Kansas at Texas College Basketball Odds

ESPN’s Big Monday is on tonight and the 9 pm eastern game is certainly a very big one! #1 Kansas will travel to Austin to take on the Texas Longhorns in a heated Big 12 battle. Texas was at the top spot in the polls earlier this year, but they have slumped badly of late and have lost four of their last six games. Kansas is 22-1 and 6-1 on the road this year. Texas has never beaten a #1 ranked basketball team in their history, can they do it for the first time tonight? Sign up at Bodog and receive an unlimited 10% initial deposit bonus.
After starting the season 17-0 the Texas Longhorns have really slipped up of late, losing 4 of their last 6 and failing to cover the spread in nine of their last ten games. Texas is led by Damion James, who is both a scorer and a rebounder down low. Dexter Pittman gives Texas two very strong big men down low. Avery Bradley is their leading guard. They are the #1 offensive rebounding team in the country and they are number 3 in points per game at 84.1.
Kansas has a strong inside/outside combination with Sherron Collins running the point and Cole Aldrich patroling the lane down low. The Jayhawks lead the nation in field goal percentage defense and are eighth in field goal percentage on offense. They have multiple scoring options including Collins, Aldrich, Henry, Morris, and Taylor. This team is built to make a run at the national title.
The college basketball lines show Kansas a 2 point road favorite in this Big 12 showdown. Expect both teams to bring their best effort tonight. This should be a good one!
