AFC elite. They have a real shot at the AFC championship. They will not put any playmakers at risk here. The Cardinals were 3-1, both SU and ATS in the 2018 preseason. TAKE ARIZONA. Thank you. |
08-08-19 | Redskins v. Browns +2 | 10-30 | Win | 100 | 30 h 2 m | Show
Take Cleveland. This is my BB play. Game 258. 4:30 pm pst. Once again this season, there is serious expectations for the Cleveland Browns. Yes, last season, they improved drastically. Yes, they have a tons of talent. And, yes, they are picked to win the very competitive, AFC North over perennial powerhouses, the Steelers and the Ravens. They take exhibition play very seriously, as they were 3-1, both SU and ATS a year ago. Washington is figured to finish dead last in the NFC East. To be quite honest, this is not a good team at all and I don't see them jeopardizing what little talent they have before the regular season begins. TAKE CLEVELAND. Thank you. |
08-08-19 | Colts v. Bills +2.5 | 16-24 | Win | 100 | 30 h 41 m | Show
Take Buffalo. This is my TD play. Game 254. 4:00 pm pst. There is high hopes for Indianapolis this season. The Colts are slated to win 10 games and reports are that they are much improved at both ends of the field. Buffalo is not a very good team and sharing the division with perennial AFC East Champs, New England makes it even tougher. However, the Bills need to come out of the gate with a solid performance to boost their confidence and give their loyal fans a glimmer of hope. I don't expect you'll see any of the Colts key players see too much, if any, action. Despite a 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS preseason record last year, I like Buffalo +2.5 here and if the line jumps up to a +3, it's time to pull the trigger. TAKE THE BILLS. Thank you. |
08-01-19 | Broncos -2.5 v. Falcons | 14-10 | Win | 100 | 123 h 0 m | Show
Take Denver. This is my NFLX HOF Game Winner. Game 241. 5:00 pm pst. The Denver Broncos missed the playoffs last season and are only slated to win seven games this season, with odds of 40/1 to win the AFC. With John Elway on the hot seat and 1st year HC, Vic Fangio under the gun to start off the season with a bang, I like this team laying under a FG. They need to boost their confidence as a team and also generate a bit of excitement for their prideful and loyal, fan base. This is a team that is 6-2, both SU and ATS the last two exhibition seasons. By the way, the Broncos finished the regular season last year, losing four in a row both SU and ATS. Starting the 2019-2020 season off with a win would be huge here. The Atlanta Falcons missed the postseason as well last year. But, this is a team with a lot of talent, slated to win 8.5 games and are 15/1 to win the NFC. Under Dan Quinn, who is entering his fifth year as HC, this team is 0-8, both SU and ATS the last two NFLX campaigns. With more to lose if starters get injured, and not showing interest in August contests, I expect this Falcons team to not really try to hard here. Take Denver. Thank you. |
08-25-18 | Ravens -1 v. Dolphins | 27-10 | Win | 100 | 21 h 9 m | Show
Take Baltimore. This is my LATE BAILOUT. Game 275. 4:00 pm pst. Baltimore is 3-0 SU in the pre-season, while Miami's 0-2 mark, makes the team 0-5 (both SU and ATS), their L5 outings going back to last season. The Dolphins have no defense and a very poor ground gamed. The Ravens are stacked at all key positions, have a lot to prove, and are led by a HC that wants to win in pre-season play. Baltimore is 8-0 ATS the L8 vs. Miami. Take the Ravens. Thank you. |
08-25-18 | 49ers v. Colts | 17-23 | Loss | -107 | 19 h 48 m | Show
Take San Francisco. This is my TD play. Game 271. 1:30 pm pst. San Francisco's trio of QBs, Beathard, Mullens, and Garoppolo have teamed up for 661 YP. Indy QB, Andrew Luck is slated to take a few more snaps here but his backups, Brissett, Walker, and Kaaya are just horrible. With no ground game to speak of, the Colts just can't score. The 49ers have a HC that believes in strong pre-season play. The Road Team is 5-1 ATS the L6 meetings in this series. Take San Francisco. Thank you. |
08-25-18 | Titans v. Steelers -4 | 6-16 | Win | 100 | 19 h 33 m | Show
Take Pittsburgh. This is my CASH MONEY PLAY. Game 268. 1:00 pm pst. Pittsburgh's offense has accounted for 65 points this pre-season, while Tennessee is 0-2, both SU and ATS, and has tallied a combined, 31 points thus far. Last year, the Steelers went 3-1 SU and ATS in exhibition play while the Titans went 1-3 SU and ATS. The Home Team is 4-1 ATS the L5 meetings in this series. Take Pittsburgh. Thank you. |
08-24-18 | Packers +6 v. Raiders | 6-13 | Loss | -105 | 12 h 8 m | Show
Take Green Bay. This is my FNL play. Game 263. 7:30 pm pst. Reports are that Aaron Rodgers (check game time status) won't see action tonight. Whether he does or not, it won't matter here. Kizer, Hundley, and Boyle have combined for 635 YP and 5 TD's this preseason. NFL talk is that Kizer and Hundley are in a fight for the #2 spot. Derek Carr is slated to take a few more snaps but this Oakland offense has struggled to put points on the board and seems to be favoring the ground game. Take Green Bay. Thank you. |
08-20-18 | Ravens +1 v. Colts | 20-19 | Win | 100 | 34 h 43 m | Show
Take Baltimore. This is my NFLX GAME OF THE WEEK. Game 431. 5:00 pm pst. Baltimore is 10-0 SU and 9-1 ATS the L10 pre-season contests. The Ravens HC, John Harbaugh puts a lot of stock in exhibition games. Joe Flacco is his starting QB and will see action here. But backups, Griffin III, Jackson, and Woodrum are all able play-callers. Indianapolis, although will be a better team this season with a Healthy, Andrew Luck, the team overall does not have the personnel to compete here. Luck's backups fall way short on talent. Take the Ravens. Thank you. |
08-18-18 | 49ers +3 v. Texans | 13-16 | Push | 0 | 9 h 58 m | Show
Take San Francisco. This is my NO LIMIT PLAY. Game 423. 5:00 pm pst. San Francisco is a highly-touted team this season. They have a HC that puts forth a strong effort in pre-season play. Houston is a decent team but falls short at the QB position with Weeden, Webb, and Watson. The 49ers need to keep their foot on the gas here. Take San Francisco. Thank you. |
08-18-18 | Jaguars v. Vikings -4 | 14-10 | Loss | -105 | 2 h 5 m | Show
Take Minnesota. This is my CASH MONEY PLAY. Game 418. 10:00 am pst. Minnesota lit up Denver in Week 1, 42-28. We all know how good the Vikings defense is, so shutting down the Jaguars offense won't be an issues. It's the Minny offense with Cousins, Sloter, and Siemian that will shred the Jacksonville "D". Take the Vikings. Thank you. |

08-17-18 | Bills v. Browns -3 | 19-17 | Loss | -120 | 10 h 36 m | Show
Take Cleveland. This is my BEST BET PLAY. Game 414. 4:30 pm pst. With the #1 overall draft pick and a few other key acquisitions, Cleveland has brought some excitement back to the city and their fans for the first time in years. With a 20-10 win and cover over the Giants LW, the browns are now 5-0 both SU and ATS their L5 exhibition contests. Buffalo has very little to be optimistic about and won't risk any playmakers here. Take Cleveland. Thank you. |

08-16-18 | Jets +1.5 v. Redskins | 13-15 | Loss | -115 | 22 h 49 m | Show
Take New York. This is my TOUCHDOWN PLAY. Game 403. 5:00 pm pst. Washington blew a 17-0 lead in their pre-season opener to New England. Now, rookie RB and projected starter, Derrius Guice is sidelined for the season after suffering a torn ACL in LW's, 26-17 loss. The Redskins don't have too many playmakers and even less to be excited about for the upcoming season. Predicted as the NFC East's last place team and slated to win just 7 games, the team won't jeopardize any other key personnel. New York is in the same boat in both their Division and overall on the season. But the team did come out in Week 1 and showed some pride as they blanked Atlanta, 17-0. With 3 able QB's this year and a HC that led a very competitive pre-season squad last year (3-1 ATS), the Jets will come in here motivated and eager to impress their fans. Take New York. Thank you. |

08-11-18 | Chargers v. Cardinals -2.5 | 17-24 | Win | 100 | 12 h 41 m | Show
Take Arizona. This is my CMP. Game 282. 7:00 pm pst. LA has covered just 2 pre-season games over the L2 exhibition seasons. Philip Rivers' backups are Cardale Jones and Geno Smith. Sam Bradford's backups are Josh Rosen and Mike Glennon. They should have no problem putting points up on a Chargers defense that is non-existent in pre-season play. Take the Cardinals. Thank you. |
08-11-18 | Vikings v. Broncos | 42-28 | Win | 100 | 11 h 48 m | Show
Take Minnesota. This is my TD play. Game 279. 6:00 pm pst. Minnesota is a team loaded with talent on both offense and defense. The Vikings are (along with the Eagles) the favorites to take the NFC. Denver is a mess, touted to finish last in the AFC West. Case Keenum and Paxton Lynch are in for a long night against the stout Minny "D". Take the Vikings. Thank you. |
08-10-18 | Lions +3 v. Raiders | 10-16 | Loss | -103 | 11 h 10 m | Show
Take Detroit. Game 277. 7:30 pm pst. The Raiders are not a team to try hard in pre-season play, covering just 4 games over the L5 exhibition seasons (4-16 ATS). New HC, Jon Gruden was just reported saying that his playmakers won't see too much action, if any. The Lions have a solid corps of backups that will be getting the bulk of the play here. The team is touted to finish 3rd in the NFC North and to win just 7.5 games. So they need a solid showing here for their own morale and the sake of the fans. Take Detroit. Thank you. |
08-09-18 | Titans v. Packers +1 | 17-31 | Win | 103 | 27 h 21 m | Show
Take Green Bay. This is my TOUCHDOWN PLAY. Game 268. 5:00 pm pst. Green Bay is once again an NFC elite team. This is a solid squad with a HC that does win in exhibition play. The Packers are 6-1-1 ATS the L2 pre-seasons. They possess an offense loaded with solid talent at the QB, RB, and receiver positions. QB's, Kizer and Hundley will put points on the board. Tennessee's key players were all big names on the collegiate level. Leading rusher, Derrick Henry is the teams workhorse and won't see too much action, if any. Take Green Bay. Thank you. |

08-09-18 | Redskins +3.5 v. Patriots | 17-26 | Loss | -115 | 27 h 58 m | Show
Take Washington. This is my HIGH ROLLER PLAY. Game 265. 4:30 pm pst. There is no doubt that New England is the team to beat in the AFC. However, when it comes to pre-season football, HC, Bill Belichick is not known for trying too hard and certainly not to risk any of his playmakers. Washington is picked to finish last in the NFC East, touted for just 7 wins this upcoming season. They must have a good showing for their confidence, their proud city, and their fans. Giving this team 3.5 points is a gift. Take the Redskins. Thank you. |

08-09-18 | Browns v. Giants | 20-10 | Win | 100 | 27 h 47 m | Show
Take Cleveland. This is my CASH MONEY PLAY. Game 257. 4:00 pm pst. The L2 seasons, Cleveland finished a combined, 1-31. Bringing in Baker Mayfield with the #1 overall pick has generated excitement. But the Browns front office has put quite a few talented players around the QB. The team is slated to win 5.5 games this season. One thing for sure, the entire organization knows they must start getting the city revved up so ticket sales start coming in. This is a team that was 4-0 both SU and ATS last pre-season. New York is in trouble. Outside of Saquon Barkley and Odell Beckham jr., Eli Manning doesn't have too many weapons at his disposal. The 37-year old QB just might be the 4th best starting QB in the NFC East. The Giants only covered 1 pre-season game a year ago and that was in Week 4. Take the Browns. Thank you. |
08-02-18 | Bears v. Ravens | 16-17 | Win | 100 | 98 h 44 m | Show
Take Baltimore. This is my Hall of Fame Game Winner. Game 242. 5:00 pm pst. The Baltimore Ravens take pre-season play very seriously, as they are 8-0 both SU and ATS the L2 NFL exhibition campaigns. John Harbaugh's team is once again picked to finish 2nd in the AFC North behind Pittsburgh. This doesn't sit well with the Head Coach. The team has 4 solid QB's on their roster. Each could be a starter in the League. Chicago, on the other hand, will not jeopardize Mitch Trubisky any time soon, especially with a team slated to win just 6 1/2 games this season. Take the Ravens. Thank you. |

08-25-17 | Chiefs v. Seahawks -3 | 13-26 | Win | 100 | 8 h 55 m | Show
Take Seattle. This is my TV Game winner. Game 258. 5:00 pm pst. Both teams are touted to be solid this season. However, Seattle (slated for 10 wins) seems to have their Division sewn up while Kansas City (9 wins) is in a dog fight with both Oakland and Denver in the AFC West. The Seahawks are further along with stellar play by QB', Russell Wilson and Trevone Boykin. Pete Carroll puts a lot of stock in pre-season contests, going 5-1 SU and ATS the L2 years, including a win and cover over KC 2 years ago. One more major factor is luxury of playing at home in front of the loudest crowd in football. Take Seattle. Thank you. |
