Ok so I’m a little biased so what. There are college football stadiums and then there are cathedrals that adorn the landscape.

There are fields where players roam, and then there are hostile, unfreindly waters where fear and trepidation rule.

Finally, there is loud, and there is Ben Hill Griffin stadium at Florida field. Also known to many as simply ,”The Swamp”

Coined by Gator Coaching legend, Steve Spurrier in the early ’90s, The Swamp is held close to many a gator fan’s heart. It has supplied one of the most dominating home field advantages that a collegiate football team has ever known over the last 20 years.

The Swamp is not simpy a field, but territory unknown for visiting teams. I’ve taken many a freind to their first Gator game, only to watch in silent amazement as they gaze over the 90,000 plus lathered in orange and blue.

So he we have it. My take on the top 5 reason that I beleive the Swamp in Gainesville is the hottest college football ticket around.
